• Buzzsprout voice memo feature and how listeners can use it
• Reactions to the proposed triumphal arch in Washington, DC and the pushback

Welcome And Running Jokes
BruceDid you know we have an itch?
CapellaWelcome to the ugly quacking duck. We like to joke that we're the worst podcast in the unknown universe, but we're pretty sure that's just our charm. We're here to offer a different perspective on the things you see every day, moving away from the usual noise to bring a little more light, perspective, and an uplifting spirit into your routine. Life is plenty heavy as it is, so we're just here to help you find a reason to smile. Thanks for stopping by.
BruceYep, it's that time again. It's time for the Ugly Quacking Duck Podcast. And I'm Bruce.
SunnyAnd I am Sunny. Hello, everyone. Welcome aboard.
BruceYeah, it's good to have everybody here. Uh, this is episode 145, in case you even care.
SunnyOf course they do, Bruce. They care a lot.
BruceOkay, well, I'm glad. Oh boy. So no matter where you're from, what time it is, we welcome you.
SunnyYep, that's a good thing to do. Bruce, I got a bone to pick with you. Oh, you do, do you? Yeah, before we get into anything else, what was that comment about?
BruceOh, that early first comment that I always do at the beginning of the show, uh, that was about your itch.
SunnyYeah, I thought that's what it's about. You're making fun, right?
BruceYeah, I am making fun. I'm not pointing out anything bad.
SunnyAlright, so I want everybody to know we don't have an itch. Bruce is making fun of me.
BruceWell, that's not quite true, but maybe a little bit true.
SunnyAlright, well, tell them why. Straighten it out. I'm not gonna take this, Bruce.
BruceOh, you're not gonna take this, huh?
SunnyNope. Straighten it out.
BruceAll right, before you get aggravated.
SunnyI'm not aggravated. I'm just having fun with you.
BruceAlright, well, yeah, before we uh get carried away, uh Sunny's talking about a time, and if you listen to uh last episode of the episode before, uh he got he told about how he got on my phone and he called into one of our podcasts that we listened to. See, Buzzprout, our hosting company, has introduced a new thing where you, if you click on our details on our podcast information, there's a link right at the top of the list, and it will let you go in and you can send us a text message, which has always been there, or you can now send us a video, or not a video, hello, a recorded voice memo, which is awesome. And it's uh in their system, so we won't see who's sending it or anything like that. And we have the option to send you a text or an email or something back uh to get your permission to use it or whatever. Uh but he called in to this uh podcast uh that we listened to, which is put on by Buzz Sprout or hosting page. It's called BuzzCast.
SunnyYeah, yeah, Buzzcast, and it was great.
BruceOkay, yeah, okay. So that was a couple weeks ago, I think he called in, and lo and behold, they talked about him, yeah, about Sunny, um, calling in, and they played part of his call live on their recording. So it was kind of fun for him.
SunnyKind of fun, it was awesome, Bruce. Awesome. I got to hear my own voice on another podcast. That was great.
BruceAll right, yeah. You uh you were so excited that day. Oh my gosh, it was crazy, people. It was crazy.
SunnyBut the best part is, Bruce, we made them laugh.
BruceYou're right. That was the best part. They actually laughed. Uh, I thought that was good. Um, I really enjoyed listening to their um podcast. The BuzzCast is more about podcasting and what they got going on, and we like listening to it every week. And uh we got to hear them laugh about us, and that was great. So uh the people at BuzzCast, thank you for uh putting Sunny on, and thank you for laughing. Uh that's what we're about. We uh like to see people get a little bit of a different feel for this life instead of the same old yuck. I mean, that's all we can say. Yuck. So that's what our podcast is more about than anything, and we go a long way around to get there, and sometimes we don't make it, but that's what it's about. So we really appreciate you guys. Yeah, thank you.
SunnyYeah, thank you. Let's play it, Bruce. I got a copy of it. Let's play it.
BruceNo, let's don't, but I will tell people that are listening that if they want to hear that, go to BuzzCast Podcast. Uh just look up BuzzCast, and uh the episode is called How to Stand Out in a Crowded Podcast Niche. Um, if you like podcasting and you're interested in that kind of thing, follow them guys because they've got a lot of good, good common uh advice, uh things to help. They have call-ins and they have a lot of information and they're fun. They're not just serious. I mean, they they do a lot of work on their episode to bring down you know the bad stuff, but it is a good episode or a podcast, I'm sorry, and they make a little bit of fun, they leave a little bit of their life in there, so it's got a little bit of humor, a little bit of real life, so it's not a dull podcast, and I really enjoy it. And there you go. That's our soapbox for the day.
SunnyNot really, Bruce. You got lots of soapboxes.
BruceYeah, I do.
SunnyYeah, you do. That's all you've got. They're piled up in the corner six foot tall.
BruceOh, good grief. Now you're exaggerating.
SunnyI know. It's fun.
BruceOkay, well, let's get on with the show.
SunnyGet on with the show!
The Triumphal Arch Debate
BruceAll right, we're gonna get on with the show. All right, Sunny, are you ready for this uh news I found?
SunnyOh yeah, let's go for it.
BruceWell, okay. I'm not sure you're gonna say that once I tell you what the article's about. But uh, you know, I normally don't like to bring in any kind of political news. But then again, I do it every now and then, right?
SunnyYeah. Only when it suits you.
BruceWell, in that the way it everybody does. But anyhow, I run across this article on the APnews.com and it's uh entitled, Are You Ready for This? Maybe I shouldn't tell you, but I'm going to. A federal agency approves concept for Trump's plan for a triumphal arch in Washington. Okay, just let that set in for a second. Think about it. Wait a minute. Here we go.
SunnyOh, you're just bound and determined to make somebody mad, aren't you?
BruceWell, no, I don't want to make anybody mad, but wow. A triumphal arch in Washington. Yep. So the article goes on and states that it's uh a plan, a diagram, uh, a design that President Donald Trump has uh done and built, and he's wanting to put this in the one of the entrances in the National Nation's capital. And um it's to leave a lasting mark uh uh anyway, I shouldn't laugh, but not only is he wanting to build a or is building a White House ballroom, um, but now he's wanting to do this triumphal arch, including a naturally occurring not lions on the bottom or on the base, and then also a large figure on top and eagles. Um now the uh there's been a lot of pushback on the lions because they're not natural occurring beasts in North America, and because of the height that the figures and the eagles will present um on top, uh I think it's gonna be like 250 feet tall, and they're saying it's gonna block the sight line between Lincoln Memorial and Arlington House of uh the National Cemetery. So there's been a group of veterans that have sued the federal court to block the construction. So there's a lot of argument against it. I guess I'll put it that way. So it's pretty weird. That's all I got to say. Nobody likes change, so that's change. But is it change for good or is just change so this gentleman can have his way?
SunnyOh, that's a m mm mm mm mm smooth way of putting it, Bruce.
BruceWell thank you, Sunny, but uh yeah. I seen that and I just kinda had to giggle to myself. President Trump is having a triumphal arch built. Isn't that kind of comical?
SunnyNot really.
BruceAlright, so maybe it's not. With everything that happens in this world, you just have to take it with a grain of salt, kinda giggle it off, laugh it off, um, and don't let it soak in and irritate you and eat at you because life is just not good when you do that. Just, you know, we gotta have a little bit of fun. Maybe? Um, okay. This uh podcast is brought to you by the deep-seated weird minds of Bruce and Yep, that's right. And if you find anything intain entertaining on this episode or any of the episodes, we want to thank you and come back and see us again. And if you find anything disdaining to you or mind and disheartening, we have a special thing for you to do. It's called Turn Us Off. Don't listen. Okay? That's your hint.
SunnyOh, Bruce, you're being silly.
BruceYes, I know. I like it. But seriously, uh, we're here to entertain you, and if you don't like us, you don't have to listen and get mad. Just turn it off, go somewhere else. Uh that's the easiest thing to do. You know, you have the power. The power. And something I didn't mention before, and I should go back and mention that while I'm remembering it, but uh I was telling you about BuzzCast uh from Buzzsprout and how to find their podcast. Well, if you go to our podcast, um, and there should be a place on there that says the pod row or uh the podcast that we love. Um that's what it says, I think, on our e uh web page, and I think on BuzzSprouts page it says podro. Either way, there are lists of podcasts that we listen to, and Buzzcast is on there, so that's an easy way to find it. But it you should be able to look it up and it should come right up. But there you go, folks.
SunnyAll right, Bruce, one more time. Let's go on with the show.
BruceI thought we were.
SunnyWell, let's go on.
BruceAll right, we're going to talk a little bit about earthquakes. Uh, we're gonna give the seven-day earthquake report. And because we did not do a episode on last Friday when we normally do our seven-day report, I did record it on paper, so I'm gonna go back and visit that right now.
SunnyRight now? You mean right this second?
BruceYeah, that's what that means.
SunnyOkay, well, I wanted to make sure you was meaning what you said.
BruceAnd why are you interrupting me?
SunnyBecause now you can't say it was right now.
BruceOh good grief, Sunny. Okay, we're back to the Okay, mercy. All right, so the 24th, which was last Friday, uh, we did our seven-day report on paper. We didn't do a podcast uh episode. So I'm gonna review those numbers for everyone that's listening. We always do the all magnitude count for the last seven days from that date. So that was twenty-three ninety-five, two thousand three hundred and ninety-five all-magnitude earthquakes, which gave us a twenty-three point nine five percent. Uh 2.5 and over earthquakes was three seventy-nine, which gave us a fifteen point eighty-two percent, and the four point five and over earthquakes was a hundred and twenty-three, which was a little bit higher, but not really major. Uh last couple weeks they were lower than that, which gave us a five point fourteen percent. And then we had two six and over earthquakes. That's six and over multitude or magnitudes. One was a seven point four, and it was uh in Japan. It was on four twenty. Yeah, you heard me right, a seven point four magnitude earthquake. That's massive, massive. Keep those people in your prayers. And then we had a six point one, and it was north northeast of Tonga. Um I'm not sure how to pronounce that word, H-I-H-I-F-O. Uh uh good luck on that. Which gave us a total of two and gave us a total of one point six three percent. So the numbers are pretty consistent. I am shocked because last year the way the numbers were adding up, I thought by looking at uh I won't even go into that, but I figured this year would be crazy. But it hasn't been so far, so that's a good thing. Very good thing. We've been blessed. And now I'd like to take us back seven days for another report. And today's 429, 2026. It's a Wednesday, and I want to take us back seven days just for the episode. Now I'm gonna go ahead and record my normal seven days on Friday, and I will report that on my next episode. But today, we had going back seven days from today, two thousand one hundred and fifteen all-magnitude earthquakes, which gave us twenty-one point fifteen percent. We had three hundred and forty-four two point five and over earthquakes, which gave us a sixteen point two six percent. And then a four point five and over was ninety-eight, which gave us a four point six three percent. And I just use those percentages to kind of give you an idea of where you're landing, so you kind of get an idea compared to the actual numbers. Uh it don't reduce the amount of numbers or make them greater because the numbers are really what hurts people's, destroys their property. That's what's really important, not really the percentage, but the percentage gives you an idea.
SunnyYeah. People need to realize this is after the fact.
BruceYeah, you're right, Sunny. It's definitely after the fact. It's just kind of a way to look back, realize the damage has happened, say a few positives. Uh you know, if you don't believe in prayer, that's fine. But believe something about being positive for your thoughts towards people that's in that kind of problems and um not just that, but weather-wise of sicknesses. I believe in prayer. I believe in positive thinking. They go together. But uh, if you don't, maybe you don't want to listen to our podcast anymore. All right. But there was one 6.1 earthquake, and it was uh also in Japan. Now, um I don't want to try to pronounce that name where it was located, but luckily, many of the earthquakes are out in the ocean. Now, this one wasn't, but that reduces the damage and the people that are hurt.
SunnyAll right, Bruce. Thank you for doing that. That was kind of uh, I don't know what.
BruceYeah, that 7.4 just kind of broke my heart when I read that uh last week and wrote it down. I was thinking, uh, I don't even know I don't watch news much anymore. I read articles on the internet, and most of those you can't trust. I mean, we live in a world where AI is taking over and uh people are using AI to produce fake news, I mean real fake news, and face fake pictures to go along with their news, so it's hard to determine what you're seeing and hearing, but uh I'm not hearing much about these earthquakes. There's so many other things happening. We got a war going on. I don't even want to talk about that, but again, pray for these people. Send positive thoughts out. And anyway.
SunnyYeah, we don't want to bring people down.
BruceWell, yeah, that's not what this uh podcast is about. It's about making fun of the world and bringing some happiness to you.
SunnyAre you trying to sing?
BruceNo, not at all.
SunnyGood, because I don't want to run all of our listeners off. They'll hear that and go, oh my!
The End Of The Penny
BruceClick. Yeah, they will. That'd be the one thing that they would turn off is my singing. All right, let's talk a little bit about the penny.
SunnyThe penny? Didn't they get rid of that?
BruceWell, uh, that's a funny story.
SunnyOh, ha ha ha ha.
BruceYeah, not that kind of funny, but it's a weird story, strange, uh a little bit odd, and nobody's even talking about it as far as I know. But the penny, they quit minting or creating, however you want to say that, last year. Um they they minted and pressed the last penny. So as I reported one of the other episodes I did, there was like 300 to 350,000 pennies left in circulation. But all of a sudden, all the businesses are not going to take pennies no more. They're gonna they're rounding up, and I think that's a scheme to get more money out of people, but they're rounding up your, you know, instead of getting rid of the odd Numbers, they're rounding up. So that way now our company is kind of doing that, but they're rounding down if it's under a certain amount, rounding up if it's uh uh over a certain amount. I think they'll just get rid of the extra round it all down. I mean if it's 99 cents, go to the dollar, yes, of course. But if it's anything under that, go down. Get rid of that odd number, but that's neither here or there, and I don't know if that's feasible. But anyway, they're all getting rid of the penny. They're not taking them. So I think the some of the banks wanted you to turn them in. What are they gonna do with them? Nobody's using them. I don't are they gonna have they got a plan to send them into the mints and melt them down to use them for something else? Or is somebody stockpiling them and gonna turn them in years from now worth more and more money than they ever been? Something weird's going on.
SunnyOh, you're always a conspiracy, period, period, period.
BruceNo, that's an exclamation point, exclamation point.
SunnyOh good grief.
BruceWell anyway, yeah, I I'm kind of uh looking at that with a big huge question mark. You've seen those cartoons where they do that. And I can understand that it's got too expensive to print a penny that's only worth one cent, right? And it costs a lot more to make 'em. But why throw 'em what's that old saying? Throw the baby out with the bath water? Yep, that's exactly it. Yeah. Why would you throw the penny out just because you quit minting it? Um three hundred thousand, three hundred and fifty thousand, and that's probably a low estimate. That's what they estimated that's left in circulation. They could be running those for years. Why quit using them? Explain that to me, somebody. Why quit using them?
SunnyOh, that'd be a good question. Why do you people think that we ought to quit you or they quit using them?
BruceYeah, there you go. Let's open that up for our listeners. You can go online, click on our link, and it says, you know, leave us a text or leave us a voicemail. There you go. Tell us why you think they wanted to quit using the penny. And uh all the companies are doing it, or most of them, and the banks wanted you to cash them in. They're not going to use them no more, they're not going to give them out anymore. Explain that to me. All right, there you go. But why I brought that up.
SunnyYeah, why did you bring that up?
BruceWell, because USA Today.com has an article that I run across and it says, the penny is already dead. Could the nickel next be next to go? And they have an article and they're talking about the cost of the nickel actually cost more to the United States than a penny did to make. Um, so it's we're losing more money is what they were saying. And in order for you to understand more, this is a quote from their article. It says, in fact, nickels are bigger losers. The mint spent 3.69 cents making every penny in 2024. For every nickel, the government spent 13.78 cents, a loss of nearly nine cents per coin. Added up and the government lost about 18 million minting pennies in 2024. 18 million. On the nickel, the mint lost eighty five million. Went from eighteen million to eighty five million.
SunnyThat is a huge jump. Wow. I didn't realize it was that expensive to make any money.
BruceSo there you go, folks. Um, it's costing us taxpayers 85 million to mint our nickels that we go out and we can't buy anything with. Um there was a time in history when you could buy uh bread, then coffee, and now nothing for a penny or a nickel. Now they do add up, but uh um you're just adding up the the cents, you're not adding up the pennies, because you can't hardly get those. What are you doing over there, Bruce? Well, I'm sorry about the uh uh the interruption and my pause. I um got my got my headset or headphones wire tangled up and I couldn't I could I got distracted, folks. But folks, I suggest that you go and look this article up. Again, it's on USA Today.com and uh it let me give you the exact name. The title is The Penny Is Already Dead. Could the nickel be next to go? Look that up and uh read the article, and they have a nice graph at the bottom of the article or in the middle uh comparing the penny expenditures and the nickel expenditures for 2005 up to 2024. Pretty good graphic. I don't know if I'll be able to copy that and send it to uh the chapter or not. And they are also a picture and a little article at towards the bottom, and it's called Mourners Hold Funeral for a Penny at Lincoln Memorial. And uh that was on December 20th, 2025. Uh they were dressed as U.S. President Abraham Lincoln with a casket. Um I don't know, I thought was cute, but anyway, I'm kind of a weirdo.
SunnyOh, you are definitely a strange cat.
BruceThank you, but I'm not a cat.
SunnyWell, we all know you're an idiot.
BruceOoh, burn. What does that make you, Sunny?
SunnyWell, as you know, I'm not telling anybody what I really am, but I'll let the listeners and you guess.
BruceAlright, yeah, I noticed on uh the buzzcast uh that they thought maybe you was a duck, but I guess that's because of our name for the podcast.
SunnyYeah, that probably is. Um, but our name come from your ham radio call, right?
BruceYeah, that's right. And there's an article on the uh webpage of the ugly quacking duck.com that talks about that. So if anybody's interested, that's where our name come from.
SunnyAll right, but my name comes from you, right?
BruceYeah, Sunny, yeah. That's because you always have brought a little bit of light into my little world that I have, and uh I was hoping that me and you could bring a little bit of light into the podcasting world.
SunnyOh, ain't you so sweet.
BruceOkay, what do you want?
SunnyNothing. I just still feel good because I mentioned me. Me, me, me, me, me.
BruceOkay. You'll come down one of these days. I hope you don't crash real hard.
SunnyYeah, it'll be alright.
Mars Rocks That Look Unreal
BruceOkay, let's go on. All right, for our next uh weird article, Peta Pixel. Yeah, you heard that right. PEDAPixel P-E-T-A-P-I-X e L dot com has an article running on it, and I found it. And it's about Mars Curiosity Rover captures photos of rocks that look like dragon scales. Yep, dragon scales.
SunnyAll right, so what's interesting about that?
BruceWell, I'll let you know, Sunny, that there are many, many, many people out there that don't believe that we've gone to Mars or the moon or even into space.
SunnyOh yeah, don't I know? I hear it every day.
BruceNow careful.
SunnyOh, I'm not being any more careful.
BruceOkay. Anyway, this article's interesting because they actually have a picture of these rocks and they look really cool. Now this they said they found these kind of rocks all over Mars, but this one crater that they have uh photoed, photo, took pictures of, that's a better way to say it, has many, many, many rocks that look like dragon scales. And looking at the picture, it really does. Um if you know what a dragon looks like, I really don't, because I've never seen one, but you know, that's so if you don't believe they actually take these pictures and they've been to space, and you don't believe in dragons, then you've got two hypothetical things coming together in fiction, and we're talking about it.
SunnyOh, that's a long way around that one. I yeah.
BruceIt is quite a bit of a circle, but that's what this article's about, and they've got a picture on there, and it looks cool. Now, if you're one of those believers that don't uh believe that we've been there and we are there now with the rover, um that means they've come up with this picture either AI generated or somewhere here on Earth. So I suggest that somebody go out and find where these pictures are coming from if they're not coming from space. What do you think about that, Sunny? Ooh, another challenge Yes, sir, a challenge Go find me a picture that looks like these rocks, and I'm gonna put this one on my chapter page for this chapter because it's cool. What if there was dragons that uh actually habitated the Mars surroundings and the Mars planet and they all grew up and died. You're silly. I know, but you just think about that. We may have Mars neighbors and they were dragons.
SunnyOh good grief. You really enjoying this nonsense, ain't ya?
BruceYou betcha. Um we gotta have something to look forward to in life, don't we?
SunnyUh yeah. It's called getting up in the morning.
Two Jokes Then Storm Talk
BruceAll right, there you go. Uh I'll go with that. But anyhow, check it out. Peta Pixel. I think that's how you say that, PETA PE Pixel. It's got the article on there. Well, let's talk a little bit about the weather, shall we? It's been a wild ride this week and last week. We've had a lot of storms, and it's been pretty nasty.
SunnyWait, wait, Bruce, I want to do something.
BruceAll right, Sunny. What do you want to do?
SunnyWe haven't told a joke in a while, so I want to tell a joke.
BruceAll right, let's tell a joke. Go ahead.
SunnyAll right, thank you. This is a quick and easy one. Why are teddy bears never hungry?
BruceUh, because they eat a lot?
SunnyNo, because they're always stuffed. Didn't it? Teddy bears stuffed.
BruceOh boy. Yep, that was uh something else. Let's do another one. Want two?
SunnySure. All right, hang on. Why did the daddy rabbit go to the bar the barber?
BruceI give up. Why did the daddy rabbit go to the barber? You almost got that one messed up, didn't you?
SunnyI did. Yeah, I have to admit it. I got tongue tied. I was looking at your face and it made me laugh. What?
BruceYeah. Okay, so why did the daddy rabbit go to the barber?
SunnyHe had a lot of little hairs.
BruceOh my. Oh my. I think it's that first one deserved this.
SunnyYou're just jealous because I'm funnier than you are.
BruceWell, you can say that all you want, but we know it's not true. I'm the funniest person here.
SunnyWhatever. You are a bum.
BruceYes, that I am. I am the biggest bum of all.
SunnyYep, I knew that was coming for sure.
BruceAll right, let's get back to the weather. That's what we were headed for. Um yeah, last week and uh this week, uh, the storms have been pretty bad. Tornadoes and thunderstorms. I know last week, I don't think I reported it, but I I think it happened afterwards, but I may have. But there was a bad outbreak of thunderstorms with tornadoes. Um, and I was watching Ryan Hall, y'all, from YouTube. If you don't know who that is, go look him up because I watched it. I really enjoy him. Uh anyhow, that's another s side story. There was uh when that night when I w went to bed, uh there was a hundred and eleven tornado warnings across the country, and there was probably more after I went to bed. And I don't remember how many thunderstorm warnings there was, but there was a bunch. And they had six fatalities, six deaths during that night, them storms. Uh there was a most of them was up north of the United States, northern Illinois, Wisconsin. Um it's it was crazy. And this week's been the same. And you know, we have beautiful weather, and then these storms roll in, and it's just got the right temperatures and moisture content, and it creates a lot of disasters. Um last night I guess there was one in Texas. There was a uh video on the weather channel that I got to watch, and anyhow, Mineral Wells, Texas got hammered. Uh it tore up a bunch of homes and businesses. I think they said four people were hospitalized, and many more was treated for minor injuries. So, and that's that's not the only town's been hit. I mean, there's been many. And there's been this is early spring. Um we've not quite made it to summer yet, and we're having bad weather. It's all across the United States. So again, we need to be saying our prayers for these people against these storms. And if you don't believe in praying, please just send them positive thoughts. Um and if you don't believe in that, you need to go look up some scientific evidence where they have proven that positive thinking makes a difference. Positive words makes a difference. They have done studies with plants, with ice, where they have spoken positive words and it's made plants grow better, made ice form beautiful crystals, and then they did the same thing with negativity, negative words, the crystals was horrible, uh, the ice didn't look good, and the plants actually started wilting. So go look up those experiments, and then if you still don't want to talk positive, then shut this podcast off. And what we like to do is talk about the weather as of right now in different areas of the country and the world. Yeah, I want to pick one. All right, which one do you want to do today?
SunnyI want to do um China.
BruceAlright, there you go. Go ahead, Sunny.
SunnyAlright, guys. As of right now, it is 50 degrees in Beijing, China. That's the People's Republic of China, to be technical. And uh they don't have rain right now, but it is 50 degrees. In case you're wondering, it's almost 4 a.m. there, and they have wind two miles an hour uh coming out of the north. Uh their humidity is 58%, and their air quality is 104. Very unhealthy for sensitive groups, you think? And their pressure's not falling 29.98 inches. I think that's what that is.
BruceAll right, Sunny. Thank you very much for that. We have just heard what China's weather is today, and I'm gonna do our local weather. And uh, according to the weather app, it is running at 64 degrees right now, and I have 69 here locally, so there's a little bit of difference between us and Mount Vernon. Not much, but a little bit. Now we have a wind at 10 miles an hour from the northwest. Our humidity is 51%, and our air quality is 32. Yep, that's right. 32 degrees, 32, and that's very good, folks, even though the pollen count's pretty high right now. In fact, let me read that to anybody here in southern Illinois. Okay, according to my phone, the uh tree pollen is very high. Grass pollen's low, mold is low, and ragweed pollen is low. So right now we just gotta worry about the tree pollen. And according to this thing, our um pressure is rising, and it's 1017 mm mm m bar, whatever they call that. According to the weather app, though, it's at 29.97 and falling, so they need to get their stuff together, don't they?
SunnyWell, you know, nobody can be perfect.
BruceYeah, and even the weather apps differ, so it's just according to what you're checking out. But there you go, that's the Mount Vernon, Southern Illinois location and sunny. Why don't you do Spoke Cannes, Washington?
SunnyAll right, Spokane Washington coming right up. Right now, it is 66 degrees there, and they have wind coming out of the west at four miles an hour, the humidity's 34%, air quality's 44, which is still good, and the pressure's 30.18 and dropping. There you go, folks. You heard it from us at the Ugly Cracking Duck Podcast.
BruceAll right, thank you, Sunny. Yep. We do our local and other weathers not because it's going to change a darn thing, but because it's kind of fun to look at, um, especially while you're listening to the podcast. And right now, Phoenix, Arizona is at 87 degrees, and they are um getting wind from the west at six miles an hour. The uh air quality. Is 34. The humidity, where did I lose that at? 9%. Woo! There you go. That's what it's like to be in the desert. Their pressure's at 29.87, which is falling. And I think that's the same thing we had. I think they have something wrong with their pressure readout because it's showing almost identical everywhere. Kind of weird, folks. Kind of weird. And that's Phoenix, Arizona. And one place left to read off, and that's Australian Plains. Yep, in Australia. It's at 61 degrees right now. They are at uh eight miles an hour from the north for the wind. Humidity is at 43%. Air quality is at 19, which is good. Man, they're low too. And the pressure's at 30.20 inches and going down. And I hope you enjoyed the uh weather report from the Ugly Cracky Duck Podcast. By the time you hear this, it's gonna be history.
SunnyGonna be history, he says. Yes, sir. It's history.
BruceI just clicked something on my uh recording uh program, and it just uh turned everything a different color, and I hope that's all it did to it. I hope its recording comes out. But it's the end of the line, folks. This is another episode Done Did. Done did it. Say how you are. We done did it, and it's over with, and we're gonna say goodbye, folks.

BruceAnd this is Bruce. Father, as we uh put this episode to a close and we uh edit it and put it up, I pray for your blessing and your power to be upon it, that it may touch people as they listen to it, and it will find those that are like-minded and it will somehow make a difference in their life. And I thank you for giving me the power and the authority to be able to do this. And we thank you for each and every person that listens. Whatever they're going through, I ask that you will touch their life, give them support, strength to overcome what is harassing them, and that you will remove it out of their life. We can't do anything on our own. And the sooner people realize that you're there to help, not to judge, not to torment. That's what somebody else does. And ask you for help that they'll be better off. So thank you again. Thank you for your blessings. And thank you for Sunny's uh recording getting on or his her phone his phone call getting on um that other podcast. We appreciate it. Thank you very much. It is so
