Episode #3 Resilience in Action: Healing from Chronic Illness and Feeling Safe in an Insecure World, Chana and John’s bios demonstrate the power of understanding the nature of resilience and the power of transformation.

About our guests:

Join me for my next podcast with guests Chana Studley and John El-Mokadem who will share their stories of transformation in dealing with chronic pain and chronic illness, as well as surviving the recent conflict in the middle east.

John El-Mokadem and Chana Studley have featured interviews from chapter 6 titled: “Why Hope and Resilience are the Key to the Mind/Body connection in Dealing with Illness” from my new book “Thriving in the Eye of the Hurricane.”

John El-Mokadem is a Breakthrough Coach, speaker, and researcher based in the UK. He has over 17 years of experience working with clients internationally, providing both personal and corporate coaching, training and mentorship services. The transformations John witnesses are often life-changing, as clients gain a deeper understanding of how their minds work, enabling them to experience a healthier, happier, more successful, and creative life. John has a specialty for helping people with various chronic health conditions – a byproduct of his own healing journey from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). You can find out more about John’s work at https://www.johnelmokadem.com

Chana Studley recovered from severe PTSD after 3 violent attacks in the UK and spent the next 25 years combining a very successful career in Hollywood with coaching and counseling people with trauma, addictions, and relationship problems. After graduating from The One Thought Institute in 2018 she noticed that her 25 years of chronic pain had completely gone and so conducted research to discover if she could reproduce this experience in others.  Following the success of 5 case studies, she developed a program called Painless and is now helping clients all over the world with all kinds of health issues and working with doctors and clinicians to introduce them to the Three Principles.

Chana is also an international speaker and author. Chana’s first book, The Myth of Low Self Esteem – a novel about PTSD, Hollywood, and healing came out last year and her second novel about chronic pain and the Mind/body connection will be published early next year entitled, Painless. chanastudley.com
