Does the world fundamentally misunderstand women? Are women an afterthought of God's plan for mankind? Unfortunately, many cultures and religions seem to think so.  They don't only believe this and other myths about the female members of human society, they act it out and enforce it under the guise of political, religious or cultural norms. The effect on females has ranged from subtle subjection to outright deadly consequences. How did humanity get to this place of perennial misconceptions and mistrust of women and is the church any different? In this episode I lay the foundation for a series of episodes on the topic: The role of women in God's plan for mankind, by examining what God's original intent was for woman or females in his creation.
