And I think a really big"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":281.46,"endTime":285.99,"body":"clue is a story that Paul"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":281.46,"endTime":285.99,"body":"recounts in chapter two, where"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":285.99,"endTime":290.67,"body":"he talks about this situation"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":285.99,"endTime":290.67,"body":"this time went in Antioch, he"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":290.67,"endTime":295.02,"body":"tells this story of the people"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":290.67,"endTime":295.02,"body":"the Christians Antioch are all"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":295.02,"endTime":298.74,"body":"leading together at one table"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":295.02,"endTime":298.74,"body":"Jews and Gentiles. And but"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":324.69,"endTime":329.28,"body":"but these are young, these are"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":324.69,"endTime":329.28,"body":"Jewish men lived their whole"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":329.28,"endTime":331.65,"body":"life not interacted with"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":329.28,"endTime":331.65,"body":"Gentiles in this way. And they"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":331.65,"endTime":334.83,"body":"just don't have it in themselves"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":331.65,"endTime":334.83,"body":"to join the table fellowship. So"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":334.83,"endTime":338.04,"body":"they have their own little table"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":334.83,"endTime":338.04,"body":"off to the side. And they're"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":338.04,"endTime":344.34,"body":"kind of looking yeah askance"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":338.04,"endTime":344.34,"body":"critically at Peter. Because how"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":344.34,"endTime":348.12,"body":"could Peter be doing this? So"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":344.34,"endTime":348.12,"body":"and again, Paul is telling this"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":348.12,"endTime":353.58,"body":"story. This is Galatians 211"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":348.12,"endTime":353.58,"body":"through 14 or so. And, and then"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":353.58,"endTime":357.48,"body":"what happens is Peter feels this"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":353.58,"endTime":357.48,"body":"pressure. And this is not a"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":357.48,"endTime":360.81,"body":"text, what I imagine is, Peter"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":357.48,"endTime":360.81,"body":"is sitting there and thinking"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":360.81,"endTime":362.85,"body":"like, oh, you know, what are"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":360.81,"endTime":362.85,"body":"they going to say about in the"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":362.85,"endTime":366.33,"body":"window back when they're back in"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":362.85,"endTime":366.33,"body":"Jerusalem, and feels this"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":366.33,"endTime":369.48,"body":"pressure that many of us have"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":366.33,"endTime":369.48,"body":"felt in church kind of"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":369.48,"endTime":374.64,"body":"situations, when we were on the"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":369.48,"endTime":374.64,"body":"wrong side of a line? You know,"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":374.64,"endTime":378.84,"body":"I remember one time is a college"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":374.64,"endTime":378.84,"body":"to we went into some this is a"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":378.84,"endTime":382.53,"body":"long time ago back in the late"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":378.84,"endTime":382.53,"body":"70s. And went on a field trip to"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":382.53,"endTime":387.51,"body":"a and I won't name the church or"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":382.53,"endTime":387.51,"body":"even Yep, doesn't believe at all"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":387.54,"endTime":391.71,"body":"what even state it was it but"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":387.54,"endTime":391.71,"body":"this is a very big church. But I"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":391.71,"endTime":395.1,"body":"walked in, you know, and this is"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":391.71,"endTime":395.1,"body":"the 70s and I have my long hair"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":395.1,"endTime":397.86,"body":"and you know, nice colorful"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":395.1,"endTime":397.86,"body":"shirt. It was a Sunday evening"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":397.86,"endTime":403.44,"body":"service I walk in, and everyone"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":397.86,"endTime":403.44,"body":"else there had Yeah, hair was"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":403.44,"endTime":406.71,"body":"above their ears. They were all"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":403.44,"endTime":406.71,"body":"wearing what the all men wearing"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":406.71,"endTime":410.82,"body":"white shirts and ties. And I"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":406.71,"endTime":410.82,"body":"immediately feel like oh, it"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":410.82,"endTime":414.81,"body":"feel this shame. Like, oh, and"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":410.82,"endTime":414.81,"body":"it wasn't because I will leave"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":414.81,"endTime":417.87,"body":"me aside, get back to Peter. So"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":414.81,"endTime":417.87,"body":"that sort of feeling of like,"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":417.9,"endTime":421.26,"body":"Oh, you'll people are looking at"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":417.9,"endTime":421.26,"body":"me, Shane. So I think Peters"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":421.26,"endTime":425.82,"body":"feeling that he pulls back and"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":421.26,"endTime":425.82,"body":"leaves the table. This"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":429.15,"endTime":431.79,"body":"is where they're, they're having"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":433.02,"endTime":435.69,"body":"not just fellowship, but"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":433.02,"endTime":435.69,"body":"communion, the Lord's Supper,"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":435.96,"endTime":438.3,"body":"and then the other Jewish"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":435.96,"endTime":438.3,"body":"Christians leave from the table."},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":438.48,"endTime":442.86,"body":"So And Paul says, Then he"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":438.48,"endTime":442.86,"body":"confronts Peter and says, Peter,"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":442.86,"endTime":445.47,"body":"what are you doing? Then he"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":1696.86,"endTime":1701.84,"body":"says, verse 14, may I never"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":1696.86,"endTime":1701.84,"body":"boast except in the cross of"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":1701.84,"endTime":1706.58,"body":"Lord Jesus Christ. But you know,"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":1714.5,"endTime":1718.16,"body":"boasting is wrong, Paul doesn't"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":1714.5,"endTime":1718.16,"body":"really want us to boast. But um,"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":1718.82,"endTime":1723.86,"body":"but David Taylor, he points out"},{"speaker":"Mark Baker","startTime":1718.82,"endTime":1723.86,"body":"x in the, in their context. So I say something.
