Devotional Fighting The Good Fight Of Faith

1 Timothy 6:12  reminds us to “Fight the good fight of the faith

Salvation, like our American democracy, is worth fighting for – today both are under attack.

We are in a spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to distract, discourage, and deceive us into believing that our salvation isn’t worth the fight.

We are also in a political battle. The determination of the Trump Administration  to bend the American government to his will, has exhausted many into believing that democracy isn’t worth defending. 

In the midst of it all, God calls us to stand firm, press on, and hold fast—not only to our faith in Him but also to the principles of justice and righteousness that shape our democracy.  

Today, as we face dark days where truth, justice, and democracy seem under assault, let us not grow weary. Instead, let us fight the good fight of faith, knowing that God stands with those who seek righteousness. Salvation is our greatest assurance, and from it, we draw the strength to stand for truth.
