From Radio in the USA, to presenting on the longwave in the UK on 252. MaryEllen O'Brien was one of the founding presenters of Atlantic 252, but before that had enjoyed a decade long career working on stations across the United States, which include WBLM in Portland and 93 Rock in California.

In this weeks edition of Radio Greats, MaryEllen shares stories about growing up and taking in American Radio, before getting a licence to join WBLM in Boston - becoming one of the few Woman Daytime presenters on the airwaves, moving to California and joining 93 Rock, before a chance to join Atlantic 252 came up. What working on Atlantic felt like and why when she was at the top of her game, it was time to move back to America.
