#41 - Tommy Boy

John Records Landecker & J. R. Russ talk about the music in the 1995 movie "Tommy Boy" starring Chris Farley and David Spade with Rob Lowe, Bo Derek, Brian Dennehey, Dan Ackroyd, Julie Warner.  Low brow comedy at its best as lovable but, bumbling Tommy tries to save his father's brake pad business following his father's passing just minutes after marrying his gold digging step mother.  Tommy teams up with his disgruntled co-worker to go on the road and try to sell brake pad contracts to keep the company, and the town it is in, afloat as a bank foreclosure nears.  A great one with a LOT of hit music, some recorded and some sung by the co-stars.  "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD..."
