Join me, Wendie Patrick on another journey on Quantumly Yours' podcast. It's been a while since you've seen/heard me so let's catch up and jump right in to another topic.

What's wrong with chicken? With so many commenting on the fact that their dog can't eat chicken, Wendie delves into a few reasons why. How it's raised, fed, farmed, processed etc. all has bearing on what "energy" that protein has and that can have a great affect on our dogs.

Again, promoting Applied Kinesiology and muscle testing, Wendie also mentions her course now available to take at your own pace through her website www.finnessiamhealth.com where you can learn how to do what she does and therefore help your animals (and yourself) to lead happier, healthier lives.

Hello, folks, and welcome back to Quantumly Yours, my podcast, Wendy Patrick from Finesseum Health. And here is where we discuss, talk, explore, reveal, whatever you want to call it, different things that I've been digging into or discovering about how to help you and your pets lead a happier and healthier life. All of these information that's shared is all just my opinion. What I've found out, it is never meant to diagnose, treat, cure any illness or disease. And we always recommend that you follow up with your health practitioner, whether that be your veterinarian or a naturopath such as myself. Yes, I still do worldwide appointments. We can do remote appointments from anywhere that you are. And we still love and meet regularly with our clients in Canada and the US. But here we are in Northern Ireland. Big move, big changes, um, big year, hopefully. And 2026, we're welcoming in the year of the horse. So that's growth, movement, strength. And certainly it started off with a bang for us, and uh happy days are coming. They're here, but they're going to get better. And I'm hoping the same for yourselves. Wherever you are in your journey, it doesn't matter. As long as you're learning and moving forward, that's great. So there's lots of things that may challenge you as you go on your throughout your day, different people that you will encounter that might rub you up the wrong way, that's fine. That's for you to be challenged in yourself. It's not for you to ever take offense at what anyone says. And it's never for you to feel intimidated or belittled in any shape or form. Where you meet people, there's no coincidences. So there's certain things that will happen that will come into your sort of biofield, your space, your energy, whatever you want to call it. And that's a reason the universe is putting stuff there for you to look. Now, sometimes we don't listen because sometimes we're not ready yet, which is absolutely fine. We'll shake our head, we'll push off that notion, and we'll wander on. But things will come again and again and again and again, where eventually you just can't help but pay attention to that. And that's what you're meant to do. Don't let your ego take over. And I am so guilty of doing this over the years. I'm getting better, but it is it's part of my journey as well, where we have to take a step back, breathe, and go, hmm, there might be some value in that, or there might be some truth in that. Also at the same time, going, that's not for me. That does not speak truth, that doesn't resonate with where I am, who I am, or what I am, and carry on. But today we're gonna talk turkey. I mean chicken. I meet lots and lots of people and have met tons more since I came over here to Northern Ireland. I've been doing a lot of markets with our products and um meeting and talking and sharing with lots of people. A lot still aren't sort of in our ballpark yet, if you like, where they're looking at energy work, they're looking at complementary therapies. But certainly the more that I get out there and talk, and in fact, if you like, share, comment, definitely tell your friends about this, recommend us to them, whatever, we'll take it. And uh maybe that will just open up another path or another door for them that they were sort of wonder what's on the other side of that. And they'll take that step in faith and try to find out what else there is. But they need to be ready, able, willing, and that's it. When it comes to looking after your pets, though, more people are more open to finding other answers. They've maybe spent thousands in different things on different things, or they've been spending their time just checking around or asking a question on Facebook or social media, wherever it is, and getting 80 different opinions, 80 different answers, a million different suggestions, where none is actually specifically going to be tailored for their animals' needs in that present moment. And that's where we keep reminding you, we keep teaching the muscle testing. And we plug in here that I now, the last year, spent a lot of time putting together our online course. It's entitled, What Does Your Pet Really Need? And it teaches you the methods I use through applied kinesiology and sway testing to identify the yes and the no. And I help you develop that throughout the course so that you can literally do what I do when it comes to finding out what they need. You'll save thousands, and I seriously mean that. Not only in time from not having to spend hours and days and weeks, months on Google or researching whatever way you do, or asking questions on social feeds to groups with a million different opinions, because you know there are going to be more than that, or even on lots of cost spending with investigative surgeries, tests, scans, all sorts of things. You can now actually ask your animal through doing what I do, what they need, where it is, let them show you the pain. I'm not going to go into that too much today. I'm not going to go into it at all today, because that's going to be a whole other podcast. But what I did want to talk about because I met a lot of people in the last little while and they have been on and on and on. And the most common thing I've heard about is, oh, we can't eat chicken. Can't eat chicken. And that's on both sides of the pond. I mean, that's definitely North America and the UK, Ireland, um, Europe in general. I would say it's probably everywhere. So why is that? Is there something wrong with chicken? And that's where we sort of like look at a few different things. As you know, I'm very energy-based as to what sort of frequency something holds, what sort of energy is in it. So when we look at chicken supposedly causing these sensitivities or allergies or upset tummies, let's go back even deeper than that to find out why that might be. Whenever you entertain anything, whether that's watching, listening, or eating, you take on that vibration or frequency that whatever it is is holding. What do you mean, Wendy? Okay, all right, let's let's make this a wee bit simpler, hopefully. Think of all of these chickens that are being raised for food. They're mass-produced. I mean, it's it's almost like a production line for these poor little chickens, crammed into barns, crammed into cages, all sorts of things, no restrict or restriction on how they're moving, perhaps, and all of that stuff. It's not going to feel like a very good life, is it? Well, there you go. You've already got a negative vibration. Add to that, what are they being fed? So, is that corn GMO free? Are there is their feed all non-sprayed? What about hormones? Are they getting that in their water, injections, whatever it is? Some countries will allow things that other countries won't. Obviously, they're not all it's not all going to be the same wherever you are. But considering how that animal has lived its life, very short, very stressed, and a lot of the food after it's produced, as we know, not the top human grade quality ends up in a lot of dog food, especially overprocessed kibble that's cooked at a very, very high degree that basically obliterates everything. I mean, chicken meal is literally overcooked chicken that's been ground up into a powder. How much can that be sort of nutritionally deficient? I'll leave that one there. But if you carry on with that little chicken's life, it's then transported to be killed, or it's killed on site, whatever it is. The travel, the stress of that, being crammed in the small areas. And I mean it's a horrendous picture if you actually sit and think about it for a minute or two. And even if it is the stuff that we even eat, you can imagine what's left. The tumors, the boils, the bits that are cut out that aren't appropriate for human food, they go all into the other food chain, into the animals. So whenever you get to that end product, whatever it is, you may have very little nutritional information, very little um goodness, if you like, and an incredibly low vibration. So once you actually ingest that or entertain it or feed that to your animals, that is taken on board. So if you have an animal that's actually already fighting something, for example, or an older animal who's having a lower immune system, whatever the situation is, or even a puppy, and I'll get to that in a minute, then you're asking them to deal with this. So their body may go, ah, don't like that, don't like that. They may come out in hives, they may come out in all sorts of different things, they may vomit, they may have an upset tummy, they may have a runny poo. All of these things is the body telling us something where it's like, okay, whatever was put in needs to get out. And it either comes up the top, down the bottom, or out through the skin, which is the largest organ of the body. Those kidneys will be put under stress, the liver will be put under stress, and that little stomach with all the acids and everything being produced in there can also have a hard time digesting. So when you look at that, you go, well, how do we fix that? Well, we have to look at chicken as well as being a hot food. What I mean by hot food, let's look at traditional Chinese medicine where they have different animals looking at how they live their lives naturally and what their environments usually are like and how their own dispositions are. So chickens are always all over the place and sort of running around very, very fast, very, very moving, very, very energy. Oh my goodness, my goodness, my goodness, when they're allowed to. And that is actually heat in the body. So if you consider that being hot, look at something like a turkey. Now a turkey is a little bit more languid, slower, chilled. He's strutting around doing his stuff, doesn't have to worry about anything because he's the big guy in the yard, and they're a lot calmer and cooler. So debunk the whole myth that, oh, I can't, my dog can't eat anything with feathers is absolute nonsense. Just looking at the actual basic energy of the animal itself. Now, ducks, they're hot because they're they fly, they move a lot, but they live in water a lot. So they are sort of a medium. However, they are incredibly high fat. So be careful with that. Especially your older dogs, the ones with pancreatitis, kidney issues, things like that. You're asking that body to also exert more energy in order to utilize breakdown and work with any nutrients or anything that are in that. So look at these chickens a little bit more. Everything has the energy put into it or the frequency, vibration, whichever you want to put it, all comes together as the same. Whenever we're looking at this, we're basically going, okay, so how were you raised? How were you fed? How were you killed? How are you transported? How were you processed? Now look at all the people involved in every step of that process. Now, if you have lovely, organically reared, non-GMO, non-sprayed, open range, happy little chickens are running around a yard with a farmer or whoever looking after them who absolutely loves them. Half of them have names, they're loved, they're cuddled, they're looked at, they're spoken to, they're treated well. They're gonna be happier, they're gonna be good, they're gonna be lovely because the energy of that person is also transferring onto that animal. Now look at that, the next part where they're actually being handled, processed, killed. Somebody may be working in a kill room, let's call it what it is, could be having a really bad day. Now, the day before they just won whatever it was on the scratch card, for example, and they're happy. Their car angry, they got to work on time, wonderful. Take that the next day or a week later, where they're in the middle of a snowstorm, they couldn't get their car to start, they met someone on the road who was a you know what, and let's keep it clean for the children, folks. And uh they're just having an absolutely nasty day. It's just one of those days like they don't want to be in work, they don't want to do what they do, they're not being paid enough, and that energy, that vibration of that low or that higher negativity, low energy, is being transferred as they're handling everything that goes past them on the workstation. It's pretty profound whenever you actually get into it. You may think I'm completely off the wall here and over the top on this, but going through what I've been going through now for the last 10 years and checking this stuff out, asking the animals, testing the the theories, if you like, I've been seeing more and more evidence that that has a huge, huge impression and a huge effect on the food that we're giving our animals. And that can be to any level. Now let's just touch on puppies for a second, because where do these sensitivities or allergies stem from? A lot of times, the very first bag of food or whatever that's grabbed for an animal or a puppy is going to be a chicken-based food. It's like the most common thing that's out there. I think it's about 70 to 80 percent of all the the kibbles are mostly chicken. Lots and lots more are coming on now because of the issues that are showing up with chicken, which nobody really knows why, but none of them are checking them energetically or looking at it from the way that we look at it. They're just producing stuff, they're getting it in a bag, they're getting it out the door, and they're getting their money for it. Even that, if that's what's money-driven behind it all, it's also going to lower the vibration of whatever is there. So, puppies on this first new food, all the rest of it, they're just young, they're getting weaned, they're coming off their mother's milk, and they're going on to the stuff. It's like, what is this? Now, as that little puppy's developing, its immune system is also developing. So if you have an animal, even a child, where their immune system is low or developing, not quite mature enough yet, and you introduce something new whenever that system isn't ready to deal with it, that system will fight against it and go, oh, don't know what to do with this, don't know what to do with this. Okay, this food, it's food, okay, but I really don't think it is. So the body actually fights itself. Nothing to do with the ego, the mind, what they're thinking about it, because of course they're not going to think about it. It's like there's food, I'll eat it. It's what's presented to me. I trust the human giving it to me, I'm going to eat it. But we haven't looked at that background process of how that food became to be there in front of them. We haven't looked at how their system's developing. It might be the little runt of the litter who's just not as strong as the other ones. So they may show the weakness, they may show the sensitivity or allergy. Now, sensitivities are a little bit different than allergies. Full-blown allergies will be basically that body is wanting to get that stuff out. So they're the ones you'll you'll know when you've given something to your dog or cat that they've thrown it up, they've basically rejected it, they've walked away from it. No, big no, big no. Their body knows what it's saying. However, if that's being presented to them all the time, they don't have a choice. That's what they're going to eat until we start to listen to what they're actually telling us. Now, sensitivity will come up with maybe hives, little breakouts on the skin, extra itchy skin, licking at feet, doing something for self-soothing exercises in order to help them with that. So, all of these things, everybody says, I wish I knew what my animal wanted. Well, you do know. Number one, you can take the course for starters. Okay, plug again, sorry. Or you can actually just listen and watch what your dog's doing, how it's reacting to that and go, hmm, maybe I should change that up. So if you're introducing a new food to a new puppy, a new rescue, whatever it is, something that's maybe come along, or it's just been having a few bad days, or in fact, even after it's been getting any of its jabs as a puppy, it just threatens the immune system, it puts stress on that system, and it's going to go, oh, nothing new, nothing new, nothing new. It's the same when they say with children, they even look at it, where okay, if your baby has a cold or your child has a cold, do not introduce a new food at that particular time because the body will see it as an attack and therefore try to reject it. It's that simple. Sounds mad? Just step back, just look at it, and just take note of what's happening either with your children or with your animals whenever you're doing things like that. Now you might be ready for this. This might be exactly what you were needing to hear today. You might be going, Wendy's talking a lot of rubbish, she doesn't know what she's talking about. Well, I've had a lot of different experiences with a lot of different animals to prove otherwise. So I know I'm on the right track. But take it or leave it, completely your choice. I'm just here to share and hopefully help guide you to help make better choices to have happier animals. So that is pretty much it on chicken. But that would be for everything. Look at everything as a big picture, not just there's the food in front of you. Here you go, eat it, dumb. Where did it come from? And don't always rely on cost. I'll just pop this in here at the end. Some big fancy companies with tons of marketing, lots of advertisement, great salespeople, tons of sales reps, lots of big shows, lots of big trade trade stands at the big shows, pushing that theirs is the best and theirs is this and theirs is that and theirs is the other. You know, I don't trust anybody. I'll grab a bag of that stuff and I'll test it. I'll test the ethics of a company. I'll go, okay, is this money driven? Is this welfare driven? Is this going to help the vast majority of animals? Is this going to work for my dogs if I'm particularly picking something for them? And I'll tell a lot from just using those muscle testing techniques to find out what works. So as I say, learn that. Learn it, learn it, learn it, learn it, learn it. Practice it, practice it, practice it. Don't tell me you can't do it. Everybody can do it. It's just finding your way of being able to do it. Again, covered in the course, sorry, I didn't want this to be an actual sales plug of a day, but there you are. It's other ways that you can help. And there's so many people wanting to help their animals better. And they just don't have the budget these days to throw hundreds or thousands or whatever at it or have insurance payments that are going through the roof because they've done all this stuff. Or, or, or, or, or. Everyone's in a different place, as I've said. To do the best thing you can do, learn how to muscle test, test your animals, test everything you're buying for them. Because as I say, cost doesn't matter. Sometimes the higher cost items are the ones that are spending millions on advertising. You're paying for that in their food and the products. That advertising isn't cheap. That marketing, that glossy advert in the magazine that you picked up. If people do that anymore, yeah, I know we do. So everything comes as a big picture. There's just not one simple answer. Think about okay, he wasn't well that day and I gave him something or other. He threw it up. Okay, system wasn't ready to handle it. Maybe it was new. So at the same time, as well, if you are changing off chicken to something else, be careful that that immune system is well enough supported that it can also handle the change. Or you'll also then be hearing, well, we can't eat this, he can't eat that, he can't, and there are a lot out there like that as well. So a matter of learning how to test your animal, testing everything that's appropriate for them, making sure that their system is clean to begin with. What I'm meaning is that there's not a parasitic, bacterial, viral overload in the system that they're fighting continuously that nobody has discovered yet. So it doesn't matter what you present with them, they're never going to be able to accept it. So lots of things to consider, lots of things to send you on your way with today. And certainly like, subscribe, share, tell your friends about us. You'll find us on YouTube if you want to see my shiny face, or if you want to just listen to us on your regular podcasting provider.
