Bibianne Fell is a fourth-generation lawyer and mother of three beautiful girls. Her natural sense of determination has driven her to succeed both inside and outside the courtroom.
Bibi grew up on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, surfing the coastline during the day and spending evenings around beach bonfires with friends. After graduating law school, she was invited to join a “big" law firm, where she (literally) worked until she dropped. Since then, she has spent her career grounding herself in her father’s early advice: “Always find a way to fight for the little guy.”
After starting her first firm just before the stock market crash of 2008, then starting another before the covid-19 pandemic, Bibi claims to have the worst possible timing. But none of these setbacks have dampened her spirit — or her success in the courtroom. The perspective she has built on personal and professional fulfillment has a great deal to teach us all.
In this episode, Bibi shares with Luke about finding her own confidence, the lessons she’s learned from profound hardship, and how she almost became the #1 salsa dancer in the world.
