Lead Tough Not Loud
Leadership is NOT about position, title and image. It's about creating genuine trust with those that follow. Trust that leads to both organizational success and personal fulfillment. There are no cookie cutter solutions to the tough issues leaders face. Leading well isn't easy, but it can be intentionally genuine. It often means doing things that aren't that glorious, making hard but right decisions, and taking risks that don't make sense to the majority but brings complete clarity for the few focused on the future. Developing leadership principles is important, but principles alone can cause us to miss out on the depth of trust character development can bring to our leadership.
