Or is this a Sauvignon Blanc from Cape Town, South Africa mixed with just enough Cabernet Sauvignon to turn the wine pink?

Probably, but it is $6.99 at ALDI, so complaining won't do you much good.

Cape Town Sauvignon Blanc tastes pretty good, and Cape Town Cabernet Sauvignon isn't bad either.
