Hello, and Thank you for tuning in to another episode of Follow the Brand.  I am your host, Grant McGaugh. Today My guest Marke Dickinson asks, How do you Measure the Success of Your Personal Brand?

As the Chief Marketing Officer for a national Healthcare organization, Marke knows branding defines character, tone, strength with a clearly defined value proposition. One of the critical factors that affect your brand is how you spend your time and who you spend your time with. Marke says it is essential to learn to get a broader perspective and drive your life to a point where opportunity meets preparation.

Marke Dickinson is a seasoned leader with more than 25 years of management experience. He is the Chief Marketing Officer at ChenMed, a leader in bringing value-based, concierge-style health care to the neediest populations. In this role, he is responsible for all marketing and advertising efforts to grow the number of patients ChenMed serves. Marke is also accountable for utilizing public relations to expand ChenMed’s notoriety and influence across all segments of the health care community. 

Marke has a deep consumer marketing and finance background with an established reputation for delivering sustained profitability across diverse industries. His strategic, creative, and critical thinking balance has enabled Marke to lead major enterprise-wide growth initiatives from conception to completion. Before joining ChenMed, Marke spent more than a decade leading marketing and the Membership business at AAA. He is credited with leading double-digit growth in AAA membership and insurance policy sales over four years. 

Marke is recognized as an insightful and thoughtful leader. At its 110th Annual Meeting in 2013, AAA honored him with a Special Award recognizing his leadership in fostering collaboration among AAA clubs across the US and Canada. In 2012, Dickinson was voted by the top 100 leaders in his company who most exemplified the organization’s core values of teamwork, respect, integrity, and quality.

Before AAA, Marke spent many years consulting companies in Accenture and CSC's health care, energy, and financial services industries. Marke earned an MBA at Harvard Business School, an MPP at Harvard Kennedy School, and a bachelor’s degree with honors in Finance at Penn State.
