Lisa and her guest librarian and writer Joshua Berkov discuss A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles. There will be spoilers of this episode.

Berkov wrote The Enlightenment of Angeline and The Enlightenment of Esther.  Follow him on FacebookTwitter or Goodreads

Towles discusses on his website that he wants to shake things up by writing different types of stories.  Towels came up with this idea because he was in investment banking for two decades and traveled and recalled seeing the same people a year later. He wanted to write about people living in a hotel and decided to make the location in Russia with someone on house arrest.
