Welcome to the Peace and Prosperity Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Jason Phillips, licensed therapist and confidence coach for HighAchievers. Here we talk about mental health, burnout, relationships, and building success without losing your peace. Let's get into today's episode. Welcome to another episode of the Peace and Prosperity Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Jason Phillips, licensed therapist, confidence expert. And today we're going to dive into five F's that you need to grow in order for you to be more successful. Now you probably may have heard these things before, but we're going to break them down into some tangible ways for you to action these things. If you are feeling like things are not going the way you want them to in your life, maybe you feel unfulfilled in multiple areas of your life. This episode is going to help you to gain more control and clarity about what to do and how you can enhance your situation. Now you may be thinking, okay, Jason, I got a lot of stuff going on for me. I have my career, I have my family. What else could I, you know, how else could I thrive? Okay, you have those things, but how are you feeling internally about them? Are you waking up drained? Are you feeling like you don't have enough time because you're stretched here, you're stretched there, and mentally and emotionally you are exhausted? Are people coming to you, pulling on you for to do more and more and more? And for some reason, you continue to say yes, yes, yes, but now it's starting to break you down. Have you felt like I need a vacation? I don't know what this vacation is going to look like, but I need to just get away. If you're answering yes to some of these questions, one, you need to be at my workshop where I'm talking about the five barriers that are keeping high achievers winning publicly but drained privately. The link is in the description. But also, you need to make sure you stay for the rest of this episode because I'm going to break down five areas that you're probably feeling unfulfilled in right now. It's separate from the workshop. The first area is going to be your faith. What does your faith look like to you? Are you feeling like there's a struggle internally with you having faith in your higher power, you having faith in yourself, because you've lacked commitment before. So when you start to think about how you can be prosperous, your mind drifts because you're like, nope, you you let yourself down before. So I you don't trust you. So you it's hard for you to think other people will trust you. Even though you have all these accolades and you've done some great things, internally your faith with yourself is broken. You gotta fix that. That's the first F. The second F is finances. Is your financial shit, is your financial, if I can get it out, is your financial situation not where you know it could and should be? Have you made a lot of money? You're getting a lot of raises, promotions, your business is thriving, but because you lack some other areas of discipline or boundary setting, you continue to feel like you're in the same position. You're in a different tax bracket, like that's grown, but you're in a different, you're in the same financial position. You want to make sure you tackle and address your financial situation because that leaves you feeling empty because you're working hard, but you don't have the things that you want to show for it. And I'm not talking about the house or the car, but I'm talking about the financial assets that you feel like you deserve. So we talked about faith, finances. From the outside, you look successful, but privately, you're exhausted and still second guessing yourself. You're putting in the hours, things are growing for you, but your commitment to your family seems to be something that you can't get right. Or is it that you want a family, but you're not sure how to trust again, how to love again? Where do you start with putting those pieces in place? So it's easier to just put more hours into work because that's something that you innately feel like you can control. But every time you go to sleep, you're wishing you had somebody else next to you. When holidays come up, you're thinking, man, I wish I could bring my boo. I wish I had somebody to court me or somebody I was dating or married to to spend the rest of my life that you've worked so hard for with. If family is an area where you need to grow, then maybe you need to take a step back and think, what pieces do I need to put in place so that I can have the family that I want and that I love. And not just give, give, give, give, because maybe you've done that before and it worked out poorly for you. Again, show up to the workshop, we will talk about that. So you have faith, family, finances for your fitness. You know you used to have a banging body, you were in a gym, you've prioritized your health before and were able to reap some of the benefits from it. Like you were able to get your steps in, you felt good going to the vacation and going to the beach, but now because you've let yourself go, you look in the mirror and you're like, whoa. Or maybe it's this you don't even want to look in the mirror because you're unhappy with how you look. You don't go shopping because you're gonna wait until you lose pounds before you start to get new clothing. Or you don't take vacations because you're unhappy when you look in your closet, you're like, oh, I don't even know what I want. All of these things are playing in the back of your mind. And because of that, you sit in the house, you decline invitations, you don't take care of yourself, and maybe you're leaning towards other things to fill the void of not looking like your best, and that's not prioritizing your health. And maybe you've never prioritized your health, but you know that's something that really truly needs to happen. So we cover family, faith, finances, fitness, and you're probably thinking, all right, Jason, what's the last F? The last F is fun slash focus. How are you balancing all of this? Sometimes we put so much work into our career or into our partner or our kids that we don't have any joy and pleasure for ourselves. Now, again, we have to still work. I'm not saying that you can't work, but you want to live a life that you actually enjoy, that you look forward to, and have all these things in place so you're not stretched so thin. Y'all, we got to do better. If you are struggling in any of those areas, know you're not alone, but it's time to do something about it. Don't just wait until the right time. Make the right time now because we know that's something that we cannot get back. All right, y'all. As always, be blessed.
