 In this Book Bits episode, Lisa talks about Banned Books, re-reading books and two books that aren’t getting any attention in the category of “everyone hated it but me.”

 This NPR article discusses that the American Library Association shows 1,600 individual books banned in 2021. The American Library Association stated in a release that there were more book challenges to books than they have seen since they started tracking it in 2000. 

 The banning of books has increased but libraries are working to make sure that individuals across the country can access electronic books at the Brooklyn Public Library and New York Public Library

 This Book Riot article highlights the longstanding book-banning problem dating back to the Puritans.
