Before Jesus sent His followers into the world, He promised them power through the Holy Spirit and called them to be His witnesses. The Book of Acts shows what happened next as ordinary people carried the good news of Jesus into the world around them. Through these stories, we are reminded that the same Spirit who moved through the early church still empowers us.
