Set Your Mind Above
What if I told you that God could be seen in the most ordinary things everyday? Take a break from the busyness of your lives to just stop & look around. Consider the things that we encounter all the time and overlook. Just think of all the lessons that we could learn from our children, in our homes, or our families. What if I told you that everyday, ordinary events could teach us extraordinary eternal truths...would you believe me? I'm BJ Sipe, and welcome to the Set Your Mind Above podcast.

#SetYourMindAbovePodcast
Hey everybody, this is BJ Sipe with the Set Your Mind Above Podcast. I hope you all are being safe out there, especially those that were hit with the winter weather that just swept through our region. We are currently snowed in with 9 inches of snow and single digit temperatures outside. If you’re in one of these areas, be sure to stay off the roads and just enjoy the beauty of the snow in your backyards. Sadly, I have had to enjoy mine today from my bedroom window. Earlier this week we were possibly exposed to Covid, and over the past two years have been some of the lucky few that have never gotten sick. Well, today I came down with what I am pretty sure is this new variant. I can’t test officially because we can’t drive on the roads currently, but I am running a 103° temperature, have a dry cough, congestion, fatigue, and a killer headache – so it all adds up, especially with having likely been exposed. Our son is also running a low grade fever with a cough, but he seems to be quite a bit better off than I am so far – and I’m just praying it stays that way. We would love the prayers, and needless to say, we’re going to put the podcast off until I’ve perked up next Tuesday. I hope you have a very safe weekend, and I’ll check back in with you all early next week. Until next time know that I love you, that God loves you, and may we all each & every day set our minds above.
