And do you know what that sound is? It's time.
Sunny:What time is it?
Bruce:It's time for the Ugly Quacking Duck Podcast.
Sunny:And a brand new episode.
Bruce:That's right, it is the Ugly Quacking Duck Podcast, and this is the worst podcast in the known universe. And I'm glad you have found us, I'm glad you have downloaded it or you're following us live on stream. Not live, but streaming it. That's what I'm trying to say. Yay, hey, hey, this is Bruce.
Sunny:And this is Sunny. We're glad to have you aboard. We are going to have fun for the next few minutes.
Bruce:Yes, sir, that sounds right. I think we are. We want to welcome everybody aboard and again, sunny just said it, we thank you for coming up and picking our show, our episode. This would be episode 109.
Sunny:109? Oh my, let's do that again 109. Oh, oh my, let's do that again, 109,.
Bruce:Oh my, you're already starting in. I like it, sonny, you are there and ready to go. I appreciate that.
Sunny:Well, I appreciate you letting me be here and take part of this fun, fun hobby. We really like doing this.
Bruce:Yes, we do. It's great, I have to admit. By the way, we are in our normal studio today. It's kind of morning and we are recording this episode and you'll probably hear it on Monday, or it'll be live on Monday. If you're a subscriber to our podcast or not a podcast subscriber to our webpage, theodleyquackingduckcom, you'll probably get it a little bit early. Anyway, we are recording in our studio in Southern Illinois today. We haven't done a live in a couple weeks Been too busy to get that together. But we are recording on Memorial Day weekend. Yep, that's what this is. This is Memorial Day weekend.
Sunny:Hey Bruce, what's Memorial Day?
Bruce:I'm glad you asked. It is the day that the federal government of the United States has set aside as a holiday to honor and mourn the US military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. And yes, I read that. You don't think I could say that that good if I didn't read it. But it's usually observed on the last monday of may and memorial day is also considered the unofficial beginning of summer.
Sunny:You get that unofficial so we are going to celebrate and honor the guys that went out and gals that gave their life for this country.
Bruce:Yep, you got that right. That's exactly right, and we want to honor them. Right now we're going to hit a moment of silence, so don't go away. It's going to go silent for a minute wow, that was cool. Yeah, you didn't know I could do that, did you?
Sunny:No, I didn't know you could go silent like that.
Bruce:That must have killed you to be quiet, oh you sounded like Shannon Well maybe she knows what she's talking about. Maybe, and speaking of her, it was her birthday this weekend also, so we're going to wish her a happy birthday on the podcast.
Sunny:And Shannon happy birthday. Wow, You're just all going today, aren't you?
Bruce:You betcha, you betcha. Anyway, let's get back to the show.
Sunny:I thought we was doing the show.
Bruce:Uh, I guess we are.
Sunny:Boy hey.
Bruce:You're a little silly, no, I'm just. Uh, I don't know. We're here, that's what counts, right.
Sunny:Yes, that's what counts.
Bruce:So I hope everybody has a good, enjoyable Memorial Day weekend. This is usually the day people like to cook out and start their summer activities. The pools usually open up after Memorial Day weekend. No telling what the weather's going to be. It's supposed to be cloudy but not raining today and I haven't looked forward to see what the rest of the weather is. We may do that when we come to the weather portion of the episode, but it was 64 last time. I looked outside and looked at our internal uh gauge or thermometer that reads outside inside, if you know what I mean. It's wireless, but that's what it read and that's been an hour or so ago, so there ain't no telling what the temperature is now. However, it is cloudy, you can see the cloud cover and it's kind of dreary looking yeah, it was nice yesterday and I seen Bruce mowing oh that poor guy.
Bruce:Well, at least I finally got a little bit of the mowing done. I got more to do today.
Sunny:Well, I'll watch you through the window.
Bruce:Oh, you're like everybody else around here, but okay, that's fine. Hey, let's talk about earthquakes. Want to?
Sunny:Yeah, let's do that. It's been a while.
Bruce:Actually it's been a while. Actually it's been uh, I don't remember. I don't remember the dates, but we had prepared a short report and we tried to record it. On tuesday, which was what, may the 20th, and my that was an extra day I had off and I had to go to the eye doctor and he put that stuff in my eyes and then they just kept getting wider and wider.
Bruce:By the time I got home I was having trouble enjoying focusing on anything, and when I say enjoying it, it was just too bright. A white piece of paper was too bright. So I I tried to do a recording and do all that and it took me quite a bit of time to get it all together. Then we got interrupted, had to go somewhere, so it never hit the uh, the true state of an episode. Uh, it kind of got canned. So we're here today. There you go. So on may 20th I actually got to write down the earthquake report and then I've got the report today. So we're kind of going to combine those and see if anything significant has happened. What do you think about that, sonny?
Sunny:I think it's a long ways around just saying you got numbers from the 20th and today.
Bruce:Okay, I guess it was, but we tried. How about that? Yeah, we, we did, we got it recorded, sort of never got an end to it yeah, that would have been interesting if we would have just uh, I didn't have time that evening to upload it but if we would have uploaded a non-ending podcast, it would just shut off. Because that's what happened we hit pause on the recording and had to go do some things and never got back to it, or that would have been a bad episode.
Sunny:I spared you that well before you do the earthquake report, I just one more time want to hope everybody has a great Memorial Day and if you're listening to this after that day, which you probably will it'll come out on Memorial Day holiday, which is Monday. We hope you enjoy it. We hope you've had a safe weekend and a great week afterwards. That's from the Sunny here on the podcast. Don't forget, it's Sunny.
Bruce:All right, you just had to get a good word in and I appreciate that that was very uplifting and, yes, we hope it's safe and a good holiday and the following week is great also. And so let's go to the report. This is uh, in case you've never listened to us before, I'll bore you to death people that have. This is the earthquake report. We go back seven days and look at the numbers. We look at all the earthquake magnitude, every one of them. Then we look at the 2.5 and over magnitude earthquakes for the last seven days and then we look at the 4.5. And in the past we've noticed kind of a pattern. I guess you could say it's not always accurate, but that the earthquake total will increase or go down. If it increases, a lot of times the bigger numbers 6.0 and over that's the ones we read off will go down a little bit, and the higher numbers are usually in the 2.5 and lower. And if the low numbers go down all the magnitude numbers that count goes down, then the 6.0 and above that we name out, name off them, usually go up. So I don't know what that means for sure you know they say if you get more little earthquakes it's relieving the tension for the big ones, but it really acts like it's springing back to shoot off, because a lot of times we have a lot of smaller ones and then there'll be less and then we'll have a lot of big ones. So I'm not sure if that works the way they think it does. We like to keep track of it, though.
Bruce:The Bible does say that there'll be earthquakes in various places, and it never does say that that's be earthquakes in various places. It never does say that that's the Holy One, the Father's work. I kind of tend to think that it's man's work. There's a lot of conspiracies surrounding the fact that man has been causing this. By the way, they dig tunnels and dig mines and stuff like that and abuse the earth, and there's a lot of conspiracies that they have here. They have technology or somebody does according how you believe and that technology can cause earthquakes.
Bruce:So put all that together and what I'm saying is it's never saying that I'm going to do that the father says it just says that they're going to happen. So it could be left to say that the people that saw the future may have seen some of man's destruction upon this earth, not the judgment of the father, which is coming. But until then, we're going to reap the rewards of what we do, and that's enough of that. Uh yeah, First quick report rewards of what we do, and that's enough of that. Uh yeah, earthquake report. Okay, earthquake report. We are going to do the earthquake report now. So this is as of today, 5, 24 May, the 24th, when we're recording.
Sunny:We're going to look back seven days and count all the earthquakes and normally I let her sunny guess, but I'm just going to read it off to you, okay? Oh man, I want to guess?
Bruce:All right, go ahead. We didn't talk about it, so go ahead. All right, tell me what the last report was. Well, if we look at the last report which we did not get to finish, it was 5-20 last Tuesday and there was a total of 1,953. And the time before that was let me get my paper here 511, and there was 1,923 earthquakes, all magnitudes. That report so 1923, and 520 was 1953. So, sonny, what was today's total of all magnitudes?
Sunny:um it went up, so I think it's going to go back down. So I'm going to say 1900 and lower somewhere in there.
Bruce:Okay, well, that was actually a good logical guess, because normally it goes up and then it goes back down. But I got to tell you, sonny, it went up.
Sunny:Oh no, that's bad in two ways one, that I didn't get it, and two because that means more people probably had to suffer yep, that's true in both cases.
Bruce:Uh, when we have a more earthquakes, usually there's more damage and more suffering, and we don't like to see that, but that's what happened. It was 1953 the last time and today the total was, when I looked it up, 1983. So I think that's very weird how that for the last three reports it's ended in three. Weird, weird, weird. On 5-11, let me read them again as soon as I get the page back On 5-11, it was 19-23 total, all report 1-9-2-3. On 5-20, it was 1-9-5-3. 19-53. And today it was 1-9-8-3. Now how weird is that? Three days and three reports all ending in three? I don't know how to even take that coincidence hey, bruce, what do you got in your cup?
Bruce:I just seen you take a sip oh, you caught me and had to call it out, didn't you? I have actually in my star wars mug. I've already drunk my tea for the day. I actually threw a cup of coffee in there. I don't drink much coffee, but you know they say that it helps with headaches because it opens up your arteries. So I got to thinking one day, if it opens up your arteries, I got medicine that's supposed to do that too. So I've been drinking maybe a cup of coffee sometime during the day to help with that process, hopefully. I don't know, there's no really good studies on it, so I don't know if it even makes a difference. But I do know a lot of times when you're having a migraine, a little bit of caffeine helps and they say that's because it opens up the blood vessels and stuff in your brain which you know, I just got rock, so it don't really matter.
Sunny:Oh boy, I thought it was concrete Right.
Bruce:Well, it could be. I've been called hard-headed several times in my life.
Sunny:I can see it.
Bruce:Okay, well, we won't go anywhere like that, but anyway, to answer your question, sonny, it was a cup of coffee that I was sipping on when you called me out.
Sunny:Ha Caught, you, didn't I?
Bruce:Well, you always catch me, but you didn't have to tell the whole world that I was sneaking a sip of coffee.
Sunny:There you go. You just took another one, folks.
Bruce:Yep, all right. So the total was 19. Oh, let me get it up here 1,983. And that was an uptick. The total was 19,. Oh, let me get it up here 1983. And that was an uptick.
Bruce:On the oil count and I don't know if you've caught me saying this before, but the earthquake amounts has increased over the years I'm trying to find a way to go back and look at the older reports to give you kind of a figure so you know what's happening. I'm going to have to work on that. I'm off on some vacation time this week and although I've got a long list of things I want to do or need to do, one of the things I've got on there is try to find that report so I can show us all what's happening and maybe we'll have more of an understanding. But anyhow, 2.5 and over earthquakes today was 268. And if we go back to last Tuesday which was not quite a week, it was only four days it was 254. So it's up over that, which is kind of throwing that theory out the door, because usually they don't go up on that count. It's the ones below that. That increases this very smaller earthquakes, but that number increased also. And on the 11th I'm turning my page again. On the 11th it was 310.
Bruce:Now see there's, and if we really go the way I normally do, we go back not just four days, but go back to the last time I reported on it. So this was showing more what was going on. So the numbers total on this report was lower, 1923, and the 2.5 was 310. They were higher and this time they were what, let me say again 268. So yeah, they was quite a bit higher than this one, and the 4.5 this week was 90. So so seven days from today, or seven previous days, the total number of 4.5 and over was 90. On Tuesday they counted back seven days and it was only 85. And on 5-11, we counted back and it was 101. 511, we counted back, and it was 101. So there again, lower, total, higher numbers.
Bruce:And it works out that way. If I go back just a few days, it kind of throws it off about seven days and you see this happening. It's almost like there's a pattern there. If you go back a lot more, it don't always hold to that pattern. If you don't want to go back a few days and do the report, it's not quite right. So it seems like there's a seven day period that we're cycling through and I'm going to keep a closer eye on that and see what happens. I may start writing down a report in between and see what that does. But I know that the seven-day report, if you don't cycle back a full seven days so like when I did it Tuesday and now I'm doing it, that's not a full seven days, so it's kind of not working out right, I think.
Sunny:I don't know, but I think Don't think too much, you'll get us all confused, bruce.
Bruce:Well, that's very true. I will get us all confused, including me and the 6.0 and over. I usually read them out loud so you know where they're getting hit, because that's the ones that's really most dangerous and they cause the most damage and a lot of loss of life or injuries. Last report, on 5.11, there was only one 6.0 and above and it was in the southeast Pacific Rim, west of Africa. And on Tuesday there was one, two, three, four major earthquakes. I call anything over 6.0 major and today there was only three. There was a 6.1 in the mcguire island, which I was going to look it up real quick. Okay, it's west of the mcguire island and the mcguire island, if you're looking map, that shows the united states, if you look west and south, it all the way southwest, it shows up down there. It's almost directly south of I think that's australia. Yeah, it's way down there, but that was a 6.1. And then the next one was a 6.2 and it was in greece. So greece has got hammered again. And now this one occurred on 521. And I forgot to tell you when that 6.1 occurred.
Bruce:Let me go back up. It occurred. Hello, my name is Bruce. It occurred on 523. Hello, my name is Bruce. It's one of those islands that is actually on one of those fault lines and it happened on 5-20. So see, it would have been on that other report. I mean, look, oh, there it is Papua New Guinea 6.4. So on this one it shows it as a 6.55. I don't think they can get their numbers right. And the one in greece happened also and it was a 6.0. And they had another one it was a 6.2 yesterday. So there, there we go. That's the earthquake report.
Bruce:I don't know if it made any sense to anybody, but one of the things we do is we try to present that every time. We do a podcast episode, so you guys kind of get a feel of how much and how many no, how many earthquakes and how hard they're hitting. And there was a bunch of 5s and 4s and many of the 5s were, you know, like 5.8s, 5.7s which are getting close to having the same result as the sixes. We're in a time when the earth is shaking and baking, guys, and it's not a good thing. There's been a prophecy set up that well we're talking about earthquakes, that I listened to it and there was going to be three volcanic eruptions and I think two of them were on islands and one of them was in the middle of the ocean. Maybe, if I remember correctly Don't quote me on that, but three volcanoes were going to erupt and it was going to cause the oceans to rise, because one of them was in the middle of the sea and it was going to cause earthquakes.
Sunny:Do you believe in prophecy, Bruce? I'm not sure what to think about those.
Bruce:Well, sonny, it's according to where they're coming from, from. Let me talk a little bit about that. Um, there's all kinds of people on social media that's claiming to have the word of god and I'm quoting that with my fingers, you know, um and they're claiming that they've had visions. And I do believe the father Yahuwah talks to people and tells them things, and I'm not going to dismiss any of them because I don't know, I'm not there. But I also understand there is an understanding there and it's been said that we as a human race, or those controlling us, have the power and technology to shoot high frequencies and low frequencies into our brain to cause us to hear things and visualize things. So a lot of the visions or dreams I do truly believe are being objected into us by counterfeit means and maybe is a way to, you know, scare people, get them stirred up, get them worried, because when they're worried about all this stuff and they're, you know, easier to control and manipulate you don't stand firm when you're worried about stuff like this, and also there is a belief that they have to tell you right before they're going to do something. So, again, there are a lot of things that the bible predicts. I'll put it that way. But a lot of that is not told to be by the father. So you have to assume if the father doesn't say I'm going to do this, then he's saying it's going to happen. Then who's going to do it? Probably mankind. Now there is a point in the word that says my judgment and when that happens, you're not. You're not going to believe and be able to stand against that. You're going to know that the judgment has come, but these other things I have to have. Uh, I think my thought process is a lot of it. Man is doing Us.
Bruce:Common people that listen to this kind of podcast are. You know, we just work every day, go home, go to bed, get up, do it again, and our focus is on that. We're kind of running the rat race, you know, through the squares and the maze and we really don't realize that there is a world around us that is not as we perceive and it's not the same as our world, and there's a lot of things going on that probably would scare us. And there's a lot of things going on that probably would scare us, and I believe that part of the world that I'm talking about is manipulating our part of the world and we are so focused we have the blinders on, like they used to use on horses, so they wouldn't see what was going on and scare them. They all they could see was in front of them, and I believe that's where we are now. These days we got so much concern and worry social media, you know, news, oh gosh. The news is so good at manipulating your emotions, but I think that's, that's what hat. What is happening.
Bruce:But back to the prophecy. I don't remember if there's a man or woman or the exact wording. I just put it back in the back of my mind because I heard them say that there was going to be three volcanoes erupt and I think they're going to be close to the same time. Probably one will erupt and it'll cause the other ones to go, and they were going to be in the ocean or on islands in the ocean, which is going to cause a major sea level change and a lot of other earthquakes.
Bruce:And why I mention that is it is coming out in the news now that there is supposedly some volcano I think there's one off of the Oregon coast. Is that right? I'll have to check on that but that they're predicting is going to erupt soon and it's being said uh, it's according where you hear it or what you listen to, but it the scientists predicted soon, by the end of this year, and now I'm hearing by june the 5th. So I don't know if somebody took that scientific study and ran with it and added their own date, or some more scientists come out and added a date. If you're interested in this kind of stuff, I I ask you go research it for yourself, find out what's going on. But anyhow, for this episode, I'm just telling you they have said that there's going to be a volcano erupt soon, maybe the june the 5th, if that story, part of that story, is true, which makes me think of that prophecy I heard. So you know again, did somebody know that they was going to start that volcano eruption, create that mess?
Bruce:so they told somebody and that person told you know everybody and they were, you know, warning us that it's getting ready to happen, so they could laugh at us, I guess. Or is that the Father saying prepare, pray, repent. I don't know. Leave it to you guys to discuss.
Sunny:All right, well, bummer man, let's get something good going on.
Bruce:All right. Well, yeah, we try to do this podcast and the episodes to be uplifting, so if that's a downer to you, I'm sorry. This is Memorial Day weekend. If you're hearing this afterwards, which you probably will, I hope that you enjoy the rest of the week. Don't get bummed out. Okay, Just be alert and we watch. This should segue into the weather.
Sunny:Oh yeah, that's not a smooth segue, though I know what you're going to talk about well, it's.
Bruce:It's a segue, though, anyway. Um, we, we watch, uh, ryan hall y'all and uh, if you don't know what I'm talking about, go on youtube. Look up ryan hall y'all and he does a podcast or not podcast, a youtube, and it's live. He does a weather report, usually every few days, especially if something's getting ready to build up or break. He does a live and he'll stay on as long as they'll let him. Usually, I think it's what 11 hours, but he'll report on the weather that's happening the like tornadoes. He doesn't winter too if there's winter, winter ice storms and snow storms, but this time of year, with all the tornadoes and the bad thunderstorms, he's on there a lot. So I want to give him a shout out for being there, uh, being part of it, and there's been a lot of questions about some of the cuts and it's shorting the national weather service and they're not doing good at getting announcements out.
Bruce:And even if they did, a lot of people don't have their weather radios and they're not alert to that. They're in bed. A lot of these tornadoes hit when they're in bed and if you're watching Ryan Hall y'all on YouTube during a storm and your power goes out, chances are you're not going to be able to watch that unless you've got a phone there and the signal may be gone, because that storm system has a tendency to interrupt signals. Either way, it's good to know you've got something heading your way. Either way, it's good to know you got something heading your way.
Bruce:He usually sees it long before it gets to your town because he's watching it throughout the whole country and he's called out a few tornadoes heading to people an hour or so before it actually gets there, before it actually gets there, and then when it actually hits, uh, he's called them out before that. The national weather service has actually issued a warning. So there you go, uh. Why I'm saying that is it's worth hooking up with him and watching that, following him on YouTube. Even if you don't normally watch YouTube, I suggest you follow him. And that's all I got to say about that.
Sunny:There you go again, all you got to say about it. Where's that from?
Bruce:I'm not going to tell you.
Sunny:You don't remember the movie, do you?
Bruce:No, as soon as you ask me that thought process that says this remember the movie, do you? No, as soon as you ask me that thought process that says this is the movie it just. I see the guy sitting on the bench talking to the other person and the name just popped out of my head when you asked.
Sunny:I'm glad I can do that.
Bruce:That's funny not so funny when you're on this recording. I guess I could stop it for a minute and think about it. All right, it's forrest gump. There you go. Are you satisfied?
Sunny:yeah, yeah, yeah, you've used that a couple different times.
Bruce:Yeah, I know I think it's been said before. He ever did it in that movie. That was kind of a common phrase around that time when he actually used it. It wasn't a brand new phrase, but anyway, yeah, so we're going to go into the weather now, our local weather. Oop, I hit my uh, hit my microphone cable. I don't hope it wasn't too loud on your end, but we are talking about you know weather and if you're living here with me, listen to this, you know what it's like. It's been. You know pretty common, but for people not living in this state you may not know, but southern Illinois has got pretty common weather with Missouri and Kentucky, indiana, arkansas. There are some differences, but I still like to report on it and it changes hour to hour sometimes, but it's been really crazy around the United States Last Friday. Well, last week we had some, you know, decent days and then it rained again, kind of back and forth. However, friday it really hit. There was a whole bunch of bad thunderstorms, heavy-duty tornadoes storms, heavy-duty tornadoes.
Sunny:Oh yeah, we watched Ryan haul you all Friday night and we got to see that.
Bruce:That was bad. Yeah, it was. We got to watch the storms come into different. It totally missed Mount Vernon. I'm happy for that because we was on the outskirts and I was worried. But uh it, we had earth, earthquakes, hello, tornadoes and bad thunderstorms in uh arkansas and uh oklahoma, indiana, kentucky. We had a bad tornado in kentucky, a bad one in st louis, missouri, a bad one in marion, illinois, that night and uh it was, it was bad. I mean, there was all that from texas up. A big wide swap really got hit and then a few days later got hit again and uh swap really got hit. And then a few days later it got hit again and Colorado got hit. What Monday, I don't remember.
Bruce:Now I need to start a journal on all these storms and weather reports because it's getting crazy. But Colorado had some bad ones, I think Kansas had some more Tennessee, but Colorado had some bad ones and I think Kansas had some more Tennessee. I mean, just pretty well, mid-america has been hammered all the way from Texas up and it's been wild. And I ask you again to pray for all these towns and cities that's been hammered by these earthquakes and by these storms. And let's not forget nobody mentions it anymore but Hawaii, that just basically burned it to the ground and you're not hearing any of what's happened to those people. That, uh, it's just, it's just terrible. And we got uh, the people up there, carolina, north carolina, uh, just all over the place there's disaster and people suffering. We need to keep them in prayer and I again state if you don't believe in prayer, sit down and think positive about these people. Send positive thoughts to them, because it's important that we think and talk, especially talk positive, not negative. Bring up the level of positiveness in this world. All right, thank you.
Bruce:All right, the weather it is today 65 degrees and they're saying partly cloudy, and it has 64% humidity, 5-mile-an-hour winds and the air quality is 38. Five mile an hour winds and the air quality is 38. Again, this is local for today, which you won't be hearing this till later on. But the ragweed pollen is still moderate or high. The mold count is low and the tree pollen is low, but that ragweed pollen, that's what's killing me. The last couple weeks, um, it's been a moderate to high the pollen count and it's yucky. Uh, I'm hoping, uh, hoping it clears up a little bit. I I do do a little bit better the last few days, so I'm thinking it's getting better. But they're saying for the day chance of rain and 61% today, and Sunday 88% and Monday 84%. And then wait a minute Tuesday they're saying 91% here in the local area of southern Illinois. Isn't that great? Rain, rain, rain, fun, fun, fun yep, fun, fun, fun.
Bruce:So tell us about phoenix, arizona, bruce all right, phoenix, arizona, is this city and state that I picked to compare our weather to them, because they have a little bit of different air. It's different, that's all I got to say. Their humidity today, right now, is 16%, the wind is 8 miles an hour and the air quality is 31, which is a good. Ours is 38. There's a little bit high, but I always said it's probably from the dust. Um, because they are uh on in the desert area, I I will have to pick. Uh, I wonder if I can put three on this report. If I could, I'll try to pick somewhere in Europe or somewhere totally different to describe it.
Bruce:Our 10-day outlook here is not very good. Like I said, chance of rain pretty well up until Wednesday, and then it's going to be partly cloudy, partly cloudy, and Friday is going to be showers in the morning again. Now, next Saturday and Sunday is supposed to be sunny. Now, anytime they give extended outlooks like that, it changes almost daily, so don't hold anybody to that. I'm just kind of giving you an idea. But that's our local weather. Folks, if you like Southern Illinois' weather, come and visit us. If you don't like all this rain and pollen, stay away. Oh, boy.
Bruce:Yeah, that's a way to run them off, isn't it?
Sunny:Yeah, it is Big deal. You're going to have to scare more people better than that.
Bruce:Well, truthfully, I'm not trying to scare anybody, I just want them to know what they're getting into. I'd like to take a moment to do a shout out to, uh, real king workers. I'm going to be going on vacation this week, but I hope you guys are going to still be there doing the work. So stay strong, stay hopeful, enjoy the days. We appreciate you being there, being with us. I, uh, I hope you have a good week. And another shout out I'd like to do is to the seven brood crew. They've got a bunch of new faces up there and they're all doing a good job and I appreciate it every time I go in there. So thank you. And one more shout out real quick is to the at&t crew here in mount vernon.
Bruce:Wife and I went in there and switched our phones over because we needed a better hot spot, and they treated us good. It took several hours to get all that all of our phones and things switched over and going and I told them I was going to shout them out, call them out for the work they did. Anytime somebody treats me good, I try to give them a little bit of notice and a heads up and a thank you on the podcast episode and I went in and asked two of them if I could use their names. It was a combined effort and I didn't see the other people that was there to help us again. I didn't see him again so I couldn't ask him if I could call him out by name, but I did see these two and they were the main ones as ones that helped us.
Bruce:So I would like to say hi to caden, thank you for your help, and sam, thank you for your help. I appreciate. Both of you have a great week and I hope I don't see you very much because that means we got phone problems, but I hope to see you again somewhere somehow oh, ain't you sweet I don't know about that, but I still want to thank them.
Sunny:People, persons well, we like to hear about the good news and the good people well.
Bruce:Well, I hope this episode and this podcast in a whole is uplifting and people enjoy it, even if I don't make any sense or have anything exciting to talk about. A couple things, if you guys have listened to the news or watched it, did you see the Mexican Navy ship that crashed into the bridge? What is up with all these bridge crashes? Uh, this was another one. Apparently there was two sailors killed, um, and the last report I seen, they didn't know what. What happened, what caused it? I just think this is weird. That's exactly what they say every time there's a bridge crashed into it. But, uh, another one happened.
Bruce:And then did you know that 23 and me was going to be sold? Yep, regenerative or regeneron, a biotech company, they're going to buy 23andme. Now, if you don't know what 23andme is or was, I guess I should say, since they're being sold, they do dna testing and they have all that information from those tests stored, locked away, and there's a lot of concern about what's going to happen. Now Regeneron, that biotech company, are promising get that. They are promising to keep your data, your DNA data, private. Yeah, so it's a big corporation buying them. What do you think? You think they're going to keep that information private. Hold those thoughts to yourself. You know, I gave a shout-out to my old work, yeah we all heard you.
Bruce:Well, I bring that up because I was talking to somebody else at work. I'm not going to mention no names, but we were talking about the planogram that was and that we were working on at the time. They were working on a new one. I was working on a new one and uh, yeah, we was talking about planogram. Now, if you don't know what a plan grammy is, you haven't worked in retail any. It is a plan that somebody in the upper class of the company has been paid to sit down on a desk and engineer a layout for the merchandise. So the merchandise goes here and it's displayed like this and this and this, and each shelf has a certain number of merchandise. It's just a merchandise tool.
Bruce:Well, we were discussing that it's the bible of the companies. I mean, all the companies use them. They call them different things, but it's the planogram or blueprint of merchandising. That's all it is. And we were sitting talking about how it's the law and the bible and don't, don't move any of the planogram. Do it exactly like it says, even though sometimes it don't fit. We comically were saying you know what would be the sign for the last days? We know what it is. Now all the planograms are not going to work. They're going to fall apart. Yep, that will be. We know we're in the last days. We come in and all the planograms are messed up. They won't work, they won't fit and nothing will work right. It's the end, that's sure. Yeah, there we go, guys, talk about signs and times when your planogram quits working. It's over.
Sunny:That's the end oh no, that's wow. I don't know what to say about that, bruce.
Bruce:Well, I don't either, but it was more comical if you'd been there. We was talking about all that and it was like, wow, we got to laughing. Anyway, I told them I was going to use that. Let's say Sonny goodbye to everybody Want to.
Sunny:Yeah let's do that. Goodbye to everybody want to. Yeah, let's do that. I want to tell everybody one more time that we appreciate you listening to the episode. I hope you didn't get too bored by Bruce's, whatever you call that thank you, sonny.
