As for me and my house, special family blessing service. Number one, see that household redemption, household salvation is part of your covenant, right? Joshua 24, 15. But as for me, and Joshua doesn't say, I'm gonna serve the Lord. Obviously, my kids need to make their own decisions. It's funny how Christianity is the only thing kids are supposed to make their own decision about. They're forcing that. You know, I promise you, if we took video of Mighty Kids and posted online, there'd be a group that would uh repost it on their site. Look at what they're doing to these children. So it's okay to tell them to cut their wee wee off and turn it into a hoo-ha at six, but don't tell them about Jesus. The kids need to make up their own minds. Do you let your kid make up their own mind about when to brush their teeth? If you do, I hope you have dental insurance. Do you let them make up their own mind about whether to wipe their hiney or not? No, you train them. So if you train them in lesser things, what buffoon would leave undone the greater things of their spirit? Say it out loud: as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Look at the rest of it. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, nothing new. Thousands of years ago. You know what Joshua said? Joshua looked at everyone and said, if it seems evil to you to do this, moon township message board, moon township city, what do you need to do? Does it seem evil to you? Then go knock yourself out and serve the gods of these lands. I want to say something while my blood pressure's rising. All these foreign religions that are coming into America, go to the countries where they come from and tell me what good that God has ever done for them. And you want to bring it here? Keep it where it came from. We serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob because he's a nation changer, he's a story changer, he's a family changer. And if it seemed evil unto you to serve the Lord, then choose who you're gonna serve. Whether the gods which your father served, that were, you know the same, they're terrible. Serve them. Remember how your life was. Go serve them. Go serve lottery ticket God. Go serve stealers or playing at one God on Sunday. And let me know how it goes. The struggle will continue. You people can do whatever you want, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. If you make that declaration today, let heaven hear your sound hand clap. Genesis 18, 19. For I know him that he will command his children and his household after him, that they shall keep the way of the Lord to do justice and judgment. I can't imagine telling my dad at 11 years old, and I'm not gonna get out of church today. There would have just been a look. And I would have ruined a pair of Oshkosh Bagash corduroys with fresh pea. There was no option. We had a rule in our house. Unless you were so sick you were thrown up, then you had to go to church. And then once you threw up, my dad would say, There you threw up, you'll feel better. Let's go to church. Let's go to catch 22. They took us to church when we were sick to get healed. Yeah. That's why it irritated me during COVID. If you're sick, stay home. Why don't you just quit the ministry? You useless pastor. That feels like people get that sickness spreads in the house of God. People don't get sick and die in church. People get healed and live in church. Exodus 12, 13. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are. And when I see the blood, there was judgment coming on every home. But when that blood was on the doorpost of the home, when the angel of death sees the blood, he will pass over you. Say this out loud. I live in this world, but I'm not of this world. And say this the problems of this world have no permission to come into my house. Hebrews 11 7. By faith, Noah, being warned of God, of things not seen of yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his house or the saving of his family. So God spoke to Noah. He didn't speak to any of the other people. But the the provision was for him and his family. Everybody says, household salvation. I mean, both on the Shuttlesworth side and on my mom's side, the Curdy side. My cousin Jenny's here with her husband Tony. And then there was a time Jenny was the only one serving the Lord. Now the whole family's in. And the cousins got thrown in. My mom's oldest sister, uh Linda, my Aunt Linda, my mom was the first one to give her life to the Lord. Now everybody, including of blessed memory, their sister Nancy, who passed uh end of last year, right? She gave, she was not close to receiving Christ. She was the last one. Then I started doing broadcasts, and I would see Anne Martin. Good preaching. What? Then I called my mom and said, Is Aunt Nancy watching me preach? She said, She's been watching. She's actually a partner with your ministry. And then I had to talk with her. Since you're partnering with ministry, why not go ahead and give your life to Jesus Christ? Why support the word going out to other people if you haven't received it yourself? She got saved. She came down here to Pittsburgh to get prayer. Six hours from New Jersey. It went through the whole house. You might be the only one saved in your family, but it won't stay like that for long. And if God already saved the worst one, you, the other ones will be easy. Can you say amen? Come on, give the Lord a hand clap in anticipation. Everybody say, My family's coming home. Acts 16, 31. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Paul made it a doctrine. You will be saved. Everybody say, and your house. Now, see this broken, troubled, strife-filled family is listed in Scripture as a curse. Anytime you see Deuteronomy 28, verses 15 to 68, and it lists the curse of the law, everything that's in there does not belong in your home. If you think you're just trying to have it better and hoping God hears you and helps you, then again, there's not much force behind it. When you see that a broken, strength-filled, problematic keeps getting arrested, house is listed as a curse. And Christ has redeemed us from all the curse of the law, then there's a violence that comes up in your spirit. My house will not have these things. Can you say amen? Can't read all of Deuteronomy 28, but here's some of it. Deuteronomy 28, 30. Thou shalt betroth a wife and another man will lie with her. That's called affairs. So there's no affair in me and Adonis' marriage, and there never will be. That's part of the curse. Thou shalt betroth a wife and another man. I'm gonna tell you, I'm not, I don't mean to sound like I'm 91 years old, but I'm gonna say what I'm gonna say anyway. Television and what you watch pre-programs you to think that stuff's normal. Find me any show on television that doesn't have an affair, that has just a happily married couple. The last show that did that was Family Matters, probably. In the mid-90s. Everybody's having an affair. Some shows, the whole premise of the plot is an affair. Now come on, nobody, nobody lives like that. Yes. Yeah, and also if nobody lives like that, you would be shocked how little I care. How other people live is of no concern to me. I have decided, as for me and my house, we're gonna serve the Lord. Can you say amen? Thou shalt betray the wife, and another man will lie with her. You shall build a house, but you won't live in it. You'll plant a vineyard and shall not gather the grapes thereof. That's talking about divorce and settlement. Deuteronomy 28, 32. Your these are all curses. Your sons and daughters shall be given unto other people, and your eyes shall look and fail with longing for them all the long day. Put these up in the NLT, I'll read it in the King James. All the long day, and there will be no might in thine hand. Your sons and daughters, NLT, you will watch as your sons and daughters are taken away as slaves. Now that's not happening in Pittsburgh in the physical, but it is happening. What's the difference if some in Mexico a cartel co-opts your 15-year-old to work for the cartel, or your son or daughter being taken captive by heroin or fentanyl? And you watch them, this is what it's talking about. You'll watch your sons and daughters taken away as slaves to something, and your heart will break for them, but you won't have any power to help them. That verse sums up American families, even in church. My son's on drugs and we're praying, but let me tell you something. If that's the curse, then you can have the blessing, which is your children will not be taken away as captives, and you have power to do something about it. That's the colonel's bad family. If I was a normal pastor, I'd say, Yeah, Lord, just help him to deal with this. We know we live in a crazy time. Those people teach Christianity, like it's just like God wrapping his arms around you while the devil kicks the snot out of you. God gave us power to tell the devil to take his hands off our family. And if you can't tell, I didn't come just to teach this today. We're gonna pray at the end of this service, and every devil that's tried to set up something with your family, they're taking their hands off your children today. Deuteronomy 28, 56. The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not we read another. Can I get it up on the screen that I can read? The most tender and delicate woman among you, so delicate she would not so much as touch the ground with her foot, will be selfish toward the husband she loves, and towards her own son and daughter. Women that God created to be loving mothers will turn into rotten. Watch Judge Judy for illustrations. Deuteronomy 28, 54. It's not just picking on the women. The most tender-hearted man among you will have no compassion for his own brother, his beloved wife, or his surviving children. Go to Allegheny County Court tomorrow and watch a line out the door of men they've had to track down to pay $20 a month for child support, or that are petitioning the court to pay less than $20 a month because they don't care about their children. That's a curse. That's why it's so important that there's a revival. In revival, God said, I will turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children. You think you'd ever have to track me down for money to help Camille out? No, because God puts love in your heart. I'd do anything for her and I'd do anything for her. I give her, I give her, give God all my money, and I give her what's left. And it keeps coming back, so I keep giving more. Because that's God that does that in your heart. But when you go outside of God, you get hard-hearted. Let me see Mark 16, 14. KJV. Mark 16, 14. And Jesus rebuked them or upbraided them because of their unbelief and hardness of heart. Say with me, unbelief and hardness of heart. Our twins. Unbelief. I don't know why you go to that church anyway. I don't think any of that stuff's gonna work. You know, who do you think you are? So it goes from unbelief with God, and then they'll say something about you. I think, yeah, yeah, I just think you just want to be rich. I just think you want to get your name out there. Unbelief, hardness of heart. You become a hard-hearted bastard when you have unbelief. You're mean to your children, you're mean to your wife. Christians treat their wife nicely, Christians treat their children tenderly. And so that is coming back into the hearts of Americans in this revival. The day of having to track down people for child support, getting people pregnant, running off, that ends in this church. There's gonna be power release to restore families. In Jesus' name. If you believe it, can you say amen? If she marries him, I'm not going to the wedding. You're hard-hearted.

You're a jerk. And if you make heaven, it'll be on a bookkeeping air. If anyone claims to love God and loves not his brothers and sisters that he sees, how can the love of God dwell in that man's heart? That's what the Bible says. How you treat people is a reflection of how you love God. Might be the first time in church history someone taught on loving people and used the word bastard in the same sentence, but I did what I did. A broken, troubled, strife-filled family is listed in scripture as a curse. Say it so the devil can hear you. I'm not under the curse. So all these things that they teach you are normal. Don't let people tell you what's normal. Let the Bible tell you how things should be. Christians tell me when I was getting ready to marry a doll, you know, marriage is hard, and a lot of ministers lose their wives. Where's that in the Bible? Where's the Bible verse a lot of ministers lose their wives? Quit telling me. What? How are you a Christian? You try to prepare people for divorce, rocky marriage. You know, when kids turn 13, 14, they'll go out into the world, you know, and there's nothing you can do about it. Give me the scripture that backs that up. Camila's 13, she'll turn 14 in six months. You think in a zillion years. If she went to a party, I'd show up like John Candy and Uncle Buck. And party would be over. Party would be over. What you expect is what you experience. So if people can get, you've heard me tell the story a million times going to Christian school when I was in fourth grade. My teacher calls me out to the hall because she's upset I was laughing, which I shouldn't have been laughing, but I I was ten. I was in a good mood. No bills. Breakfast is just there. So I'm laughing. She goes, Jonathan, come out into the hall. This is a Christian school. It's not good for you to be laughing all the time. One day you're gonna get older. You're gonna have a wife. You're gonna have children. You're gonna have bills. And you're gonna see that life's not so funny. Imagine if I believed her. This would not exist. I'd be home somewhere fighting with her because what you think is normal, you don't resist. That's why if you call it flu season, you get the flu. You're an expectation of the flu. It's flu season. Where's that in the Bible? Listen carefully to the song. It's not it's a flu season, it's a flu day, it's it's a new season, it's a new day. Say it out. Say it out loud. What I expect is what I experience. My mother and father, I wish I could morph them here. But my dad's preaching in California. They expected me to serve the Lord. I mean, I should just pass the mic to my mom's oldest sister, my Aunt Linda, and have her tell you I'm not making up that. I mean, trained. My dad, I was in a service in the Central Assembly of God in Houston when my dad was preaching. I would make him get me a suit, shirt, and pocket square so I could look like him in a Bible. And when he gave the altar call, I went to the end of the aisle and helped wave people forward. I was four with my speech impediment. Jesus will save you. It's like getting saved by Daffy Duck. He trained me. Ministry wasn't his thing that he did, and my mom put up with, and then they felt bad that we had to be at church so much. It's a devil that gets you think you're doing something bad to your kids by having them in church all the time. What an idiotic way of thinking. I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Let me tell you something. You should go up there sometime. Your kids are getting something. They're not watching movies and gluing pretzels to construction paper. Those kids know the Bible better than a lot of evangelical church pastors. We are raising mighty kids. We are raising mighty women. We are raising mighty men. We are raising mighty families. So now that we see what we're not supposed to have, what are we supposed to have? How is a family supposed to be? Genesis 2.18. And the Lord said, It's not good that a man should be alone. I will make him a help meet for him. Genesis 2.18. By the way, that lady that we honored, that we says a single mother, and I said, shoot your shot. If you're like 75, ship sailed. Just go to lunch. Have something that's easy to chew. Number two. Proverbs 5, 18 and 19. Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as a loving hind. Now, how Solomon got any wife, let alone a thousand women or seven hundred, however many had. He had, I mean, if you wrote to a woman what Solomon wrote, you'd get punched. You have a neck like a tower. What's that supposed to mean? You have the feet of a deer. Okay. But apparently in the Middle East back then, that was like women just fond over that stuff. You have the neck of a gazelle. Really? Me? Oh wow. Never thought I'd hear anybody say that. Whatever. He knew what he was doing, I guess. Or it might have been all the money. Just say whatever you want. Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of your youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe. Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times. Very easy scripture to memorize. It's a wonder they never kicked me out of Christian school. I told you about getting caught to the hall. I read my Bible through and I was like, I'd have fun with those teachers. Does anyone have a verse they've memorized to quote? Yes, I do. I've memorized all the verses about boobies. Let her breast satisfy thee at all times in the Bible. And let thou ravished her always with her love. She's a loving dear, a graceful doll. Let her breast satisfying. May you always be captivated by her love. That means you don't change your wife out after you start, after God starts blessing. You know, Adonis was with me when we had to go on forced fasts for no money and no food. And now God's bless us. I'm going to swap her out for some other gum-chomping lady with a big paris that's my second wife. Uh-uh. Stick with the wife of your youth. Can you say amen? Praise God. So God told you that your marriage is not only ordained by him, it should be something that brings satisfaction to your life. Sex wasn't created by the devil, it was created by God in the confines of marriage, because if you go outside of the confines of marriage, there's all kinds of problems. Can you say amen? I feel like I've said enough. Who said yeah, over there? Somebody's uncomfortable. Yes, please move on. How Mary full grace the Lord is with you. Bless right there. Am I going to bless her further there? Oh, Jesus. Everybody say, My marriage is blessed. What else? Exodus 23, 25. What does the Bible say your family should look like? And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless your bread and your water, and he will take sickness out of the midst of thee. Psalm 103, 3 and 4. Who forgives all thine iniquities and heals how many of your diseases? Who redeems your life from destruction and crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies. Physical health for the child of God should be normal in your home. Some of us come from homes. Somebody was always sick. Once they got them treated, somebody else got sick. Because sickness is part of the curse. But healing is part of the blessing. Let me see Galatians 3 13. But Christ hath redeemed us from all the curse of the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took himself upon himself the curse he took. He took the curse. Part of the curse is sickness and disease. How many children's hospitals were in the Garden of Eden? How many cancer treatment centers are there going to be in the New Jerusalem? When sin came, sickness came. It brought a curse. But Christ didn't just forgive our sins. He took stripes on his back and removed our sicknesses and took our diseases. Camila, come here. You be Jesus. Hold all this. Alright. These are my sicknesses. These are my and inabilities. This is my speech impediment, my crooked legs, and whatever else. Man, I'm getting blessed just thinking about God. Braces on my legs, speech impediment. My sister Jessica was born with a defective heart, or as Mickey from Rocky called it, a bad ticker. And uh she didn't look like she was gonna make it. And then they had to stay in the hospital 30 some days. I think my Aunt Linda watched me for part of that time. And my mom's in there, and we don't have health insurance, and my dad's making about 7,000 a year in the ministry. And then now they're 50 some thousand in debt with no way to pay it off. My sister's got a defective heart, has to go for checkups at children's hospital, and then me with a speech impediment. We had nothing. And then a deer, a deer kicked the window out. Do you remember this or not, Aunt Linda? That deer kicked the window out. We had one car, and a deer ran up and kicked the window out. It was like a demon-possessed deer. I hate you. TIFF shuttles were. It's like a deer that had a neck tattoo, gold tooth, smashing windows out. So we couldn't afford to get the window replaced. So my dad electrical taped the window over. And me with the speech impediment and braces on my legs. And you'd have had anybody would have had reason to say, but blessing of God, my my foot. Look at them. You couldn't be in any worse shape than those people are. But if you fast forward a little bit, those braces aren't on my legs. That speech impediment's gone. My sister's heart is healed. She's had two children by national childbirth without problem. My dad is doing great. My mom's doing great. Don't judge a thing at the beginning, judge it at the end of the thing. God's not finished with you yet. I said God is not finished blessing you yet. Hallelujah! It has been erased from our heart. And disease has been a race. No more stress, no more arguing, no more sickness. Receive the blessing of God. If you believe in shot, I'll receive it. You think you're gonna get me embarrassed that I preach prosperity? I've been poor. It sucks. It sucks having parents fighting over money. Told you not to use the red credit card. What are we gonna? That's not the blessing of Abraham. That's American debt system. But God will empower you to live high above all the nations of the world. Where you start now is not where you're gonna finish. Hallelujah! My sister's preaching right now in Montreal, Quebec. They have the largest church in that province. That's right. Because the devil wants you to start doubting in the beginning. That's why the Bible says don't judge something till the end. That was 1983. 43 years ago. What if my dad would have said, after two years, 1985, 1987, 1989, God, I've been serving you, I've been tithing, I haven't given, we can't even live. This stuff doesn't, yeah. Unbelief, hardness of heart. I'll tell you exactly what would have happened. They'd still be in debt. I'd probably be on drugs. I mean, look at me now, saved. I'm barely passable in society. Soon dies just to buy me like 15 minutes before you realize this guy's nuts. This is with the Holy Ghost. If I was unredeemed, I'd be playing checkers with Charles Manson's old cellmate. Eating pieces. Yeah, I'd have had a backslidden father. I was in the ministry, God never provided. I preached healing. My kid had a speech impediment. My daughter was born with a bad heart. We had debt, churches don't pay anything. And then that happens. That's what happened, I think, to uh Billy the Kid. No, it's not Billy the Kid. The James gang. Their dad was a pastor. He got voted out of his church, got mad, left the ministry, and his sons didn't make it to 40. Gunslingers. See, your decisions matter. You're either blazing a path to hell because you got bitter and angry at God, and the devil's in hell gone. Yes. Got him. Or you can make up your mind like Kith Shuttlesworth did. I don't care what you're throwing my way. Tough times don't last. Tough faith does. I'm gonna press into the word and see every family get flipped around. Revival today, church. I tell you, every family is talking to me. Take so many seconds to clap your hands and shut. Let the devil know he's in trouble. Knock the devil out! Can I can I see? Can I see on the screen you can be seated? He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases. If you catch what I'm about to tell you, you won't, you won't, you won't see sickness. Because if you know most people teach God doesn't heal, then if they teach healing, they'll say, When you're sick, God will heal you. That's not what he said. He said, I'll take sickness and disease out of your midst. You can have your last bout with sickness. How many Sundays have I missed due to sickness and disease? How many of you ever seen on the road, Jonathan can't preach tonight? His voice is gone, he's been going really hard. No. There's strength in our covenant. He took our sicknesses and removed our disease. On the screen, please. King James. That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the prophet Isaiah. Saying himself, Capital H took, not will take, not is taken. When did he take our sickness and disease? On the cross, and when he was whipped before that. So it's not going to be done. It was done before you were ever born. He took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. Here is my speech impediment. Here are my braced legs. Here is my sister's bad heart. And Jesus came and took them. So for me to get sick again, how are you going to put my sickness on me that Jesus already took? Unless Satan can go up to heaven and wrestle it back out of Jesus' hands, which ain't happening, and put it back on me, you don't even have anything to put on me. That's why I told that story, but we got a lot of new people coming. When I went to uh Kirindango, Uganda, at the South Sudanese refugee camp. And after on the first night, I said I was only going to be there two nights. I said, tomorrow night, I'm going to lay hands on everybody, bring the sick. South Sudanese refugee camp. And I got back to the bus, and the Anglican bishops said, Do you realize what you said? I was trying to think of like something offensive. I said, I said, Well, I don't remember saying anything like offensive or anything. They said, You know. They said, You told the people to all come tomorrow night, and you're going to lay hands on the people. Some of these people have open source and very rare diseases that there's no treatment for. And some of them have AIDS. I said, then tell the AIDS to be careful. I don't need to be careful. We are not in a contest. Jesus said, anywhere you go and preach, heal the sick. Not if you want to get into that. No. He said, you're not actually even a preacher if all you do is talk and you don't pray for people. You think Jesus is up in heaven? Jonathan, I know I said that, but this is some of these people actually have disease. What a bunch of losers. Well, that was years ago. I prayed for them. I don't have AIDS. I don't think I didn't get checked or anything. But if I did, I was getting pretty fat the last two years. I don't have any disease. I'm healthy. They got healed. Because it's a revelation that they didn't have that I have. I'm not better than them, but I understand the Bible that the same way He took my sins, and I don't have to mess with that, He took my sicknesses. So how am I gonna get them back when Jesus took them from me? He took them. Lift your hands all over this place. Your sicknesses and diseases have been carried away. They have no access to you from today. If you believe it, can you say amen? Where's the lady they told me drove a long way for prayer? Where's the lady that drove a long way for prayer? How where'd you come from? Where?

Corning. I know where that is. What's your background? Do you speak Spanish? With both hands. In the name of Jesus. Wherever you came in here for prayer, well now that I know it's you, I saw the Lord was already touching you. I saw you crying around with both hands. Dios te bendiga. El poder de Dios. El fuego de Dios. He took all your sicknesses and removed. Not will remove in heaven. Has removed all your diseases. Praise God. I pray for I pray for I pray for the guy in that picture. I pray for everybody in your house. In Jesus' name. He took them. He took. Can you pray for me? I just no, no, no. He took them. I would just lift my hands and say, thank you, Jesus, that you already took this thing. Start talking like that. Stuff will dry up. Lift your hands all over this place. Every sickness and disease in your body, in the bodies of your children, medical equipment's gonna start getting taken out of people's homes from today. In Jesus' name. In the name of Jesus. Everybody said, Amen. Physical health for your family. Psalm 103, 3 and 4. Who forgives all your sins and heals how many of your diseases? Now, how can somebody teach my daughter at school that God doesn't heal here, he heals in heaven? Everything's past tense. Bible says in Romans 10, don't say who will go up to heaven and bring Christ down. You don't have to go to heaven to get anything. Heaven came down and brought it to you. And when you call on the name of the Lord, you're saved. Can you say amen? I tell you, you're going to get stronger every day from today. You're getting stronger every day. Praise God. You're getting stronger every day. They'll start removing medical equipment out of your house from today. Your organs are jerking back to life from today. In Jesus' name. Damage that's been done to your body from drugs or a past life, God's restoring you because He's a God of mercy. Say it, I'm getting stronger every day. A physically healthy family. Next. Mighty, holy living, supernaturally intelligent, and thriving children. Mighty, holy living, supernaturally intelligent. Where are you getting that from? How old was Jesus when he was lecturing in the temple? 12. Astounding. It wasn't, wow, wow, that's cute. He's talking about, he's talking about being kind to people. Astounding, the teachers. They never heard revelation like that. At 12. When Christ comes into your uh child when they receive Christ, the Bible says, we have the mind of who? Gotta wait till that's 18 to kick in? Supernatural intelligence. And your kids are smarter than you think anyway. Quit looking at what they're not good at. He's struggling in math. Then have him hire an accountant when he does whatever he's gonna do. Figure out what he's good at. You know, I had a kid, I had a mom tell me, I've had this happen a few times. My son has trouble learning. I said, Oh yeah? I look down at the kid, he's 11. I said, You follow football? Yeah. You play fantasy football? Yeah. Tell your mom, the starting quarterback, on 25 NFL teams. Oh, they could do it off the top, is it? You can learn football. Maybe the teacher's just boring. Why say he has trouble learning? You have trouble learning things you're not interested in, and you have a super easy time learning things you're interested in. Hey, but say my children are smart.

You know, Camila made honor roll last uh two quarters ago and then made it again the next quarter. That's the first two times she's ever made honor roll. Took till sixth grade. She used to get a C, D's, and an F. Now, I should probably share some blame for that. Because up until last year, they still had the COVID rules in effect. So anytime I wanted to take her on the road with me and just wanted a buddy to hang out with, I'd call the school and say, I think I heard her sniffle. I can never be too safe. I think one one year she missed 71 days of school. Yes. I'm not what you would call a good parent. I like hanging out with my kid. So she obviously she's struggling at school because her dad's ripping her out left and right. But then when we put her in school, now let me let me ask you a question. What would have happened if when she brought home her report card crying with the C's, a couple C's, D's, and an F? Yeah, what's wrong with you? How your grades is bad. Your teacher said you have the worst grades in the class. You need to smarten up. She never would have made honoral. Don't talk down to your children, talk up to them. Tell them they're bright, they're bright. Don't worry about it. You'll kick into gear. Whether you do it at 16 or 43, you'll kick into gear. I'm not worried about it. You're gonna do great. You're very smart. And I'll start sending you to school regularly, and your grades will improve. Anyone say, I'll do my part, and my kid will do their part. Yeah, but if you start telling them they're dumb, another thing too. When they come home with a bad grade, why focus on the bad grade? Find the good grade. What are they doing good in? I told you about that in second grade. She came up crying because a dollar slid into her because her grades were bad. She comes up and hands me a report card, it wasn't good. I went, Camila? Yeah. I went, an A in Jim? She quit crying. Yeah. I said, Wow! How'd you do that? Jim, I just line up when they tell me and run here and there. Don't talk to your children like they're dumb. Don't talk to your husband like he's dumb. Don't talk to your wife like she's dumb. Talk up to people. Talk with respect. They'll turn around. Don't let other people tell you what how your kids are. He doesn't learn well. They told my mom there's plenty of jobs he'll be able to do that don't involve speaking. I'm sure there are. But people don't get to determine your future. God has your future. And everywhere you're weak, his strength is made perfect in your weakness. I think I'm done with that. Everybody say physical health. Where's the children part? Isaiah 54, 13. And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord. And great shall be the peace of thy children. Everybody say, No trouble. Say, my children will bring me peace. Yeah, I prophesy that out of the Bible. You're not going to be raising children when you're 63 because your kids went nuts and left their kids behind. Your kids are going to bring you peace. Your kids are going to add something. Can you say amen? Quit listening to all these anti-family MSNBC people. A child over the course of your life will cost you $50,000. I'm not costing my dad anything. My dad's on salary at revival today for $200,000 a year as a full-time pastor. He's preaching in Arizona yesterday and Sunday. It's not family money to be nice. I also give him money out of my money. Plenty of it. I didn't cost my dad. My dad raised me, right? Something was built out of faithfulness, and now he is blessed by his son. Don't let people. Why would anybody? It's demonic. Your kids are gonna cost you money, kids are a problem. No, they're not. When you raise them, the Bible says they'll bring you joy in old age. Your children will strengthen you. I'm telling you, your family is gonna be different than other families in Jesus' name. Can you say amen? Psalm 112, too. His seed shall be mighty on the earth. The generation of the upright shall be blessed. Proverbs 22, 6. Train up a child in the way he should go. Not take him to church. Train them up. Train up a child in the way they should go. And when he grows old, he will not depart from it. I mean, no matter what we do, you know, sometimes they're no. Bible says if you train them right, they won't depart. Proverbs 17, 6. Children's children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children are their fathers. That's your story. I said that's your story from today. Number next, a wealthy home. Psalm 112, 3. Wealth and riches shall be in his house, and his righteousness endureth forever. Proverbs 13, 25. The righteous eateth to the satisfying of the soul, but the belly of the wicked shall want. That means God will meet all your needs. Your household. Say this so the devil can hear you. My household doesn't have needs, it meets needs. Yeah, Jesus said, clothe the naked, feed the hungry. That means you're not going to need clothes for your there. You will clothe other people's children. There's people in this room, you'll not only send your kids to private school, you'll pay for the tuition of another family. We are not in need. We have an overflowing cup to meet needs. Proverbs 13, 22. A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Now, how do you do this? Any sermon that doesn't give you something to do is just theater. I liked it. It is nice. He stands on the chair. What is there for you to do? Number one, close the doors of trouble. The devil can only come through open doors. Here's some of them. Hebrews 13 4. Marriage is honorable and all. And the marriage bed is undefiled. But whoremongers and adulterers, God will judge. Just a nice encouraging scripture before we go to lunch. Closing doors of trouble. Number one, cohabitation instead of marriage. I promised myself I'd never get married again. Quit making promises that are anti-scripture. My first two marriages were rough, you know, and there's a lady out like now, we don't want to get married. Then you better quit sleeping together, or you're gonna go to hell. I was watching a poker live stream on ESPN. And a guy asked another guy at the poker table. They knew each other. Not a sentence you hear uttered much in church, but I said what I said. And the guy said, uh, are you still with that girl? He said, Yeah. He said, How long have you been together? I said, Nine years. He said, When are you getting married? The guy went, I'd never get married. He said, Would you start a business with someone? This is two centers talking. Would you start a business with someone with no paperwork, no agreement, no contract, either party's able to back out whenever they want and take what they want? And the guy didn't catch where he was going to go. Of course not. He said, Well then why would you take those precautions in business and not come into a legal relationship in marriage? The Bible takes it a step further than a legal relationship. A covenant relationship. I'm making September 23rd, 2006. Be 20 years in September. I made a covenant at an altar, not justice of the peace. I don't know, you know, I don't follow almost anybody here on Instagram. So if this feels directed at you, it's not. This is directed at our whole generation that'll pay $30,000 to throw a 16-year-old girl her birthday party and won't contribute $1 when she wants to get married and then oppose the marriage. Stupid. That's why the Bible says give honor to marriage. Because in the last days they won't give honor to marriage. Tell every person that wants to get married they're making a mistake. You're making a mistake not doing it. You need to wait till you're older. No, they don't. The reason other people in the world wait till they're 35 and 40 to get married is because they're all sleeping together. Christians don't do that outside of marriage, so let your son get married. I know this is a novel concept that became a really wild idea uh 35 years ago. Up until then, people were married at like 16. I'm not promoting that. No offense, Amish guy. I don't want you marrying that guy. Does he have a house? Did you have a house at 21? Does he have a savings account? Did you have your retirement at 22? Why are you putting some ridiculous standard on your daughter's husband? Does he love God? Is he an honest man? See potential in people. If Adolus' dad and mom would have put the same standards on me that some of you do for your kids getting married, they'd have talked her out of the marriage. I was driving a car that hadn't been registered in two years. To take her on a date, I stole my dad's car to appear like I was doing better than I did. My dad was preaching, he had to fly to his meeting, and his car was I was living at home. He had a nice brand new SUV. So I took it down to Piccadillas up for a first date. And then I was home before he he uh came home. And I'm telling you, it it sometimes it stinks to have a dad that operates in the gifts of the spirit. I picked him up at the airport, and then he got out of my car and he walked by his car. And he went, Did you drive this car? I said, uh, yeah. I said, you know, they say it's not good for it to sit. He said, I was gone one day. So you never can be too careful. He said, uh, where did you take it? I said, Boston. I didn't have a house, I was living at home. I didn't have a good car. I had a hundred and I had $220 when I took her out on our first date, and I didn't have much more than that when we got married. Took her to a $180 steakhouse, and with my excellent financial wisdom, went, I have $220, the steak dinner will cost $180. Hey, that leaves me with $40. Let's go. What about your bills? Jesus said, take no thought upon the morrow. Worry about that. I had nothing. So if you're gonna put your child's spouse through the ringer and not let him marry, there's Christian families that won't let their daughter marry the Christian boyfriend and their son lives upstairs with his girlfriend unsaved. Don't be a family that puts the screws to the kid that's living right and gives a pass to the one in sin because you want him to come back. Be a good parent. Can you say amen? Say out loud, marriage is honorable. It brings your relationship into covenant with God. And I started to say to do it at a church instead of a justice of the peace, because it's not a civil union, it's a holy union. This is why the gay marriage stuff ticked me off. It's not about the homosexuality thing. This is why. You know, the church, we need to allow marriage between everybody. First of all, marriage is not something the state authorizes that the church performs the ceremony. Marriage does not come from the state. Marriage is God's idea. Can you say amen? And the state can't determine what a marriage is, the Bible determines what a marriage is. And that mentality is in Christians. Justice of the peace, we'll go have some lady that sells crystals on my grandfather's farm and she'll do this. Yeah, you can do that. And you'll have a legal marriage, but the wedding day is a day at the altar to make a public vow that God, we invite you into this relationship, we come into covenant with you, and then God will honor your house. Can you say amen? This will be a church of households that are visibly honored by God. How many people are here, 23 or younger? Don't sleep with people that you're not married to. You wanna go, you wanna you wanna cut out a nice 15-year hard road for yourself? Get somebody pregnant and then deal with it and start playing from reverse. Alright, I guess you're pregnant. What are we gonna do now? Well, you can go have an abortion and go do that and just get rid of the problem through murder. That's not good. That's a bad seed to sow. Or then, yeah, you can do that. Then you're gonna have to start clawing out, and God will help you claw. All the single mothers that are here, all the people that have been in that situation, you understand this is why they don't preach on this at church, because they don't want to make people feel bad. I don't, I'm not saying this for people that have had children outside of wedlock and are dealing. I'm saying if we, because we don't want to hurt people's feelings, never tell the young generation that it's not normal to go, according to the Bible, it's not scriptural to go out on the weekend, get somebody pregnant, kill the baby, and repeat. There needs to be a new generation that keeps their body in holiness and builds a family on purpose closing the doors of trouble. Number one, door number one, cohabitation instead of marriage. Door number two, Second Corinthians 11:3. But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. How did Adam and Eve get into trouble in their marriage? When the serpent came in. Number two, door to close, a third voice in your marriage. Tell your mother-in-law to shut up. You don't make group decisions as a husband and a wife. Jesus said, for this reason does a man leave his father and mother and cling to one wife. You're not ra you don't raise your son when he's 35. He's raised. And like I tell my dad sometimes when he's disappointed in things I do or say, You get what you get. You did your best. I just told, I just told my son, I don't like that his that your wife is putting your kids in public school. Shut up. You're not part of that family. You're part of the extended family, but you are not over your son and his wife or the daughter. And if you're a husband, don't allow husbands, don't allow anybody to be a tormentor to your wife. I don't care what their relation is. Should have a chat with your mother. That's my wife. You're gonna talk to her with respect. Don't ever do that again. You can even do it in Joe Pesci's voice. Don't ever do that again. My uh grandfather, A.E. Shuttlesworth, was pastoring in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Pentecostal Holiness Church. They called a board meeting, and a board member spoke up, item number one on the agenda. Pastor, Pastor Mickey, we feel your wife's skirts are too short to be worn on the platform. First of all, my grandmother gardened in dresses down to her ankles. My grandmother made Anne of Green Gables look like Beyoncé. So when he spoke to my grandfather and said that, my grandfather reached across the boardroom table, grabbed him by his collar, and hoisted him up onto the church boardroom table and said, Make sure you never mention my wife the rest of the time I pastor here. Do you understand? Then he sat him back down. But that's why my wife has happy eyes. And most pastors' wives have too many suitcases under their eyes, and when they smile, their eyes don't smile. Because there's people in the church that torment the wife, and the husband doesn't do anything about it because he's scared the family's gonna leave. And there's husbands that let people mouth off to their wife in their family and make her life a living hell because they don't want to cause any problems. Well, guess what, my friend? You're causing a problem. You should defend your wife. I'm not talking about punch your mother. If it comes to that, you gotta defend yourself, but not first. If your mom swings at you, then talk to John. Where's John from the gym? John. Yeah. Stand up real quick. Just for example, if a mom swung at you, what was something you could do? No, you're gonna say something. You don't have to do it. You just block. Don't let people torment your wife. Don't let somebody butt in and tell you. I've told people at other campuses. I'm sorry, are we co-pastors? I feel like we should. I feel like maybe you might be spending too much time in California. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for whatever I did that made you feel like I value your advice. I deeply apologize. If you follow me online, which I really don't recommend, I have people write stuff to me all the time. And I write, if it's a woman, I write thanks, I already have a mom. If it's a man, I say thanks, I already have a dad. Yeah. Don't let somebody push your wife around. I don't think you should be having your kid play baseball or football. It's too okay, keep it to yourself. You raised him already. Find something for you to do. Can you say amen? Instead of meddling in other people's families. Well, before the crowd completely turns on me, let's keep moving. Don't allow third voices into your marriage. You know, if you're a lady and your marriage has been rocky before today, and you're meeting with some guy for lunch to talk about it, you're on step one of a guaranteed affair. If you're a man and you're not happy with your marriage and you're meeting with some lady from work going out to lunch to confide about your marriage to somebody else, you are in step one of a guaranteed affair. Keep third voices out of your marriage. Can you say amen? Well, let's keep let's keep people getting um stern faced. Door next door. Proverbs 23, 29, and 30. Who hath woe? Who hath sorrow? Who hath contentions? Let me see I know the who has anguish, who has sorrow, who's always fighting, who's always complaining, who has unnecessary bruises, who has bloodshot eyes. It is the one who spends long hours in the taverns trying out new drinks. Proverbs 31, 4 and 5. It's not for kings, O Lemuel, to drink wine. It's not for princes to drink strong drink, lest they drink and forget the law and pervert judgment. Ephesians 5:18. Be not drunk with wine, whereas in excess, but instead be filled with the Spirit. Next door to close, if you want your family blessed, close the door to alcohol. Wow, applause in Pittsburgh. So Stroze is not spoken here. Interesting that that hard-drinking soldier, when he started to fast and pray, and told the Lord, I want my son to come back home. He never heard me preach. Who's ever heard me preach a sermon here on alcohol? It's probably the first I've mentioned it in two years. Mentioned it, never preached on it. And the Lord said, Ease up, cut the drinking out. It's a mess. How many ministers in the last four months have lost their ministries to alcohol? I'm looking forward to meeting the first person that says my life was going nowhere until I found beer. Easy crowd. Then I started drinking, our marriage improved. Started to learn how to be a better father. Cut it out. I'm telling you, now I'm not saying this to brag, I'm telling you what's possible. I've never had any alcohol in my life. And I never will. And I definitely can't now. I had a pastor tell me, he said, so you don't drink at all. Because he drinks. I said, when would I drink that I wouldn't have to show up someplace a little bit tipsy or hung over? I couldn't drink this morning before church. If I drink this afternoon, then I'll be on Christian television with alcohol in my system. Not that I'll be the first. There's people who have been on Christian TV with a blood alcohol content higher than Miguel Cabrera's career batting average, but that's another story for another day. Alcohol destroys judgment and discernment. According to these scriptures, alcohol opens the door to poverty and disorder. Alcohol makes strong in you the thing that God wants weak. If you're prone to fighting and you get a couple beers in you, you get violent. You have uncles at your family barbecue that their weakness is sexual immorality, and if they get two or three beers in them, they start making inappropriate comments to their 14-year-old niece.

Ease up, boozy Susie. Alcohol makes strong in you the thing. If you're prone to violence, alcohol will put gasoline on that fire. If you're prone to sexual immorality, alcohol will put gasoline on that fire. But the Bible doesn't just give you something not to do, it gives you something to do. Be not drunk with wine, but instead be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Let me tell you something. Everything people are trying to get through wine and alcohol, I got more than what they're getting already. By the new wine of the Holy Ghost. If you've got it too, let me out here your hand clapped and your mighty shout. Did you know in this revival, American alcohol consumption is at an all-time 250-year low? And dropping. Number four, door to shut. Being drawn out of God's house by a velo by elevating other things above God, like money and sports. Matthew 6, 33, seek ye the kingdom of God and live righteously, and all these other things will be added unto you. When there's a baseball game and there's church, and you take your kid to baseball instead of church, you are subconsciously teaching them that sports matters more than God. Actions matter more than what's taught. If you have to work on Sunday and you go there instead of church, you're teaching your kids to go after money. No, I know church is important, but you got to pay the bills. That's why we preach prosperity. If you go to a church where they teach you God doesn't give you money, you can't blame the people for going to work instead of church. But when you teach people the truth that God said, I know what's demanded of you in the world. But if you'll carve out now, this is probably not the best analogy to use right now, but when has that ever stopped anything? To drive by those synagogues packed with Jewish people going to church as families. They're not poor people statistically. They're second to um uh Hindus, or they might be just above Hindus for most money in families by religion, is Jewish. They're people with big businesses and big everything, and lawyers, and they should- I follow a lawyer named Ron Coleman on X. He's a Jewish attorney. He has a massive law firm. Every Friday night he writes, go logging off Twitter for Sabbath, and then every Saturday night after sundown, he says, I'm back and starts tweeting. Shuts everything down. They learned to put God first, and they didn't become poor, they became more prosperous. And as somebody that's gone to church that I can remember for 42 years and gone my whole life, all the people that put work first, I don't see, I don't see the blessing. Most of them don't have money, and of the ones that do, let me tell you this, I'm gonna wrap up soon, and then I'm then I'm leaving. So there is late at the end of the tunnel, but I I care about your family. I want to get this baby out from the word of God of what belongs to you as a Christian household. So our plane landed in um our new airport we're at, up in Zillionople. And this guy, I was flying home every night from Kentucky, it's only a 26-minute flight. So I get off the plane, and this young guy that you can tell he goes to the gym and he's like super nice. You can tell he's trying hard in life. He goes, Hey, I don't want to bother you, but can I can I ask what your morning routine is? And I knew what he was asking. He just saw me get off a jet. He just pulled up my SUV, and you look like the picture of success. So, what are you doing? I want to do what you're doing. I said, Oh, you want to know my morning routine? I said, You probably think I wake up like at five in the morning and then have a wheatgrass smoothie and then work out for an hour and a half and then read a book, read two books before breakfast. You think I have some impressive story? I said, Let me tell you something. If you followed me around for two weeks, you would be very unimpressed with me and you would begin to believe in God. Because you would see that there's nothing I'm doing that's creating any of this. And his eyebrows went high. Because it was the exact opposite answer. And I said, I'm gonna tell you something. I said, you can get rich that way if you want. You can strive and struggle. And I said, there's a Bible verse though. Proverbs 10, 22. The blessing of the Lord makes a man rich. And I said, so you can get rich without God, but you can't get that second part without God. I said, Now I'm gonna give you something to do. Find a subtle way to do it. I said, the rest of the guys that land at this airport in their private jets, ask them how their marriage is doing. Ask them how their kids are doing, ask them how much medication they're on, and they're gonna be on a lot, and they're gonna be on their marriages hurting or already broken, and their kids have major problems. I said, because you can get rich the devil's way, but then you have to keep it going, and it's a stress that's too great for a human to bear. I said, but when you serve God, he increases you and he gives you peace that passes all understanding, and a bountiful marriage, and children that are blessed of God. And I'm telling you, what I told him, that's not just for me, that's for anybody that decides to do the part of the covenant. Mexican families, white families, Dominican families, Brazilian families, black families, Colombian families, Asian families. It doesn't matter. He's the God of all Hoopalie. Those are doors that need close. And I close with doors to open that facilitate blessing. Number one. Psalm 84.7. Anybody getting anything out of this today? Psalm 84.7. They go from strength to strength. Every one of them in Zion that appears before God. Can I see Hebrews 10 38? I hope I have the right scripture. Off the top of my head. Nope. Can I get um we have come? We have come to Mount Zion. The gathering of the firstborn. If you do Zion firstborn Hebrews, it'll come up. That was off by what? Fourteen. That's a lot. That's like shooting over the net. No, you have come to Mount Zion. To the city of the living God. This is New Testament. The heavenly Jerusalem. Let me see King James. But yeah come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and the church of the firstborn. When you read the blessings for gathering at Zion in the Old Testament, they are transferred in to the new covenant when you gather in God's house. As hard as it is to get here in the morning, you never leave sad, you leave happy. You can tell on the inside of you, I did something good. I opened a door that facilitates blessing. Because when I give the first hours of my week to God, God blesses the remaining hours. Be in church. Gather in church. Why? Let me see Soul 84-7. What happens when you make church your place? They go from strength to strength. How many of you have ever heard me say from glory to glory, victory to victory, and strength to strength? I didn't make it up, I ripped it out of the Bible. There's a way to go from strength to strength. Do you know how many people I've met 24 years in the ministry? Hey Jonathan, sorry I haven't been in church once. I've been going through a hard time. Say it again slowly and listen to what you're saying. Don't let challenges draw you out of God's house. When you feel challenged, get in God's house and get there with an expectant. That guy I played from New Mexico, if he was normal and got normal results, he'd have said, I am not going to Pittsburgh. My son's not even serving the Lord, and I'm battling alcohol and PTSD from being a soldier. But you know what he made up his mind? I'm not going to wait till I'm perfect and have everything figured out. I'm going to come just as I am, knowing that I can't do it. But as I come into his presence, he lifts my heavy burdens and destroys the yoke of bondage. He's perfecting me in his house. I'm going from strength to strength to strength. The last defeat you saw will be the last defeat that you ever see. From this day forward, you go from strength to strength. Go ahead and take 15 seconds to clap your hands and shout. Be blessed in Jesus' name. Open the door to God's house. Be in church. Number two, Proverbs 11:25. The liberal soul shall be made fat. That's not talking about like a 400-pound guy with a mask on. It's saying, people that are generous. Let me see NLT. The generous will prosper. And those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. Then the Bible says, where a man's treasure is, there his heart will be also. Open the door to giving and generosity in God's house. Because it ties your heart to God's kingdom. We give $35,000 a month to Dad Haywood Mills, and I catch myself following his ministry. My heart's tied in. You ever bought a stock that you never heard of the company before, and then after you bought it, you started seeing it everywhere? Academy Sports. I never heard of Academy Sports. I bought their stock from a guy that I followed, and then it was like I saw Academy Sports everywhere. I was paying attention to it because my money was invested. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be, and your heart follows your treasure. So when you put money in the kingdom, it ties. Ask any pastor. If somebody leaves church, they stop giving about six months before they live. Your money exits before you exit. Before people get divorced, there's not in the last two years, they've not taken their wife out or spent any money. You spend money where you love, and where you put money, your love follows. So giving does so much more than just seed time and harvest, although that's great. I taught on that in the beginning. It makes you connected to the kingdom spiritually. Can you say amen? Number three, open the door to a family altar. Genesis 12, 7. And the Lord appeared unto Abram and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land. And then builded he an altar unto the Lord who appeared unto him. If you read it, Lot that traveled with Abram, that was always in trouble. Pitched his tent towards Sodom. He loved the big city. And soon his tent wasn't just facing Sodom. Where was he living? Where you're looking today is where you'll be living tomorrow. He did that, and Abraham built an altar. Build a family altar. Try as a dad sometime, all these guys that I feel like I'm to be in the ministry. Start with your family. Have your wife and kids come in. You don't have to preach for nine hours. Get a word from the Lord on a scripture and then pray with them. And pray for them. And you'd be amazed what that'll do for your marriage. They would say, build a family altar. The divorce rate in the church is as high as the world. Yep. But the divorce rate among husbands and wives that pray and read the Bible together is less than one in a thousand. That's an actual statistic. Number four, Deuteronomy 6, 6, and 7. And these words which I command thee this day shall be in thine heart, and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shall talk of them when thou sittest in the house. Number four, speaking God's word continually in the home. And if you want to outsource it, put preaching on YouTube on the TV and just leave it on. Put God's word in your house. Create an atmosphere that destroys problems and creates blessings. Can you say amen? Door number five to open. Second Timothy 1 5. When I call into remembrance the unfeigned faith that's in you, it was first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice. Number five, make a decision to pass down faith to your children. Timothy, you've got great faith, and I saw I met your grandma, I realized now where you got it from. It was in her, it's in your mother, and it's in you. Say this out loud. I can pass down good things, not bad things. I'm not asking you to change America today. I'm asking you to make a decision that'll change your house. And once you hit a critical mass of enough families being changed, there is an earthquake in that region. Because all a city is, is a collection of families. Government programs can't fix spiritual problems. They're just going to keep raising taxes. The money never gets to the people. And even if the money did, the money can't solve sin. But when you as a father, you as a mother, make up your mind today in church, like Joshua did. As for me and my house, now we're going to try to serve the Lord. Now we're going to go to church more. We will serve the Lord. Then the devil loses access to that home. And I see the devil losing access to hundreds and hundreds of homes today. And number six, and finally, being in the anointing. Families become strong when they say connected to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. 1 John 2, 20. But you have an unction from the Holy One, and you know all things. The presence of the Holy Spirit, when it occupies a family, no unclean presences can come in. And I feel bad that at many churches there's no altar time. There's such an outcry of the people for it that a lot of churches we're going to start having a night of revival, we're going to start having a worship night because it's so that the thing that gets cut out is the presence of God. And so today I'm going to challenge you right now to make a vow. You can't speak for this assembly. Joshua didn't even speak for the nation that he was in charge of. He said, if you people want to go serve the idols that are in this land, knock yourself out. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. There has to come something alive in you today in your spirit. Say this: I might look like everybody else, but I'm not like everybody else. How the world lives is not how I'm going to live. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Now lift your hands in your seat and let God take you up on that offer. He's not going to wait to see if you do it or not. He believes you when you say it. And as you've said it, so shall it be. Today we make a vow that we're not going to live like they approve of in America. We're not going to live for the approval of American media or how television tells us life should be. We're looking to your word, oh Lord, to see how our marriages are to be and our children. And as you've said, so shall it be. We receive that blessing today. In Jesus' name. We close the door to sin. We close the door to backsliding. We close the door to a weak commitment to God. And we open the door to serve you with all of our hearts. In Jesus' name. In the name of Jesus, you can put your hands down and stand on your feet. I'm going to do things a little differently today. If you're here, is there a way to get the mighty kids to be brought down here? Tell the teachers to bring them down. And Moses, if you read theology books, is our example as a pastor. How do you pastor 3.1 million people? He had to take care of them physically, he had to take care of them spiritually. So I'm going to follow his example. And if you'll make up your mind today that I'm going to make Jesus Christ the center of my home, not something that is in the peripheral. If we have time, if they end up can't, it's supposed to rain Sunday morning, so if they cancel the wrestling match, then we can be at church. If they cancel football, we can be there. If you'll make Jesus everything, the things that people struggle for, and even struggle in prayer for, they'll flow freely to you today. In Jesus' name. You may have come from a broken home, but a broken home doesn't have to come from you. It only takes one person in a family to say enough is enough. As for me and my house, we're gonna serve the Lord. If you believe it, can you shout amen like thunder? As they're grabbing the children, I want to do something. Every head bowed, every eye closed. If you're here, and maybe you had the exact opposite, upbringing is me. Your dad wasn't around, your mom had nothing to do with church, and you're still doing your best to figure things out. But you realize today that God brought you here to be the Judy Shuttlesworth for your family, the A.E. Shuttlesworth for your family, the first one that's gonna break it for everybody. I want to ask you have you ever done the first thing? What I did at the altar with the dollars that began our marriage? Is what you do at the altar in church that begins your relationship with God? A public commitment, a public decision. Joshua called them publicly. I want to know your decision. Are you gonna serve the idols of this land, or are you gonna serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Have you ever done that publicly? Or did you once do it and fall away? I want every man, young man, old man, every woman, young woman, old women, I want you to make up your mind today. As for me, I mean, I'm telling you, you're in church, you made the right decision, but take it a step further now. I'm not just gonna be someone who goes to church, I'm coming into covenant with God. I'm bringing my family into covenant with Him, with the blood of Jesus, as that lamb that's painted over the doorposts of my home. If you say, Jonathan, I want today, the day they dedicate America to God, I want it to be the day my family is dedicated to God. I want the blessing of God in my house, I don't want the curse. And today I make a decision to stand at the altar on behalf of me and my family and declare I'm not serving the gods of this land. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. If you'll make that commitment today, I want you to boldly put your right hand up and wave it at me and as a sign to God in Jesus' name. Keep them up. I'm making a decision, I'm done with the devil. I'm gonna live in America, but I'm not living according to American problems. I choose the blessing, I choose life. Very quickly, everyone that lifted a hand and any family that you have with you. I want you to make your way to the front right now. And then we're gonna pray for you, then we're gonna pray for everybody. Come.

I'm gonna lead you in a prayer to say, but as you pray this, not only is God gonna do a work in your life, as you and your house shall be saved. Your grandchildren, your children, your cousins, wherever they're at, every broken fragment, every missing piece, the Lord gathers them right now. I want the congregation to stretch their hands forth towards these that are at the altar. Say this out loud, Heavenly Father. I've come forward today to give you my life. You ask me a question, I'm giving you an answer. I will not serve the idols of this land. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. I turn my back on sin. I repent, I believe in my heart, you raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth, Jesus is Lord and my Savior. I come into covenant with God, I receive his blessings, I close the door on curse. In Jesus' name. Amen.
