And today we are diving into the art of crafting a purposeful morning routine that sets the tone for your successful day. Give yourself the luxury of peace. As you inhale, shrug your shoulders up and tense them and then we're going to hold it and let them down, allowing the tension to flow out of you. I invite you to do that with me now. to help us with an example of a harried morning routine. Meet Barry Miles. A lawyer at Sunderland medical Incorporated, divorced with two young sons mornings are chaotic as he rushes to manage work and kids. Does this sound familiar? Now picture your own scenario. Imagine turning your early hours into a focused time of intention. A purposeful morning routine can be your anchor, guiding your day. And don't worry, even with kids around, like my journey from babies to college kids, you can do it. The trick is to rise before them and get yourself just five minutes of peace. 

What do you need to start your day off the right way? Let's take a look at Barry's routine.  

After he started setting a much more intentional approach. He wakes up but he likes to save her laying in bed before he actually gets up. He happens to be a God lover so he listens to a daily meditation podcast called encounter that has daily meditations. Then he likes to open his combat and listen to the daily Jay by former monk and renowned author Jay Shetty. 

By this time he's ready to get out of bed. While he's in the bathroom, he might listen to inspirational music or his favorite abundance meditation by Bob Proctor. Once dtressed he settles into his meditation routine, often starting by reading a chapter from his Mindful in 5 book as he sits comfortably in a corner of his room. With eyes closed, he breathes deeply opens with a prayer and dedicates five focused minutes to meditate on the day's topic or consider how he will tackle the coming days challenges. Sometimes he crystallizes his thoughts in his journal. 

This tranquil start fuels his clarity and motivation as he heads to wake up the kids. He loves coffee. So while preparing breakfast and readying backpacks, he enjoys the aroma of his favorite morning coffee. When frustration arises with his boys, he recalls his journey to secure shared custody, fostering gratitude for these cherished moments. Aware of the fleeting childhood years he cherishes these times before the kids grow up. 

 So what can we learn from Barry's routine? 

 Start peacefully rise at a constant time having had a good night's sleep. No mad rushes wake up in a way that suits you best. 

Second, tech with intent: Make friends with your phone. Use it as a source of focus not distraction by avoiding immediate emails or scrolling. 

 Third, prepare for challenges: Foresee the day's disruptions, readying yourself to face them without being caught off guard. 

 Fourth gratitude’s power: Embrace gratitude each morning. It reshapes your outlook, even amidst unexpected twists, and 

Fifth, balanced beginnings: Craft a morning blend of personal nurturing and gearing up for the works demands. 

What personal rituals bring you joy and relaxation? Whether it's savoring a cup of tea, stretching or reading a few pages of a book, these rituals can become your sacred moments of self-care. As you integrate these practices, remember that your morning routine doesn't need to be overly complex or time consuming. Even dedicating just a few minutes to mindfulness can make a significant difference in how you approach the day. So, this week, take a few moments to design a morning routine that aligns with your goals, incorporates mindfulness practices, and embraces personal rituals. Experiment with different elements and find what resonates with you.
