This week Nicki sits down with Sarah Carter of Natural Baby Doulas https://www.naturalbabydoulas.com. Sarah was our Doula and taught our childbirth class. She has been a tremendous blessing to us.
The fact of the matter is childbirth in America is risky, at least when compared with the rest of the developed world. The statistics are scary, but why is the US ranked so low. Why is the mortality rate so high? And are there safer options? Is there a choice to be made about how a pregnancy and childbirth can go?
As Bible believers we believe that God created us. He designed everything about us and we know that pregnancy and childbirth are a part of that very design. This belief always leads us to seek decisions that uplift that design and have the least amount of intervention possible.
