Episode 3: Launching the Community Prosecutor Program

On June 14, 2023 the Elk Grove City Council approved a collaborative agreement between the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office and the Elk Grove Police Department for what is known as a Community Prosecutor Program. Elk Grove Police Lieutenant Dan Templeton shares what this means for public safety in the city and how it will help officers and the community. John and Kristyn also introduce a new façade improvement grant program for local businesses and break down the details on city council meetings, a major roadway project, and infill development projects coming south of Elk Grove Blvd.

And if they fit the criteria for juvenile diversion, officer, the juvenile diversion officer can then set the child jail tour, or outreach through other methods to try to refocus linchpin that changes his behavior moving forward. The the contrary, if we have a child who is, you know, tremendously child. As it goes through the process.
