First of all, let me briefly explain what a chargeback is. A chargeback occurs when a cardholder disputes a credit card transaction with their bank. The sale is revoked, and the merchant loses the sale amount plus fees — and I just got my first one!
This experience has taught me a lot of things. One, you cannot please everybody. Two, you never really know what people’s motives are. And most importantly, if you want to grow in a particular space that you are passionate about, some things are inevitable and you have to be prepared when these things happen.
