Equity in the Workplace
Dec 09, 2021 Season 1 Episode 8

Beverly Davis, GKG’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager, sat down with Lynsee Gibbons to discuss the part of her title that people typically aren't as familiar with - equity. Beverly examines one of her favorite theories called “Equity Theory” that was developed by J. Stacy Adams in the 1960s.

In the episode, Beverly helps us understand why equity in the workplace is essential, and what an organization and managers can focus on to ensure equitable treatment of employees.

Beverly has completed years of research and instruction, and has vast experience from her career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. She is a wealth of knowledge and loves to "nerd out" on this topic. She is always open to a more in-depth conversation - just email her to set that up.

GKG also has an Inclusion & Culture team run by Donnielle DeMesme. Donnielle and her team’s door is always open as well.
