Thym 4 Tea with Mikita
Welcome to Thym 4 Tea with Mikita, a podcast about letting go of the pressure to have it all together and learning to live life on your terms.
Hosted by Mikita—a nurse, storyteller, and wellness advocate— each episode explores the moments that shape us, shake us, and sometimes save us.
We talk about the things that matter: healing, identity, boundaries, burnout, family, self-trust, and the quiet strength it takes to start over or simply keep going.
Expect personal stories, unfiltered reflections, guest conversations, and gentle challenges that meet you where you are and invite you to go deeper.
Because this isn’t just about self-care—it’s about reclaiming your time, your voice, and your rhythm in a world that keeps asking for more.
So take a breath.
And let’s spill some real tea

I want to thank you so much for sharing your time, your space and, of course, your amazing energy with me today, with so much noise in the world and so much happening in our lives. I don't know about you, but sometimes all of that can feel so overwhelming, and that's why I created this short episode as a meditation, to invite you to come home to yourself. You don't need anything fancy, you just need a few minutes, a quiet space and a willingness to show up for you. I want you to let this moment ground you To simply be at peace. There's no fixing, no solving, just being.
Speaker 1:Let's begin by gently closing your eyes or softening your gaze, if that feels better. I want you to take a deep breath in through your nose and hold it just a moment and then exhale through your mouth. Let's do that again Inhale, hold. Let's do that again inhale, hold and slowly exhale out. I want you to do that one more time, and this time, when you inhale, I want you to feel the breath going through your body and as you exhale out, I want you to let your shoulders drop. I want you to feel your jaw unclenching. Start to Relax your hands, let your body feel loose.
Speaker 1:Now I want you to bring your attention back to your breath, not changing it, just noticing it. I want you to let it anchor you to right here, right now. Yes, the world will keep spinning, but this moment I just want you to just continue to inhale and exhale. Thank you, thank you. If thoughts come up, I want you to let them pass like clouds.
Speaker 1:Remember to always come back to your breath, back to the sound, back to your breath, back to the sound, back to yourself. Thank you, this is your moment to be intentional and to be present. If your eyes are closed, slowly open them. Take another deep breath in for me, hold it and slowly exhale out. You've just given yourself the gift of presence. It doesn't take much, just intention and the willingness to take time for yourself. Just know that you can come back to this space whenever life starts to feel too loud.
Speaker 1:Grounding isn't about escaping. It's about returning, returning back to you. I want you to take away from this moment that you are allowed to hit pause. You don't need permission to breathe. You can do this anytime, anywhere. Breathing is the most simplest thing that you can do. You can do it for 10 seconds, five seconds, 30 seconds, whatever you have time for you. Remember the moment you return to yourself, you return to your power. All right, you guys, I want to thank you so much for sharing this space with me. If you're looking to go deeper, I want you to check out the episode titled Letting Go Finding Inner Peace. It pairs beautifully with today's meditation. Until next time, remember to be gentle with yourself, give yourself grace and, as always, namaste.
