wool and we created"},{"startTime":126.533,"endTime":130.9,"body":"and did sheepskin products"},{"startTime":126.533,"endTime":130.9,"body":"like clothing, slippers."},{"startTime":131.0,"endTime":133.466,"body":"We actually sold the lamb meat as well."},{"startTime":133.466,"endTime":136.2,"body":"So I was like nine at this great"},{"startTime":136.2,"endTime":139.733,"body":"picture of me at age 11, spinning wool"},{"startTime":139.966,"endTime":144.0,"body":"in front of a group of people"},{"startTime":139.966,"endTime":144.0,"body":"who were watching me."},{"startTime":144.0,"endTime":145.7,"body":"And I was telling them all about how,"},{"startTime":145.7,"endTime":148.7,"body":"you know, the virtues of wool"},{"startTime":145.7,"endTime":148.7,"body":"and what was so great about it."},{"startTime":148.7,"endTime":152.366,"body":"And the only downside to"},{"startTime":148.7,"endTime":152.366,"body":"that was my mom used to"},{"startTime":152.433,"endTime":157.366,"body":"dresses up"},{"startTime":152.433,"endTime":157.366,"body":"at colonial outfits to do those."},{"startTime":157.466,"endTime":157.733,"body":"Now, not."},{"startTime":157.733,"endTime":160.2,"body":"What an 11 year old kid wants to do."},{"startTime":160.2,"endTime":161.866,"body":"No, no, no."},{"startTime":161.866,"endTime":163.166,"body":"Not at all."},{"startTime":163.166,"endTime":165.133,"body":"But, you know, that's how we made money."},{"startTime":165.133,"endTime":169.9,"body":"And so the thing was, my mom was learned how to work really hard."},{"startTime":191.433,"endTime":196.0,"body":"But I also was very frustrated"},{"startTime":191.433,"endTime":196.0,"body":"because it wasn't a media."},{"startTime":198.433,"endTime":203.6,"body":"Now, you know, the way we do now,"},{"startTime":198.433,"endTime":203.6,"body":"then would have been a whole other world."},{"startTime":203.7,"endTime":208.2,"body":"So some of my inspiration for"},{"startTime":203.7,"endTime":208.2,"body":"being a business coach is because I know"},{"startTime":208.2,"endTime":212.233,"body":"that people struggle in their businesses"},{"startTime":208.2,"endTime":212.233,"body":"because they're not sure what to do."},{"startTime":212.233,"endTime":215.233,"body":"They need a sounding board,"},{"startTime":212.233,"endTime":215.233,"body":"they need accountability,"},{"startTime":215.466,"endTime":219.366,"body":"they need a system,"},{"startTime":215.466,"endTime":219.366,"body":"and they need something to follow"},{"startTime":219.366,"endTime":223.366,"body":"to help them to launch"},{"startTime":219.366,"endTime":223.366,"body":"and grow that what?"},{"startTime":236.4,"endTime":238.9,"body":"I'm just going to coach"},{"startTime":236.4,"endTime":238.9,"body":"people individually."},{"startTime":238.9,"endTime":241.4,"body":"So that's what think"},{"startTime":263.633,"endTime":266.933,"body":"is something that we tend to get wrong"},{"startTime":266.933,"endTime":270.566,"body":"when we first start our businesses?"},{"startTime":270.633,"endTime":272.933,"body":"That is a great question."},{"startTime":272.933,"endTime":277.6,"body":"Again, of course, I am a coach, so"},{"startTime":272.933,"endTime":277.6,"body":"I'm going to say this is so predictable."},{"startTime":277.6,"endTime":279.7,"body":"You know, I'm going to say this,"},{"startTime":277.6,"endTime":279.7,"body":"which is you don't have people"},{"startTime":279.7,"endTime":281.933,"body":"that are helping you"},{"startTime":279.7,"endTime":281.933,"body":"that know about business."},{"startTime":281.933,"endTime":285.5,"body":"So one of the mistakes that people make"},{"startTime":281.933,"endTime":285.5,"body":"is they ask people"},{"startTime":285.5,"endTime":289.433,"body":"who aren't business coaches or lawyers"},{"startTime":285.5,"endTime":289.433,"body":"or alums for advice."},{"startTime":289.633,"endTime":292.466,"body":"And sometimes those people"},{"startTime":289.633,"endTime":292.466,"body":"are people like your mom or your sister"},{"startTime":292.466,"endTime":296.066,"body":"or your aunt or, you know,"},{"startTime":292.466,"endTime":296.066,"body":"and they're so supportive until you say"},{"startTime":296.133,"endTime":297.866,"body":"you start talking about money"},{"startTime":296.133,"endTime":297.866,"body":"and then they're like,"},{"startTime":297.866,"endTime":300.966,"body":"maybe you should just go get a job."},{"startTime":301.033,"endTime":305.933,"body":"And. I don't. Yes."},{"startTime":306.0,"endTime":309.933,"body":"Those folks either have a job already"},{"startTime":306.0,"endTime":309.933,"body":"and don't want to be doing it anymore."},{"startTime":310.033,"endTime":313.9,"body":"A lot of my clients or they"},{"startTime":310.033,"endTime":313.9,"body":"they already gave up on that or"},{"startTime":313.9,"endTime":314.833,"body":"they don't want to do that."},{"startTime":314.833,"endTime":317.833,"body":"And entrepreneurship"},{"startTime":314.833,"endTime":317.833,"body":"is more interesting to them."},{"startTime":317.833,"endTime":320.8,"body":"So ask people who are knowledgeable"},{"startTime":320.8,"endTime":325.1,"body":"if you're not able or ready"},{"startTime":320.8,"endTime":325.1,"body":"willing to hire a coach, you can use that."},{"startTime":325.1,"endTime":329.2,"body":"There are other free"},{"startTime":325.1,"endTime":329.2,"body":"resources out there that you can use."},{"startTime":329.3,"endTime":332.266,"body":"Yeah, I mean, that's a"},{"startTime":329.3,"endTime":332.266,"body":"that's the thing that's so funny"},{"startTime":332.266,"endTime":336.3,"body":"because I started I started this business"},{"startTime":332.266,"endTime":336.3,"body":"almost four years ago."},{"startTime":336.3,"endTime":339.0,"body":"I had another business before this."},{"startTime":339.0,"endTime":341.7,"body":"And so I've been an entrepreneur"},{"startTime":341.7,"endTime":344.7,"body":"for all of my thirties for sure,"},{"startTime":341.7,"endTime":344.7,"body":"and in my late twenties."},{"startTime":344.933,"endTime":350.0,"body":"And my brother, who is a software"},{"startTime":344.933,"endTime":350.0,"body":"developer high up in the company,"},{"startTime":350.1,"endTime":354.166,"body":"like we were kind of doing"},{"startTime":350.1,"endTime":354.166,"body":"and we were kind of comparing notes"},{"startTime":354.266,"endTime":358.133,"body":"last week and I was like, Don't"},{"startTime":354.266,"endTime":358.133,"body":"you ever want to do this for yourself"},{"startTime":358.133,"endTime":359.4,"body":"instead of working for somebody else?"},{"startTime":359.4,"endTime":364.233,"body":"And he was absolute lead, not so world."},{"startTime":364.3,"endTime":367.633,"body":"So it is, it's"},{"startTime":364.3,"endTime":367.633,"body":"yeah, it's totally different."},{"startTime":367.633,"endTime":372.033,"body":"And those are the kind of people"},{"startTime":367.633,"endTime":372.033,"body":"I think a lot of us that are entrepreneurs"},{"startTime":372.033,"endTime":376.7,"body":"or even have side"},{"startTime":372.033,"endTime":376.7,"body":"hustles understand friends"},{"startTime":376.8,"endTime":380.4,"body":"that are"},{"startTime":376.8,"endTime":380.4,"body":"your other entrepreneurs are so invaluable"},{"startTime":380.466,"endTime":384.3,"body":"because they understand things"},{"startTime":380.466,"endTime":384.3,"body":"on a level that you cannot"},{"startTime":384.366,"endTime":386.5,"body":"you just literally can't get anywhere"},{"startTime":384.366,"endTime":386.5,"body":"else."},{"startTime":386.5,"endTime":388.5,"body":"Yeah, you know, it's interesting"},{"startTime":386.5,"endTime":388.5,"body":"because my father worked"},{"startTime":388.5,"endTime":392.3,"body":"for Westinghouse for 43 years, Same"},{"startTime":388.5,"endTime":392.3,"body":"essentially the same job."},{"startTime":392.366,"endTime":395.2,"body":"Different projects, but different"},{"startTime":392.366,"endTime":395.2,"body":"but the same job."},{"startTime":395.2,"endTime":398.333,"body":"He didn't go into management"},{"startTime":395.2,"endTime":398.333,"body":"because he really enjoyed what he did,"},{"startTime":398.333,"endTime":402.733,"body":"which was he was an engineer and"},{"startTime":398.333,"endTime":402.733,"body":"really enjoyed that expert in his field."},{"startTime":402.966,"endTime":405.966,"body":"And meanwhile, my mother went to complete"},{"startTime":402.966,"endTime":405.966,"body":"opposite direction."},{"startTime":406.166,"endTime":410.4,"body":"And so I had"},{"startTime":406.166,"endTime":410.4,"body":"I really had both examples in my life."},{"startTime":410.4,"endTime":415.1,"body":"I had the example of my mother who had"},{"startTime":410.4,"endTime":415.1,"body":"to hustle to make something happen."},{"startTime":415.1,"endTime":419.466,"body":"And then my dad, who was just,"},{"startTime":415.1,"endTime":419.466,"body":"you know, every day 9 to 5, went to work,"},{"startTime":419.533,"endTime":423.9,"body":"but he had his weekends free to go"},{"startTime":419.533,"endTime":423.9,"body":"play tennis, or that was his particular"},{"startTime":423.933,"endTime":427.4,"body":"hobby"},{"startTime":423.933,"endTime":427.4,"body":"that he had or the outlet that he did."},{"startTime":427.5,"endTime":431.166,"body":"And of course,"},{"startTime":427.5,"endTime":431.166,"body":"spent time with us on the weekends."},{"startTime":431.233,"endTime":434.166,"body":"So it was very helpful to have him."},{"startTime":434.166,"endTime":436.2,"body":"And of course he had a predictable income,"},{"startTime":434.166,"endTime":436.2,"body":"whereas"},{"startTime":436.2,"endTime":437.9,"body":"we did not have a predictable income."},{"startTime":437.9,"endTime":440.9,"body":"People like security"},{"startTime":437.9,"endTime":440.9,"body":"and that is one reason"},{"startTime":440.9,"endTime":443.033,"body":"why a lot of people"},{"startTime":440.9,"endTime":443.033,"body":"would like to be entrepreneurs"},{"startTime":443.033,"endTime":448.0,"body":"but don't actually go into"},{"startTime":443.033,"endTime":448.0,"body":"being actual entrepreneurs."},{"startTime":448.066,"endTime":448.466,"body":"Yeah."},{"startTime":448.466,"endTime":451.866,"body":"And is there something that you see where,"},{"startTime":451.933,"endTime":453.6,"body":"you know, when people people"},{"startTime":453.6,"endTime":456.9,"body":"start a business, they're not thinking"},{"startTime":453.6,"endTime":456.9,"body":"through some of those things."},{"startTime":456.9,"endTime":460.2,"body":"Do you think they take the leap of faith"},{"startTime":456.9,"endTime":460.2,"body":"or is it that they just"},{"startTime":460.433,"endTime":463.433,"body":"simply know the processes to put in place,"},{"startTime":463.633,"endTime":466.633,"body":"to have more predictability,"},{"startTime":463.633,"endTime":466.633,"body":"to have more security?"},{"startTime":466.8,"endTime":470.633,"body":"Well, this is one of the things and again,"},{"startTime":466.8,"endTime":470.633,"body":"we'll talk about this later,"},{"startTime":470.633,"endTime":473.866,"body":"but I have a quiz that I have people do,"},{"startTime":470.633,"endTime":473.866,"body":"which is helps you"},{"startTime":473.866,"endTime":475.566,"body":"to figure out your CEO personality."},{"startTime":475.566,"endTime":478.5,"body":"And there are really four different types"},{"startTime":475.566,"endTime":478.5,"body":"of personalities."},{"startTime":478.5,"endTime":481.5,"body":"There's the Chief Enthusiasm officer,"},{"startTime":478.5,"endTime":481.5,"body":"and that's the person that's"},{"startTime":481.733,"endTime":485.4,"body":"constantly coming up with new ideas,"},{"startTime":481.733,"endTime":485.4,"body":"a little bit of shiny object syndrome,"},{"startTime":485.4,"endTime":488.633,"body":"jumping around, real relationship"},{"startTime":485.4,"endTime":488.633,"body":"focused, really,"},{"startTime":488.7,"endTime":492.266,"body":"you know, like"},{"startTime":488.7,"endTime":492.266,"body":"I am a chief enthusiasm officer in that"},{"startTime":492.266,"endTime":496.8,"body":"I I've also got a side hustle, which is I"},{"startTime":492.266,"endTime":496.8,"body":"do this whole thing with bluegrass"},{"startTime":496.866,"endTime":501.1,"body":"and I'm starting to develop a website"},{"startTime":496.866,"endTime":501.1,"body":"for people that find jams near them."},{"startTime":501.1,"endTime":504.1,"body":"And I'm doing working"},{"startTime":501.1,"endTime":504.1,"body":"and that's all I want to work out like."},{"startTime":504.166,"endTime":506.1,"body":"That because it's fun right now."},{"startTime":506.1,"endTime":510.0,"body":"Holly But it's really fun to play music"},{"startTime":506.1,"endTime":510.0,"body":"with people."},{"startTime":510.0,"endTime":511.133,"body":"It's a lot of fun."},{"startTime":511.133,"endTime":514.633,"body":"So Chief Enthusiasm offices"},{"startTime":511.133,"endTime":514.633,"body":"are jumping all around for joy"},{"startTime":514.633,"endTime":515.733,"body":"and doing all kinds of things,"},{"startTime":515.733,"endTime":519.433,"body":"but they're also maybe"},{"startTime":515.733,"endTime":519.433,"body":"not getting the traction that they want."},{"startTime":519.533,"endTime":521.066,"body":"Then there's the opposite,"},{"startTime":521.066,"endTime":524.433,"body":"which is the chief expert officer,"},{"startTime":521.066,"endTime":524.433,"body":"which moves so slowly."},{"startTime":524.433,"endTime":525.9,"body":"It's a person who's like, has to have"},{"startTime":525.9,"endTime":529.733,"body":"all the analytics in front of them"},{"startTime":525.9,"endTime":529.733,"body":"first and has to really understand"},{"startTime":529.733,"endTime":532.733,"body":"what's going to happen"},{"startTime":529.733,"endTime":532.733,"body":"and how to predict it and move forward."},{"startTime":532.9,"endTime":534.433,"body":"And those are the people that are"},{"startTime":534.433,"endTime":538.233,"body":"less inclined to just quit their job"},{"startTime":534.433,"endTime":538.233,"body":"and go, Well, I was going to try it."},{"startTime":538.233,"endTime":541.0,"body":"You know,"},{"startTime":538.233,"endTime":541.0,"body":"they are less inclined to do that"},{"startTime":541.0,"endTime":544.0,"body":"because they need to make sure"},{"startTime":541.0,"endTime":544.0,"body":"that it's going to work."},{"startTime":544.1,"endTime":546.866,"body":"And we do tease."},{"startTime":546.933,"endTime":549.0,"body":"Then there's"},{"startTime":546.933,"endTime":549.0,"body":"also the chief empowerment officer,"},{"startTime":549.0,"endTime":552.833,"body":"which is so focused on other people"},{"startTime":549.0,"endTime":552.833,"body":"and that she excellence officer,"},{"startTime":552.833,"endTime":556.166,"body":"which could kind of lean towards"},{"startTime":552.833,"endTime":556.166,"body":"perfectionism."},{"startTime":556.233,"endTime":560.2,"body":"So each little quadrant is"},{"startTime":556.233,"endTime":560.2,"body":"you'll see if you take the quiz,"},{"startTime":560.3,"endTime":564.7,"body":"you'll see that there's different pluses"},{"startTime":560.3,"endTime":564.7,"body":"and minuses to
