What's Possible When Women Hold Space?
Show Notes

In today's solo episode, Shauna talks about the trendy and popular phrase, "Holding Space."

If you're like most women, maybe growing up wasn't the most "supportive" environment.

Things like sensitivity, talking about feelings and emotions, anger, were viewed as somehow weak/silly/unimportant/a waste of time? Things like, "get over it" might've been said frequently.

The result?

Many people pushing their feelings aside, stuffing them down or just being detached from them so dramatically, that maybe there was a lot of disconnect from self.

In comes HOLDING SPACE.

Imagine a world where your feelings are held. Shown respect. Not tried to be "fixed" but just allowed to witness you go through the motions and ride the wave of feelings.

Imagine a world where women feel supported. Held. Respected and honored. Not like they need to hide or shove down their emotions. Or even their wants and needs.

Imagine feeling safe instead of shame for the things you're going through.

Today's episode is a calling for women to hold space for each other.
To witness your close friends and family members on their journey.
Not to fix anything.
But instead just allow.

This could mean a hug, a phone call, letting someone cry things out, telling someone that you're there for them, and giving someone the opportunity to feel 100% supported.

My wish for you after hearing this episode, is to give and receive equally with your self-expression. To hold space and to have space held wide open for you.

Radical healing, magic and beauty are all within your reach.

Would love to connect! If this podcast episode resonated with you, we'd be honored if you'd leave a raving review! So much gratitude to you.
