Sisterhood Through Grief
Sisterhood Through Grief is a collaborative group of women, who lost their spouses and bonded through their grief support group. While we are not licensed therapists or doctors, we are all women who have gained knowledge and wisdom from the journey of grief we endured and survived. We will share what we suffered, encountered, and conquered during our journeys and impart raw truth about grieving. We'll offer compassionate support by providing empathy and validating one's grief. Knowing you are not alone and having someone who can say, "I know how you feel" is priceless and the gift we will present to our listeners to promote healing, offer hope, and ease pain.

Episode 17
Having support during your grief journey is priceless. For the first time, the Sisterhood welcomes a guest in this episode. Patrice Austin was the Executive Director and facilitator at Hearts and Hope, the grief support group where the Sisterhood met. Patrice states that while others may be in a different stage of their grief or experiencing a different type of loss, the major connection is pain. Witnessing other's pain and grief-journey provides understanding, empathy, and healing.
