Six Washington, D.C. area students who are pursuing careers in aviation have each received a $5,000 scholarship from the Aero Club Foundation, Washington, D.C.

Zoe Denito is a second time scholarship recipient and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Astronautical Engineering at Capitol Technology University in Washington, D. C.

Patrick Gilbert is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science at Rocky Mountain College in Montana.

Kaylin Leake is currently in the Aviation Maintenance Program at the University of the District of Columbia Community College.

Clint Ngwa is planning to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Shae Stonemeier is a second time scholarship recipient and is currently enrolled at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana pursuing a degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.

Liyat Tsehai is planning to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
