Welcome back to the show what's going on. My name is Vanessa. You may call me V today we are continuing last week's discussion as we continue our focus for season five. Break it off. We are discussing. Tearing down. What has you stuck? Let's get right into part two of tearing it down. I pray this brief episode. We'll offer you a therapeutic way. To continue to identify process and take action against what has you stuck? Let's get into it. I want to share a scripture, 2 Corinthians chapter 10, verses 3 through 6. NLT, we are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reason and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient. Disobedient to cast down every imagination that has continued to exalt itself over the love of God, the wisdom of God, the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought against the obedience of Christ. Are you ready to be obedient to do the thing that has the power to set you free, that has the power to relieve you of the anxiety, to relieve you of the fear? To heal you from the shame and the guilt. Are you ready to fight for your life? Because this is what this is and not just for your life, for your family, for your friends, for the people that are around you, who you love and care for Know within yourself that you can do this and you can absolutely do it with the Lord I want to say this cast down. That's by force It's not, Oh, I'm just gonna lay, I'm gonna lay my phone down so it won't break. Doesn't mean to be gentle, thrust that thing down, you hurl it down, you sling it down from your mind, you end it. You slam it, you break it using the word of God. One exercise I used to do with my clients is I would get some plates from the dollar store and I would have them to write down the thing that they need to let go. The slam down the thing that they are working on to declare I'm letting this go. So we will write the thing on the plate. You stack all the plate and you can put them in order of which thing is the, has the most grip on you you ride all those things on a plate and I even had them wear goggles just in case things, you know, break when you want anyone. I didn't want nobody to get cut, find yourself in an empty safe area and Cast down those imaginations that you've written down on that plate. Cast down those core values that's been destroying you. You cast down that shame and that guilt. You cast down that people pleasing. You cast down that addiction. You cast down that anger. Sling it down, it will free up the energy in your body that's been so tense. You throw it down, confessing that I am going to begin to work on this. And the force you take, is your evidence. If you really mean it or not, the amount of pieces. That's left on the ground could be evidence. Are you for real or not? Whether it's going to be smaller pieces or larger pieces. Clean up when you're done, it's intentional. It's therapeutic, because we're not going to leave it there. One thing that we are going to do spiritually now is to give it to the Lord. Father, I give you these broken pieces. It's. I released this to you and they are broken. I will not pick them up because if I pick them up, I will get cut and I don't want to get cut no longer. Do I want to bleed from the choices that I've made from the pain that I allow people to cause me? I give you these broken pieces. I give them to you at your feet. I give you my broken heart. I give you my broken emotions. I give you my broken mental state. Thank you. I give it to you. I no longer want it.. I receive your love, your help, your correction, your healing. No longer do I want to be stuck. I want to begin a life of freedom. I hope this three part episode.
