What You Will Find on the Podcast
Each week I share spiritual insights, tools and lessons. These come from both me and my experience and from my spirit team.
This gives you guidance from a spirit perspective and a human perspective. These are different because from non-ordinary reality, they can see more than we do.
But they don't fully understand what it is like to be human. So, taking what they say and pairing with it the human experience gives you better guidance.
I make sure these are action oriented so you don't just get a message with no clue what to do with it - you get guidance on what you can do in your own life to manage it.
You will also find guided meditations to help you with living spiritually connected.

Welcome to your spiritual insight. Have you ever been overwhelmed and unable to actually gather your thoughts or even know what direction you're going? You end up feeling like maybe you're in an energy tornado, sometimes even like turning to go do one thing and then immediately turning around to the other way to go do something else. I am overly familiar with this feeling because when we get too much on our schedules, we end up rushing from task to task, appointment to appointment. We are tossing between basic requirements for life, like eating and sleeping, with everything that we have to do. And it can become this overwhelming sensation. So here's the thing: what if the answer to your chaos energy is simply to slow down and take 10 minutes to reconnect to your spirituality? Well, this week I am going to share with you my three-step spiritual reset. This does not take more than 10 minutes. If you don't even have 10 minutes, you can make it five. But the goal of this reset is to stop you from wasting time and instead learn what actually needs to happen next from a calm space. Making decisions from this calm space with the help of our guides allows us to release that tornado energy and get more done. So let's dive into my three-step spiritual reset. The first step is grounding. The goal here is to bring yourself back fully into the present moment and get your body and mind to slow down and re-integrate together. Now, this can be physically connecting with the earth. Take your shoes off, get in the grass, touch a hand to the tree. I do this even in the winter time when it might be really cold because you can still get grounding simply by touching a tree. Now, the longer you can put your hand on that natural thing, whatever it is, the more grounded you will become. Now, sometimes this is not an option. The weather might not be conducive. You might not be able to leave wherever you're at to head outside. So the other thing that I do if I can't do the actual physical connection to Earth is I visualize connecting with the earth. One of my favorite visualizations is the ocean, or I have this little place that I have created in my mind that is an island in the ocean with sand and palm trees, and I visualize myself being there, and I am the only person on that island. And that will actually assist in grounding, also. I will also add deep breathing to that, where the exhale is longer than the inhale, as this will actually activate your parasympathetic nervous system. In other words, it calms you down. The more you exhale versus intake, it slows your system and pushes it into a restorative nervous system. So after that grounding step, you move to the next one. Now, how long do you stay in that grounding step? As long as you need, if you have the time. But typically for me, it's about five minutes, depending on how much time I have and how chaotic I am feeling. But once I've calmed down, then I actually check in with my guides. The very first thing that I actually ask them is if there is something on my to-do list that is the most important. Do they see something on my list that is like, nope, that is the one thing you have to have done this second? If there isn't anything that they are like, nope, that one's critical. I actually rephrase the question and say, is there anything that can get dropped from the list? So, like, what is the most important and what can go? After that, I go to the next step, step three, which is checking in with myself. This is where I do my human review. It is not a big planning session, it is a quick gut check. Remember, this is to help you refocus during your day so you can be more productive. So you are not gonna sit down and go, okay, well, if I do these three things and I can go to these five, and then next month I'll be able to do this. This is literally the next thing you're gonna do. In fact, the question I ask myself is what is the one thing that needs to happen next? Now, if my guides have said, hey, this is super critical, you finish this right here. During this human check, I still do a check-in with myself because I might see something that maybe is a two-minute task that actually makes what they said easier. So while 90% of the time I go with what they said, I first make sure I am still doing this human check to make sure it makes sense. And then after that, I get back to work. Now, some days, this is multiple times that I do this three-step process, especially if it's one of those days where my list is really long. Or if I am dealing with collective energies that are feeling wonky, as an empath and highly intuitive, a lot of times I start picking up other people's stuff even when they aren't with me. Keep in mind, if you are an empath, if there is a lot of collective anxiety, you cannot be hiding in a closet and still pick it up. And so on those days, I find myself getting in that tornado state more frequently. So I go back to this process more frequently. Now, this is not about how many times you do it. It is about slowing down to connect with yourself, with the earth, and with your guides to help you make the day easier. So now I am going to challenge you to create a reset routine for yourself. Something that you can do automatically when you're feeling overwhelmed. You don't even have to think about it because you've already set it and you know what steps that you can go through. This shouldn't be a rigid structure. Instead, you want to keep it simple and flexible so that you can do it anytime and anywhere that you are feeling overwhelmed. So, going back to this step one of my grounding, I really can do that anywhere because I have the visualization and the deep breathing in there. Now, that might not work for you. Grounding exercises might not help you regroup. And so your routine has to include things that would actually calm you down. Now, if you have no idea where to even begin to think about how to do this on the website version of this audio, I have a list of journal prompts that you can use to help you create your own energy reset. And once you've created it, start practicing. And you might find you might need to tweak it a little bit, but that is okay. Uh, my reset wasn't instant uh the second I decided I'm gonna create this little program. It took time to figure out okay, that helps me calm, that doesn't, okay, this is done nothing. And so, really, even once you've got one set through, make sure you're giving yourself time to adapt if you need it. Now, if you find that no matter what you do, the overwhelm isn't going away, your energy is out of line. I do have a course called Energetic Sovereignty. It is designed for people who want to master their boundaries, maintain their center, and protect their energy on a daily basis. I will put a link to the information on that in the show notes. Thank you so much for joining me today and have a wonderful rest of your day.
