We take a moment to say good bye to Dolly Parton and Tim Curry. Who both passed on August 25th 2026 and had reached the age of 80. They touched many people in their own way. Back to the show, we discussed brain power and AI. It is real and fiction how our information are being progressed so quickly. Should we believe everything and how it is handed to us. Maybe we should look at who is in control of the information and maybe how they are using it for their benefit and our control. Maybe it isn't as cut and dry as you have been lead. BruceIt's been a very interesting week. Uh we enjoyed having a little bit of time in between uh recordings, and now we're back on the recording time schedule. Hopefully we'll be able to keep it. It is Wednesday, August the 26th. And um, Sunny, you've been doing all right?
SunnyYeah, I've been doing real good, Bruce. Enjoying this cooler breeze, uh, nice weather we're having.
BruceYeah, it's been nice. I got out and mowed the grass yesterday. There was a good breeze, so I didn't get overly heated. So the weather's allowed us to enjoy it a little bit more due to that rain that came in a few days ago and it dropped the temperature in the evenings, and the humidity's been a little bit lower. So, you know, even though the temperature shows high still, about 82, 85 uh most days, it's nicer.
SunnyYay, it is, it's been great.
BruceIt has. So, again, thank you everybody for tuning in. Um, we're gonna talk a little bit about sci-fi today, so don't turn away uh because it's not what you think.

Remembering Dolly Parton And Tim Curry
BruceBut uh before we get into any of that, I'd like to pause for a moment and uh take a pause, okay? And we want to cover a little bit of bad news, okay? And most of you have probably already heard this, and by the time you listen to this podcast, um it's it's gone past, and you're not even thinking about it anymore. But I still want to take a moment. Uh as of yesterday morning, we heard that Dolly Pardon had passed away. She was at 80 years old, and she was had been fighting uh cancer, apparently, and uh they announced that she passed, but that wasn't all. And then uh this morning there was an announcement that Tim Curry, uh, which is also, believe it or not, 80 years old, passed Tuesday night, August the 25th. He hadn't had a stroke back in 2012 and had some major brain surgeries. And I don't know if that led to that announcement last night or what, but there you go. We have two big celebrities, Dolly Pardon, everybody knows her. I remember the one thing I remember mostly about her was that she had done the series, TV series, uh, I think it was on the weekend, but I don't remember. She would end that show in the evening with I Will Always Love You. And that really stuck in my head every time I heard that song. And Tim Curry, he uh done uh very many movies. He done It, if you believe that. If you didn't know it, Tim Curry was in it. He was also in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. So I want to take a moment. I don't normally do this. Well, I've done it off and on a few times, but I want to take a moment and remember these people, remember what they've done, touch how they've touched their lives, and I want to ring the bell for them.
SunnyThat was sweet, Bruce. Very sweet.
BruceWell, it's kind of hard to kick it back into gear and get excited about life after news like that, but we have to. Unfortunately, we have to go on. Uh, whether it's somebody close to us, a friend, a family member, or somebody that we've grown up with uh during our life, we still have to go on. One of these days it's gonna be us, and they're gonna have to say goodbye to us while we go on to a better life, and that's just the way it is. But we're gonna go
Sci-fi Are You Sure
Bruceon. We want to talk a little bit about sci-fi. Everybody likes sci-fi?
SunnyWell, I think everybody thinks about sci-fi, not sure they all like it.
BruceWell, I like it. I've always enjoyed sci-fi because it kind of brings you out of the normal reality into uh a pretend reality where other things could be possible, and uh what I want to talk about is the brain, and I don't know if I can actually call it sci-fi. There is uh something going on with um the brain and what we are using it for, and without dragging it out too much, I want to talk about AI and using a artificial brain. That's right, you got it.
SunnyWait a minute. Artificial brain, so you're not talking about a human brain, are you?
BruceWell, yes and no.
SunnyOh, okay.
Movies About Artificial Life AND Robots
SunnyBruce
Explain. Okay. Well, it's uh we've always dealt with artificial intelligence, robots, um sci-fi's been very, very good about dealing with that area. I mean, it's been in movies forever. Uh, in fact, I went and looked it up, and there's a list of movies that dealt with robots and intelligent artificial life all the way back from the 20s. Um, Metropolis 1927, it dealt dealt with Maria's robot double back in the 20s, 20s, guys. Think about that. And then all the way up in the 70s, we had movies dealing with robots, Westworld. I don't know if anybody's familiar with that, but there's been on and on uh movies that has artificial life, robotic life in it. And my belief is that we have been uh showed a part of life through movies and sci-fi, even books, that has existed more so than we realize. And you know, us common people, we're kept in the dark because they want us to continue working, going home, sleeping, get back up, going to work, keeping the ball rolling, basically. So what's really going on is, you know, in another world or another um system that we're not akin to, we're not part of, um, we're kept in the dark. And as they have grown in areas, then they share some of that knowledge with us, but before they do, they give us sci-fi movies or books and such like that. And I believe that's happening now.
SunnySo what you're describing, Bruce, is a conspiracy about knowledge, and you're gonna lead us into some kind of weird thing about that conspiracy?
BruceOh no. I'm just explaining to you what I think's going on, but what I'm going to list is some stories, articles written about a human brain cell being used connected with AI.
BruceAnd it's been happening. Uh, they were writing about it a long time ago, uh, but I found some articles, and I'm I'll read portion of it to you. But again, back to the movies. Let's talk a little bit about the movies. Back in the 70s and the 80s, they had movies talking about artificial life, like Blade Runner, back in the 80s. Uh, they were replicants. I don't know if anybody's familiar with that sci-fi movie. They made a new one here recently, not real recent, but the story is about where replicants had kind of gone rogue. It's that's always seems to be what happens. They go rogue. But uh they had to be hunted down, and they were so well built and so well modeled that it was hard to discover who they were unless they got out of hand. And Robocop was another one where he was artificially enhanced after being basically shot to death, I think the story goes. So they took that human mind and put it in this artificial body. So again, the brain. There's all kinds of stories like that. And then in the 90s, there was more uh stories about artificial life. Uh look at Terminator. Terminator came out in the 80s and the 90s. That that shows about Skynet, an artificial intelligence that took over, started building robots that answered to it, that took over mankind. I mean it every day we've been told, are they stories that we're closer to than we realize, or are they stories dealing with people's fears, so they put them in books and st movies, or are they guidelines for people to follow? Who knows? A lot of people's dealt with that before and never have come up with a good answer, but we go b on into the 2000s, and there's a minority report that was dealing with artificial life, and they were using uh were the triplets or twins. And then Terminator 3 come out, iRobot and Matrix. There's so many, and then we had Tron, oh good grace, there's so many. I could name on and on. Basically, what I'm trying to say is since 1927, people have been dealing with robots, artificial life, and kind of persuading us through movies and books and stories what is going to happen when we deal with artificial life and uh what's gonna happen to mankind and the world as we know it.
Control Narratives And The Mandela Effect
SunnySo what we're dealing with is sci-fi real life um equation. Is that what you're saying?
BruceSimilar, yes. I'm uh dealing with what I have seen in the news, which makes me pause, especially when we are so happily going after this stuff. But I think to myself, now wait a minute, are we really happily going after this stuff, or are we being led down this path by some subversive people that are lying to us, subjugating us, and controlling what we see, hear, and think. Um, that's the way I tend to believe. I believe there's some select group of people that doesn't care about us normal people and what we live and how we live, all they care about is their prosperity, their gain, their power. And so they control the media and the influence that we get, so it leads us a certain direction. And when people pop up that kind of see that or speak differently from what they're wanting to or where they're wanting to go, then they get silenced and they disappear. Um, that way the the m waves go in the same direction, the thought process goes in the same direction. And I think that's what's happening. But anyway, I've got some articles I want to read and bring out what's going on now and what they're uh allowing us to see, and I believe that we're farther along than these stories are letting us. Now I'll give you a good example of what I why I believe that. Everybody knows the Mendela effect and how that a lot of people have remembered certain things in their history, but they go back and look up information on that and it's changed, and it's throwing people off like crazy. Well, I don't believe that is uh accident, coincidence, or we're in another universe. I really do not believe that. I believe what's going on is something or somebody in a controlling position, and I'll elaborate on that in a minute, but are going in and changing stuff, and what they're changing is our internet information, our history, which is easier for them to change and go in and delete and reorder stuff uh through the internet, and most people are going in and looking it up on the internet, looking up commercials, previous commercials on the internet. Um, and then when people are finding tapes, I've seen a video of a guy that had some tapes and some packages that showed that it was a certain way before. It's not now. Well, of course not. They went in and changed the companies, changed it. The people that it was in control of that area changed it. So that's all you're seeing now. It's history is easily changed if you're in control. That's what people have forgotten, man. So they're all believing we went into another universe or we've collided with an alternate verse or whatever it is. But I think people that are in control is just manipulating us, folks. And when they change our history online, it most people can't see any difference because they're all looking online. Okay? That's what I think. So the people I think's been doing that has been artificial intelligence, and it's been in control of that area a lot longer than we have been told that we're using artificial intelligence. Look how much it has jumped in the last few years from people hearing about, you know, well, they're working on that. One of these days we're gonna have it. Two, all of a sudden, you got them answering phones, they're giving people advice. Um, we're using uh all these intelligent, whatever you want to call them, LMMs that are giving everybody information, and everybody's thinking that is the top of the line. That's no, that's been going on. They're just showing you a portion of what they've already accomplished because they've moved on. We're there we're like being drug along, kicking and screaming because we don't want what they've got, but they want it because they're controlling you with it. Does that make sense? So the Mandela effect is a perfect example of the artificial intelligence has gone in and changed stuff years ago, and we started seeing it in our online history, and people are going, wait a minute, I remember it differently. Well, of course you do, it was different. It's not that way now in history because they changed it. Now they're telling you that they're starting to um scan. Sorry about my hesitation. I'm trying to think and talk clearly, and it's not working.
SunnyIt never works, Bruce. You can't think, you can't talk, so give it up and just go with it.
BruceOkay, sound words from Sunny.

BruceAll right, so what I'm saying is uh they went in and they've changed stuff, and we um are seeing that online. And yes, it was true that it really was different, but all you're seeing is your online history, and that's all we're gonna have very shortly. They're scanning books now, and what's gonna happen to them books once they scan them? Well, they're gonna go in their database, which can be changed easily. So as long as they got all these data centers that's storing information that's helping them track or do whatever they want to do, and we no longer have the books in our hands to go in and prove, hey, it was this way, this is what our constitution actually said. This is what our history actually said. Once them books are gone, then we're gonna be relying on what the history is said to be because of the database. And yep, that's already happening. You've seen it in the Mendela effect. It's already been done. It's just getting more and more done, more and more and more done. Hello.

BruceAnd it's a bad thing to lose, isn't it? And that brings us back to what I wanted
Wetware Computers And Brain Efficiency
Bruceto talk about. Brain power. Apparently, um they're saying, I'm not sure how true this is, but I got some articles, that the brain actually is able to do more work than AI, artificial intelligence, um, and faster with less power. So um I'm gonna read from Wikipedia, and you know you can trust it or not trust it. Again, it's online, they can change it, but wetware computer. Ever heard of it?
SunnyUh sounds like a water gun.
BruceYeah, computerized water gun. Wait a minute, let me get my computer water gun. Yeah, there you go. Oh, well, that's not what it is. Wetware computer. A wetware computer is an organic computer, which can also be known as an artificial organic brain or a neurocomputer composed of organic material. Wetware, such as a living neurons, wetware computers composed of neurons are different than conventional computers because they use biological materials and offer the possibility of substantially more energy efficient computing. There you go. And I could read on and on, and I hope you don't mind me reading these articles and boring you to death. Um that's what this show's gonna be today. So if you get bored, let me know. All right.

BruceWell, that's a good point. I hadn't thought about that, but we'll know next time. There you go. Well, let's talk about organoids. O-R-G-A-N-O-I-D-S. Organoids. This article's from February 2023. Powering up the next generation of biocomputers with brain organoids. Artificial intelligence AI boasts impressive achievements from diagnosing medical conditions to composing poetry. Now I understand this article is written in 23 and they're already talking about how great AI is, and it's been around for quite a while, folks. I don't know if you understand what I've been saying, but it's been around a lot longer than you realize or they allowed you to know. Well go on reading this article. Still the brain continues to outperform machines in many ways. For example, brains can perform several tasks simultaneously and are generally better at processing complete information such as images. In addition, brains are significantly more energy efficient than AI and machine learning algorithms. In fact, silicone-based computing is quickly reaching its processing capability or capacity limits because its energy demands are becoming unsustainable. Okay, that was in 23. Now we're going after all these data centers for AI is what they're saying? Huh, really? They've reached their limit, but yet we're building more AI stuff because we need more power to run them, right? To overcome these limitations, we are working to create biocomputers based on brain cell cultures called brain organoids. In our vision, this approach will allow us to harness the remarkable computational capacity of the brain to power revolutionary biological computers. Alright, I'm gonna stop there. There's a whole article. If you want to see it, it's on Frontier Frontier Sin.org. Frontiersin.org. Good grief. And the name of the article is Powering Up the Next Generation of Vile Computers with Brain Organoids. And that was from 2023. The next article I have for you is from March 2023. So we're still back in 2023, three years ago. This one's uh from NIST.gov. Hello. And it's about brain-inspired computing can help us create faster, more energy efficient devices if we win the race. Now, again, if you believe like I do, that they're giving you a piece of uh uh information letting you know what they have worked on, not what they're working on, what they've worked on to make it look like you're in the loop of information when actually they have dropped this information and they're moved on tenfold, and they're just letting you in on where they were, not what they're doing. Does that make sense? I hope it does. All right, back to the article. The human brain is an amazingly, amazingly energy efficient device. In computing terms, it can perform can't talk. It can perform the equivalent of an exaflop, a billion billion, one followed by 18 zeros, mathematical operations per second with just twenty watts of power. In comparison, one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, the Oak Ridge Frontier, has recently demonstrated exoflop computing, but it needs a million times more power. Twenty megawatts to pull off this feat. Uh-huh. And he goes on and says, My colleagues and I are looking to the brain as a guide in developing a powerful yet energy efficient computer circuit design. You see, energy efficiency has emerged as a predominant factor keeping us from creating even more powerful computer chips, while ever smaller electronic components have exponentially increased the computer power of our devices, those gains are slowing down. Notice how I did that. Slowing down. Interestingly, our view of how the brain works has been a source of constant inspiration to the computing world. To understand how we arrived at our approach, we need to take a short tour of computing history. And then they've got more about that in the rest of the article. I want you to notice how they have all these articles so far have been talking about how the computer will be enhanced by the brain or artificial brain if you know we use it so we use less power. And how they're all talking about how the computer has basically run out of power. Now they've come a few steps ahead of that since these articles, and they've made a few chips that run a lot better. In fact, there's an AI Nvidia released an AI brain, and the brain's not a good word for it, but it's not a chip, but it is, it's a little computer that you can buy, and I think it was $249, $249 for that, and it runs on your regular system. Um you can take it home with you. Basically, you can have an AI there, and it runs a lot of computations. So you know that's a big plus they just came in with, but they don't really tell what's inside of it. All right, I'll go away from that conspiracy.
Brain Cells On Chips And Speech Recognition
BruceAll right, let's go to the article from uh December of 2023. This is in technologyreview.com, and the title of the story is Human Brain Cells Hooked Up to a Chip can do speech recognition. All right, so here we go. Brain organoids, clumps of human brain cells grown in a dish, get that, can be hooked up to an electronic chip and carry out simple computational tasks, a new study shows. Fing F-E-N-G-U-O-G and his team at Indian University Bloomington generated a brain organoid from stem cells, attached it to a computer chip, and connected their setup known as a brain OWARE to an AI tool. They found that this hybrid system could process, learn, and remember information. It was even able to carry out some rudimentary speech recognition. The work published today in Nature Electronic could one day lead to a new kind of biocomputer that are more efficient than a conventional computer. Scientists have been trying to build computers based on advanced biological systems for decades. Really? That wasn't an article, that was me. Go says that the such computers could overcome some challenges of silicon-based computers, such as bottlenecks and data processing. Conventional computers are much better than brains in dealing with the numbers, but human brains are better at processing complex information while using relatively little energy. There you go, once again. This is the first demonstration of using brain organoids for computing, says Guill. It's exciting to see the possibilities of organoids from biocomputing in the future. And I apologize if I mispronounce that gentleman's name, or if I'm still mispronouncing organoids. That's I don't I don't know. Anyway, there's more to the article. I'm just wanting to hit once again, they're talking about brain power, about it being less powerful power hungry, and doing more work. There you go. So next article is in life science.com, and it was written in May of 25. Well, it was published. I don't know when it was written, it was published. All these articles I've read to you were published on those dates. There's no telling when they were really written. Once you understand how easy it is to change the information to make it look as they want you to receive it, it's very easy to change history. I want you to understand that. But this is an in live science, world's first computer that combines human brain with silicone now available. Available. Understand that. Alright, again, this came out in May of 25, last year, a little over a year ago. The CL1 computer is the first in the world that combines human neurons with a silicone chip. It would be used in disease modeling and drug discovery before it expires after six months. So it's got a life expectancy of six months. Or when they started this process, it did. There ain't no telling what it is now. But anyway, a new type of computer that combines regular silicone-based hardware with human neurons, is now available for purchase. Really? People can buy this. Well, we can't. We probably can't afford it. But anyway, that's not what we're here for. The CL1, released March 2nd by Melbourne-based startup Corticol Labs, is the world's first cold-deployed biological computer, according to the company's website. Now I just read articles from 2023 where they were already doing this. But you know, they're telling you this is the first thing. The shoe box size system could find applications in disease modeling and drug discovery representative say. Inside the CL1, a nutrient-rich bar broth feeds human neurons which grow across the silicone chip. Excuse me. The chip sends electrical impulses to and from the neurons to train them to exhibit desired behaviors. Using a similar system, Cortical Labs taught dish brain, huh? A pre predecessor to the CL1 to Okay. So I ain't gonna go through that because it's just again, I'm just wanting to get you guys to understand this path that we're on and we are supposedly so far along, has already been invented. We're already been there. They're just letting you in on it now, okay? All right, the next
Living Data Centers And Bigger Fears
Bruceone. This is out of the BBC, and this was October in two twenty twenty five. Scientists grow many human brains to power computers. It may have its roots in science fiction. Oh yeah? But a small number of researchers are making real progress trying to create computers out of living cells. Welcome to the real no Welcome to the weird world of biocomputing. Among those leading the way are a group of scientists in Switzerland who I went to meet. One day they hoped we could see data centers. Huh, look at that. Data centers full of living servers which replicate aspects of how artificial intelligence learns and could use a fraction of the energy of current methods. That is the vision of Dr. Fred Jordan, co-founder of the final Spark Lab I visited. Alright, there you go. So they are believing that one day data centers will be full of living servers. Okay, so why do they need so much power if if they're doing that? Well, some would say they haven't developed that yet, so they have to build these artificial uh computers to do all that, and they take a lot of power, and that's why they're taking all of our power. Or they have in mind of substituting the living servers once they get these built. Or my theory is uh they've already got the living servers, but they're building so many of them, because they're wanting to control every living human being that they're gonna need that power because of that. And that's why they're not worried if a few thousand people die along the way, because that's the less they have to try to control. Okay, so I'm really in the conspiracy round now.
SunnyOh, you went off the deep end, and you're so far gone, we'll never get you back.
BruceWell, thank you. I appreciate that. But anyway, go on. And this last article is from Princeton.edu, Princeton Engine Princeton Engineering, wrote this article, and it's titled New 3D Device Harnesses Living Brain Cells for Computing. And this was released on April the 27, 2026, so just a few months ago. So Princeton researchers have combined brain cells and advanced electronics into a 3D device that can be programmed to recognize patterns using compet computational techniques. Past attempts at using brain cells do not comp do let me repeat this. Past attempts at using brain cells to do computation have relied on 2D cultures grown in a patri dish or 3D clusters that are probed and monitored from outside. The Princeton device takes a different approach, working from it inside out. Using advanced fabrication techniques, the team created a 3D mesh made of microscopic metal wires and electrodes supported by thin epoxy coating. Because the coating is so thin, it has just the right amount of flexibility to interface with the soft neurons that grow around it. The team used the mesh as a scaffold to culture tens of thousands of neurons into a vast 3D network that can be used to do computation. As a paper detailing the experiment was published on April 23rd in Nature Electronics. The research said their integrated approach enabled them to record and stimulate the neurons electrical, activating at a much finer scale than past approaches. They tracked the evolution of the system over a period of more than six months, experimenting with ways to strengthen and weaken connections between key neurons and ultimately trained on algorithms that could recognize patterns of electrical pulses. In one test, they used pairs of distinct spartial patterns. In another, they used distinct temporal patterns. The system correctly distinguished among the patterns in both tests. The research said they hope to scale the system to the point where it can do increasingly increasingly complex tasks. And there's more to the article. If you want to read these articles, go in and check them out. I hope that wasn't too much. Hope it was enough. But the point I've been trying to make is I think they're farther along with their artificial intelligence than they are letting you know. Who's they? The controllers, the people that have manipulated your history, manipulated your education, manipulated your pharmaceutical medicines, your food. Those people. If you can call them people. Anyway, I'm gonna get in trouble for this, but um may the Father watch over me and may the Father prove to you that I'm speaking very truthfully. Now maybe they don't have as much knowledge as I'm giving them credit for, but uh we are slowly, not very slowly, let me repeat that. We are quickly moving into arena, an area that the revelation of the Bible speaks about. And we are almost there. And I think maybe they may be using that literature more of a guideline than um a warning. And I think that maybe a lot of the information that they have shared with us is more of a guideline of what they're gonna do to you in the future than you realize.

BruceWell, I hope not, but uh if I have maybe new ones will come aboard. Uh this is Bruce from the ugly quacking duck. And this is Sunny. And one more thing I want to mention. Hang on, let's just go to another. I want to mention that this podcast is done uh by a human being. I am no artificial alive. Uh as far as I know. I don't know, maybe I'm like Sheldon. Uh maybe I have to wonder, but anyhow, that's that's not true. This podcast is recorded. Uh I actually have buttons over here that I push to make the voices, to make the sound. Sunny is a real person. Um, we just use the board. It's a mixed cast for. I use that board to change his tone so you don't recognize that person. And that is my make-believe friend that comes along with me and helps me enjoy the show, and we have fun together, and I really appreciate him being here. Um, when Lily can't be here, but she has lots of other things going on. She just turned 13, so being part of the podcast is not in her top of the list, and she needs that freedom, so you know I don't grip about it. But that's uh occasionally I'd like to do more interviews, but at some reason I can't seem to get them going again, but I want to work on that. But I just wanted to set everybody straight that this podcast is recorded by a real life person. I actually have microphones and ri record on a computer and I upload it. Uh we're in our Midwest studio, our hidden studio. Our secret studio! Yeah, there you go. And we are recording on Wednesday, uh, August 26th, and we are not going to be able to do the weather report today, excuse me, or um the earthquake report, and there has been some, but uh I'll have to save up for later on because we've talked to we've run over a little bit, and I don't want to run over too much. However, if you enjoyed that, please let us know. Um there is one artificial thing we use for the show, and that's Capella. And if anybody's familiar with uh the Android um AI, uh you can choose the voice, and I chose Capella, and I went in and told it what I wanted it to say, and it does. I've got three different voiceovers that I use. It's got uh one that talks about uh for our opening that you've already heard, and I've got another one that's a little bit longer, and it kind of falls into the same stuff that my value for value has. So I quit using that and I use the shorter one at the beginning like I did on this episode. But when I say we're going to Capella, that's what we're going to. We're going to that artificial voice. Um, and it's recanting the things that I want to bring out about the show being, you know, the worst show of the unknown universe, and the value for value, where you can help us by donating your time, your information, uh, your finances, anything like that. So that's what we use the two AI voices for. Sunny is not one of those. Sunny is a real human voice with a little bit of quirks about it.
SunnyHey, what do you mean quirks? I'm not a quirk.
BruceI I'm sorry. Did you say something?
SunnyQuit that. You know, I don't like that new position that you have that board in because you get to it faster than you should.
BruceOh no. I need to get to it fast so I can hit the buttons, but um, it makes it easy to cut you off.
