Jess Weixler: Aging as a Woman in Hollywood
In this episode of What's Your Limp? Jordan chats with actor Jess Weixler (Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, Chained for Love, Fully Realized Humans).
After attending Juilliard, Jess carved out a career for herself in the film industry that any actor would be envious of. The genres and types of projects that she's appeared in are as wide ranging as the characters she plays. Whether it's starring in a big budget western series alongside Pierce Brosnan (The Son), appearing in major studio films (It: Chapter Two) or developing her own indie projects (Fully Realized Humans), Jess can do it all.
However, it hasn't all been smooth sailing. Jess opens up about navigating difficulties of being a woman in this industry (in terms of body standards, aging, motherhood, etc.) Be sure to follow Jess at @JessWeixler on Instagram.
