She notes that this survivor-led approach, centered around education, leadership, and resourcing for women and girls, is the catalyst of community transformation. 

Nikole is a speaker, educator, author, and the founder and international director of Freely in Hope. A native of the Bay Area, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in film production from Loyola Marymount University and has a master’s in global leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. She is trained in Compassion-Based Resilience through the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science.
