Welcome to San Diego. Jonathan Shuttlesworth Live with you as we continue our partner drive, which has been great. Good Lord, doubled $224,771.07 and 83 new partners. So we should hit 100, which is 900 short of what I'm but I'm gonna do, I'm gonna go next week too. But uh it's still a hundred part partners, which helps a lot. I'm gonna, I just got word I'm gonna go on a Zoom call, which I despise, but I'm making an exception. We'll see whether I regret it or not, that uh they want to do a Zoom call for the Venezuela. Because I I don't understand, you know, I have 90 people on staff, so I can't think of anything that needs done that would involve me directly having to be on a call. And I will tell you, as much as we're talking about prosperity, a lot of the reasons that ministers don't prosper is they spend their time doing things that don't um facilitate growth or increase, which in parentheses is Zoom calls. You talk to your average minister, and their whole day is like, I got I gotta go to a meeting, and yeah, but you're not preaching any meetings. You know, I would say probably the reason, not that you do it for this reason, but um it's it you're because you're being obedient to what God said, it's how it works. You know, you're in nine meetings a day or a week and preach once. I preach nine times a week and I'm in no meetings. So if you spend your time, the Bible says the sower sows the word. Not the sower attends meetings about sowing the word. Just preach. I'm ministering the word now. Obviously, it's a new way of doing it. By new, I mean in the last hundred years to do it by screen, but you end up reaching more people than you do uh in most live meetings between television, YouTube, and the app. Spend your time doing the thing that God told you to do, not doing things in the peripheral of what God told you to do, if that makes any sense. So anyway, I I just I'm probably gonna call the guy ahead of the just ask, you know, because uh if it is are you uncomfortable with me preaching? Are you, you know, what? What's what warrants me being on the meeting? I hate it. Is the stupidest thing that people do is have meetings all the time by Zoom and conference call. It's completely unnecessary. Especially if somebody has a staff. Now, in the old days, when it was me, me and a Dallas, then yeah, you got to talk to me or her because we're it. But those days are over. We have like a team in the logistics department, team in finance, you know, there's there's nothing that warrants me being directly involved. Think about it. We just built out a four million dollar building in Pittsburgh, acquired and built it out, and I was never there one time and never attended one meeting. That's a secret to increase. Again, no headroom on the TV. So um that that that sound irritated. I just I get flashbacks to my crusade that I did in Philadelphia, where um the pastors wanted to meet and just grilled, you know, why are you doing a crusade in Philadelphia? What pastor invited? Okay, you don't want to get involved, then beat it. So anyway, not to be not to be a negative now later to start the broadcast, but it is 9.30 in the morning here. And I did have to be up at 5 30 to be on Real America's voice, so maybe that's a bleeding through. Maybe take another couple swigs of uh double rainbow. You know, I don't need to know anything. I guess it's not helping. So you're gonna fly into Columbia first. Okay, I don't need to know. It's it's it happened in August, it's June. You could you can literally tell me on the plane what I'm doing. I don't I don't care as long as like qualified people have cleared it. Thanks, Leslie. What's up, summer? And uh if that's you in Canada. Ask me where I'm staying Saturday night to go preach in LA. I have no idea. Oh no, I do know. I I I accidentally saw it scrolling through my text. I other I never would have looked. Poor Rachel sends me like tons of, I don't look at them. I hate reading, okay? I hated it in second grade. I'm very good at it. You can see me read, I'll be reading Bible verses. I don't enjoy it. As Norm McDonald said, reading makes me sleepy. And it makes me sleep. I I l I listen to the Bible. I don't like, I basically have a lot of people on staff. You read it and you tell me. Just tell me where I'm landing and tell me where I don't even need to know. Tell the pilots where we're landing. I don't need to know anything except, and honestly, most nights I'll go to the platform. I went through a string of about a year and a half where I've been sending notes in, and I'm doing it less again because I feel like sometimes the services go better to just go in and let it rip. So I want to thank 83 new partners that have joined Tuesday, Wednesday, and we're not even through today yet. That is, um, yeah, and today's third. So I guess I guess we could hit 200 partners. I didn't I didn't realize that today's not over. And the $224,000 given is nothing to sneeze at. Okay, I think we had 100. How many was there the first night? 128? 126. Yeah, what was the tenants? 121. And I think 20 of them are with me. So it's a 600-seater, it was a ghost town. I'm bringing this up for a reason. Because one thing I'm glad I've trained myself to do from the early days, and um, you can write this down if you're taking notes. Never dip your expectation based on any kind of external circumstances about what God's gonna do for you. That can include I'm on a fixed income. That can include I only make $78,000 a year, and the house that I would like to get is uh, you know, out of our price range. You're limiting yourself to your salary. Write this in the comments. My salary is not my source. God is my source. Your salary is what your employer pays you based on their civic obligation and their biblical obligation that a laborer's worthy of is hire. You don't ask people to do things for free. Now, volunteer at church if you're volunteering, you know, but volunteering 55 hours a week is not volunteering. So, you know, if I was a normal evangelist, I would see 121 people in a 600-seater. There's nothing but seats. Now it's grown, you know, it's decent, not huge. One of maybe the smallest meeting I've done because it's not at a church. But I'll I'll do a couple things with that. A, you know, I always heard preacher, I preach like there's 10,000 people there, even if there's 40. Well, maybe don't. Maybe preach to 40 people, and then like I can lay hands on everyone in like eight minutes. I can take longer laying hands on people. If I want to, I can call more people out in the gifts. I can do things, you know. You can't start calling people out at Paul and Nietzsche's church with 100,000 people there. So so I went up yesterday. I thought, well, let's just make it more intimate. People drove in. You know, there's no church for a starting point. We're just rented a place for whoever wanted to come from uh good morning, Katie. Whoever wanted to come from Southern California. So then I was up in the lobby last night from 10 o'clock p.m. till 11, 10 p.m., talking to people, taking pictures. It's nice. And then I do the opposite because God's things work the opposite of what you think. Have you ever heard me tell that story about um Adulus and I had two meetings? And this is a principle I want to teach today. Adulles and I had two meetings when we first got married. Um, I think we got we got married in September. I think these meetings were in October, the first month we were married. Two. One Sunday morning in New York City at a church of about a thousand, and one Sunday morning and night at a church of about 48,51 in there in central Pennsylvania. So I needed $3,200 a month to break even back then. So I, in my head, I thought, I bet they'll give me $2,000 minimum at the New York City church because it's big. They taught prosperity, they taught on financial breakthrough. And then, you know, I'm gonna believe for a miracle for somehow the the 1,200 to come in at the smaller church. I might have even thought 2,500 between the product table, and then maybe, you know, then I can believe for 700 at that small church. So I go to, you're welcome, Nathan. By the way, um, I would love for you to call. I'm taking questions, but I'm doing it only by phone. 412-329-8536. If you're international, throw plus one up. Plus one four one two-three two nine eight five thix. And you leave a voicemail, it'll cut all the awkwardness of having to cut you off the call. And I'm, you know, I think most people don't necessarily care to be on the air live. It it and it loses all the people that don't know they're on delay, that kind of thing. So you can just call and leave a message. Um I I go first to that church in New York City that teaches prosperity and breakthrough and all that. When I checked in, I gave them my name and they said um, we need a credit card. Well, the pet the church told me this is back, you know, I was 20, just turned 26, and I hadn't started that policy of paying for my own expenses. So it's pretty accepted when you're an evangelist that they take care of your travel if they're if they've invited you to come. So I go to check into this hotel in New York and they say, We need your credit card. I said, um the the the church that booked me should have their credit card on on file. They said it didn't go through. Well, you know, I could do what a lot of classless people would do. What's up, Rebecca? Thank you for coming to Toronto. Can't wait to see what all that God's gonna do at Revalidate Toronto. Me too. So I could have done what a lot of classless people would have done and called the church. It was like quarter to midnight. Hey, your credit card didn't go through, and I'm having trouble checking in. And I'm sure they would have rectified it, but I'm not talking about getting the meeting off on a bad foot. I'm not calling somebody ever, let alone just before midnight, to tell them their credit card didn't go through. So I went, all right. So I gave them my credit card, which I mean I barely had enough on it to pay for the room, which was, I think, $200 and some dollars back in 2006 in New York. I probably had 310 as my limit, something like that. And then they paid me an honorarium of $500. Church of a thousand that taught prosperity and breakthrough. That's why a lot of ministries don't have prosperity and breakthrough. They teach it to people. And I believe, I believe the more revelation you have on financial prosperity, the more God expects you to walk in that revelation, not teach it to others and do the opposite. Hey, our church is trying to get out of debt, right? You know, I could have said to every guest speaker that we've had in the last year, hey, we're building a church in Pittsburgh right now, it's gonna be $4 million. So, you know, if you could just be a blessing, you know, maybe take the offering for us. I had people do that all the time. I think it's good. I think it's made me a much better pastor being um having been an evangelist for 20 years before I started a church, because I get both sides of it. Jonathan, I'm flying in for Friday service, I'm coming for my miracle healing. Good, I'll see you there. So, Leslie said New York is a place you don't want to be without finances, and she's right. So they give me a check for 500. Now think, I drove um from Maine. No, I had already left. This would have been 2007 or 8 because I had already left my my dad. So they pay me 500. I drove from Pittsburgh, no, Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach to New York and back, and then got a hotel because it's like a uh what 10-hour drive, 11-hour drive. So I got a hotel halfway. So I mean, the 500 between me having to pay for the hotel and um, you know, then the pastor called. I hope he's watching. I should say what borough and give the initials. Because he's still, he's still the same, and he's still always playing from behind because he's he's slimy. I'll tell you something about that, Pastor. I met up with him about 15 years later at a minister's meeting, and he said, Hey, good to see you. You know, he's a nice guy. I said, good to see you too. He said, Um, Susan said, I'm bringing people tonight. Great. Thanks for doing that. I'm I'm I'm actually I've actually been going to Pittsburgh every month. Listen to this story. I'm telling a lot of stories, but there's a lot to learn in these stories. I'm like a young Mark Twain. Hey, I'm going to Pittsburgh every month. I said, Oh, where are you preaching? If you'd have told me I'd have come to hear you preach. He said, I'm not going to preach. He said, There's a rich guy that lives in Pittsburgh that gives tens of millions of dollars away to ministries. And um he said, I got a chance to play golf with him, and I've been going back and inviting him out for golf because um, you know, I'm I'm hoping he'll he'll give to us. You know, if I ever did that, I would just take this pen and jam it in my jugular vein, or just find something sharp around the office and cut that one artery that James uh that Sherlock Holmes used to shoot people in in their leg, the front female artery or whatever, where you die faster than the jugular. I'd rather be dead than be inviting people out for meals or to play golf, hoping they give me some money. You're like, you're like the lowest form of human being there is. I could uh I maybe could get you to to come out with us when he finds out you have a church in Pittsburgh. I said, No, I'm I'm good, you know. I hope it works out for you. That's the guy that ended up watching what Noah has seen on YouTube. His wife showed him, and he his church had shut down a bunch for the vaccine and stuff, and he said, I'm gonna go check that church out. We'll go this this coming Sunday. And if I feel the Holy Spirit, hey Heather Massey, if I feel the Holy Spirit, um I'm going to make that our home church. And he told us later, when when I walked in, I felt the Holy Spirit hit me. It was like walking into a wall, and they made that their home church. And seven months later, after they did, he bought my wife a house. Him and Adolis would talk all the time. You know, people, Adoles is very affable, pushy golfs and hunts and ends up, and she likes building, and it's like like spirits attract. So this guy was 70 years old, he's a master home builder. And um would ask, you know, he pet he went home to be with the Lord in his 70s. I really wish he could have stuck around to see our new building because that guy, from the moment he started coming to our church, really wanted us to have a big building and would take us to look at places. And I know this guy, and I think he'll give you a good deal. And you know, he wouldn't come out and say it, but it was like, I'll help. And he passed before we got in the big building. I wish he could have seen it, because of course he, I'm sure you can see it in heaven. But um, he was a great guy. But what I'm saying is that's why I wrote that book, Understanding the Financial Anointing. Because when you don't have a financial anointing, then you have to chase money. When you have a financial anointing, there's people attracted to now think of it. Everything that slimy guy was trying to get by manipulation. I got trying not to get it. I think God sees you chase people that have money and says, knock yourself out. And I think when you walk, try to walk away from that, and um, Melissa said, what a great week over $200,000. And that's just these broadcasts. That's not counting the Sunday offering or um whatever in San Diego. It's it's it's totally amazing to me. So uh that guy gave me 500 bucks, and and I said that. Now look how things were. Why is he chasing money? Write this down, and I won't have you write a ton of stuff like this, but how I treat others determines how God treats me. You should think about that when you sew. You're believing for some kind of supernatural breakthrough to be given to you? What supernatural breakthrough have you ever been for someone else? I mean, when they play that video of me telling that lady I'm gonna pay for her house in Kentucky, she almost passes out. Doing that now qualifies me to have that kind of thing done for me. What you make happen for others, at the level you make it happen for others, God makes happen for you. Ephesians 6 8. Knowing this, whatsoever good any man doeth, the same, whatsoever good any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord. At the level you do it. So then, and this is the main thing that I wanted to get to. Um, I go to that little church in Pennsylvania and a couple comes up to me at the end of the service crying, holding a check. This is a check for $8,400. I never had a check that big, anything close to that given to me. This is, I mean, there was probably 40, 43 people or so on Sunday morning in like a 400 seater. I said, you know, I have no partner letter. There's no YouTube at the time. I'm not on television. There's no way, nothing makes sense. I said, uh, how? Why are you giving this? You know, you know, I'm happy you're giving it, but I'm I'm confused. They said, well, over a year ago, we felt the Lord speak to us when we were praying to start setting money aside aggressively. And the Lord said, When it's time, I'll tell you what it's for. So we started putting money aside and uh in like a in like a jar. You know, they were like farmer type people. And they said, we ended up with about 8,400. And um this week, when our pastor announced that we're having a special speaker, we've never heard of you, but when he said you, the same way we heard to set the money aside, the Lord said, that's who it's for. Give it to him. So here's a check for $8,400. So that was right on my first time going out to preach after I left my dad's ministry. That's when I learned that you don't base your expectation on what, on the natural. You wouldn't think a three and a half year supply of food would come from the widow of Zarephath's house. In the natural, it couldn't. But God doesn't work by natural means. And that's why I was talking to um a friend of mine in the ministry, and he preached at a church that had 4,500 people, and they gave him $2,000. And he said, I'll go to a Revival Today Global Pursuit Church that's a year old, and they'll give me, you know, they set money aside. One guy gave him $50,000. I said, You'll go broke preaching in big churches. You know, the kind of churches you try to get into in the ministry, everything's controlled. From how long you're gonna speak to what you're allowed to put on your partner table, all that. It's they muzzle the ox. That scripture, don't muzzle the ox while he treads the grain. That means don't try to put a limit or control what you allow somebody to take in. You'll never be blessed. How can you put restrictions on what can come in for someone's ministry and then want people to be unrestricted? With you and want God to be unrestricted with you. That's Deuteronomy 25.4, but it's re-quoted in the New Testament, if you can find it. Because he says it literally right in the context of um. So go back, 1 Corinthians 9, go to 7. What soldier has to pay his own expenses? What farmer plants a vineyard and doesn't have a right to eat some of its fruit? Go to five. Go to one. Am I not as free as anyone else? Am I not an apostle? Haven't I seen Jesus our Lord with my own eyes? Isn't it because of my work that you belong to the Lord? Even if others think I'm not an apostle, I certainly am to you. You yourselves are proof that I'm the Lord's apostle. In other words, there was no church there before I came. This is my answer to those who question my authority. Don't we have the right to live in your homes and share your meals? Don't we have the right to bring a believing wife with us, as the other apostles and the Lord's brothers do, and as Peter does? So Peter traveled with his wife. I just found that out today. Or is it only Barnabas and I? So Paul's saying, I'm a tent maker, right? But all these other guys that come through town stay in your homes, eat your food. So why are they allowed to? And you have a problem with me. And seven. What soldier has to pay his own expenses? This is a revolution that'll change your life in ministry. Soldiers don't pay their own expenses. I'm not responsible for the expenses of the ministry. The U.S. government is responsible for that soldier's expenses because he's commissioned by the U.S. government, and God is responsible for my expenses in life and ministry because I'm sent by him. As long as I stay. Now, if a soldier goes out and starts his own war, then he's going to get in trouble and have to pay for it. But if you're doing what your commissioner told you to do, then the one that commissioned you is responsible. Testimony on Monday, I sowed a seed in the revival today and you prayed over it, declaring that a substantial amount would come in very fast. I'm excited to report that that amount came in yesterday. Wow. And I know the person that wrote it. When they sowed, I said uh 10 times that amount's gonna come in quickly, because that's how I I've already seen it work. Not that that's all that's gonna come in, but normally tenfold like immediate. And um Patrick sent me a picture that someone had sent us a check for $100,000. I sent it back to him. I said, I wrote, that came back quick. And he wrote, keep looking. There should be more. Minimum is tenfold. And then sure enough, there was another check for $440,000 or $280,000 and then another one that brought the full total to $440. And he wrote, that's more like it, and then there should be more. That was all the same day. Christine in Townsend, Massachusetts, $16,000 seed. I want to say thank you. That's a significant seed and a major blessing to our ministry. Paul, $3,000 seed. So that's when I learned not to set my expectation on what was going to come in based on big crowd, small crowd, poor town, rich town. I mean, Queens, New York is flush with money. I came home with a loss. And Huntington, Pennsylvania, I think the main industry is the prison that's there. I'm not even joking. And we had the largest offering. I think that was the record for largest offering for like years after that, probably till 2011, 2010. Immediately. What soldier has to pay his own expenses? What farmer plants a vineyard and doesn't have the right to eat some of its fruit? What shepherd cares for a flock of sheep and isn't allowed to drink some of the milk? Am I expressing merely a human opinion? Or does the law say the same thing? For the law of Moses says, you must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain. Was God thinking only about oxen when he said this? So isn't that interesting? Wasn't he actually speaking to us? Yes. It was written for us so that the one who plows and the one who threshes the grain might both expect a share of the harvest. 11. Since we have planted spiritual seed among you, aren't we entitled to a harvest? What's King James? To reap carnal things, material things. So for all the ministers watching, the Bible tells you spiritual seed produces material wealth. Acts 28, 1 through 10. Um, go to four. Five. So in five verses, Paul shook the snake into the fire and was unharmed. He just got there as a prisoner. The people waited for him to swell up and dropped dead, but he didn't. They decided he was a god. Seven, near the shore where we landed, was an estate belonging to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us and treated us kindly for three days. As it happened, Publius' father was ill with fever and dysentery. Paul went in and prayed for him and laying his hands on him, he healed him. Then all the other sick people on the island came and were healed. Ten. As a result, we were showered in the original language with high honor gifts. People went back to their homes. All the sick of the island were healed. Man, this guy healed my daughter. He laid hands on her, and his God healed her. Go get um, go get whatever, you know, the most valuable thing we have in our house and give it to this guy. And Luke said, Paul was and I and were showered with high amount of gifts. And when the time came to sail, people supplied us with everything we would need for the trip. So one, they blessed Paul. Then two, they gave him supplies to sail out again. Now watch what comes out of that. Um go to 11, and I might have you just keep going. 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. When we arrived in Rome, Paul was permitted to have his own private lodging, though he was guarded by a soldier. He got his own house and a bodyguard. Go back to 16. How come he was allowed to have his own house? Because of what happened on that island. First of all, the ship captain already was grateful to him for sparing the whole ship of people with his divine instruction. Then he sees him get bit by a snake that should kill you, and it doesn't happen. Then he heals everybody on the island by the power of God. Then they he's like, I've never had this happen. Where we got, we crashed somewhere, a new ship came, and the town gave us everything we needed. And then this guy spared our lives. So when they got to Rome, he said, This guy's not going in jail. Because remember when the ship crashed? And this is before all this happened, just by the word of knowledge. They were going to kill all the prisoners, and the ship captain said, because of Paul, we're not killing him. In other words, like, no, because I'm not killing him. And then more supernatural things happen. And the guy goes, This guy gets his own house. He's not staying in prison with everybody else. I don't know what he's on trial for, but he is a supernatural. That's why Paul always went out of his way to write that these laws work whether you're bond or free. Because they worked for him when he was a prisoner. The supernatural anointing, the financial, the supernatural financial anointing. When you have it, there's nothing they could do. Do you not think if I went to jail during COVID, like they were saying, and they like put me there for a while, you don't think I'd have my own set of rules in a short period of time? I have, and everywhere I've been, I've had that kind of favor. I had it in eighth grade. My teacher would ask me to stay after and make him laugh instead of going to my next class, and then he'd rate me a late slip. I had teachers give me A's because I made them laugh. And, you know, I told you about the setup I ended up with when I worked at the call center. If you watch now, I've got my own setup. This ministry is not like, it'd be similar, maybe like similar to Jesse Duplantis, but I mean I'm not struggling and I'm flowing. There's a flow that your seed opens you up to to live differently in the way that you live. So I would tell you off all those stories, write it down. Keep your expectation up. Something good is gonna come out of wherever you are. Now think of this. So a couple comes up to me yesterday and hands me this small uh Gucci jewelry bag and said, we want to give you this for the church in Pittsburgh. So I'm in a meeting with 160 people now. No, 40. What are we at 40? 140 something? Or 160? 40. What was attendance yesterday? 146? 152. 152 people. So you thought, well, you know, and I got 20 people out here, probably 15 at the least, and a full praise and worship band. And, you know. And then I go up to the lobby to just spend time with people, think, you know, if it's a small meeting, why not make it intimate? And I talk to people for an hour and 10 minutes, took pictures, I opened the bag up. It's my chat GPT-based understanding. These are one ounce gold Kruger rants from South Africa. Gold is $4,400 an ounce. There's 10 of them. I mean, Blackbeard the Pirate had to behead people and sink ships to get this kind of stuff. So that's $45,000 that you can add to the total. That was handed to me last night. And I don't know what's coming in the offerings. And so this is gonna end up being one of the best financial weeks that we've had in the ministry. And I'll let me throw this in too. You wanna know another reason why God sends this kind of stuff my way? This is given to me privately. Who would know if it ever made it to the church or not? But I'm not going to hell for $45,000. What are you gonna do with $45,000? I don't even think you can buy a new pickup truck. People are gonna go to hell for steal. I mean, if you're gonna steal, steal. Do um who was the investor in New York that took everybody's money, Bernie Madoff. I mean, if you're gonna steal, steal hundreds of millions. Go to hell taking eight grand out of somebody's offering or whatever. Can't even sin rate. The amounts of money I see people go to jail for for embezzling, or it's like, what were you even gonna do with that? You're in federal prison, it's not even enough money to buy a home. So break this down. If God can get it through you, God will get it to you. There's a lot of ministers this money would never find its way to the church. So you're just carrying that around with you? Sure am. Feels good. Every time the devil uh tries to depress me, I just reach in my pocket and cling these around with my fingers like poker chips. That's true. Matt said, I found that out by ChatGPT too. You can go to any country with a Kruger and then cash it out. Not true with a dollar. It's one of the most liquid um gold ounces. You can't do it like with the USA Eagle coin. So you can you can add that $45,000. You can you can get with that. So that'll take us to $269. And should break $300,000 uh by about lunchtime, California time. Which is, I mean, think about it, that's one tenth of what it requires to finish off the Pittsburgh building. That's not all going, there's a ton of other things, but this that's supernatural. And I'm telling you, if I would have gone into this meeting and said, well, it's a small, man, uh this is gonna be a rough. I'm telling, and I'm telling you, that's how most traveling ministers, which is why they don't, they're not in the ministry anymore. Oh, I'm gonna lose my shirt this week. I got 25 people on the road with me. There's a hundred people in the crowd. Nah, go go go blow it up. Never allow your expectation to be diminished by outside circumstances. It's a major prosperity key. I'd love to hear from you, especially if you're a partner. I'll give you one in particular. U.S. foods. Have you ever been driving on the highway and you see maybe you have it, but then once you start investing in it, you start seeing everything. There's those trucks, they're green and red, they say U.S. foods. Well, because all restaurants were shutting down, their stock got hammered because no one's gonna do food delivery anymore. Uh, restaurants. But then you think, well, that's not gonna last. Americans are gonna eat. Restaurants are gonna open back up. Or you're at least gambling on it. I don't think this is the apocalypse. I'm still here. The rapture hasn't happened. So there's U.S. foods. What was it at five years ago? So 117%. If you got in during COVID and left it. There's just one that doubled down. That's just like any dummy, if when everyone's afraid, if you pop in, it's a great time to do it. So doubling in five years isn't bad. Mark said, my autopilot's up 45%. Meaning, I knew when we did what we did in Iran, everything was gonna drop. So I wouldn't have done it if there wasn't room for it to drop. I'm not gonna crash the economy. Trump cares about he's a private sector billionaire. And Scott Bassent is a hedge fund manager. They talk about it all the time. You know, stock market's gonna pop back up, gas prices are gonna go down, and they have a plan to do it. So I'm not, why, why would you bet against the U.S. economy with this administration? If Kamala Harris was in, I could see. Let me tell you this too. Like if Kamala Harris won, I made a ton of money in the Biden economy, in the stock market, because I talked to people when he got elected. There's a conservative investor. I said to him, when I say conservative, I mean he's conservative politically like me. Hey, um, now that cop now that Biden's in, what should you do with your money? He said building materials are gonna skyrocket because of mismanagement. So invest in them. And he was right. Wood went up, steel went up, all that kind of stuff went up. Concrete, copper. So think think of this now. Even if you're a negative Nelly Christian that's always waiting for the world to collapse, like for example, if you really felt there was gonna be a famine and a food shortage, like when um it never ended up happening, but like when the Ukra when Ukraine and Russia got into war, I found out Ukraine supplies 20 plus percent of all the wheat for the world. So people said, oh, you know, there's gonna be a wheat shortage. Well, guess what you can buy? If there's a wheat shortage, what's gonna go up in value? Wheat. And there's an actual ETF you can buy that that trades on the value of wheat. So even if you think the economy is gonna go negative, that you can short stocks. You should never be frozen. I I just am worried right now. Then do something. What are you worried about? What do you think is gonna go down? You know, with the Iran war, oil is gonna go up, so gas is gonna go up. You know what else is gonna go up? The price of oil. And you can invest in that. Don't be an idiot, which apparently we don't have many of those on today. If any, I haven't seen any. It's all people that listened, but so many didn't listen. Or you kind of listen. Quit being so freaking conservative. Be conservative with your morals. Be loose and aggressive with your money. I have a chapter in my book on financial overflow about the different kinds of giving and all the different rewards that they bring, and you should do all of them. Tithe is different than offering, is different than alms giving to the poor, is different than partnership, is different than seed of sacrifice. You engage all of them. If you observe the wind, you won't sow. And if you regard the clouds, you won't reap. What he's saying is, farmers, it looks like it's going to rain today. I don't think I can sow, then you're never going to sow. And if you always think it's going to rain, you're never going to reap. And a lot of Christians are, it's always going to rain, Christians. So they don't make any moves ever. And I'm going to tell you something, as many of you know, especially if you're my age. Oh, is that true, Rachel? I didn't know that. I take a look at it. A lot of you are rainy day, not a lot of you. A lot of Christians are rainy day Christians. There's always a reason why it's not a good time to make moves. In the natural, is it a good time to start a church in Toronto when they're getting ready to pass legislation to criminalize prayer in the reading of scripture? Probably not. But who cares? Turned out COVID was a great time to start a church. What chapter is what? We have the references posted right there. Oh, oh, the chapter in my book? I think it's six. Almost positive six. So let that verse get in your spirit. And some of you are raised by negative families. You know, I have a friend who bought a business from his father, and he has 4X the business in under five years. His dad is a negative Christian. Dollars going to collapse, blah, blah, blah. You know, always playing safe because the world's going to end. And his son listens to me preach and has a different end time Bible prophecy view. And his dad's older and, you know, in the natural wiser, but he's, he couldn't, he, the son has lapped him because observing the wind and the clouds will cause you not to be able to. When did you ever hear me when Biden got into office? Economy's going to collapse. They're going to peck the Supreme Court. America's finished. You know, this is a judgment for abortion. You don't hear me talk like that. That's wind and cloud Christianity. Five. And believe it or not, I've never taught on this verse or made any comment on it. You can't try to make your harvest come in. You can just do what the Bible says with your money, but then the Holy Spirit, there's no way to budget this happening. There's no way to talk to those people to get them. Excuse me, could you please maybe bring me a Gucci bag full of gold coins? We're building a big. You can't do it. I don't believe that couple goes to our church. You know, I think six of the five of the six people that have given a million dollars didn't go to our church at the time they sewed it. You don't know. I don't know why a man drove from Michigan and dropped off $140,000 worth of silver or whatever. I don't know. If he was in the room here, I don't know him. He he did it two times when I wasn't there, and he lives in another state. As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child, you don't know how God is going to work this out. That's why you should never be weary and well-doing. All you can control is your part. Cast your bread upon the water. Don't grow weary and well-doing. I don't remember clearly somebody handed me a quarter in church, and my mom saying, How much of that belongs to God? I thought, how can I give him an amount of this? It's it's a solid. I don't know. I'm just getting I actually remember saying as a kid, I wasn't even being sarcastic. I'll just give him the whole thing. I mean, there's no way to like piece this. But I mean, that's how my parents, my parents put it in me. Whatever comes into your hand, what part of that is God's? What a great way to train your child to think. My dad's coming to join me um Saturday night after he preaches in Arizona. Um, you know, we're not gonna have a ton of time together, but we're gonna have a lot more than we normally do, you know, eight hours or so. We're gonna have a good time. I was thinking today of a lady that was a church secretary her whole life, and they paid her nothing. Every minister she she worked for, they gave her, you know, nothing. Barely a living wage. She didn't have cable TV. Ever. She, you know, she probably couldn't afford it. And her brother, put Ecclesiastes 2.26 up. Let me do a little bonus time today. For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, you can do NLT. Uh wisdom, knowledge, and joy. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, let me, yeah, maybe do King James. I had it wrong. If a sinner becomes wealthy, he gives him the task to gather and heap up that he may give to him who is good before God. Oh, you're not, so there's people on the earth that God has said, oh, you don't want to serve me? Then I'm gonna put like a pressure on you to accumulate more and more and more and more and more. And then when you're all done accumulating, you're gonna pass it to somebody that's pleasing in my sight. Think of this. There's um, this is long ago in a land far away, but this happened. A mafia wife in her 80s called a preacher and said, I want you to come. I'm I'm I'm I want to do something for your ministry. Took him to a safe, showed him bars of gold. This is what my husband accumulated. You know, I was watching you on TV or on YouTube, whatever it was, and um, I want to give you everything my husband accumulated. So that mafia guy worked his whole life doing everything he could just to make money. And when he got all done, it got passed to the work of the Lord. But to the sinner he giveth travail to gather and to heap up that he may give to him that is good before God. So you don't know how it's gonna work. That church secretary, her brother, um was gay, married a guy. They never had kids. His living, I don't know whether they were uh just together or whether they got gay married, but the the guy died. He had nobody to leave the money to, and he left it all to his sister, who was that church secretary. He owned a beautiful home in a wealthy city, and that home when she sold it was $2.2 million. Then she got all the other money he'd accumulated. She died, and I don't know if she died, she lived the last years of her life as a multi, multimillionaire, as the child's bones growing a mother, and you can't tell the way the direction of the wind's gonna blow. You can't try to figure out how God's gonna bless you. Now, if she was a normal person, she would have said, you know, well, I, you know, I Jonathan uses a lot of scripture, but I don't know how that could ever happen to me. I'm a church secretary and they pay me $23,000 a month. So I know I'll never be rich. Why limit God? The same way you can't tell which way the wind's gonna blow, or how a baby's bones form in the womb, you don't know how God's gonna do it. You just know that God is going to do it. Your harvest, I want you to write this down. My harvest is guaranteed. Back to Ecclesiastes 6. So knowing that, what's his advice? Ecclesiastes 11 6. In the morning, sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand, for thou knowest not whether shall prosper either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. NLT, plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don't know if profit will come from one activity or another, or maybe both. Something's gonna hit. You don't know what's gonna hit. Keep going in the right direction. It almost puts a shiver up my spine. I said this to Adallus. I said, imagine if in 2015, not even 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, you know, we'll have more money coming in the next uh uh in from from eight days ago through to the end of the week than we did our whole year in 2019, which is eight years ago. What if I had said we've been preaching on the road for um what would it have been at that point? 16 years. I preach this, I go after souls, I do everything I know to do, and we're still living in a small apartment. And I I you know, I I don't have a great car, and I struggle to get a second car for you. If this was gonna work, it would have worked by now. Let's dial it back. You know, I'm not saying I don't believe in it, but maybe I did go a little overboard with Leroy Thompson and Jesse DuPlanis and those guys, you know. Maybe it is, maybe they are overemphasizing that. I'm gonna dial it back and have like a safe version of prosperity. You know, I believe God can bless, but trust me, I was around those guys and I sowed in every offering. We never saw. I was having that conversation with Adults, eating on our Falcon 900, flying to church. I said, imagine if eight years ago we would have cut out and said, if it would have worked, it'd have worked by now. In the morning, sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand, for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, whether they both shall be like good. But you know it's gonna hit. Doesn't seem like it's working. Abraham never wavered in believing God. In fact, his faith grew stronger. Do you want to know what wavering is? You know, we I just have questions. You know, we have been tithing, we've been working hard. I told you what happened to the church secretary. She got millions of dollars. She was an old lady and then she went to heaven. She's in all caps, like she's a forensic files victim. Relax. Try to move with us. That's wavering. We do tithe and give, you know, we just we don't see that level. Yeah, keep talking that you don't see that level, and you never will. What did I start off with? Maintain a high-level expectation of God's blessing every day. The Bible says, Surely, not hopefully, surely, goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And then I want to tell you, I can't make this come into you. But prosperity begins when you hear a story like this, like I would as a boy. You know, when I I think one of the things that separated me as a minister from many other young people that were called into the ministry, and then even now, I don't hear a story of a ministry getting blessed with gold or a million-dollar check or whatever, and think to myself, I hope that happens to me. I think I'm gonna conduct myself in a way that I can be the person who does that for others. Write it down. It's more blessed to give than to receive. I knew that church secretary, by the way. It's more blessed to give than the receive. Write this down. True prosperity doesn't celebrate what it gets, it celebrates what it gives. There's this rich guy that moved. You know, I heard Elon Musk just bought a house in Austin. I'm praying he comes to our church. Why don't you pray that God makes you somebody that can do what he does? Matthew Eshimaloa wrote me and said, um, thanks for you know, thank me. I said, is there anything I can do for you? I said, yes, there is. I would like your notes. Send me your notes every week. Just send me some of your notes. I want what you know out of the Bible that made you you. I don't want what you have. I want what's in your spirit. What did Elisha do with Elijah? Your average preacher, if they were Elisha, what what would you like me to do for you before I go up to heaven? I'd love your robe. You know that one horse that you have that's like very valuable, purebred. If you would leave me that horse, man, I'd be happy. But Elisha said, I want your, I want a double portion of your spirit. I want what you carry. I don't want to be a receiver as my testimony. I want to be a blesser as my testimony. True prosperity celebrates what it gives, not what it gets. My goal is not for someone to give me a million dollars. My goal is to sow a million dollars. And then in setting that as a goal, then you don't have to worry about the blessing.
