All 3, 2, 1. Let's get it. Let's talk about casting the votes today. Lemme start off by saying this. You don't need to win every vote. You just need to win the majority of the votes. That's how elections are won, and this is how you're gonna change your life. James Clear in Atomic Habits says that every action that you take is like casting a vote for the person that you're becoming. Man, I, I totally love this analogy. Every action that you take is like casting a vote. For the person that you're becoming because where you are right now, that's the result of the votes that you've already cast. Most of them, bro, you probably didn't even realize it. Every skipped workout, every late night binge, every time you vowed that, I'll do it tomorrow. Every just this once moment, these were all votes. And they stacked up the votes count. That's the downside. You built a life that you don't like, but the upside, your votes are unlimited and you can cast a new vote right? Now. Here's, here's the mistake we make. We dismiss the small votes. We do like save a dollar or one pushup, our go five minutes in the gym, and we've heard all of these analogies and we just kind of scoff at that. You like, you know, floss one tooth and we're like, whatever. It, it, it sounds crazy. And I'll be the first one to admit that, like there's no way saving a dollar. You, you're gonna have six months worth of savings. It'll take you a a billion years to get there, or that you're doing one pushup, that you're gonna have a leaner body. But here's the thing, the point isn't the result. The point is the vote, and every action you take. Is undeniable proof of who you're becoming. So you're not faking it till you make it. You're making it till you make it with every vote. It's like you're building a case file. It's what you're doing. Like you're a detective in your own life and you're building this case file. Every vote is like another piece of evidence, and you're stacking this undeniable proof of this is who I am. This is how you, you hear about embodiment. You embody the person that you, that you, you, you have embodied the person that you are today. You've adopted the beliefs, the rituals, the emotions, the mindset. It's just you didn't know you were casting. Votes, and you didn't realize that a majority of the votes that you've been casting has led to you, to where you are today. And there may be some strong areas in your life. It's not like you're failing in every area of your life. I'm not saying that, but I'm saying like if you really look at, okay, I'm succeeding in this area and I'm not succeeding in this area, it's a result of the votes. Not every vote. It is just the majority votes have won the result good or bad. It's a result when you begin to bring an awareness and intention to casting a vote. Every vote that you make, it's like you're standing up for yourself. And you're standing up against your former self, the person you were five minutes ago, really? Because the old you is gonna tell you to cave to the crave, to take the drink, to grab the biscuits and gravy. Nope, not today. I gotta cast that vote. Every time you vote for the new you, the old you gets weaker. And that's all we're doing, man. We're just casting votes to strengthen the person we want to become and weaken the person of who we've been. This is a, this is a discipline. Yeah, but when you cast the vote, it's not the hard, rigid, crusty, musty discipline that, you know, you, we, we just get beat upside the head about. I just gotta cast the vote, win the decision, move on, cast the vote. Okay, if I cast this vote, is this something I gotta work out of later? Or is this something I can stack on top of? And if I cast enough of these, like a situation like this, if I cast enough of these, is that the person I wanna become? Cast the vote. If the answer's no, don't cast that vote. Don't cast the vote to reinforce it. Cast the vote to push against it. There's three problems we all face in life. This is why I named the podcast. What's your problem? Three problems. Every vote you cast either reinforces or pushes against adversity, uncertainty, and complacency. It does. So when you cast a vote, you actually weaponize them. You embrace the uncertainty. You're always gonna have uncertainty. You embrace it, cast the vote. It's an alignment. It's in the direction. Direction, it's more important. Speed you handle the adversity, you're gonna have adversity. Laced with uncertainty. I don't know how this is gonna play out. Boom. Let's go Cast the vote. I don't go cope. I don't go self-destruct. I don't go self-sabotage. I don't lash out. I don't blame. Cast the vote and you push against complacency. Oh, double up tomorrow, next month, beginning the year. Nope. Cast vote now. Now starts now. Now spelled backwards is won. WON. All right. Didn't, didn't realize that, huh? So every now is a win. Every vote you cast is a win, and all I gotta do, I don't have to win every vote to win the election of my life, I just have to win a majority of them. This is why say bro moments matter. So here's the question, man. Where do you need to cast a vote today? In your faith, in your family, which is also your relationships and your finances, in your fitness, in your fulfillment? Just pick one and just cast that vote. That's all you gotta do. You're gonna have thousands of moments today where you get to cast the vote you do, so you don't have to get all freaked out and you know you're not worried about the result. I don't worry about that. Time is the ultimate storyteller. Where you are right now as a result of time where you're going to be five years from now is a result of time. Don't worry about five years from now, just cast the vote now. And if you stumble and fall, remember I just have to win the majority. That's it. So when you stumble and fall, you cast a new vote. Cauterize that. Don't sit there and big lip it. Don't sit there with a bunch of regrets. Okay? You broke the streak. Alright. Start a new streak. You didn't have a streak before. Now build a new one. Game on. Gamify your life. Cast the vote. Change happens immediately. The results take time. But see, when I cast a vote, boom, I initiate the change again. And every time you cast that vote, man, you've won the moment and you stack enough of those moments and you win the majority. And if you win the majority, you win your life. So just cast the vote right now. So I'll leave you with this. Where will you cast your next vote and when? Where? I'll leave that to you when? As soon as you get off this episode. Alright, let's get it. Keep it simple. Keep it moving. Never settle. Stay tough. Peace.
