Danielle takes the stress out of copywriting and marketing so, conscious entrepreneurs can do what they do best — empowering clients. She's a creative nerd with a decade of entrepreneurial know-how, fifteen years of professional wellness experience, and a BS in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Danielle has compassionately empowered thousands on well-being journeys as an Expert Contributing Writer, Holistic Wellness Radio Show Host, LMT, RD, and Mental Health Advocate. Her heart-centered leadership and intuitive marketing savvy transformed a startup massage practice from a team of three therapists to an award-winning practice of fifteen therapists serving 11,000+ clients. The pandemic and burnout led to her bittersweet decision to sell the company in 2020, but everything happens (for) us instead of (to) us, especially the hard things. She wasn't sure how to turn her passion for writing into a living, and it took a bit to get her bearings. But once she relaxed and created from a space of joy, things fell into place. Within a month, she was collaborating with women from different time zones, helping overwhelmed entrepreneurs grow their businesses (and minimize their stress) with words and marketing content they could label as their own.
Danielle named the business, "Joyful Rising Writing & Marketing" after her fascination with the phoenix, the idea that we can rise from the ashes of pain and suffering. Eleven years ago, she drank charcoal in the back of an ambulance after trauma hijacked her mind. Rape, mental health struggles, divorce, and coming out tested her spirit. Today, Danielle is grateful those challenges served as catalysts on her path to authenticity and work-life balance. Danielle lives in Gastonia, North Carolina, with her soon-to-be-wife, stepson, and four furkids.
