Deeper in God’s Word: In Him
Nov 26, 2022 Season 10 Episode 9
Brice C. Craig

Welcome to Word of Life Study Series- In Him. There are literally thousands of promises from God in His Word for us to receive and enjoy in our lives. However, there are also conditions of obedience associated with them. At a minimum, the requirements of faith, hope and love must be observed for them to manifest in our lives. God gave us an inheritance, redemption and precious promises through the Lord Jesus Christ for a reason. It pleases the Father when His will in heaven becomes a reality in our lives on earth.

2 Corinthians 1:18-21
But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

The promises of God are not sometimes “Yes” and sometimes “No”, but in reality they belong to all of God’s children all of the time. Let us not be guilty to have fallen short of the Grace of God and allow these exceedingly great and precious promises go in vain in our lives because of ignorance, disobedience or a lack of faith.
