Liam Quigley: Part 1

Liam Quigley has enjoyed the best part of four decades in the radio business, having worked in Pirate Radio and both Irish and UK radio, including launching stations such as Radio Nova, Century Radio and Heart 106.2.

In the first of two parts, Liam sits down with Luke to share his stories about growing up in Ireland, and how the radio convinced him to give up his dreams of becoming an actor and what pirate radio was really like in Ireland. Moving over to the UK to work for Instore Radio with Virgin Radio and becoming a launch presenter with Radio Nova, to presenting shows for Viking in Hull and what the launch of the first National commercial station in Ireland was really like.
