You should know the truth. God's truth will free you. I'm gonna talk a little bit today, but the word. We need the word of God. I was sitting there the other day and God began to show me. He said a lot of times we don't get what we need from God because we don't believe the word. We don't take God as His Word. God's word is so important. The Bible said in the beginning it was the Word. The Word was with God, the Word was God. So we got to take the Word, hold fast to the profession of your faith without waving. We got to hold fast to because the enemy wants to steal. He wanna get you off courts. He wants you to get caught up with psychology, humanism, religion, legalism, all this kind of stuff. But all that law, all this kind of stuff. But all we need is the word of God. Everything we need is in the word. When Jesus went to the cross, he fled and died. The new covenant was made. All the things way back there, he said, I come not to destroy, but to fulfill. I'm not destroying, but I'm fulfilling. The things that happened back then, the animal sacrifice and all those things was going on back there. But those things could not remove sin. But when Jesus went to the cross, paid the sin debt that you and I couldn't pay, took our sins, when we accept him as our Lord and Savior, took our sins to the cross. He was buried, he died, he bled, we died, and we were buried. Rise up to walk. I said, Rise up in three days. Out of the grave, couldn't no grave hold his body down. He rise up to walk with power, newness of life. We gotta rise up, walk in the newness of life. No more old man. We live by the word now because everything else is going down. And God began to show me, He said, A lot of times we don't receive our blessing. Why don't we receive it? Because we don't know how to stay in on the word. Everything that you need, Jesus said, I have given you everything. Whatever your needs is, you got it. Like you don't know how to use it. If you got something you don't know how to use it, it's no good to you, it doesn't benefit you. He paid the sin debt. He was willing to die and bleed. And he said, Now, you can come. Come. Whosoever will come, take out this water life freely. Come unto me, all ye that are labored, heavy laden. You're going through so much stuff. But if you come unto me, all ye that are heavily laden, I want to give you some rest. I want you to rest in my word. Because everything else is going down but the word of God. So when we come unto Him and we look in the Word of God, and I begin to look in the Word of God, I say, Lord, this is what you're saying about me. That's why we got to build up a relationship with God. It's so important. The relationship, you when you're in a relationship with somebody, you get to know everything about that person. You get to know, you talk to them about everything. Nothing to head from them. Because why? Because you can trust them, you love them, and you tell them everything. Jesus, I ain't hiding nothing from y'all. I'm letting you know what's going on. I'm letting you know it's gonna be some trials, some fiery tests. You have to go through some things. But I'll tell you what, I will not put more on you than you are able to bear. But with the temptation, he said, I'm already made away. When I went to the cross, I made a way of escape. You don't have to bear. We got to take his way. What is his way? His word. Let his word drill how? Richly. Goes deep richly. A lot of times we take everybody that's word but Jesus' word. That's why we can't get the victory. We take everybody that's word. What do you think about this? What about this? What about this? We need to go to direct to him and say, Lord Jesus. When I get to know him in my secret closet, when you read the word of God, you read the word of God talking to you. Lord, what are you saying to me? I need you to open this up to me. See, we have not because that's not. We don't even ask sometimes. We just take the Bible and just begin to read. And we begin to read, read, read, and we get finished reading. We still ain't accomplished nothing because we still don't understand. And all that getting getting understanding. The wisdom, godly wisdom. That's what we need. We keep on reading and reading and reading. And how many pages I read? How many pages? Ooh, I read three pages. I feel good. But you ain't accomplished nothing because here come the test. Just when you got finished. Did it accomplish anything when you read? That's what I'm talking about. Did you realize that Jesus told you to be strong in the Lord, in the power of his might? He said, What you gotta do? Times that we are living in, keep it on. Don't get undressed, keep on. Because the enemy is throwing fiery dots. It's only the word that will block it. When I look into the word of God and realize those fiery dots that he's throwing at me, man should not live our bread alone. But by every word that proceeded under the mouth of God should man live. You got to know the word for whatever the death comes, you gotta have a word for it. And most times we don't have it. We beg and we plead, but that's not what he said. We gotta get the word. Faith comes. Coming. Keep on coming. Faith cometh. I get into this word. Here come faith. I get into it, here come more faith. I get into the word. Here come more faith. Now I'm able to go to another level. Here come more faith. Faith cometh by hearing, but I got to hear. I can't have no dumbness. I can't have no stoppers in my ears. My heart gotta be right so I can hear. My spirit gotta be right so I can hear. My soul gotta be in line with the spirit. Because the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. We gotta understand that. He's not your buddy, he's not your friend. When he tells you to do things that, if you don't know what the word says, you do things that's under the word of God. The enemy loves him because he already has been already on his way to hell. He wants somebody to take somebody with him. Sin has love company. So he wants to take somebody with him. So he said, Oh, God, understand your heart. You know, you've been faithful, you've been going to church all the time, and you've been reading your Bible, and you know you love praying and praising the Lord. But he never tells you, obey the word when you read it. Nothing wrong with reading the word, but you're obeying it. That's what I'm talking about. We're gonna read some word today. God said, bring you back to the word. Every one of us in here have tested that we're gonna have to go through. And only the word is gonna bring us light. I don't care if it's sickness, I don't care if it's mind-binding, I don't care whatever it is the devil's trying to steal your peace, I don't care what you're going through. But if you can stand, get a word and stand on it. Don't keep on up and down. Well, today I believe, hmm, I don't know what tomorrow. Oh, that thing don't look like it's working for me. Don't worry about how long it takes. He never told you how long it's gonna take. Hey, I don't see no way in the way he told how long it's gonna take. He said, I am the God that heals thee. He never said it's gonna be two days, three days, what? We got to stand on the word of God and allow the word of God to take root. How long did it take that plant to come up when you plant it? You plant some corn, you plant some beans, you plant other stuff. Everything didn't come up at the same time. Some things took a little bit longer to come up than others. So we got to understand that if it don't come today, I believe it's coming tomorrow. The enemy is here to steal. If he anywhere around, he's here to steal. He's here to steal from you. When the thief is around, he's not just around you because he wants to be around you. We all know that. If a thief is around you, he's there. Before he leaves, something's gonna be gone. You don't watch out. You got some stuff laying around. When the thief leaves, you better believe you're gonna miss something. That's the devil. He's a thief. His job is to steal, kill, and destroy. Why? He's doing his job 24-7. What are we doing 24-7? Doing the same we want, read five or ten minutes. I read two or three scripts and now I can go watch TV the rest of the evening. Now I can go play uh games the rest of the evening. Now I can do this, I can do that, watch all these games coming on. Are you in love with the games? Or you love him more than the games? If both of them coming at the same time, which one are you gonna choose? That's what I'm talking about. The enemy will pull you away after you get finished and all that, just like I taught Friday night. I'm talking about the soar when so the seed. So we're gonna read some scripture on the words. God wants to grab a hold of the word, and if you it's up to you. You can you can eat the word or you don't have to. God ain't gonna make none of us, he's not gonna touch my arm, your arm, none of us are. He's here to give us the word. He don't make me do nothing. I do it because I love him. When you fall in love, you you spend time. It's people that in the natural sense, when they think they're in love with somebody, he stay on the phone half of the night and gotta get up in the morning and go to work. Yeah, some of y'all had done that with y'all was out in the world. You know you did. You set up to maybe 12, 1 o'clock at night, and know you gotta get up at 6 o'clock in the morning and go to work. But it didn't bother you because you was in love. When you in love, you don't mind missing a little time because you feel so good when you get up. You say, ooh, you got talking, and then you get to work, you want to talk some more. That's what love is all about. See, when you love somebody, you spend time, you build up the relationship. Now we're gonna look a little bit on this word today, and I'm gonna tell you when you leave here today, whatever you're going through, find a word for it. Start trusting God. Stop trusting yourself. I don't know. Stop going back and forth, up, down, up, double-minded man. Don't think you receive nothing otherwise. You double-minded one day you think it's gonna work, and next day you don't think it's gonna work. That's double-minded. So we gotta do it. I written that here the trustworthy of the Bible. The Bible is trustworthy. You can stand on it, you can stand on that word. Let's look at uh Tari Psalm 19, 7, 7, 8 verse. The law of the law is what perfect. Perfect means complete. The law, spirit of the Lord in Christ Jesus made me free from the Lord's sin and death. The Lord is the law, the Lord is perfect. What does the law do, y'all? Come on, read to me. What'd it do?

Look what the law does, y'all. I'm talking about God's law now. The law of the Lord is perfect. There's nothing wrong with it. You can't find no forward. You can't say, oh no, but that's not right. Because God, I said, trustworthy. The Bible is trustworthy, y'all. Whether you believe it or don't believe it, it doesn't make the word none effect. So he said, the law of the Lord is perfect. When it's saying perfect, that means there's nothing wrong with it. What does it do? When you read the word of God, it is his law. What did it do, Tyree? It does what?

Converting the soul.

Converting your soul, the seed of your affection, how I feel and what I'm gonna do. And your soul and your spirit work together. The enemy wanna mess with your soul if he can talk to your soulish mind and get you on his side. So you won't obey God. You look at the word and I won't still don't obey. That's a change. Sometimes you can look at the word and still don't obey. You understand what I'm saying? Know what the word says, and still won't do it. The enemy that blinded the eyes of God's people. Not all of God's people, some of God's people. That word comes to convert the souls, y'all. The law of the Lord is perfect. Nothing wrong with God's word. It's nothing wrong with his word, but it's something wrong with us when we don't obey. It's perfect. What does it do? It changes my life, it makes me think different, it makes me act different, it makes me walk different. It converts the souls. I think I don't think like I used to think, I don't act like I used to act. That's what I'm saying. It convert it changes things. The law, God's law. The Lord, the Lord is perfect, converting the soul, and what else does it do?

The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

The simple, it makes you wise. Who wants to be wise? God's word will make you wise. Eat the whole road, it'll make you wise. That's God's word. You want to be wise? You can't pray to be wise. You can pray all day long. Lord, I want to be wise. I want to be wise, Lord. He said, Get in my word. Eat my word. You be wise. Because my word is wise. It will convert you how you think, how you act, what's going on. I'm talking about God's word now. I'm not talking about man's word. I'm talking about God's word. It's right there in front of you. The law of the Lord. Not man's law, God's law. It's perfect. Trustworthy. The Bible is trustworthy. We can trust God's word. I don't care what you're going through, you can trust the word of God. It's nothing wrong with God's word. There might be something wrong with us, but it ain't nothing wrong with God's word. God's word operates, it works. But he's looking for somebody that can walk by faith and receive it and accept it. That's what he's looking for. Somebody who will take him at his word and say, Lord, I thank you. That's why we need a word at a time of need. We need a word from God. We need to find a ramen word. What are you saying to me, Lord? How do I come out of this thing, Lord? What do you want me to do in this situation, Lord? Spend time in his presence. He talks and you talk. He talks. It's a two-way communication. He talks and you talk. I ain't heard nothing because you already got your mind made up. What are you gonna do? God ain't gonna talk to you when you got your mind made up. You got to say, Lord, I choose your way instead of my way. His word, the testimony of the Lord, is sure making the wise simple. Just tell us what uh Tari, the red, said what?

This tells us that the Bible is perfect. In fact, the Bible is the only revealed truth in the world, and in fact, ever has been. It alone can make wise the simple.

See, it makes the look what it says to that. Makes wise the simple. You see that? How can we not say God and word something wrong with God's word? It's something wrong with us. Ain't nothing wrong with God's word. Read A's verse.

The statute of the Lord is what? It's right. Ain't nothing wrong with God's word. It does what with your heart? Ooh, somebody got to rejoice the heart today. I believe somebody's heart is rejoicing. When you get that word on the inside, whoo, my, my, my, my. Lord, I thank you. How great thou art. Being the praise of your belly shall flow, rivers of living water. That's what it says. The statutes of the Lord are right. Rejoice in the heart. Come on.

The commandment of the Lord is pure.

His commandment is pure. God's word is pure, y'all. Ain't nothing wrong with God's word. A lot of times people say, Well, yeah, bite, bite, get the bite eye. You just don't want to do it. Do it. And you watch and see you come forth as pure go. Get the bite. Yeah, Lord, this is what your word says. That's why the Bible says, not in man that directs his own steps. A good man's steps has already been ordered. And we got to find a way it is and walk in it. That's what I'm talking about. Your steps have already been ordered. God already ordered your steps. You trying to order your steps. I know the plan I have for you. Plan of good and not even. I want to give you an expected end. I want to give you a hope in the future. Because sooner or later we're all going to leave here and we can have to decide where we're going to stay. Where it's going to be that I turn it home. Is it going to be with him or it's going to be with the enemy? We have a decision that we have to decide. You can make your own decision. Which way do I want to go? Either I'm going his way, take him at his word, or I'm going to listen to the enemy and do what he wants to do and enjoy myself while I'm on this earth. And when I leave here, go hell. It'll be my portion. Hell will be your portion. Jesus coming back soon and very soon. We're going to see the king. We are going to see the king. We got to stay before him. He knows everything that we're doing, everything that goes out of mind. He knows it all. We can't fool him. We can fool man sometimes, but we can't fool God no time. We can stand all day long and say, Yeah, bite, bite, bite. Get the bite right. Too late now. Now's the time. Dress up in the word. Dress up in the word. Stand on it. Let the word drill in you richly. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, but you don't understand what I'm going through. I'm going through so much. I ain't nobody going through what I'm going through. Reason you're going through because you're not staying on the word. Ain't nobody exempt. We all, no titles don't have nothing to do with it. Everybody gonna have to go through. Well, God got a test for every one of us. My test ain't like yours, your test ain't like mine. But everybody's gonna have to stain on this word to go through. Now we can obey the word or we can disobey the word. We can do it right now. We can just God is on the mercy seat right now. But that's why He's gonna be on the judgment seat. Right now, He's having mercy. You He let you do what you want to do. But if you don't want me, then okay. I made a way for you, but it's up to you. But that's why He's gonna be on the judgment seat. Gonna have to give an account. Everything done in this body. Can't fool God. The statute of the Lord of right, rejoice in the heart. God wants to have joy. We can't really I can't serve God when I'm going through this, I'm going through. Oh, I'm worried about this, I'm worried about it. I gotta have some joy. I can't I don't know about y'all, but I gotta have some joy. You I gotta have some joy. If I don't have no joy, I can't do it. I said, Lord, I need your joy. Because the joy of the Lord, I don't have no strength. I don't have no strength if I don't have any joy. And you think that you okay. But if you ain't got no joy, you don't feel like doing nothing. You don't feel it cleaning, you don't feel it cooking, you don't feel like doing nothing. I'm getting up at four o'clock in the morning and I got joy. One time I couldn't get up no four o'clock in the morning. Get up at four o'clock in the morning and do what I have to do. I said, Whoa, where in the world did the time go? Four to seven? Where did it go? My God, this time go fast. Phew, bitch said, yeah, yeah. Yeah, why he said, you know, it's just five o'clock now. I said, yeah, but you don't know how fast that time goes. Mm-mm. I ain't I ain't playing around with this clock o'clock. I'm not playing around with this o'clock. I said, 'Cause for you know it, I know, I know me. I started backing up a little bit and sitting down and doing this and this. No, no, no. I will be won't get here to eight or nine o'clock. That's why I mean not eight o'clock, nine or ten o'clock problems. I said, no, we're not going back. I won't go back to the way it used to be. Won't go back. Okay, go back. Gotta keep moving. Sometimes we I said, whoa, we don't got here 15 minutes early. God, when God does so he in it. When God is in it, I'm telling you, things change. And you don't even realize how how easy when he and then I see here Ella Ken in Ella Kenny, here he be coming up. I said, whoa. I see brother Darren coming up. Whoa, what time is it? It's just quarter seven. Ooh, my God. Where are the cops? Where are the Kelly? I said, whoa. You mean I beat him getting here? Whoa, God, that's that's that's just like God. When you do it, God's way, me and Bishop, we be coming, praying and coming. Sit in front of church and wait till everybody's getting here. I said, I don't want to open the door because I don't want to start opening the door because then he'll look for it. So I just sat here and waited. We're listening. Things on TV or on the radio. Y'all see what I'm saying? But God is so good. I I can't have it. I have to pray for like that. I don't just do it here, thanks. What I do here, I do it at home. It's not something I come here and I praise God. I praise God at home. I can be in the kitchen, I can be downstairs, in the bedroom. It's just something that comes over you. You can feel the anointing that just comes over you, and you find yourself, Lord, I thank you. Hallelujah. Sing it. Welcome to the High Saint Song. And some of these songs I be singing, I said, Where'd that column come from? I ain't heard that song a long time. So I'll be just saying. Right, brother Darren? You sing sometime?

No, I didn't sing with them. No. I sang. Well I didn't never sing with them though. No, they didn't give me no joy. But now when I was in the world, I listened to some of those songs. But I didn't sing with them. I didn't realize I could sing really until I got saved. Because I was too shy. No, I was too shy. I was too shy when I was in the world. Now I got the Holy Ghost. I was too shy to stand up in front of y'all like I am now. No way. No way. I'd be so shy I couldn't even open my mouth. But that's even the Holy Ghost come. Yeah, yeah. I'm on the Lord's side now. I got joy. Unspeakable, full of glory. Okay. All right. See, you're getting some joy too. All right, that's okay. I know you listen. You got a lot of joy too. You're gonna be telling people too. Oh my god, you I can sing some of them old songs. You know some of them old songs, church songs, them hymns. Will you sing it the hymn? Yeah. Wait, we now have to say that the Holy Ghost. Shh. Whatever comes to your mind, just bring on like Lord, I thank you. Most times just praise them. Just give him honor and glory. So look where we at? Let's see where we're at now. Let's see. Enlightening the eyes. They are right, not merely because they are of the Lord, but because they in fact are right.

You see that? You see how good God is? Nobody would have never said that you were shy. I said, No, I guess not. I'll be ashamed of getting in front of people. I said, but that's a holy ghost. I would be so shy. I said, Yeah, I'm very shy. I'm not under the anointing. I can be very shy. That's why I got to stay on it. Okay. The statue of the Lord are right, rejoice in the heart. The commandment of the Lord is what? Pew. Enlighten the eyes. Your eyes are being enlightened. They are right, not merely because they are of the Lord, but because they are, in fact, a right. Y'all see that? That's that eighth verse. Look at it, everybody. Look at that. The statute of the Lord are right. God's word is right. The trust words of the Bible. The Bible is trustworthy. We can trust the word of God. When we read that word of God, we can stain on it. Because God's word is true. I don't care what you're going through, God got a word for you. The Bible says, When the enemy coming like a flood, the Spirit of God in us will lift up a standard. Come against this devil that try to pull you back. The statue of the Lord are right, rejoice in the heart. The commandments of the Lord is pure, enlighten the eyes. They are right, and merely because they are of the Lord, but because they are in fact right. Ain't that something? Now let's look at uh Romans 7 and 12. God is so good. Oh Darren said they just sing with the Supreme. I've been too shamed to sing with them. Oh God. All right, uh Romans 7 and 12. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you. I'm telling you, it'll make you shy. It can't make you want to dance. And come back again and run again. That's what we would do. Alright, let's look at seven. Romans seven and twelve. Romans seven twelve. Yeah, I prayed it. Seven and twelve say what where we are just saying seven and twelve.

Wherefore the law is holy, points to the fact that it is God's revelation of himself. The problem is not in the law of God, the problem is in us. And the commandment holy and just and good. The law is like a mirror which shows man what he is, but contains no power to change him change him.

Wow. Go ahead. Verse 13. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Where are you at? Oh, looking at this thing here, but ooh. Go ahead. Where have the law is what? The law, God's word is holy. Set apart. Point to the fact that it is God's revelation of Himself. You want to know about God? His law. His word. Revelation. Holy. The problem is not in the law of God. The problem is in us. Is there anything going on that's not right? We can't point to the word. Oh yeah, but it wasn't for that word. I wouldn't have done that. No. Ain't nothing wrong with the law. But it was something wrong with us. We couldn't keep it. What's the problem? The commandment holy and just and good. The law was just and good. We couldn't keep it. We tried. It wasn't for to remove your sin. The law was not there for that. It was there to show us. That's just like the mirror. When you go look at yourself in the mirror, that mirror is not there to comb your hair, the brush your teeth, or whatever it is. The mirror is there to show you what you need. And that's what the law is all about. Show you what you need. The law is not there to clean you up. It can't. Impossible. But it shows you that you need Christ. It points you to Christ. What Jesus did on the cross. The law will point you to what? The cross. That's what the law will do if you want Jesus. So it says that wherever the Lord is, the Lord is holy. Because the Lord is of Jesus gave the law. Point to the fact that it is God's revelation. That's God's revelation of Himself. You want to know more about God? Read. You go read the Bible and you've learned who all about who Jesus is. The problem is not in the law of God, the problem is in us. If anything going on we don't understand, it's us. Don't put it on God. Well, if it wasn't for that, they made me do it. No, anybody made it. It was in you. It was already in you. That thing that was already in you. And the Bible is that scripture in James, I believe, of Peter, whatever it is, that thing that uh that lust thing that came forth because it was already in you. And it came forward to bring forth death, and the death brings forth sin. Whatever that you know what I'm talking about, that scripture. What's in you gonna pop out of you when you get upset? And the commandment whole and just commandment, God command whole and just the law is like I just said that. The law is like a mirror which shows me what he is, but contain no power to change him. The law can't change us. It can't. All right, let's look at 119 and 130. I'm just giving you some words, some scriptures on the word. And y'all can start finding the word for yourself when you're going through these tests. Stop crying. Say, Lord, I need a word. I need a word I can stay in on. And stop letting the devil keep fooling you and say, because God can't lie. If God can't lie, then you know God's able to do exceedingly abundant, more than you can ask or think. He can't lie. That's the place we got to get to the place where we trust him. That's our problem. We gotta trust God. God, He got this word here for us to trust Him. You going through all that you're going through and you don't want to trust Him, He the only one can bring us out. Can't nobody just bring you out by Jesus. I don't care how much you talk to people. People can kind of encourage you, but can't man can't bring you out. It takes the word, they just like medicine. If you got a cold or something like that, okay, somebody encouraged you with your cold, but you're gonna take some to get rid of the cold, the coughing, the coughing. You can talk to somebody all you want, it ain't gonna stop the coughing. Right, Ella Kennedy? That's not gonna stop the coughing if you're coughing. And you can talk to I can talk to Ella Kenny and say, Guess what? Whoo, I got this cold. He can say all you want, well, you got a cold, you need to go take some food. You see what I'm saying? And you can't you can tell me all you want, or it'll go away. It ain't going nowhere. Y'all see what I'm saying? I gotta take me, well, you need to take some food so it can go away. So what would I need? I need to trust God. And that's what we need. Trust God, what are we going through? Now I was coughing so bad one time, I don't even know when how when it left. I don't cough like that now. But I was coughing for a while, almost a whole month. Because the doctor told me, he said, it's not gonna go over that quick. It might be a while. I said, Whoa, how long? I don't even know when it left. Now, if I sleep with the window open or the fan on at night, then sometimes I wake up coughing or something like that. But I don't cough like I would. I would cough it'll let my whole inside would come like one time. I said, Whoa. Sleeping with the windows open and stuff. All right, where are we at? 119 or 130. God is the only one who can help us. We might as well just give up and give it to God. Lord, I tried it, it didn't work. My ways don't work. It's your ways. We gotta just give ourselves to God. I have to do it. Who I think I don't like. Do you think I like getting up in the morning walking all the time? I know Bishop don't deal, but he gotta do it. We we get out there and we walk. He walked with the walker. I'm walking, I could walk, he's walking first, he can walk and come back, walking first, can walk. We gotta get out there. Well, you just can't sit in the house and don't do nothing for yourself. God will tell you what to do. Then it's up to us what we do about it. If you got something going on in your body, God will tell you exactly what to do. Sometimes he'll lead you to go to the doctor. Other times he might lead you to take something or whatever it is. But you got to hear. If you don't have a relationship with him, if you don't not been spending time in his presence, you're not gonna really hear what he's saying. And then whatever he tells you, you're really not gonna believe it. Why aren't you gonna believe it? Because you ain't been hearing. You ain't been spending time in his presence. But when he tell you go to the doctor, just like at the time when I had to go to the doctor that time, I said, it's time for it. I got it one o'clock in the morning, it's time for me to go to the doctor now. God let me know it's time to go to the doctor. I went to the doctor. But whatever I'm saying, you got to hear. If you don't hear, you're not gonna move. Because oh, I went over there and all them people sitting in there, and God just let me bypass all those people. All those people. Bypass all of them where I had to go. So let's go. Where are we at, Tyre? 119, 130. It is so good. So I'm gonna say it's so sweet to trust in Jesus. Just to take him at his word. Hallelujah. It's so sweet to trust. You don't know how much you miss when you we don't even realize how many times I tell bitches sometimes, I don't know how many blessings I done missed by not certain things when I wasn't trusting God. I don't know how much stuff I miss. You miss so much when you don't trust God. When you started trusting God, I'm telling you, you'd be surprised. He cares for us, he loves us so much. He wanted a father, want to help his son. He said, We are sons of God. He wants to help us. He said, Come unto me, all ye that are leaving. I want to help you. Take my yoke upon. Learn of me. I want you to learn about me. Because when you learn about me, you'll trust me. But if you don't know me, you're not gonna trust me. See, if we don't know him, we're not gonna trust him. And then that enemy comes and brings false doctrine, false this, false that. And we believe it because it helps with our flesh. See, the flesh wants to hear that. But the thing that with God, you got to really see through the spirit. You gotta see through the spirit. It sounds rough, it sounds hard sometimes. God, God don't want me just like Adam and E. God don't want me to be wise. He probably said, God don't want me to be wise. When God tells us something, a lot of times it don't sound, it always, that's why I know a lot of times it's God. When God says something, it always comes against the flesh. Most of the time, if you look back over your life, when God told you to do something, it came against your flesh. It was something that you really didn't want to do. But you did it because you knew there was God. It didn't ever happen to nobody here. You did it because you knew it was God. It comes against your flesh. You don't want to do it because when you were in the world, you were selfish. We all were selfish. We was we were a mess. And sometimes we want to pick up those same ways. I don't care what nobody said. Nobody tell me. I'm grown. Nobody tell me nothing. That was the spirit that we had when we were in the world. Now, all at once, we humble ourselves down and say, Lord, forgive me, please forgive me. You got to realize when God tells you to do something, it always comes against your flesh. You don't want to do it. You said, God said, Well, I want you to do like you might be in the grocery store. God said, Treat that person. Buy them, they don't have no money. I have blessed you. You when you was in the world like that, you said, No way. Let them get out and get a job. But if God said do it, you gotta do it. So that's why I'm saying we miss out a lot of time because we're looking at it like we did when we was in the world. I don't have to do this, I don't have to do that, I don't have to listen, I don't have to do that, I don't have to do that. But God see everything, know everything. I said, Lord, forgive me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, forgive me. So we have selfish. Everybody, when we were in the world, we were selfish. Every one of us in here, if you look back over your life, we all were selfish. It was all for me, myself, and I. Anybody else have that way when you were in the world? Me, myself, and I. You want everything to go your way. Me, myself, and I. I don't care what nobody said. I'm not doing it. Me, myself, and I. But now we got to back up and say, Lord, I don't want my will, I want your will to be done. You know, when Jesus went to the cross. Do you really think that's why he said, Father, he could, is it any other way? But when he came to himself, he said, Okay, it's gonna be rough. I know I feel this pack, being packed, but not my will, but thy will be done. Do you think he didn't feel the pain, the suffering he was gonna have to go through? Same way with us. We know that we're gonna have to go through some things. So I said, Lord, I don't want to be like that now because I don't want to go back to my old ways. I had enough of that when I was out there. I don't want to go back that way. I want to be different now. I want to be more like you. I want the fruit of the spirit to begin to manifest in my life. I want to produce fruit now. I don't want to be producing all this other stuff, this selfiness and all this other stuff and hateful and this and that and that. Can't nobody tell me nothing. I don't want that. Show me your way. So, where are we at, Tyree? One nineteen and one thirty. Oh, I tell you, Lord, God's gonna have to work on some of us because we done been like that too long, and we come on this side, we want to do the same thing we did on that side. We can't do it. It's two different, it's two different kingdoms. That was the kingdom of darkness. Now we're in another kingdom. It's just like if you go to China somewhere, you can't do the same thing there that you're doing here. You got different rules. That's why I was saying last night when what's called talking. I said myself, you're talking about that's about your president. It's your president too. When you had yours in there, they didn't do right. So how are you gonna say that? You know, that people get so upset. I'm talking about Christian now. I'm not talking about uh the world. You we know what the world's saying. But when you find yourself getting out of God and gone and listening, doing the same thing the world's doing, you know somewhere you have backslid. You have backed up from God. You're not doing what God said do. Because God said, Be kind, tenderhearted, one to another. He never told you to do that, point your finger. He never told us that. We take, we let him do his job and we do our job. Overcoming you, we good. That's what we do. Oh boy, I don't have it. Oh, I got you. 119 and 130. Let's see what this says. Lord, I thank you. But he said we got to stay on his word. Get that word in you and stay on 119 and 130.

The entrance, his word is the entrance, it gotta go in your heart. It gives light, it light up. It can bring me, bring, bring me back to that scripture. It says, Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my past. God's word will show you where you're at. I'm right now because the light on here, I can see where I'm standing. I know if I go to the end of the thing and I walk over, I'm gonna fall and hurt myself. If it was dark in here, I couldn't see. You see what I'm saying? I could walk over that fall and hurt myself. But that word, now when I'm walking, I see I can walk to the edge. It's a light, it shows me, don't go no further. Step down or you won't hurt yourself. That's what the word is. The word is a light to our lamp to our feet and a light to our path. It shows you where you're at and where you gotta go. See what it says here? The entrance, that means the word goes in. The entrance of your words, not one word, but all his words. Gives what? It gives what? Light. It lights your past. It shows you where you're at. Now he don't make us do nothing, but he shows us where we're at. It gives understanding unto the simple. You know, some people you say, that person's so simple. It's just so simple. But when I look at simple, it means it's just so simple. Anybody can understand it. When I look at simple like that, that kind of simple. It's so it's so simple. Why can't he understand that? Why can't he see this? You ever seen people like that? You say, Why can't he understand that? Can't he see this? Can't you see that sign right there? It's just so simple. Right there, they can't see it, but the eyes are blind. So he said, Your word will give light, it gives understanding. Until the simple.

The word simple means sincere. Those that are sincere. What go ahead? To the sincere heart, God will reveal himself.

To the sincere heart. If you read it sincere, I want to please you, Jesus. I don't want my ways, I want your ways. It's not about my ways. If you're sincere, now God knows whether we're sincere or not. If we're sincere, then what he said he'll do to us, he will reveal himself. We just got finished talking about the last week. You want more, he'll give you more. Now see, now since she just read it to the sincere, that means you're sincere, I want to do what's right. When you want to do the right, God said, Well, heart, you want to the sincere heart. That God looking at the heart, He's not looking at the eyeside. You have a sincere heart, God said, Well, I will reveal Himself. Almost let that scripture call upon me. And I will show you great and mighty things that you know not of. Revelation knowledge. God said, I want to give you revelation knowledge. I want to give you, I want to reveal myself to you. I want you to see who I am. I want you to get to know me. Because somebody told you, just like he told Joe. I want you to get to know me all this time. You had to go through all this because you didn't know me. That's all I was trying to do, get you to know me. Know my ways. Joe was going to church and everything. I'm sure he had his big Bible and everything, and praying for his children and all that. You have thought that he was a man of God. Oh my God, he gotta be holy. But he didn't know God. Y'all see what I'm talking about? He didn't know Jesus. It's not about going to the building, it's about your heart, a heart that was beat after him. Everybody said, David's a man's heart that was beat after me. Everybody said, Well, David did this, David did that. But David had a heart. When he did something, he asked God to forgive him. He didn't stay there. See, a lot of times we do say we don't come back and ask God to forgive us, or we don't ask, so we do something to somebody, we don't come back and say, Well, I'm sorry, forgive me. We got too much pride. But David didn't have any pride. He said, Lord, restore to me the joy that I once had. So that means one time he did have joy. But now all at once, when sin comes in, you don't have no joy. It's just emotion thing now. You just emotion. Yes, hallelujah. But that's nothing but emotion because you're not living it. When you live it, it's something different when you see God's word and you can pick it up and live it. When you live God's word, it's altogether different than just reading God's word and say, I read two chapters, I read three chapters. It's something happening on the inside. You know, you just please, you're just so pleased with God. You know, even though everything's not working out the way you think it should work out. But you should so please with God. Sometimes I said, Lord, I said, if I could go on vacation and stuff, I said, this and this and that and that. I know Bishop would like to get away and all this, but you gotta go back and forth, back and forth. So when you get out of town, you gotta turn right around and come back. I said, Lord, one day you're gonna work this thing out for him. I said, we just doing what you call us to do. I'm not gonna get upset with you because this happened or nothing. You see all things, you know all things. My job is to stick with him, do what I can for him, help him as much as I can. We pray together and do the thing we need to do. Whatever we can do, we do. So what I'm trying to say is, you can't say, well, well, some people get mad, well, fussing, well, we can't do that, we can't do that. Stop worrying about what you can't do, do what you can do. That's the main thing you do, what you can do. So it's very important. I don't get mad with God because He's teaching me something. He's teaching me that you can't have your way all the time. You got to take his ways. He teaches a lot of things people want to do. You all see what I'm saying? We gotta praise him while we're going through our testing. We can't just praise them when everything's going good. Anybody can praise him with everything going good. But you can't do it if you if you don't love God, you can't do it. You can you get vexed with God, you'll be surprised how many people is mad with God. Because God didn't open that door they want them to open. Or God didn't move fast enough. You'll be shocked at the people. I gotta forgive God. You got because God ain't done nothing. What do you mean forgive God? What have He done? He haven't done anything to us. We done everything happened. We did it to ourselves. Most of the time, what happened to us? We brought it on ourselves. That you're like me. If I eat the wrong thing, I'm gonna bring it on my sickness on myself. If I go back eating this. Eating that and eating that. I can't do it. I know what'll happen if I go back eating it. So I don't go there. Something saying you got to be willing to give up. You want deliverance, you want peace, you want joy. You something you have to let go. The entrance of your word give light, it gives understanding unto the simple. The word simple means sincere. The law, okay. The law, the Lord, is perfect, uh, complete, entire, trustworthy of the Holy Scripture. Let's read John 3, 33. Our faith believe in God because God is true. See, we can't lay back and don't do nothing. We got to do something for ourselves. God said, No, get up from there. You ain't even trying to help your own self. Get up. Then he makes us get up from where we are. And when we started moving around, that's why you feel so good. You say, ooh, should have been done that a long time ago. 333. Let's see what that said.

John three thirty-three. He who has received his testimony refers to all who have believed on his name and accepted him as Lord and Savior, has set to his seal that God is true. Go ahead. Has to do with man receiving the witness of the Son of the Giver of eternal life, as the witness of Jesus is true in every respect. Such portrays that God is true to his word.

When you start reading the Bible, sometimes you don't even realize how you've been reading and reading, and it gets so good to you say, Wow, I didn't mean to read this much, but you've been on read so far, in it. And then you God began to show you saying as you began to read, you read so you can see. Show me me, Lord. What are you telling me, Lord? What are you what do you want out of me, Lord? You talk to him while you read.

The cross would make all of this possible. Read four and see what they say. I have glorified you on the earth. Verse 4. Proclaims Christ carrying out the will of God in all things. I have finished the work which you gave me to do. The work was the cross of Calvary. He was so much committed to that work that he could call it done, even though its conclusion was a few hours in the future.

John 17, 17. Sanctify them through your truth refers to the word of God. It alone must ever be the criteria for all things. Your word is truth. Means that the Bible does not merely contain truth, but is truth.

So you see what he's saying here? How are we being sanctified? How are we being made holy through the word? That's why the word is so important. That when we read the word, we say, Lord, show me me. Teach me your ways, Lord. I can't do it in my own strength. I can't live this life in my own strength. We have to ask God. And we have not because we ask not. Teach me, Lord, how to live for you, how to walk in the spirit that I won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. Because my flesh wants to act up. But I want to do it your way, Lord. Teach me your ways, oh God. We have to ask God that. We don't ask God that. A lot of times we don't ask, we have not because we don't ask. And God, He said He would not put more on us than we are able to bear. If we could do things on our own, we wouldn't need Jesus. You can't do it on your own. You might want to do it. You might say, I want to do this, I want to do that, but I can't do it on my own. I tried and I fall flat on my face every time. I tried and then two days later I gave up. I can't do it.
