What If It All Works Out
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What do you do when your brain goes straight to worst-case scenario and won’t let go? Amanda Joy sits down with her best friend Precious Prigge for a real, funny, and faith-filled conversation that starts with postpartum life and quickly turns into a mindset shift that can change your whole day: “What if it all worked out?” We talk about how hard it is to fit your old life into your new life after having a baby, why saying no can feel so painful, and how peace can still be possible when you’re tired, late, and carrying a mental load you can’t explain.
From there, we get into the messier middle where most of us live: big decisions with unknown outcomes. Amanda shares a financial decision around a rental property and how journaling helps her sort what’s true from what’s fear. We unpack surrender as something you practice daily, including taking thoughts captive, paying attention to the power of your words, and choosing faith when anxiety wants the microphone. We also talk Scripture, prayer, and the kind of peace that doesn’t come from “having it all together,” but from trusting God in real time.
Precious opens up about her congenital heart issue and what it looks like to stop rehearsing disaster and start asking a different question: what if God heals, provides, and carries you through? If you need Christian encouragement, postpartum support, and a practical way to stop overthinking, press play, then subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find Cup of Joy.
Welcome And Meet Precious
SPEAKER_01Welcome back to the Cup of Joy podcast. This is your host, Amanda Joy, with a very special treasure of a guest. You say that every time. I love it. I eat it up every time. I mean, come on, fresh. I mean, even your name, Precious. Precious guest. So, do you want to just introduce yourself to the audience? Hi.
SPEAKER_00My name is Precious Priggy. I'm Amanda's bestie.
SPEAKER_01You're actually in my phone as bestie.
SPEAKER_00So yes, can confirm. And I've been telling her to do this podcast. So I said today when we hang out, we're doing a podcast. We're doing a podcast. And I'm like, dang, I kind of wish it was raining outside.
SPEAKER_01Because you know, having being stuck in we're already at the gym, like in this dark dungeon gym. Stinky. Lifting up what it was so stinky. Was that me? No. It was somebody else. Okay. I like anyway. And just knowing it's beautiful outside, I'm like, I don't really want to record a podcast episode unless it's like raining. And then sure enough, on the way home, raindrops. Raindrops. I'm like, you know, okay, this is a good idea. This could work. We can't go on a walk now. We don't have our baby. So the walk doesn't even matter. Anyway, but you're clicking on this podcast episode because it's titled
Postpartum Life And Saying No
SPEAKER_01What If It All Worked Out. What if it all worked out? What if it did? I feel like it worked out today. So let's get into it. Um, should we do some life updates though before we even get started? Go ahead. This is your podcast. People want to know what happened to Precious.
SPEAKER_00I mean, of course they're asking. There really are. They're DMing. DM messages coming in. We both had babies. Like nine months ago. Well. Yes. Four and a half months apart to be exact. Crazy. Which is, yeah. Who who orchestrated that? The big man. The big man. Oh. So that's been really fun, but I think that's where we've both kind of been raising babies. I know.
SPEAKER_01It's so weird to not have our babies with us right now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. That was the other point about today. Like, let's get one hour, just me and you not at the gym, because that hasn't happened ever. I know. Since both of them.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy. So here we are. Let's crack our bubblers. Oh my gosh, praise God. Okay. Do you hear that? Are you doing the that's too light blue?
SPEAKER_00Tropical dreamer. Educate them what it what your pink one is called.
SPEAKER_01Twisted elixir. Am I saying that right? Elixir? Elixir. The raspberry lime. It kind of does. Are you ready? It's not. Oh wait. Oh, I'm Wow. That was a good hey, Bubbler. Can you sponsor us? It's about time. Please. Cup of Joy podcast.
SPEAKER_00We've been through. We've been through it. We've been through your wedding with the Bubblers.
SPEAKER_01Oh my word.
SPEAKER_00It's our bachelorette party. The bubblers were stocked in the free.
SPEAKER_01We had an entire photo shoot with Bubbler there. Present. Road trips. Part of the batch party. You remember that? Now I can move forward. Yes, life updates. We both have babies. If you haven't listened last episode, it's on motherhood, and I really encourage you to go back and listen to that. But um, yeah, we're kind of I feel like you're more in the postpartum part being four and a half months out. Right. I'm still figuring out life. What is the best and worst part of this time?
SPEAKER_00Just wow, figuring out how your old life fits with your new life. Is that the best part or is that the worst part? That's the hardest part. So true. But the best part is getting to bring your baby to do all the things that you love to do. For example, for me, it's like church, and he already loves like the music at church, and everyone there loves him. And so it's like, I'm so happy that one of the most important parts of my life, I can still bring him and make him a part of that. That's so good. And the hardest part just being like having to say no to the things that it's just not gonna work anymore because you can't like always be on call. You can't just hop in your car and just head to the party.
SPEAKER_01You literally, I was already 30 minutes behind just me. And I have a baby. So you're just like, I actually can't come at all. I don't know what I'm doing. I every single day, as soon as I click that car seat into the car and look at Juniper, I'm like, girl, we're 45 minutes late. Should we even show up? But we are, and we're just running around.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, I just have to say no to like you should be saying no to more things, and that's hard for both of us. It's so hard.
SPEAKER_01But we're figuring it out. I know. Any other life updates besides baby? Babies?
SPEAKER_00They're besties, they don't know it. Oh, yeah. They actually do. Juniper loves Levi, and that's super cute.
SPEAKER_01It's really cute.
SPEAKER_00Levi's just figuring out life still.
SPEAKER_01So who is this lady?
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_01Why is she here half the time?
SPEAKER_00And not the other half. Oh.
The Question That Shifts Everything
SPEAKER_00So you could go into kind of this morning, our conversation, how we got here, and then I was like, let's make a podcast on that.
SPEAKER_01No, literally, I because I I think I was having this revelation sharing it with you, and you're like, that could be a podcast episode title. I'm like, yes, it could. And so now that's the podcast title because I truly feel like you need to hear what we are about to talk about. It's just enriched with so much peace and confidence in who our creator is and trusting in him and just the joy of what it looks like to surrender. I think part of surrender comes with action and like what does that action look like? Yeah. Um, and even if it's just like mentally. And the the power behind our words and our thoughts. And what is the scripture? Where is it? Um, precious, you can help me, on the power of the tongue, speaking life or death. Is that in proverb? We're gonna go to Google.
SPEAKER_00I love that. It's actually in Proverbs. Doesn't that sound like a proverb? That is a proverb. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and that love it shall eat the fruit of therefore. KJV. Anyways. What what translation was that? I don't know if that's what I was thinking of. Well, one thing that I was telling you was like, I love the verse that says, take every thought captive, and I've really been seeing you like grow into that. Where before you would share a bunch of thoughts, and I'm like, this is like anxiety speaking, and you're wrestling with it out loud because that's who you are. But I've seen you more so be like, no, like I'm confident that God will just like work through it, even if it, even if I chose the wrong choice, like God will work through it. Even if this looks rocky now, like God will work it out. So that's kind of I think where this whole revelation like is built up from.
SPEAKER_01And I want to say, because Precious asked me, she's like, where did this, where did this thought come from? Expecting me to say, like, this was a Holy Spirit, this was a Holy Spirit moment. Uh, a client shared this with me, but I do believe that the Holy Spirit brought that saying um back to the front of my mind during a time of wrestling. And I, if you're not a journaler and you're listening to this, I truly encourage that. Precious you me. She's talking to me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're you've gotten into voice memos, maybe sometimes. Well, I write music too, and I think that's a little bit of like part of like part of journaling.
SPEAKER_01So if yes, just encouraging. I'm a big, big journaler. I journal every morning, night, like just anytime I can to help get my thoughts
Journaling And The Financial Decision
SPEAKER_01on paper and just to just to kind of sort through what's truth and what's a lie. And we have a really big decision coming up with a rental property and just like a financial, um, I don't know. It's I don't even know how to share it. It's just it's a decision. It's a decision, either way.
SPEAKER_00Financial decision. Neither is wrong.
SPEAKER_01Yes. And so it's just like based off the like you said, neither it's not a wrong or right. It's just what is like what's the best situation, and the outcome is unknown. And that's like the scariest part is we could, you know, make this decision. I'm gonna keep we're just gonna say it. It's uh deed for contract, contract for deed, or like a traditional sale. And it's really not, it's so boring. I'm not gonna even go into details, but there's pros and cons to both options, to both choices. And Tyler and I don't know which option to choose. And so I just wrote down my initial thought or like my feelings based off of each choice. And when I wrote down the deed for contract, it came with just like a lot of fear and just burden of like what the next seven to ten years will look like that we still have this like tie. We still own it. We still someone else is like managing it. It's like two loans happening. They're paying us and the bank. And my big thing in this season is like I've just been feeling the weight of like being a slave to the lender, and it's mostly on my car, and I just like have been hyper fixating on it, and that's again something practicing every the thing about surrender is that it can creep back in. Yeah, we have this envelope in our hallway, precious. You've seen the envelope on the fridge, and now it's in the hallway, but it says Jesus. And it's just, and I might have I have talked about this before, but it bears repeating. It's a practical, physical way of surrendering to God, writing it down and putting in the envelope. You want to talk about it, you have to take it out of God's hands. You have to go back into the envelope and physically pull it out of the envelope and and take it out of his hands, and that's not something I want to do. So surrendering is a daily thing where it's like if I'm if I'm starting to get anxious or starting to question or starting to figure out my plans of how the best way this is gonna work, I'm taking it out of the envelope. And I've been doing this a lot. So with this particular situation, and I wrote down contract for deed, and it came with feelings of anxiety and of like overthinking, and of again feeling that tie to that burden. And then when I wrote down the traditional sale, I put a little arrow. Oh my god, like what do you say about this? What if it all works out? And it was birth from a client speaking to me, but if it was Holy Spirit bringing that back, and I just love how, and that's the same way we need to remember with God's word is that God speaks to us through his word.
SPEAKER_00But that can apply to like so many areas in life of like not saying yes to fear, but saying yes to faith. Amen. And that's kind of like what I thought a lot of people could take away from this because um I just feel like it takes the same amount of energy to either worry
Faith Over Worst Case Thinking
SPEAKER_00about something or put your faith in something, right? Because it's like the same concept. Yeah, you don't know the end result, but you're believing in one thing or the other. So it's like you're either believing, like, oh, this could crash and burn and end terribly and whatever, or you're believing for the best. This could work out. Like, I so one thing in my life right now is like I have a congenital heart issue that has been brought to light through pregnancy. And so for me, in in my life, what this looks like right now is I could either be so fearful and so focused on um, they say I need surgery. So, like, what if the surgery doesn't work out, or what if this, or what if my heart like gives out, or what if the surgery doesn't go well and I code on the table. But so many people have been speaking over me, and I I believe this for myself. Like, let's talk about faith. Let's talk about what if God heals me instead, and what if that's the end result rather than all the other bad things that I could be ruminating about, you know? So for me, that's what practically what this what if it works out in my life looks like right now.
SPEAKER_01Just growing up, and what I've observed is everyone goes to worst case scenario. Is that like a fight or flight response? Or like why do we naturally choose to just like prepare for the worst? That's such a good point, and then focus on that and almost like get ready for the worst.
SPEAKER_00Right. I mean, the enemy's voice just being loud is probably what it is, and not wanting us to believe in faith and it's almost God.
SPEAKER_01I wonder too, if like the other thing that comes to mind is like self-protection versus like allowing like Holy Spirit protection.
SPEAKER_00So one of the scriptures that comes to mind is Hebrews 11:1. Now, faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. So, like I said, things that we don't know are gonna happen. We just have faith in God. And that also takes like meditating in prayer, right? Like, what is he speaking over you? Is he gonna prepare you for challenges? He will, he'll prepare you in prayer, or he'll continue to speak like confidence over you that that things are gonna work out, you know. Like he's not just gonna leave you questioning, he'll help
Scripture On Peace In Trouble
SPEAKER_00prepare your heart.
SPEAKER_01That's so good. Okay, I actually can I steal your phone for a second. We did a Bible study the other night with some friends, and we were reading in the book of the Gospel of John, and we were in chapter 16, and the very last verse, 33, says, I have told you these things so that in me you have peace. In this world, you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world.
SPEAKER_00That's good.
SPEAKER_01The beauty in that is that as a Christian, we're not accepting Jesus into our life to have a life of just peace and ease, and it is, I mean, having peace is we have to die to our flesh. Like, what does that look like? We are in constant spiritual battle because this is not our world. And I love in these three sentences, he is talking to his disciples before he's sharing this part, and he's sharing about the Holy Spirit and like the gift of asking things in his name, and he's sharing this for us to have peace, but then he's reminding us that in that this world you will have trials and tribulations that is in God's word, and in the NLT version, it says many trials, many, and the only thing that he's asking us in all of this, but take heart.
SPEAKER_00I have overcome the world. Like rema remember what I say, like be still, know that I am God. So then I also think of the verse in Philippians 4, 6 through 8 that says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And then the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. So again, he's like not saying that we're never gonna worry, that we're never gonna go through things that are hard. He's saying, like, when these things happen, run to prayer. Amen. Remember who your God is, and then peace will flood over you that surpasses human understanding, human logic, and explanation and financial uh explanation, like things that you don't even think are possible will just happen because that's who he is. He's a God that makes a way. But if we're not looking for him to provide, if we're not looking for him to trust, we'll miss the peace, we'll miss the provision because we're not looking for it from our Heavenly Father. We'll just think it looks a certain way, like money in your bank account, rather than like people showing up for you and like praying for you and being that support. You'll think, well, I'm broke, so I don't have anything. It's like actually, God is providing a lot for you. You just have to open your spiritual eyes and see where those blessings are. It's so good. That's just one area I've been reminded of recently. Like postpartum, you know, like you can't work, you're stuck at home, but like people are a blessing to you through the Holy Spirit, like prompting them to show up for you.
SPEAKER_01It's like you you're in a position where you get to really see God move. Yeah, see his hand. Because it's not the money that's gonna save you, right? Or your hustle, you're like so vulnerable. Yeah, it's truly like it's all the Lord in doing that. And I just love you touching on peace that surpasses all like worldly or human knowledge or understanding, because I just think of the times in prayer where, or even when people have responded to me in prayer where I'm in this venting session and just like so overwhelmed, and like we talked about earlier, I do process out loud, and so I see the difference of like processing to processing out loud to somebody who does not walk with the Lord, and their response is like feeding into it to validate me and to in the in what they're trying to do is just like not reassure, but just like really validate my feelings. Like you're so right. But if I'm so right, that's not gonna add any more peace. I'm like, No, you're right. I'm so right. Like this is I'm doomed. But then talking to somebody with their spiritual eyes open who has seen God's hand in their life and experienced God's faithfulness, yes, his faithfulness, they don't have to say anything. All they have to respond and say is, is it okay if I if I pray over you? Like that's a lot. And it's like this act of like, there is nothing that I can say that's gonna fix this. Like there is nothing that I can say that's going to like that's a lot, but I do know a God that I serve that's so much bigger, and I've seen prayers answer, and I'm gonna respond in that. On the other side of that prayer is so much peace
The Recorded Game And Final Victory
SPEAKER_01because it's a reminder, right? And take heart.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01For I've overcome the world. Like we like Jesus has victory. Can you share the podcast that you were listening to about the oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00So this pastor was saying like how he preaches on Sunday, so he can't watch the football games or the basketball games, whatever that he likes to, so he records them. Um, and he's like, none of y'all are my friends if you tell me what happens. If you tell me the score before I get home and watch the game. And he had a friend one week, you know, just text him like, Wow, what a comeback. So he knew before watching the game that his team won. But watching the game, um, it looked awful for his team. Like they were down, I think it was basketball. I think they were down like 41. That's definitely basketball, something. I don't know. It was a lot. And he said later on he looked up the chances of them at winning the game, and it was like 2.5% chance. So normally you would just stop watching the game because you're just so frustrated. But he kept watching the game because he said he had hope in the text that he received. And then he like held up his Bible. He's like, I have hope in this text that God says we have the victory in the end. He holds all authority, he's on the throne. And so I just took that like with me because it's so true. Like, we can see with our physical eyes, for example, my illness. I can see with my physical eyes things that aren't working out, but I know that my God cares. I know that my God loves me, I know that he will provide. I know that even if I don't see victory on this side of eternity, I am complete on the other side of eternity. So I can have hope in that and hope in the word of God that I know that in the end we win, sort of to say. That's so good. Yeah, that's really powerful. What if it works out? What if we already know that we have the victory? Like what changes how we live.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, all gonna work out. And I thought about that even with this rental situation, that's way different than like a heart condition, a health, like a health concern. And in this, I'm just like when I'm in heaven, like this is not gonna matter. I'm not gonna like I just like it's not worth complaining about, it's not worth stressing about, it's not worth trying to because in both situations, I for the timing of it, it all has to align. Like, there is a lot of movement. Parts because there's other people's lives that are involved, and I care about those people's situations more than like my financial situation. Like I want to make sure
Control And Hustle That Broke Down
SPEAKER_01they are taken care of, and it's going to affect me financially, but then it affects my family. So I have to like put all these different, you know, pockets of things into play. But I'm like, but God knows. Like he cares about those people way more than I do. Right. And so it's like instead of looking at it like, oh my gosh, I'm so stressed or I'm so nervous, or like with your heart condition, like you're just choosing. Like I see you, I see you choose so much trust that I forget that you even have a heart condition.
SPEAKER_00I mean, praise God, it helps that I don't feel any physical symptoms from it. So I'm so grateful for that. But yeah, I mean, I my heart is bad. That's all I had to say.
SPEAKER_01It's crazy. And it's just, and it's crazy how God's miracle does look different for each person. Like my brother, with is it right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, me and Amanda's brother have the same heart condition and he just had surgery. So I said that he was my guinea pig to like walk through this all first. Yeah. But even God showed up in such a miraculous way in his surgery where he didn't have to get a mechanical valve put in. The doctor just repaired his own heart. That's crazy. Which I think is still a miracle. I mean, God uses doctors.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. And that's like a big thing too. If you're listening to this, like we are not anti-doctors, precious as a nurse. Like, we we love we love medicine. God has used people, but just praying over the hands of those in surgery, God's like those prayers came to fruition. And like David is having an incredible recovery, and God has provided through community with um the GoFundMe that Precious Created and food that was prepared. And so just seeing the other side of that has been really beautiful. And just in their marriage, the tenderness of David Amata and the closeness of her just taking care of him. It's really again like in what the enemy meant for evil, yes, God turns to good. Amen. And just so much more than we could ever imagine or plan for. And that's why we we gotta stop planning. Like we just have to stop because God's plan like way outdoes ours. So we just had a hands off.
SPEAKER_00My husband says the only reason I make plans is so that God can laugh at them. That's body. God can laugh and just change away. Or even like preparing for the worst, too, I think is like what we're naturally inclined to do, but that just shows that we don't trust God very much. It does isn't that what you said, they say like the where you worry the most is where you trust God the least.
SPEAKER_01Yes, and like anxiety, you can't have anxiety and trust at the same time. Like you can't experience it at the same time. So whenever I'm whenever I'm choosing anxiety, it's like that for me, I believe is a sin. It's like dishonoring because I'm not, yeah, I'm not trusting who God is. It's like I gotta go back to Job and uh read when God speaks because it's so powerful. Like God is God. And every single day we get to wake up and see the just the beauty of his creation. It's just sin, man. Screeps in so easily.
SPEAKER_00Do you think that like your younger self would have benefited from this question? Because I feel like your younger self was the workaholic, was the one that was like planning, was I don't know. I didn't know Brunette Amanda. That's a that's a story for another time. Yes. But like, did you kind of hustle with this idea in mind that like you had to get everything figured out? That's so good.
SPEAKER_01Um, resting with the question of like what if it all worked out? Yeah, I was so out of touch, I would say, with the idea of trusting somebody else to take care of it. That's good. And so I think part of it came from control. And um, I grew up in a household with very, very loving parents, and there was circumstances I think we all have grown up in our own unique childhood, but in this particular one, it was a childhood of a lot of love and also a lot of I don't want to say uncertainty, but just like inconsistency, and that in a way damaged me a little bit in some areas, and so I in order to feel consistent or in order to have that lifestyle of consistency, it took me taking the reins, like taking control, and that started with work, it started with a job, but then it turned into something bigger really fast. And like I know I use like I throw around like the terms like workaholic, but like it was a very real and like raw addiction. Yeah, it was a it was an addiction where I was addicted to having zero time in silence and constantly chasing after something, and I wouldn't necessarily be money because I had that, but I thought I was broke, like nothing was ever enough, right? And so it got to the point where it did like I did have um health concerns that were really um they were big, and it left me in the ER. I mean, the first the first week of it, I was in the ER eight times in seven days. Like it was like constant, it was like constant. The ambulance was constantly like wherever I was. There's like this lady on the ground, 911. I had my dad's like, stop calling the ambulance, please. You've gotta stop. We gotta get this girl wristband. If she falls, if she faints, like do not just leave her there.
SPEAKER_00Call Kenny.
SPEAKER_01Call Kenny 507. I'm not gonna finish that. Get her some salt, get her some hydration, some McDonald's French fries, do not call 911. She'll be fine. She'll be fine for 30 minutes. She'll be fine. She'll be back at work serving the time. Oh my gosh, Carl. No, for real though. I did. I would go to the ER and then I would like, they're like, you can't work for like the rest of the week. And you're like, I literally would crinkle it up and throw it in the garbage. And I'm like, I'm like, Dad, take me to Newt's. I gotta finish my shift. I'm closing tonight. They're gonna be so mad. And same thing with my car accident. That's what I think of. Yeah. In between my two jobs, I flipped my car. I was in a neck brace. It was a whole thing.
SPEAKER_00In the neck brace. Take me take me.
SPEAKER_01No, no, literally, the the the person, the first responder was my coworker. I'm like, Bailey, you get it. Like, I need a ride to work now. Can this thing like yeah, can you put the lights on? Can you put the lights on? Because now I'm late. You guys are I was already late. Why do you think I was speeding? So, anyway, they were like, listen, this is bad. You're not going back to work. So, what if it all worked out? Yeah, you know, I would really have liked to have that spoken over me at a younger age, but I don't know if I would have listened.
SPEAKER_00Right, you probably would have laughed. Like, yeah, well, I'm gonna go figure it out.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna go figure it out. And that's again like the beauty of God being such a gentleman is he's always there, like he is waiting for you. He wants that relationship with you, he wants you to speak to him and to talk to him. I was not willing to do that, and then at the right time, you know, God revealed it. But I yeah, so all that being said, it's just like whatever you are going through, there was so much time wasted on just anxiety and stress and overthinking and trying to figure out my own way of making all the stars align. And it just doesn't, it does not work out like that because we do need a savior, and I needed a savior when I was in that there was no one that could come and rescue me. There was no one that could come and tell me how to fix this. There was no no one other than Jesus Himself getting down to my level and picking me up and saying, Child, you are my daughter and I love you and slow down. You don't have to earn it or work for it. I'm just here because I love you. That was a crazy concept. That was crazy. I was like, there's no way. Like I have to, I have to do something. Like, and you will run yourself into the ground trying to do it on your own. You it's it's a strength to ask for help, it's a strength to rely on Jesus and to be fully dependent on him. And we live in a culture that pushes independence, especially for women. The like, I don't need no man. It's like, oh my word, I do. I so do. I need Tyler, I need Jesus, like I need my dad, I need my community, I need my friends. Like, I'm not, I'm proudly dependent on Jesus. I love that. Very Burnett Amanda. No, she was not. It's perfect because you're newly freshly blonde. I am freshly blonde. It's great. I could have really used the what if it all works out for a road trip.
SPEAKER_00I know I thought of when you were saying something about like the dark and like how prayer just like changes things, you know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, when we were in the ah, but the roles I know we already talked about the waterfall on the podcast, but like that waterfall.
SPEAKER_00I was like, let's just keep going. Let's just keep going. No. What if it's at the end of the rainbow?
SPEAKER_01It would have been better to just reverse
Depending On Jesus And Community
SPEAKER_01the whole way, like just get but what was at the end?
SPEAKER_00A beautiful rainbow and a coyote.
SPEAKER_01And a kite. Was it a coyote? No, it was like a wolf. It was a wolf. I was like, it was prettier than a coyote. It was like this beautiful wolf.
SPEAKER_00But did it work out? Not necessarily. We did make it to the waterfall, and the car is still intact. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Oh, what time is it? We do have babies. Oh, it's 1:13. I told my mom one o'clock. One o'clock. I have to pump.
Wrap Up Prayer And Where To Connect
SPEAKER_00You have to nurse.

It's ministry. It does. It's just a wider anyway. So cup of joy ministry. And then what's your handle? Precious Grace.
SPEAKER_00Underscore, Precious Grace underscore.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I love that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, some people think my name is Grace because of that, but your preagle name is Precious.
SPEAKER_01That is what's your second middle name?
SPEAKER_00Ellen.
SPEAKER_01Ellen. I forget that. That's beautiful.
SPEAKER_00What does Ellen mean? I don't know what it means, but it's a combination of my mom's middle name and my grandma's name. Oh. So that's beautiful. My mom gave me two middle names in case I didn't like the name Precious.
SPEAKER_01I could just go by Grace. That's really funny. Just a backup. Just in case. How thoughtful.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I love that.
SPEAKER_01Would you like to wrap us up in prayer then?
SPEAKER_00Sure, I'd be honored. Okay. Lord, we just thank you for this time. We thank you for this revelation of what it looks like to trust you. And just taking those thoughts captive. Are we going to believe the worst or believe that you love us and you're working all things together for the good of those who love you? God, we thank you that you give us what we don't deserve. You're always better to us than we deserve, Lord. And so just pray that the people listening to this podcast would choose to believe in that kind of God who is kind, who is just loves his children because they're his children. And um just surrender to your plans, your will, your way for them. And it's always better than we could ask, think or imagine, Lord. We just thank you that that's the kind of God we get to serve. We get to surrender to you. And so we just give you all the glory for this podcast, for this conversation, for this time together, and um everything good to come from it. So, Jesus, we love you. We thank you. Amen.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Oh, so beautiful. Thank you. Well, thanks for taking, thanks for making this happen. This anytime. This was you. This is all precious. SPEAKER_00It all works out. What if Bubbler someday actually does sponsor this? Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01I would cry. Can someone send this to Bubbler? Does anyone like have any connections? Please. I've called Bubbler before. They never call me back. I'm gonna keep knocking until that door's open. Amen. Okay, well, on that note, love you guys. Talk to you next time. Talk to you next time. Okay. Bye.
