Episode 39: Mahalo Lahaina, Mahalo The People

Welcome back, beautiful souls, to another episode of In The 20 Somethings!

Your favorite podcast hosts are back with another episode for y'all.

In this episode, Jerome, Rosa are joined again by the well respected Juan and together, they discuss the recent travesty that occured in Lahaina, Maui. As of recent news, Maui was subject to a deadly fire that killed several dozens people and destroyed a neighborhood, leaving many displaced, lost and broken. Juan gives us an educated guess on the potential result of the fires, seeing as how he currently is a resident of Hawaii and sheds a lot of light on the handling of the fires and how the land is could be affected by it.

As of today, the fires seem to have been quelled and many have rallied to the support of Lahaina but as we know, not everything is what it seems. 

We encourage all of you who are interested in helping to contact your local government officials and demand that they get involved in the restoration of a sacred and beloved land.
