In this episode, we went over a bunch of new or returning shows that we will be watching and covering on the Pod. We also talk about the new Avatar Trailer as well as the new Supergirl trailer. What's going on, everybody? Welcome to the newest episode of Nerd Vibes. I'm your host, Armdark Mamba, and on this episode, we are going to do the January slash 2026 preview pod because everything is ending at the end of December. One piece is going on hiatus until April. A lot of the other stuff that I'm watching right now is going to be ending or wrapping up. End of December, early January. So this is going to be a look ahead. Um, talking about some trailers, talking about some things that we have that we're going to be watching in January, some things we're going to be talking about that we have trailers for that are going to be later in 2026, and then some things that we don't have trailers for that I'm excited about. So that's going to be this episode, the January Preview Pod. The next episode is going to be the year-end wrap-up pod. Because then I'm going on vacation. But that'll that episode will be out the week of Christmas, the weekend of Christmas, I believe. So I look forward to that one. Um, you guys have been going crazy kind of recently, crazy for me. So the downloads have been up for sure. And I appreciate everybody who's been listening. Uh, but let's get the word out. Let's try to make 2026 a big year for nerd vibes. It was supposed to be 2025, but we had some hiccups, so we're gonna make 2026 a big year for us. January preview pod incoming. We're gonna take a break and then we're gonna get into it. All right, so incoming in January, because right now, as it looks, I had to look for things that I'm gonna be watching in January on the anime side, mostly because there's a lot of anime always available to watch, new and old. So that's why we talk about anime that I'm watching a lot, as opposed to comic book shows, because they don't come out as often, whether animated, live action, or anything like that. So we talk about a lot of anime on this, but uh, I am trying to get more comic book content. I just have to start reading more comic books. I used to read a lot, and I'm not reading as much anymore, but we're gonna get into that into the new year. Anyway, back to some of the stuff that we're gonna be watching January 2026. The first thing I want to talk about is JJK, Jujutsu Kaisen, season three, The Colling Game, part one. And this is epic because at the end of season two, we got the Shibuya arc, everybody's going crazy. Sakuna's fighting everybody. We got Gojo trapped in the box, we've got uh Choso versus uh Yuji, we had Mahito versus Yuji. We had a bunch of great fights in the Shibuya arc, and it looks to be that the culling game, season three, is gonna be more of the same. Uh in the trailer, we've got Yuta versus Yuji going seemingly, it seems like Yuta got the order to put down Yuji as the vessel for Sukuna because Sukuna got out and did all that damage in Shibuya. So it seems like Yuta and Yuji have that conflict going on in the beginning of the of the uh season. So that's a really hyped up fight that I've been hearing a lot about on social media, on TikTok, and stuff that people are saying that this fight's gonna be really, really good. That there's a lot of uh momentum and themes and morality in this fight based on Yuta having to take out Yuji, but Yuji on the other side being like, well, you know, I have to go do what I have to go do to save Mega Me. You know what I mean? So there's a lot of of uh play going on in that. That's gonna be coming out January 2026. So we're really, really excited for that one. That's gonna be definitely something I'm watching for sure, week by week, not missing that episode. JJK is a really, really good anime that I'm super excited to be watching and to be back in that world because it is one of those anime that make you think a little bit more. You have to be a lot more invested in the show because the power system is so all over the place. You gotta keep track of who can do what, what a reverse curse is, what cursed energy is, what a cursed tool is, how all these different things interact. So that's just the power system kind of thing, not even to get on to the morals and the ethics and the themes and all those kinds of things that we talk about on this podcast. And, you know, above all else, we we love a good fight. We love a good fight in in anime. So Utah versus Yuji in the colon game, season three of JJK is gonna be epic. And I'm excited to see that as uh something that uh can replace One Piece in terms of the excitement. It's never gonna fully replace One Piece, but replacing One Piece in terms of the excitement level of like looking forward to episodes and things of that nature. I think that JJK can do that, which is why we started the conversation with JJK. The next thing I want to talk about is an anime we have talked about in the past on this episode, on this uh podcast, but it is gonna be the new Trigun remake. The first season was called Trigun Stampede. The second season is called Trigun Stargate. Now that would be keep it a bean straight, 100% a buck. I did not fully enjoy Trigun Stampede that first season. I thought the animation was kind of wonky in the first season. I also thought that the story was a little bit harder to follow than the original Trigun that I watched with uh the original animation. Uh, but I do want to give this another chance because after the first season, I went and I read about how this new adaptation is a lot closer to what the manga was than what the original anime was to the manga. So I want to give this story a a a better chance, a second chance, because I feel like I missed something or I'm missing the point of this particular story because it is closer to the manga, and I didn't read the manga, so I want to give this a second chance to kind of pique my interest again. Uh, because I do love the characters in Trigun, Vash, you have The Preacher, you have uh Millie, which Millie, I believe, wasn't in the first season, which is one of my big gripes because Trigun is a very heavy anime, it's very um thematically heavy in terms of themes of death, themes of self-sacrifice, um, a lot of heavier themes. So you have Millie, who's that comedic relief in the original anime, who wasn't in the first season of this, which kind of made the anime a little bit depressing for me uh and hard to follow because a lot of times she would provide the exposition to kind of what's going on, in my opinion, and kind of give it a little bit more of a layman's term kind of explanation, so that if there's complex things going on in the story and you kind of don't understand, you would get Millie, who's that kind of like for lack of a better term, not the smartest character. So she would spell things out kind of like very obviously, and maybe I'm drawn to that because when I was younger, it was harder for me to understand certain themes and stuff that were going on in anime, and having that character around to kind of hold your hand through it was was nice, but not having it in this first season, especially when this first season is a lot more complex than the original anime, uh, not having that type of character around, I feel like hurt the hurt it. But the trailer for the second season looks really good. We got Vash with a new hairstyle, I believe, towards the end, or that might be his father. I'm not sure. Again, I didn't read the manga, so I'm not sure if some of these characters are new or if they're just the characters we've already met with different looks or hairstyles or whatever it is. Um, but it seems like we've got Millions Knives, which is Vash's brother, uh, moving forward, executing his plan to wake up all the plants and liberate all the plants, which is I believe his race that he's a part of, and liberate them from uh human uh persecution, and they're kind of using them in a way to meet their own goals of humanity. So Millions Knives has a logical and in some ways a point of view that you could understand, which may always make a good villain. Um, so I'm I'm looking forward to season two just from the standpoint of I want to jump back into this world and try to understand it better because I did love the original anime so much, and I didn't really enjoy the first season of this, but I I want to enjoy it because I love the characters and I feel like I'm missing something. So I'm gonna watch the second season and hopefully you come out with a better understanding or and a better view of this anime in general than the one I had at the end of season one. So I don't I don't feel like I should have to go back after watching a season and do a bunch of research so that I can understand the season or understand what I just watched. So that that was kind of a negative for me, and I'm hoping that season two fills in a lot of blanks and kind of gives repackages it in a way that is better to understand. And maybe that's just me who who couldn't comprehend what was going on, and maybe you guys out there can you know enlighten me on what I'm missing or something like that. But that first season did not hit, and I'm hoping that the second season does. Um yeah, the next thing we're gonna talk about is something I'm I'm very excited about. I don't know if we talked about it on here because it was airing uh during my very long hiatus, but free Rin season two, Beyond Journey's End, uh is coming in January as well. So all of these that I'm talking about right now are all gonna be in January. Um so Free Rin Season 2 is a really good anime. Uh I I was late watching it because I thought it was very slow paced, and I wasn't really interested in it at the time because I was watching so much other things. I was watching One Piece, and I believe Fire Force was airing at the same time, solo leveling. So there was a lot of other things that I was watching. But once all that kind of died down, I took my time and I watched Free Ren season one, and it was an amazing anime. Absolutely, positively amazing. The art style was beautiful, the story was amazing, um, the characters, past and present, I really felt a vibe from. Uh, I it very much enjoyed the world of Free Rin and the rules around magic and all those kinds of things. Um just to you know, kind of get into it real quick. If you've never seen Free Rin, go watch it before you watch season two. But a quick rundown season one, Free Rin is a very, very powerful uh mage who is an elf, and she happens to have a very, very long lifespan. And during this lifespan, she went on a hero's journey with her previous party, which the hero Hemel. Um, she had a human uh priest with her in that original party and a dwarf. And, you know, they they went around, they adventured, and I believe they took down the demon king at the time, and then I believe a hundred or so years passed, or some years, a lot of years passed, but Hemel the hero died because he was human. The uh the priest that she was traveling with also towards the end uh succumbed to old age because he's a human as well. The dwarf is an older person as well, so he's not adventuring anymore. Um, so that was her original party. So she set out to retrace the steps of her original party just because she wanted to relive those memories and also make new ones. And she took on the dwarf's apprentice as is someone in her adventuring party, and she took on the mage that the human priest was teaching at the time as also part of her party, and that's where season one takes place. They go on a bunch of you know adventures and things of that nature. It's kind of like an adventure of the week type of situation. Um, but then towards the end of season one, you start to see the actual power of Free Ren when she gets into a couple of fights and has to put her power on display, which she doesn't necessarily like to do. Um, so that was season one. I enjoyed this because it was very slow-paced. It was a change of pace from the a lot of the anime that I watch generally, which is battle shonen uh and and isekai kind of things like that. So this being more so like a slice of life with hints of battle and hints of magic and things of that nature, or was a good change of pace at that time for me, considering, like I said, I was watching One Piece and solo leveling and Fire Force and all those things are very heavily battle shown in. So to have that slower-paced anime, just where you can kind of watch it and kind of enjoy the show, enjoy the adventure of the week or whatever the case may be for that episode, to have that kind of change of pace was really nice. And the narrative around Freerin having to deal with the fact that all the people that she knew at the time of her original adventure have passed. Uh, her being an elf and being a part of that party, which is a legend, so she's actually dealing with the fact that she's a living legend, and people don't actually know who she is, but some people do. So she's kind of dealing with that a little bit, which is an interesting dynamic for a character to have to go through, living up to the legend that they set for themselves while also retracing the steps of that legend with a new party. It's it's an interesting dynamic for sure. And Freerin, Freerin's personality being that of an elf, which is very curious because she has such a long lifespan, she likes to look for very obscure magical spells, and those that those kinds of things are what lead to the sort of adventure of the week type of situation that the plot goes through. While she's also teaching her apprentice, which is the mage that she took on from the priest who was in the previous party. Um, so we're they're doing that. Uh, there's a lot of growing up that the two other adventurers have that they're getting from free ren. Free ren's also learning from them because they're very youthful. So there's a lot of inner dynamics that are going on in this in this anime that just make it a very enjoyable watch. Uh, the animation style as well is beautiful. The fights, when they do happen, because they're very few and far between, are very well drawn, very well animated. The amount of fighting, I think, for this type of anime is perfect because you don't want to load it up with too many fights or too many skirmishes or anything like that, because then you lose the plot of what the show is actually about, which is the journey that she's on. You know, it's literally called free run beyond journey's end. So you don't want to clutter it with too many fights and too much exposition or anything like that. It's more so something that you can just sit down, watch, and enjoy, and you don't have to put that much thought into it because it's very straightforward, but in a sweet, kind of intricate and beautiful way. And I love free run. It was nominated with solo leveling as one of the anime of the year last year, so season two, I'm very, very excited about just as a change of pace, like I said, from all these other fighting battle shonen anime that I watch all the time. Having free run be that change of pace is is great, and I'm very excited for free run. But with that being said, the last trailer that we're gonna talk about is a battle shunen, which is something that I mentioned in talking about free run, which is Fire Force season three, part one, or part two, I believe. It's part two, should be part two, coming in January as well, and this is the conclusion to the Fire Force story, and I want to be real honest with you guys. I did not like Fire Force in the beginning. I I started watching Fire Force because it was the prequel to Soul Eater, which, if you're familiar with Soul Eater, I loved that show, Black Star, Kid Death, you know, all of all of the Meisters, all that kind of whole situation in Soul Eater. I love Soul Eater. So Fire Force being the prequel to that, I kind of had to watch it just to see what everything was about. I don't necessarily have a favorite character in Fire Force. If I did have to say a character, it would probably be Arthur, just because he's ridiculous, carries a sword, and I just enjoy his absolute personality, but I digress. The part two of season three is gonna be crazy. This is when we start seeing the most fights because you got the White Cross people or the Holy Cross people going against the Fire Force, which is Sheenra, and Sheenra is still trying to get his brother, and so all these different fights come out. You got Benny Maru, all these people are gonna just be going crazy in this season of Fire Force. This is actually gonna be a battle-heavy season with a lot of lore dumping, with a lot of tying up of loose ends in Fire Force. So we're gonna find out what the cataclysm is, we're gonna find out a lot of the mysteries of what's going on. We're also probably gonna find out how the Soul Eater universe got created because it did get created by a character in Fire Force and Sheenra. Sheenra created the universe for Soul Eater, so that's why I'm watching Fire Force because I want to see how Soul Eater became what it became. Because Soul Eater is a crazy show, it's way deeper than I thought, and definitely after this season of Fire Force, I'm gonna rewatch Soul Eater again, knowing what I know from Fire Force, so that's gonna be a uh just a great rewatch. But the thing that's got me really excited about Fire Force is the fights, and I know I just said having free run be a break from the fights is what I'm looking for. But and free run's gonna be that in this January of twenty twenty six. Is going to be the break from all these other shows that we're talking about. But the one I am most excited about outside of JJK, because I'm heavily invested in JJK, is Fire Force. I love the fights in Fire Force. I think they're every single fight has an ideological viewpoint from either one character or both as to why they're fighting and to who they're fighting. So there's always that. And Sheenra is is just a ridiculous character. The more I've learned about Sheenra after finding out what Fire Force is and watching Fire Force and how actually devastating his powers are, I'm very interested to see how those powers that I've learned about from social media, from researching, all these other things, how those powers actually manifest. People have told me crazy, crazy things, and I don't want to spoil anything right now. Crazy, crazy things that Sheener can do. Things that shouldn't necessarily be done based on the power sets that are in Fire Force. So I'm very excited to see how those things manifest and how the Soul Eater world in particular comes about. So those are the four anime that we're very, very excited about to be watching in January, considering One Piece is going on a crazy hiatus, and a lot of the stuff that I'm watching right now is going to probably be ending around the time that these things are starting. So we've got some some some good things coming in January of 2026. In the next segment, we're going to talk about two trailers that have come out that are going to be in 2026, but not in early 2026. And we're going to get to those on the other side of this break. So the next trailer I want to talk about is the live action Avatar The Last Airbender trailer. It came out as of recording yesterday. So I'm going to do something I have haven't done on the pod before, and we're going to watch, I'm going to watch the trailer and we're going to talk about it. Okay. So right now in the trailer, we're we're we're getting visions of Toph. We got Uncle Iroh Zuko. This is definitely the airbender arc. Um, the kids are a lot older in this, and a lot of people had problems with that, but that's the problem with live action is people age. So, you know, I would assume that they accounted for this in the live action by just extending the time skip of when Sosin's comment is supposed to come, because in the original animated series, the Sosin's comment is supposed to be in a year, and I would assume that on this iteration that they would make it just longer to account for the characters' aging and to make it so that Aang has a lot more time to train and things of that nature, where we can get a lot more time with these characters than if they were to blitz it in a year. Plus, Aang's actor got tall. He got tall, and people have a problem with it. Um, I think Toph looks really good. The actress for Toph looks great. It looks like the visuals that they're gonna do to explain her bending looks really good. The problem that people are having is that all the actors look way older, which again it's just something that happens when you you when you age, and like in live action, it kind of sucks that the kids are gonna get older, and Aang is supposed to be 12 years old the whole time in the animated series, and in the live action, the actor started at 12, and I think he's I think he was 12 and turned 13 in the first season during the first season recording, or when the first season was out, and then now he's 14, turning 15, or he's around around that 15 years old. But the actor that plays Aang definitely got taller, he definitely looks a lot more mature, and people are definitely shocked about that when the trailer came out. But again, that is something that's gonna happen when you try to do an animated series that was a year long in the in the show, and you try to translate it to live action where you have to take into account filming and production and edits and all those things, and that's why you get such long gaps in between seasons, and you don't necessarily even know if there's gonna be a season two sometimes when you make these things, so that's sometimes why you get such a long break in between. I don't have a problem with how the actors look. I think that for this type of show and some of the things that the animated series couldn't explore is able to be explored with older actors and you know, more mature actors. They might be able to get into some of the themes a little bit more, like the propaganda in the Earth Kingdom. You know, there is no war in Bossing say. You know, that's kind of a meme that goes around on social media all the time, uh especially in this political climate, but I digress. Um, so there's a lot more ability to go deeper into the themes that Avatar touched on because at the end of the day, Avatar is a kid's show. It is one of the greatest kids' shows of all time because of the themes in the and and some of the things that go on in the show. But in a live action, I would expect that they explore those themes a little bit more. They take a little bit more time in certain areas that they weren't able to do in the animated series, especially since you're cutting out a lot of the filler that the animated series had, and you're just taking the larger chunks of the of the arcs. So, you know, you have to you have to go to the top situation, you have to get top on team avatar. That's just something that has to happen. So, but I don't expect we're gonna spend all of season two for the live action dealing with getting top and recruiting toff to the team. I definitely think we're gonna go to Boss Singse and do some things in the Earth Kingdom, King Boomy, all that kind of stuff. We're gonna get more of that. So I'm looking forward to season two. Season one was kind of a letdown because I had really high expectations for it, and I probably shouldn't have, to be honest, because it's a live-action adaptation of something that I genuinely love, and there was probably no way that they were gonna get it right uh in the way that I wanted it to be right. So I think they did well for what they had, and it didn't live up to my expectations, but I am expecting season two to be slightly better, slightly better than season one was. And with the actors being a little bit more mature, I find that to be a plus as opposed to a negative. And I think that the actress playing Toph and what they did with Toph looks incredible. So are my expectations high for the live-action avatar again? Am I am I setting myself up to be disappointed? Uh, I guess we'll see. But the next trailer we want to get to is the Supergirl trailer, which, as of recording this right now, the trailer has been out for 45 minutes. And I watched it already. We're gonna watch it again, and we're gonna talk about it. We're gonna watch it live right now. I'm watching it live right now. Oh, that's the volume right there. So we got crypto starting the the trailer off, just being a a can I just say, a really misbehaved dog, just peeing all over the house, doing, doing, making a mess. And on the other side of that, you have Supergirl who's played by I want to say her name is Ollie Alcox or something. Allie Alcox or something like that. I I don't remember her name, but James Gunn is producing the film. He's not the director, which I think is can be a plus because James Gunn's films are very similar in tone and like how they're produced and things like that. This this trailer does have the James Gunn touch where it's like very heavy heavily musically influenced. There's a lot of dance scenes uh in the trailer at least. Um, there are characters in this trailer that I do not recognize at all as uh someone who is familiar with Supergirl but not well versed in in her lore. Um, she does def they definitely draw the distinction between her and Superman in this trailer towards the end, where she says Superman sees the good in people and I see the truth. So she's more of a realist, whereas Superman seems to be more of an optimist, and that's kind of how they're making their characters distinction, which I think is a good is a good thing. You don't want to have Supergirl be moralically or morally similar to Superman in that way, because then you just have basically a male, a male and female version of the same character. So I like that they made that distinction. Uh in the trailer, we did get a quick brief view of Lobo, um, which I'm very hyped about. Jason Momoa is playing Lobo, and Lobo is one of my favorite characters in the Superman Rose gallery, you know, being that Lobo is just kind of a bounty hunter, a space bounty hunter. Millie Alcott, my my fault. Her name is Millie Alcott. Gotta get her name right. But um this and this also does seem to take place in space on a different planet. Um, so we're not on Earth. And if I'm correct, I think this takes place before or during the events of the first Superman movie, where this is this is basically what she's doing off-world while uh the events of Superman are going on, which is why Clark, aka Superman, has crypto in the movie because she's off-world doing her own thing and he's watching crypto. Um, also in this trailer, we get to see some feats of strength, we get to see uh the suit, which I think is a really nice suit. It's very modest. I think it's I think it's a good suit for Supergirl, this iteration of Supergirl, uh, directed by Craig Gillespie. So it's not directed by James Gunn, it is produced by him. Um, so I do think we're gonna get a lot of those James Gunn beats, which are some uh very musically forward fight scenes. Uh, we're gonna get a lot of you know comedic humor in this. You can already see some in the trailer. There's a portion of the trailer where uh Supergirl and a her companion in this movie, who I don't know who this is, whose character is right now, is surrounded. Uh well, it looks to be in a tavern, and uh they all have guns pointed on her, and she said, This doesn't look like it's gonna be a good time for you guys. So we definitely have the James Gunn comedic appeal uh showing through in this trailer so far. Uh it looks good. I'm excited for it. I was pleasantly surprised by the Superman movie, and I think that if Supergirl can carry the momentum that Superman had, I think that the DC EU under James Gunn is heading in the right direction as opposed to previous iterations of the DC EU. And there's nothing I want to see more than a good, healthy DC EU that can bring very great storytelling, bring the characters to life in a real way, and show the depth of the DC characters that most Marvel characters, in my opinion, just don't have. Whether the movie is good to great is kind of inconsequential, you kind of just want it to continue that forward momentum that Superman brought. You know, so obviously you want the movie to be good too, but if it can continue that momentum and give hope to us DC fans about the DC EU going forward, I think that this movie will accomplish what it set out to do. The trailer looks good. I have no complaints about the trailer, it's not coming out until June of 2026, but I wanted to cover the trailer because we don't really talk about a lot of comic book stuff on here right now because the comic book stuff has been kind of dry in terms of the entertainment. The MCU not putting out as much as they used to, and the DC EU is, as we said, just getting on their feet. So those are two trailers that came out in the last couple of days that I definitely wanted to talk about because those are things that are coming out in 2026 that we will definitely be watching and covering on this podcast. Um, some the next thing we're gonna talk about is some things in 2026 that do not have trailers yet. Uh, they should be coming through soon, or things that have trailers, but I haven't seen the original thing yet. So we're gonna talk about that on the other side and then wrap this podcast up. So coming back from the break, last thing I want to talk about quickly. Uh a couple things we're looking forward to that don't have trailers yet. So the two things are Avengers Doom Day, Doomsday, excuse me. Looking forward to that because over the Thanksgiving week, I watched the Fantastic Four movie finally, and I got to see the tease at the end for Doctor Doom and all that kind of stuff. So I am excited for the MCU in general. I'm excited for the Avengers Doomsday trailer to come out. I'm excited for that movie because we get to see a lot of the characters that we haven't seen in a long time Shang Chi, Suri, or Shuri. Um, you know, all of the kind of those kind of characters we haven't seen in a long time. So I'm excited to see those guys uh in that movie. And I'm interested in Robert Downey Jr. playing Victor Von Doom and how they decide to do that situation, considering he looks like Tony Stark. I don't know if they're gonna acknowledge that he looks like Tony Stark and like this might be a variant of Tony Stark being Victor Von Doom or how they're gonna do that. But I think that's gonna be a very interesting plot point if they decide to touch on it. The other thing I'm looking forward to, supposedly coming in late 2026. This is my most anticipated thing that I'm looking forward to for me personally in 2026, and it is the lanterns live action show that's gonna be on HBO Max or HBO or whatever the app is called when it comes out. I'm very excited for that. Green Lantern is my favorite superhero, particularly Hal Jordan, and this show is has been described as a true crime true crime show with a cosmic aspect to it, you know. So basically space space detectives, but it takes place on on Earth. We have Hal Jordan, who in this iteration is a much older, grizzled veteran. Looks like he's on the verge of retirement, and he's teaching a younger, up-and-coming character in Jon Stewart. Uh, so that's gonna be the the dynamic there, teacher-mentor kind of situation. We also have an appearance from the guy Gardner, who was in the Peacemaker show, season two, who was in the Superman movie with the Justice Guild, all that kind of stuff. So he's gonna make an appearance in the in the show. Again, this is the thing that I am most looking forward to in 2026, because if James Gunn's DC EU can get this right, I might be all the way in on the DC EU. The last time there was a Green Lantern in live action was Ryan Reynolds in the Green Lantern movie, which was terrible. I say it again, it was terrible. I I can't remember, but I'm I don't think I walked out of the movie. I didn't walk out of the movie, but there were multiple times where I wanted to. Just to go on a little side tangent about that movie, it was god-awful. The suit, CGI, was terrible. The storyline was incoherent and wasn't able to be followed. They mashed together three different comic book storylines to make that one movie, and it was a hot pile of garbage. So that's the last thing that any live action Green Lantern has had. So I'm hoping that this lantern show restores the faith in the DCEU and the ability to use and deploy a Green Lantern effectively in live action. Okay. We got little bits and pieces of it from Guy Gardner in the Superman movie and in the P in Summon The Peacemaker season two. But I want my Green Lanterns. These are these are the two goats of the Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan, Jon Stewart. These are the two goats. Okay, you have to get it right with these two characters in particular. No negotiating, none at all. And this is, like I said, the thing I'm the most excited for in 2026. There's no trailer, it's just rumors. The trailer should be coming out soon for both of these, for Ventures Doom Day and for the Lantern show. The trailer should be coming soon, but as of this recording, there are no trailers, so we can't really talk about it. We're just looking forward to seeing those. The last thing I want to talk about, which is a direct result of something else I watched that I'm looking forward to, is My Hero Academia Vigilantes Season 2. Now, the reason it's on the looking forward portion and not the trailers portion in the beginning of the episode, because the trailer for season two just came out. It is going to be premiering in January, just like some of the other things that we talked about. But I haven't watched season one yet because My Hero Academia has not been my vibe. I didn't really like the show with the main cast of characters until really until this last season, uh, where everything started to make sense to me about this whole show, and now I absolutely love it. It's not in my top five or anything like that, but I have a newfound respect for My Hero Academia in that whole universe that's been created. So I'm giving Vigilantes a try, a shot. I'm watching season one, and we saw I haven't seen the trailer for season two because I don't want to be spoiled for anything that's happening in season one. But I am looking forward to the My Hero Academia world because this last season of My Hero with the way Deku's been going and Bakugo and the Todoroki family situation and the All Might situation and just all the emotional beats that My Hero hit in this last season, it made me think, how can I explore this world more? And then I remembered that Vigilantes was a thing. So now I'm watching season one and vigilantes. So I'm looking forward to watching season two. And that's why it's looking forward because I haven't seen season one yet. But um we are gonna talk about that. We're gonna talk about in depth some of the other things that we talked about in this episode. Um, but that's gonna be the January slash 2026 preview pod.
