And I thought why not?"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":269.61,"endTime":274.38,"body":"Yeah, I think for me, you know,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":269.61,"endTime":274.38,"body":"I just saw how, you know, I grew"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":274.38,"endTime":278.58,"body":"up in my childhood. My parents"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":274.38,"endTime":278.58,"body":"divorced early on resulted in a"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":278.58,"endTime":282.81,"body":"lot of chaos and volatility. And"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":278.58,"endTime":282.81,"body":"so I kind of came out of that."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":283.05,"endTime":286.8,"body":"And I knew I didn't want that."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":283.05,"endTime":286.8,"body":"But I really didn't know how to"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":286.8,"endTime":290.88,"body":"do it differently. And so what I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":286.8,"endTime":290.88,"body":"kind of kept finding is, as much"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":290.88,"endTime":293.76,"body":"as I would try to run to the"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":290.88,"endTime":293.76,"body":"next thing or run to the thing I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":293.76,"endTime":297.06,"body":"thought would be better. Boy,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":293.76,"endTime":297.06,"body":"all that old stuff kept coming"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":297.06,"endTime":300.36,"body":"back. And so it was kind of like"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":297.06,"endTime":300.36,"body":"you know, the Scooby Doo shows"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":300.36,"endTime":302.85,"body":"where they're like, well, who's"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":300.36,"endTime":302.85,"body":"the bad guy? And it's always the"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":302.85,"endTime":306.78,"body":"same person with a different"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":302.85,"endTime":306.78,"body":"mask. And I was just so tired of"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":306.78,"endTime":310.14,"body":"the same villain and a different"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":306.78,"endTime":310.14,"body":"mask. And so I think for me,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":310.17,"endTime":313.95,"body":"that kind of was the catalyst"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":310.17,"endTime":313.95,"body":"to, okay, how do I really deal"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":313.95,"endTime":316.89,"body":"with this so that it doesn't"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":313.95,"endTime":316.89,"body":"keep happening like this? And"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":316.89,"endTime":321.0,"body":"along the way, the question"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":316.89,"endTime":321.0,"body":"really got to be about every one"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":321.0,"endTime":324.33,"body":"has a past, how do some people"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":321.0,"endTime":324.33,"body":"actually take that and use it to"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":324.33,"endTime":327.27,"body":"make them better? Versus how"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":324.33,"endTime":327.27,"body":"does that keep other people"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":327.27,"endTime":330.78,"body":"stuck? And so for me, becoming a"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":327.27,"endTime":330.78,"body":"therapist, that was really the"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":330.78,"endTime":333.54,"body":"question I've been trying to"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":330.78,"endTime":333.54,"body":"answer for a long time is, is"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":333.54,"endTime":336.27,"body":"how do we use it for good"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":333.54,"endTime":336.27,"body":"instead of to hold us back?"},{"speaker":"Joshua Johnson","startTime":337.08,"endTime":340.74,"body":"Then how do we"},{"speaker":"Joshua Johnson","startTime":337.08,"endTime":340.74,"body":"use it for good? And so I don't, I don't"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":354.9,"endTime":357.84,"body":"want to do that thing that you"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":354.9,"endTime":357.84,"body":"know, those self help guys do"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":357.84,"endTime":360.63,"body":"where we go, it's all good. It's"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":357.84,"endTime":360.63,"body":"all great. You know, it's like,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":360.63,"endTime":364.47,"body":"well, that actually, Jason, that"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":360.63,"endTime":364.47,"body":"was an awesome, there are going"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":364.47,"endTime":367.5,"body":"to be bad things that happen. I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":364.47,"endTime":367.5,"body":"think what I've found in both my"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":367.5,"endTime":370.17,"body":"own life, and clinically and"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":367.5,"endTime":370.17,"body":"working with a lot of different"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":370.17,"endTime":374.55,"body":"people, is that the people who"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":370.17,"endTime":374.55,"body":"use their past for good, tend to"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":374.55,"endTime":378.42,"body":"take whatever lesson or good"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":374.55,"endTime":378.42,"body":"they can from it, and then leave"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":378.42,"endTime":382.89,"body":"it. So they have a different"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":378.42,"endTime":382.89,"body":"relationship with it. And that"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":382.89,"endTime":385.56,"body":"usually is one where they can"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":382.89,"endTime":385.56,"body":"see it a little more"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":385.56,"endTime":389.01,"body":"objectively, and with a little"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":385.56,"endTime":389.01,"body":"more awareness than they saw it"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":389.01,"endTime":392.76,"body":"when they were in it.
