Hey. Welcome. Domain Dave here for Cheapawinefinder.com with another Value Price Wine Review podcast. We write up the review and put links and everything and photos of the bottle and label on the CheapWinefinder.com website. I've been doing it since 2008, I believe. Today we got a fun one. We got a special edition wine. It's a 19 crimes Cali Red. Snoop Dogg and Tupac. Let me grab the bottle because that's only half the title and Google won't put it all. Two of America's Most Wanted. This is Tupac. Uh, this is actually not Tupac's. This is Snoop's Memorial honoring Tupac who died 30 years ago. There is one of those um, you know, camera click-on things in the back of the bottle that's supposed to have a whole interactive um display about this, uh, but it doesn't start till March 10th. We're doing this March 9th. I didn't know until I picked up the bottle. The wine's been on sale for a good week and so. I don't know anything about the wine. Um this is not on 19 Crimes website. 19 Crimes sells a lot of wine. Uh in 2024, they sold um 1.5 million cases of wine worldwide. And that's 12 to a bottle, which makes it 18 million uh bottles. You know, and uh we we did Snoop's Cali Red for the 2021 vintage, I think. We put a we put a um a link in the review on that, and then it was 65% petite syrah, 30% Zimpandel, 5% below. I'm gonna take a sip. And I think that was a vintage wine. Wines today are non-vintage when you make that much uh wine, it's it's hard to keep uniformity year to year. So going non-vintage keeps the experience the same every year. And at a ten dollar wine, you know, if you're you're just you're paying a hundred bucks a bottle, you don't want that. But at 10 bucks, you want the experience to be right. You want to know that the one you had last year is going to taste pretty much like the one you have this year. Nothing wrong with that at the price. I think this is just a label. I think it's more about uh Snoop's tribute to uh Tupac than it is changing the wine. And because for the most part, you go to 19 Crimes website and they have like uh talking labels and they have uh Glow in the Dark monsters, but they never have anything. This was, you know, this is this, this is that, for the wine production or anything. They they kind of skip that. And it seems to work since they're you know, they sell 18 million bottles a year, so maybe you know it's like I'm not gonna complain about that. It seems to work. I'm the only one who complained that there was no production notes. This is a it's not a sweet wine, but it has your ripe fruit, and it's um it has that nice rounded fruit. It's not overly complicated. It's uh it's got a mix of maybe blueberry, maybe some cassis, some um some plum, maybe pomegranate, uh, a little bit of spice, a little bit of uh vanilla. Smooth tannins, acidities in the pocket. It doesn't cause you any problems at all. It's not sharp, it doesn't bite. This is a smooth, easy-to-drink wine. This is one of those wines that you end up drinking more than you ever plan to drink, but you know, who plans drinking? So here we go. So this is um kind of a cool label. For some reason, Tupac doesn't look like Tupac, but Snoop looks like Snoop, so but there's that. But there you go. I mean, if you into them, if you wanna pour a little bit off for uh Tupac and put on uh California Love or something like that, you know, this is the bottle to drink it to. So I don't have too much more to say to it. It's 19 Crimes, Kelly Red, Snoop, and Tupac. Two of America's most wanted. The 19 Crimes wine. Most people know who buy them know what they're getting. They're just easy to drink value wines. When you go to a wine shop or you go to like a you know, uh a convenience store that has this here. Okay, that those wines I know what I'm gonna get every time. They taste good. I uh I want that. And plus, you got uh Snoop Dogg and Tupac. So it makes the wine a little bit more special. So, like I said, pour some out, play some tunes, and adios, I'll keep it keep it cheap, and we'll be talking to everybody in a little bit with more wine. And everybody, thanks for listening, and thanks for uh spending the last five minutes with me. So adios, bye bye.
