34. Executive Functioning Skills: Serving those with ADHD
Show Notes

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 6 million children aged 3–17 have been diagnosed with ADHD between 2016-2019. This makes it quite likely that a clinician has or will work with someone diagnosed with ADHD at some point in their career. Because of this, it is important for all clinicians to be familiar with appropriate tools and interventions for ADHD clients.
Our guest today is Zac Grisham MS LPC-S ADHD-CCSP. Zac is the author of “Scattered to Focus” and the owner of Clearview Counseling in Dallas, TX.  Zac also has lived experience with ADHD, and he helps us conceptualize ADHD through the lens of executive functioning. If your current interventions aren't working, and you're looking for fresh ideas for working with ADHD, this episode includes helpful interventions that you can implement  immediately in your practice!
