Howdy! I recently picked up the Trekker Tent 1.0 from River Country Products on Amazon. It's a lightweight 1 person backpacking tent that uses a single trekking pole for setup. I love my Trekker 2.2 tent, but I was looking for a lighter version with a vestibule.

I'm taking a quick and dirty look at the River Country Products Trekker Tent 1.0. This tent is perfect for those looking for an affordable and accessible experience. I give it a quick and dirty review in this video and tell you all about the features and specifications of this tent. Don't forget to like this video and subscribe for more great content.

hey folks, this is Craig the natural medic. Welcome to the natural medic adventures. On today's episode, I'm going to talk about. A new tent. It's a one person tent, single trekking pole. I don't know if he could say it very well. It is from river country products. It is the Trekker. 1.0. So it's a single person, tent, as you can see on the picture, maybe. It actually sets up. In a open format with a single trekking pole, or you can go all the way around with the vestibule. To make it more like a teepee style. It's a relatively compact package. Okay. Weighs in at. And if you can see that very Two pounds, 14.3 ounces. That's just about how I got it from. Amazon minus the box. Let's see. How it sits up in the field. Definitely an essential thing you need to do before you take. A new piece of equipment out in the field is tried at home. Set it up. And see how that goes. Okay. So let's do that. Be right back. Okay, I'm outside and set this up. So what you do, it's very easy to set up. Take it out of the package. It has it on the bag right here. Stake out the tent corners, extend trekking poles. It says trekking poles, but it really only requires one. And then stake out the guidelines. Now because I'm close to the house, cause this is the main sunny spot in the yard this time of day wasn't able to stake out all the guylines, but you can see it forms a pretty large vestibule, almost like a TP shape if you closed up the whole front vestibule. And and that's pretty cool. Look in the inside just a second, but you can pull your guidelines out to provide more stability to, and also increase the room inside on the. Back of the tent, the guylines came out cause we've had a lot of rain lately and the ground is very muddy. So apologies for that. But if you're enjoying this video, gimme a thumbs up. Let me know. You approve of my content. So this guyline here opens up the vent on the very top. I'll give you a better look right. Then the second part is down here. There is a vent that unzips through this zipper here, and you have mesh underneath. So the mesh underneath provides good, adequate venting. You got another guyline on that side, which I don't really have room to stake out because I'm right next to the house. My backyard is not so big and it's very muddy. So apologies to that, but I am six foot two. And if you look in here, the trekking pole is set to about the stop line on the top and just barely open on the bottom. So there's trekking pole is right there. And It looks like pretty much adequate room for one person and you have lots of room in here and your vestibule to put all of your gear and when you close it up, the vestibule would be like this and would form pretty much a TP structure. So that's a quick and dirty of the river country. Tricker one point. If you like this video, give it a thumbs up. So hope you'll subscribe to the channel and tune in for more content very soon. Thanks for watching y'all. Bye-bye.
