We're going to talk about the different parables. Jesus talked about the parables of the sower and the word of God. And it's very important. It's good that we can come to the building, but it's so very much important that we come to hear the word of God and we leave here and we begin to walk into the word of God. Begin to move by the word of God. Allow the word of God to direct our lives, allow the Holy Spirit to do it. Because it's not about us. No flesh is going to glow in his sight. No flesh, my flesh, your flesh, no flesh. It will not glory in God's sight. So we have to allow him to be led by the Holy Spirit. And all that we do, he got to be in charge. If we don't let him be in charge, the flesh is going to be in charge. One or the other. And we got to allow Jesus to be in charge of our lives. And like I said, not all of us come into the building. It's good so you can hear. So you can go out and do what God calls you to do and be what God calls you to be. God called each and every one of us, He has a purpose for our lives. And without this word, you can't find his purpose. Jesus is the word, y'all. So when you read this, you read in Jesus. Jesus is life. The word is life. It puts life in you. You know, you have a dead spirit, the word will bring life. When you begin to read the word of God, something begin to radiate on the inside of you. After a while, you begin to feel the very presence of God and you begin to walk in it by faith. Lord, I thank you. Your grace, your mercy, your goodness. That's what I'm talking about. Thanking God for what He has already done. It's a done deal. It's finished. When He said it is finished, everything you and I will ever need in this life has already been paid for. But then it's up to us to get into the Word of God and receive what God has for us. When a person goes to the doctor and the doctor says, okay, I'm going to give you a prescription. We have no problem at all listening to the doctor, giving us a prescription. We go run the filled prescription. We have enough faith to believe if I take these pills or whatever I take, it's gonna work. We don't have no diet. We can't wait to get to the drugstore or whatever it is and put it in the prescription. And get home and begin to take it. We don't take it home and just lay it down, y'all. Come on now. But we take it home and we begin to open up whatever the bible is. We open it up and we read it. And we look at how many I'm supposed to take. One, two, three, what is it? How many of the day? We try to go right upon the God line. And what I'm saying now, that's in the natural, but in the spiritual, there's the same thing we gotta do with the word of God. We read the word of God and we cannot go by what the word of God said. Whatever he said do, he said, as not a killeth, believe. Hey, all things, not something, all things. And I don't care how bad the situation is, all things are possible to them that believe. God don't have no respect to person. He the same today, yesterday, and forever. He don't change y'all. He the same. He looking for that man, that woman, that boy, that girl, that he can show himself strong on their behalf. Will that be you today? How can I get there, Lord? Get into this word and let the word get in us. Allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us, guide us, direct us. Jesus is the source of the cross is me. All that he accomplished upon that cross when he said it's not gonna be, but it is already taken care of. I paid the sin debt that you couldn't pay. I conquered the enemy that you couldn't do. But because I conquered the enemy, now all you gotta do is fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life. That's all we gotta do, and get this word. But if we don't have this word, we ain't got nothing. What are we gonna do? How are we gonna enforce it if we don't know what it's saying? So tonight we're gonna talk a little bit and how the enemy come to steal. That's why Jesus was talking to these disciples here and talking to the people. He always, Jesus spoke in parables, giving them things, the natural things, to show them the spiritual things. That's what he was doing. But the enemy, uh the people who don't know Jesus, they would never understand it. They can't understand that the spiritual things. And that's why the disciples began to ask him later on, why do you speak to us in in parables? He has a purpose. Let's start it. Let's start the first verse on Tyree.

And he began to teach by the seaside, and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship and sat in the sea, and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land. The first two and he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, Hearken, behold, there went out a sower to sow. And it came to pass as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

Now look what happened. He's talking about the word of God. The man or woman told the word. I'll bring it down to us. The man or woman of God teached the word, so taught the word. And what happened? It came to pass. He saw some fell by the wayside. You have different ways of the word, how the word operates in this lesson, the parable. And what happened? It fell by the wayside. When you think about the wayside, it in some kind of way that word didn't go deep enough. So it said fell by the wayside, some fell by the wayside. What happened when it fell by the wayside?

And it came to pass as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

See, it's the fowls of the air, came and devoured it. If the seed does not get in your heart when it's been taught, if you don't allow that seed, which is the word of God, the word is a seed, y'all. And that seed will grow if you will let it get in your heart. In the natural, a seed, if you just sow it and don't put it deep enough in the earth, the birds will come along, peck, or whatever it is, and get that seed. They come along and take that seed. And that's the same way it is with it, as it is in the natural, so is it in the spiritual. If we don't allow God's word, we can sit in the in in service, church services every day of the week and don't allow that word to take root in our heart. That word to go deep so it can take a build a foundation where that word will go deep enough that when the enemy comes in like a flood, Spirit of God ended up with lift up a standard and let the devil no way get off because you know who you are in Christ. You will recognize who you are in Christ, and the enemy can't fool you when you stand this word and that word gets in your heart because out of the abundance of the heart, the might will speak. When the enemy comes in like a flood, Spirit of God on the inside will lift up a standard, let the devil know that's not God. I don't have to listen to you. You're not my master. But if you don't know, it's like in the nature, that seed, you sometimes people too lazy to go out there and dig up all the weeds and all this stuff all around, and they just plant on top of all that stuff, and they wonder why it's not growing, wonder why they go back to look for it. Sometimes they don't even see it no more. The birds came along and ate it, packed it, ate it up. But when you take time to dig deep and plant that seed in the ground, and after a while you see it begin to germinate, you see it coming up little bit by little bit, little bit by little bit. And you feed it what it needs. So we got to feed our spirit what it needs. It needs the word of God. We gotta feed our spirit to what Jesus said about us. He's telling us who we are. We gotta know who we are in Christ. We have been delivered from the powers of darkness. We have been translated to the kingdom of light. We are not in that same old kingdom where we used to be at. Where the enemy tells us what to do, and we did everything the devil told us to do. So, like just like in the natural, that's why he spoke in parable. He showed them the natural to so they can understand the spiritual. That's what Jesus was doing. Some fell by the wayside and represented the Satan and his demon's power. He came along to steal the devil. You got to realize that if you don't get that word in your heart, I don't know. You can say all you want to. I went to church today. I read my Bible today, I did this today, I did that today. But if that word doesn't sell in your heart, the enemy is going to steal to see it. And when you look for it, it's gone. You wonder what happened to what happened. Why I couldn't go through that test? I went through that test. That seemed like it was an easy test. But I didn't go through it. Why? Because the word didn't go deep. It got to grow. We didn't allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify us through that word. So now that's why he said something fell by the wayside. So you see that one fell by the wayside. It really didn't do them no good because they lost it. Soon as they left the building. There it is. And then that's soon as you leave church. That's why you find people a lot of time to go to church and they're excited when they're in the church. Oh, hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus. Glory, hallelujah. All these things. Soon as they leave out of the building, sometimes before they even get home, they done got into something they shouldn't be getting into. Wrong thinking. When wrong thinking there, wrong action takes place. How a man think, so is he. And so man think. That's why we gotta think truth. We gotta think like Jesus thinks. We got the mind of Christ. We gotta realize we got his mind, the mind of Christ. So we think like him. He don't think of the thing that the devil's gonna do this to me. Oh, that's gonna happen to me. He don't think dice and unbelief. Because he is the word. Alright, let's go to the next verse. Let's see what we verse what? That was four. Let's go to five.

Mark four and five. And some fell on stony ground where it had not much earth. And immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth.

See that? Some fell on stony ground. You can't plant nothing on the stony between stones. You're gonna choke the word. So that's why it's saying here something fell on stony ground and it sprung up because it had it had no depth. It came right up. It didn't take root because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up, it would happen. When the sun came up, read that.

Verse six. But when the sun was up, it was scorched. And because it had no root, it withered away.

Wither. Y'all see uh plants and stuff just wither away. You plant like like right now, people plant it uh flowers and stuff, and if they don't plant it the right way, put that fertilizer there and put the things that they need to put there. That's why it goes there. You look at it, it wither. It's dying. Because you ain't planted, you ain't put the right soil on it. You gotta have the right soil. To grow, we gotta have the right soil. To grow for us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of God, it's gonna take this word, it's gonna take spending time in God's presence, it's gonna take uh separating ourselves from the world, and don't do the things that the world does, but do this, look at this word and see what God required of us as a child of God. Present your bodies. That's what he said. A living, not when you did, sacrifice. We sacrificed our bodies, a living sacrifice. He wanted our bodies to be set apart for him, holy, acceptable unto God, which is it got to be accepted, all kinds of sacrifices being offered up. But it's acceptable, holy, acceptable unto God. It's just your reasonable service. Then he also told us, be not conformed, don't be like the world. When he said world, he talked about the world system. You know, he's not talking about, you know, you got to live in the world. You're gonna be around uh people, unsaved people, but you don't act like them, you don't talk like them, you don't do what they do. Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed. A renew of mind, our minds now because we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and we know the greater one is living on the inside of us. He came and filled us with his Holy Spirit. So now we act like the Holy Spirit. We allow him to lead us, guide us, direct us. So be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed. A new mind. We don't have the same mind we had when we were fighting the world. If somebody said, Come on, let's tonight, Friday night, let's go to the club, let's do this, let's do that. We don't have to worry about going behind nobody watching and see what they're doing. Because when you got God on the inside of you, you want to live for God. You when you got him on the inside, mom and dad don't have to run behind the kids and say, I'm talking about the kids that really love God and the ones that really uh at when they get a certain age, you don't have to run behind and see if they're doing this or doing that. Because if they really love God, they're gonna do what God said. They're gonna live for God. Because we can't make nobody live for God. But Jesus, if they fall in love with him, they will live for him. You ain't gotta watch him. They're gonna live for God. So it's very important that we also, as grown-ups, fall in love with the word. Jesus is the word. In the beginning was the word, the word was God, the word was God. So we know that Jesus was the word. The incarnation word became flesh. Jesus became man. God, man, and God, Jesus, God, man. So what are we saying here? We got to get into this word, let this word get in us, so that we won't be uh planting seeds. We read the word and don't let the word get in our hearts. Then you go out and you wonder why you're doing some of the things that you're doing. You wonder why you think like you're thinking, because the word not there. If the word is not there, you're gonna think negative. Because why? It's on stones. You're building on stone, you're building that house on stone. So you gotta build on that solid rock, Jesus.

Verse 7 and some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

Now you see that some fell among stones. You know, that you know what someone did on the sticky thing. And what happened? The stone grew it up and choked it. Shook the word. Too much loving the world, y'all. We want both sides. You can't have both sides. People want both sides. They want Jesus and they want the world. You gotta make up your mind. Which one do you want? We have to make up our mind which one do I want. We have to fall in love with either we're gonna fall in love with Jesus or we're gonna fall in love with the things of the world. We're gonna love one or the other. The one that you yield yourself to, obey, that's the one you fall in love with. So it's very important. Some fellow must and his own screwed up and choked it, choked the word. Cares of this life will choke the word out of you. You feel like, well, God, He's not good, He's not doing me fair. So I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do that. You begin to do things for yourself and still trusting God with your life. You begin to make arrangements. Well, this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna do that, I'm gonna do that. The cares of this life. You begin to do what other people do in that in the world. They don't know Jesus, but you know Jesus. So why would you do things that you know him? Why would you do the things of the world? Why would you like why would you want to hang around? Why would you want your best friend to be somebody of the world? You had nothing in common. Because it sooner or later it's gonna win you over. Because you get around them. If you talk about Jesus, then he's gonna be around you, but people are gonna walk away from you. When you talk about Jesus and live their life, people ain't gonna wanna be around you. First thing they say, oh no. Oh, there she comes, oh, there he comes. Oh, let me move back at the way. But if you talk the same talk, you can't have two talks. One talk in the in the in the when you're in the building, and the other talk when you're out of the building. If you're gonna talk to the world, talk to them about Jesus. Tell them the good news. But if you laughing, talking to them about everything else but Jesus, they'll hang around you all the time, calling you on the phone, doing this. But when you begin to talk about the goodness of the Lord, people begin to walk away from you. And you wonder why you don't have all these friends that you used to have. You don't have all these people now like you used to have because you don't let your standards down. That's what I'm talking about. You can't let your standards down. You got to keep your standards, let them come up to your standards. That's what we gotta do. But a lot of times we want friends so bad, so we drop our standards, and then what happened? After a while, the light goes right. We supposed to be the light, the salt of earth. Food without salt and don't taste too good. After a while, we no good to them. Because we acting just like they act. We giggle at this at the dirty joke just like they telling the dirty joke. We giggled at it one time. We wouldn't do it when you first got saved. Now all it wants, you let your standards down, you begin to laugh and jest with them, doing the same thing they doing. You giggle right along with them. But yet you say, I'm wearing them to the Lord. You're not wearing them to the Lord, they pulling you over.

Verse 8 and other fell on good ground and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased, and brought forth some 30 and some 60 and some in hundred.

Now you see that. And Allah fell on good grounds. That person was able to faith, pray, seek the face of God, read the word of God, live in the word of God, and allowing God to lead them and guide them through the Holy Spirit. That person brings forth what? 100 fourths. You want to bring forth 160? 100 fourths. Because that word is trying to please God. Their whole desire is to please God. They take time in their secret closet to hear from the Holy Spirit. They take time to get into the word of God. They put the word of God Jesus first in their life. They take time to believe if God said this about them, they believe it. And they act on it. When you believe somebody, you act on it. They believe God and they act on the word of God, and they are blessed a hundredforth. Because they give God that all. That's the one that God said, that man, that woman that bore that girl, they were given that all. They lay aside those things that's not of God. Every weight and every sin. They find that something is wrong with their life, they clean it up quickly. Jump in the presence of God. That's the one the hundredforth. But the ones that fell on stony ground by the wayside, they're all in church. But what kind of life are they living? People go to church all the time to the building. But it's not about the building, it's about your relationship with Jesus that makes a difference. Your relationship. When you build up a relationship with somebody, you want to please that person. Even in the natural. When you build up a relationship, let's say, for instance, you a single person and you're dating this person or whatever it is, this other person, and you're building up a relationship, you're doing things together and talking about the goodness of the Lord doing things together and all that, you begin to look forward to that person. You begin to, you don't see that person that days, oh, wonder what happened. They didn't show up today. You begin to miss them and things like that. You've been building up the relationship, and that's the same way it is when we build up a relationship with Jesus. When we miss our morning prayer or we miss that time reading our word, you you feel so uncomfortable. Oh my God. You you find yourself saying, Lord, forgive me. I just didn't do what I need to do today. You go back, jump in the presence of God. But if it don't mean nothing to you, you say, Oh well, I'll catch up on it. No big thing. That's not a good relationship. Sooner or later, you're gonna back up some more. Ask why you're gonna back up some more. Oh, well, I don't have to read everything. No, you don't. But you do it because you love Jesus. When you're in love, that's what love does. Love, when you're in the natural, you want to be with that person. That's what love is all about. And when you love Jesus, you want to get into his word. You want to feel his presence. You feel empty when you don't feel a day go by and you don't feel his presence. You feel so empty. You say, oh God, I miss Lord, I miss, I miss my time with you. You jump quickly into his presence because you want to feel his very presence. And you feel when you're in his presence, it's a fullness of joy. Now you got some joy, and all that once the enemy try to disturb you in different areas and make you think that uh you don't have this and you don't have that, and you don't this and that. You let the devil know where to get off at. Because now you don't fell in love with Jesus, and he got everything that you need. He said, I'm giving it to you. You got it. But all you gotta do is tap into it by faith and believe God. So that's why God was teaching these disciples, you know, but the parable. The purpose of the parable. Now look at it. Go ahead, let's grant uh read the next verse. Uh let's come on down to Otari.

Verse nine. And he said unto them, He who has ears to hear, let him hear. And when he was alone, they who were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable verse eleven. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But unto them who are without, all these things are done in parables.

See that? All these things are done in parables. But he said, he said unto them, You are given to know. I want you to know the mystery, the secret of the kingdom of God. Those who truly want to know, they can get to know God. That's why you thought a lot of people say the Bible is, ah, I can't read the Bible because it comes, I mean, it's just so, what he said, how does it can't understand? Because it condemns itself. One one other one doesn't do this, and the other other part do this, the other part do that. But it's not that. But he's telling you right there, he's saying to it, because it is given to you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. Unto them who are with thy all things are done in parable. He's doing it in parable because he wants the disciples to understand it. But the parable that he was doing, that's why they said, uh the natural mind cannot receive the things of God. They don't understand God's ways. They read the Bible, they still don't understand it. They don't understand stuff like that. But once they get the Holy Spirit, give their life to Jesus, and the Holy Spirit comes and live on the inside of them, then he teaches them the ways of God. That's how we learn the ways of God. We are being taught through the sanctification. The Holy Spirit sanctifies us. He shows us things, reveal things to us. That's the Holy Spirit. That's why he gave us the Holy Spirit to reveal things to us. Otherwise, we wouldn't know. So the Holy Spirit, now we got a divine nature living on the inside of us when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. And he teaches us the ways of God because He is God. You see? So Jesus said, When I leave you, I'm not gonna leave you comfortless, but I'm gonna send you the Holy Spirit. He's gonna be in you. Now he's gonna be in you. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit wasn't in the people, but the Holy Spirit will use them for certain jobs they had to do. But now in the New Testament, New Covenant, He lived in us when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. He comes and takes his aboard in us. So when you look at your life sometimes, you say, I don't feel his presence, but you know by faith that he's there because it's all by faith. It's not by uh I got to feel him like that. Uh it's in this New Testament, it's face walk. It's a face walk. So he's telling them. So look what he said in the 12th verse. See what it said in the 11th verse, he said, he said unto them, unto you, those of you who are accept me as your Lord and Savior, those who know me, he says given to you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But unto them who are with thy don't know me, who have never accepted me, he said, All these things are done in parable. Why? Because he, I want you to understand it, but some saying they're not gonna understand it because they don't understand any parables. I I give you natural things to show you spiritual things. And then he goes on down to the 12 verse. What did he say?

Verse 12, that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing that they may hear and not understand, lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven them.

See what he's saying? Seeing they may see and not perceive, they see things, but they don't understand it. They hear you speaking in tongues, they don't understand that. They see you living for God and they know how you used to live, they don't understand that. They see all this, but they don't understand it. How could that happen? I don't see how they could stop doing this. They were doing this and doing that. Not realize that the Holy Spirit on the inside of you that changed your life. You got a new life now. Therefore, if any man be in Christ Jesus, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away, all things have become new. So they said, Thee see, but they can't perceive, and hearing, they may hear, and not understand. They hear, they hear the word being taught, but they don't understand. Unless at any time they should be converted, unless they're ready to give their life to Jesus, then they are converted, and their sin should be forgiven them. 13.

And he said unto them, Know you not this parable? And how then will you know all parables?

See, let's go to 14.

SPEAKER_01 26:18

The sower sows the word. Verse 15. And these are they by the wayside, where the word is sown, but when they have heard, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their heart.

Satan comes immediately. I'm teaching right now the word is being sown. Soon as you leave out of here, if you're not careful, you get into argument. Or as soon as you leave out of here, or the enemy will try to tempt you with something. Does Satan come immediately? He don't want the word to take root in your heart. So he comes quickly and try to steal the word. Steal the seed. That's the enemy. He wants to steal the seed, which is the word. Y'all see that? And these are these by the wayside where the word is sown. But when they have heard the word, did you hear any word now? But as soon as you leave at that door, boom, the phone might ring. Here come a, oh, somebody maybe you ain't called you in a long time. And here they talk all this foolishness. And Satan comes to steal what you already have. Here they're telling you some what they're doing, this and they're doing that. Now you feel all down. Oh, God, I don't have no friends. I don't have nobody really talk to or relate to. You're feeling down and discouraged. He wants you discouraged so you'll get back with him. That's the enemy. He wants to steal the seed. You don't forgot all about it that Jesus said, I never leave you, I never forsake you. I'm with you always, even to the end of the world. You don't forgot all about it that he said, No good thing I withhold from them that walk right before me. We have a tendency to, if we're not careful, to forget what God said about us. And we listen to the enemy. When he already told us, cast down imagination, every high thing that will exalt itself against the knowledge of God. If it doesn't line up with my word, he said, cash it down. But instead, we cast it down. We listening and we feeling discouraged. And we look at social media and all these different other things and look like everybody doing good and they're not in church. They're not even in the devil say, see, they're not in church like you. And you go to church all the time. I told you, God don't really love you like you say. Because look what they're getting. Look at all this, all this blessing that they're getting. They got a better job than you, they got more money than you, they got this, they got that. He showed you all these things. Why? So he can discourage you. Once you get discouraged, then you listen to him. Most people don't listen to people until they get discouraged and they don't want to hear somebody what they want to say. So they get discouraged. Well, mm, yeah, well, that don't make no sense. Uh, yeah, I've been coming to church for a long time and they don't even go to church, and then God looks like they're doing so much better than I. The enemy wants you to see that so you can be discouraged. Not realizing that you got eternal life. There's things that they got just temporarily. They're gonna have to leave here one day. They could drop dead today of the morning. Where are they going? But if you drop dead today of the moral, where are you going? You can have eternal life because you're living for God. God knows the right time to put people in our lives. See, we now either we're gonna trust God or we're not gonna trust God. We try to go out there and pick people ourselves, and God ain't told you to pick people, then we are hurt and disappointed. We are listening to too much of the wrong thing on the TV, too much of the wrong thing on the radio, too much of the wrong thing on your cell phone, too much wrong thing in social media and all this kind of stuff. We're listening to too much stuff, too much going in. And we allow all this stuff to go in and excellent right there, and then the enemy talks because he got something to talk about. You see that? He pointed to you. You see how sad you are today? This is Friday night, and you're sitting home, and everybody's like party. You see, that's the enemy. He makes you feel sorry for yourself. And when you start feeling sorry for yourself, you're in it, you're almost in the enemy territory. You you're almost giving in to the enemy because you're feeling sorry, and the enemy just putting all the stuff in your head, and then you're saying to yourself, yeah, that is right. And you find yourself answering up. Mm-hmm. That is true. I'm just sitting in this room all by myself. I don't have sex here. Let me let me go talk to the people upstairs. Let me go talk to the people downstairs. You know they ain't safe. Because you know what they're doing up there drinking and everything else. Well, I ain't got a drink, I ain't got to smoke. I just want to go, just somebody talk to. Let me invite them to dinner. You know what they're gonna talk about. So we do all these kinds of things to try to make up and still waiting on the Lord. Bible said, wait on the Lord and be of good courage. Wait ourselves on the Lord. Let God bring the right people into your life. That's what we gotta do. But a lot of times we don't do that. We allow ourselves to get discouraged and we let anything come in. And we wonder then after, how did I get there? How did I get there? You look at your life, you think, I don't know how I got there. I must have been in a weak state. I I would have never done nothing like that. You find yourself, now he accused you. You done done something, now he accused you. You got it wrong, relationship. Now all at once you're really in trouble, showing up. He accused you. I told you you weren't saved, showing up. I told you that was no good. That's an enemy. We got to know who's talking to us. I'm telling you, you gotta watch this devil. He's ice for keeps. He's ice for keeps. He'll use you as long as he can. Then he go around telling other people, I told you that person wasn't saved. They talk about the in church all the time. I talked, I ran him the other day. They ain't no church, they ain't no church, they just phony. Phony. The world looks for something to find us phony. They don't think we're saved no way. They say we just put it on. Most of them say we put it on. They look at you, yeah. They watch you the whole time. You look at them, you're on your job or something like that. As soon as you you turn your head, they look at you like that. Don't you look around? Act like they ain't seen you. All the time, they watch everything you do. See what you're gonna say. When somebody do something to you, see how you're gonna act. They watch everything. I'm telling you, this devil is slick. He's been around for a long time. Can't nobody win, beat him but Jesus. And only God in us. We can't fight this devil by ourselves. It's God in us that does the work. When you get this word, take some time. Don't just be so busy. Well, I gotta get out of here. I gotta go to this place, I gotta go that place. You don't run away and you don't left the word. You left everything that you need to get some word and you take it with you. You at least you have something to think on while you're riding. You see what I'm saying? But you ain't read nothing, you jumped up and got up and put your clothes on. Oh, this person wanted me to take go this place with them. They want me to do this for them. Who saved you? Who delivered you? That person ain't doing that by just using you. But God said, I love you, I want the best for you. That's what God is saying. But you have left me to go in the enemy camp. You listened to the enemy and still listen to me. Spend a little time with me. I miss my time with you. That's what he's saying. I miss my time. Well, you used to get up when you first got saved, you used to get up and you couldn't go at the hybrid. Like, oh my God, you just had to spend time with me. You fell in love with me. What what came between us? Something came between us. You don't love me like you used to. You don't care for me like you used to. One time you would run to me, you would get answers from me, but now you're taking things in your own hand. That's why the enemy comes in and has to steal immediately when the word goes forth. He don't wait, because he does wait overnight and give you a chance to think, he ain't gonna be able to get in. But he comes right quickly before the word can sell in your heart. Here he comes. Yeah, all that teaching he's doing, all that. You don't have to sit in the church all that time. Girl, you you gotta have a life. But if this is if it's not a life, Jesus, I come that you might have life. See, we don't speak back to this enemy. I come that you might have life and life more abundantly. We got to speak back to this enemy. I got life. My life is in Christ Jesus. But we don't say nothing, we feel sorry for ourselves, and that's when the enemy slipped in. Stop feeling sorry. Know that God got you. God knows everything about you. He knows the right time to do whatever he needs to do in your life. Don't feel like he left you, he forgotten about you. He has not forsaken you. He loves you. But the enemy don't love us, he's a fake love. That's not real love. But he'll make it look like the real love. He'll tell you all the sweet things that you you that your ears want to hear. And it don't mean two cents. He can't live none of it. But when Jesus tells us something, we can stand on it. We can stand on it. What can separate us from the love of God? Nothing. He said, nothing can separate me from you. But we the enemies talk to us. This is what happened to Alan and Lee. He listened to the enemy. All the devil wants to do is for you to dite God's word. If he can get you to dite God's word, he got you. Because you ain't got nothing else to stain on. You don't have no word. What are you gonna stain on? Nothing. Your own flesh. No flesh gonna glory in his sight, so you ain't not even in God's sight. Because he said no flesh is gonna glory in his sight. So we're lost. That's why he teaches these disciples. These different spirits. He teaches them how these spirits work. That's why he gave them parables. He said, You I want you to know the mystery of the kingdom. But they don't know it. But I'm giving it to you because I don't want you to fall. I want you to rise up. That's why he told, he said unto you, it is given to you to know the mystery. The kingdom of God is mystery. That's why a lot of people say, I can't understand the word. I don't want to read the word because I can't understand it. But if you pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the word to you and take time, don't run in and out, in and out. You don't take time to try to read it. Go over it, sit there for a while, meditate upon it, go back over again, allow the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you. You know something you're not gonna understand the first time you read it. But when you take time, allow him to reveal it to you sooner or later. God looking at our heart, he knows do I really want the word or not? Or I'm just talking because I need something from God. I want God to open the door for me. I want God to do this for me. Whatever you do for God, do it as unto the Lord. Do it under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. When I come to preach the word of God, any preacher should do that. I don't can't speak for nobody else. I don't even know myself what all I'm gonna say. Only say I know he gave me a scripture. Now I gotta be led by the Holy Spirit. Allow him to lead me, guide me, direct me. What to say? How to how to break down the scriptures? Because I don't know. I've leaned in on him. And that's what we gotta do. No flesh he said gonna glory to his sight.

Verse 16. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness, and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time. Afterward, when affliction or persecution arises, for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

You see that? Persecution is gonna come. They that live God suffer persecution. People are gonna talk about you, do all kinds of things to you, get like they did to Jesus. Persecution is gonna come. You hear that somebody said this about you, you get in the flesh. Hmm. They said that about me. I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna get them. I'm gonna do that. That's what the devil wants you to do, but God don't want us to go that route. Venture is mine, I'll repay, said the Lord. He said they have no root in themselves, and so endure, but for a time, after all, with an affliction or persecution, it's gonna come. Because for the word's sake, once we get this word, God said, You gotta be tested. You gotta be tried. Once we hear the word of God, you gotta be tested. Whether you sit here and hear the word of God, you're gonna be tested with that word. Because God said, Okay, just like in this in the school, you're gonna be tested, you in the class with the test time for testing time, whether you got whether you learn anything or not, everybody's gonna have to take the test. So everybody in here, when that word, if I'm teaching on faith, then God, you're gonna be tested with faith. Whether you're gonna be strong with faith or not. If I'm teaching on the cross, you're gonna have to know what Jesus did on the cross. If I'm teaching the word, then God says, okay, it's your job to hold fast to the profession of your faith without wavering. You gotta grab that word and hold it. Because the enemy will come to steal, kill, and destroy. So he's saying here, when affliction comes or persecution, people talking about you. You know they're talking about you. You know they're scandalizing your name, you know they're saying all kinds of things behind your back and get back to you. And what you're gonna do? You get offended. You might cuss somebody out. You forgot all about it that you used to cuss. All at once, you're not care if you find yourself cussing again. Hmm. He had opened say, hmm. You call them up on the phone and tell them off. That's what you used to do. He wants you to get back in the flesh. That's what he wants you to do. He wants you to take care. See, you you realize now you're not your own, you're a boy with a price. Now it's Jesus' job to take care of you. Not your job to go venture, venture is mine. He said, I'll repay. It's not your job to go after them. I don't care how much they talk about you. Don't don't let it be what are they talking about? Don't let it be real. You don't have to just because a dog, uh bulk, you know, you don't a bird flower your hair, you don't have to let them land in your hair. So what I'm trying to say is you don't have to let yourself down low enough to go back and say, I'm gonna get them. I'm gonna that's what we did when we was in the world. When somebody did something to us, we made up our mind, I'm gonna get them back. We want to get even. You don't know who I am. We get back in the flesh. I got my gun, I got this, I got that. I'm from Maryland, I'm from Southeast, I'm from Northwest. They don't know what devil, where you from? Well, you from Jamaica, well, you're from China. Who cares where you're from? You're a child of God, you're a child of God. God looking for us to live holy. Jesus did it. They talked about him so bad, they called him the devil. He could have said, Who y'all think y'all talking to? Do you really know who I am? He didn't go there. Why? Because he knew who he was. When you know yourself who you are, you don't worry about what people say. Because people are gonna talk about you when you're doing good, they're gonna talk about you when you're doing bad. People gonna always talk. That's the way the world does. And then you got some half Christian do the same thing. They want at the place where they need to be, and they're gonna talk too. They're gonna say bad things about you, ruin your reputation. Going around telling everything all over your name, all over social media, everywhere else. Uh-huh. Yeah, I know she ain't changed show enough. Talking about she done changed. Oh, who's changed? She ain't changed. I know she's doing the same thing. She's sneaking around now, probably doing it. They're talking about you. And you get back to you, then you're gonna get upset. You know you're not doing it, what they're saying, and it gets you upset. But let Jesus handle it. Leave it alone. Truth was come after a while, the truth will come out if you move out the way and let the truth come forth. Because people can always talk. You be in a fight every day worrying about what people say. You can't worry about what people say. You gotta be honest with God and say, Lord, I choose to forgive them. You gotta choose to forgive. That's a choice you have to make. I choose to forgive. So he said, those are the things that the enemy come. Hey, that devil's sick. Well, he wait till you get upset up and something. Here he comes. He's gonna put a word there. And still you're getting the word from God. Here the devil give you a word. Who wants a word from the enemy? Come on, please, let's be real. Okay, wait a minute.

Mark 4, 18. And these are they which are sown among thorns, such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lust of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Now, this person is somebody who loves the Lord, they've been saved and all that. But the cares of this world, they want friends, they want people around them all the time. They just don't want to be lonely. I don't want to be by myself. I just gotta have somebody to talk to. And the deceiveness of riches, and they love things. They love the best. Oh, I oh I gotta get the best. I want the best. They want the best. Nothing wrong with you got money or something to buy a different thing. But don't love, don't let things have you. You have things, but don't let things have you. A lot of times when we have a lot of things, we let things have us instead of letting uh we having things. It's not God don't want us to have, he don't mind us having a nice home or a nice uh uh clothes or a nice car or boat or whatever it is. He doesn't mind having that. But when it gets to the place that we bragging on all the time and telling people, I got this and I got that, and it becomes uh uh an odd in your life. God don't want that. It becomes an odd in your life, so you make an auto out of it. God don't want that. He don't mind to have a good job and all that. And you got a good job, you got money and stuff like that. He don't mind having money, but don't let it have you. That's what it is. He don't want it to have us. Because when we let it have us, then we're gonna do what the wrong thing with us. You have it, and you need to help somebody, have somebody. Have a brother, have a sister. So you got all this wealth and all this, you got that, but make sure you're paying your tithes and your offering. Give God his right for his first before you give it to anybody else. Giving all everybody else something and God with God said, Where's mine? You robbing me. I'm the one who opened the door for you. So we got to make sure we get him that 10%. Robbing God. And then we want God to do great things for us. That's why we have to search ourselves when we're going through these tests. We have to search ourselves and say, Lord, is anything I've done that caused this thing to happen to me? Have I brought this on myself? And then if you find that you did, repent. Repent of it. And get it all, get it, get it, get it together with God. And then go ahead and believe God for what you're looking for. All right, where are we at, Tyree?

Mark 4 and 20. And these are they which are sown on a good ground, such as hear the word and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.

You see that? That's what those are the ones that hear the word, a do of the word. They're not just a hearer, but a doer of the word. And he received the word. They don't sit back and say, Well, yeah, I like this part of the word, but I don't like what she said about that. I know she's talking about me. You're not ready to receive the word. If the word talking about you, then let's move from that and go to another place in Christ. And don't stay there the next time that word comes forth. Don't be there. Do what God called you to do. I know what he's talking about in me. I know, I know, I know. But you don't have to stay there. So God wants you to bring forth 100fold. To hear the word and receive it and bring forth fruit. God wants fruit be manifest in our lives, fruit of the Spirit. Some 34th, some 60, and keep moving up and summon 104s. That's what God wants. God wants to grow, grow, grow in grace and in the knowledge of God. That's what God wants us to do. Grow, grow, grow, grow. When you find yourself in a wrong state, quickly get back in the right place with God. When you find yourself doing the wrong thing, quickly repent and get back with God and say, Lord, forgive me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But make sure you're sorry because He's looking at the heart. You can tell me you're sorry. I'm looking at the outside of you, unless God showed to me. But God sees everything, know everything, and all that. And we can say, I'm sorry, and go back next night and do the same thing over again. We say we're sorry, but are we really sorry? Go back the next night and do the same thing all over again. Because you think that just because he don't come down here and do nothing to you right now, but we got to understand one thing we got to stand before God. Some people's sins go on before them, and some people's sins come on behind them. When you stand before God. Some people repent of the thing that they've done wrong and get rid of right then and get right with God, and other people hide it, and then when they stand before God, then they're gonna have to give an account of it. Some people's sin go on before and some go behind. Very important that we understand this devil don't love none of us. He hates God and he hates us too. And how can you love somebody that hate your God? Just think. If you know somebody hates your God, how can you love them? You know they don't love you. Y'all understand what I'm saying? Let me break this thing down so y'all understand what I'm saying. We love Jesus. We got people that don't love Jesus. They say they don't love God at all. I can't stand. I do what I want to do. I'm my own God. All this kind of foolishness. How can you love that person? You you respect that person as far as talking, you know, with God, give you something to say to them or something like that. But that's not your best friend. He's that person's not in your circle, y'all. You don't want that person in your circle. They want that don't love God. Because sooner or later they're gonna influence you, they're gonna pull you away from God. Their whole purpose is to get in that circle and pull you away. Because you get in a weak state, that the day you get in a weak state, they pull you. They might be going to the church building too, but they're not living for God. The devil goes to church too, you know. So they're not living for God, and he get hooked, you get hooked up with them, and that's why you know them saying you say, Well, they're doing this. I don't see nothing wrong with it, because that's what they do. You better look in this word and see what God says about the situation. Go by the word. Don't go by what they're doing. Well, they say that there ain't nothing wrong with this. Get in the word and see what God's saying. You got so far away from the word because you're too busy hanging with them. Now you ain't you don't left God in the word. You don't even know what God is talking about. It's very important that we understand what God's word is saying to us. Because we live by his word. That's what we live by. The Bible says be not just a hearer, but a doer of the word of God. So we got to be a doer. People try to pull you away from God. They're not gone all the way. You don't want that person in your server. Because sooner or later, you're gonna be influenced. You can say all you want to. No, they can't influence me. I'm not gonna smoke because they smoke. I'm not gonna drink because they drink. Sooner or later, you will be doing what they're doing. If you hang around riding around with them and going places together, laughing and giggling together, you will. You can say what you want to. The enemy knows how to pull you on his side. We gotta be wiser than the devil. And God is looking at us and saying, I give you everything you need in this battle. I give you everything you need. You don't have to take down. None of us have to take down. We got too much word. We don't have to take down. But when you get out of here, you it feels good when you're in here because the anointing is here and all of us here together. But when you're by yourself, that's when he ain't gonna tag you too much while you're in here. But when you get by yourself, then he began to tell you, you setting up in this place, you all lonely and everything. Why don't you just get on the phone and just call this prayer? Why don't you just turn that TV on? Why don't you just do this? He suggests a lot of times we take him up on it. He suggests things, and we take him up on it a lot of times. Yeah, that is true. That I think can't hurt nobody by me just turning the TV on. Soon as you turn that TV on, something grab your attention, hmm, something you ain't supposed to be looking at. There it is. There it is. And then you can't turn, seeing that you can't turn the channel. There it is. And when God said, You I that was the time you're supposed to be spending with me, but you hear you over there looking at that. You supposed to be spending that half an hour, hour with me, but you got that whole hour. Then you get finished looking at it. You're so tired because it wears your spirit down. It weighs your spirit down because it's heavy. Sin is heavy on your spirit. It wears your spirit down. Now you don't feel like praying, you don't feel like doing nothing but going to bed, sleep. I do it in the morning. I pick it up in the morning. I go and worship in the morning. In the morning, you wake up, you're running late for work, running late for whatever you gotta do. That's why you miss two or three times. That's why you just it don't even bother you no more. You don't have no, it don't even bother you no more. First when you're dead, it's bother you. That's why it don't even bother you. You don't you can't hear God no more. You say, Yeah, but I know I'm doing what God said, dude. You're not doing what God said, dude. The Bible said all thy ways, acknowledge me. I will direct your path. You're not asking for direction no more, you're just doing what you want to do. It's not good. So God is calling us to a higher level. That's why I sing that song. Lord, lift me up and let me stand. By faith on heaven, table land, it's a higher place that I have found. Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. You want to go higher in God? He's the only one who can lift you up. Lord, lift me up. See, we alright long we here. But we got to be by ourselves. We gotta be tested, we gotta be tried. And we shall come full of pure gold. Sure, it's gonna be lonely little time. Do you think Jesus? Everything you and I go through, Jesus has already been through. He was despised, he was rejected. All the things that were said about him, calling the devil and everything else. But because he knew his purpose, when you know who you are in Christ and know your purpose, you can go through whatever you have to go through. It won't even bother you. You go through because you understand the word, what God said about you, and you believe the word. You trust the word for your healing, for your deliverance, peace, joy, strength. You believe God. Lord, if you don't do it today, I know you're gonna do it tomorrow. I've just looked, I'm not gonna give up on it. I'm just gonna believe you. You know the right time. You know all about this body. My body don't belong to me, it belongs to you. This is your body. You're living in this temple. See, we talk to God, you talk to him about the things that you don't understand, you talk to him. Don't sit back and say, Well, it seems like I'm talking to myself. No, you're not talking to yourself. He's on the inside of you. You talk to him. Explain things to him. When you don't understand stuff, talk to God. Lord, what about this? What about that? You talk to him. He's your best friend. He's a friend sticky close than a brother. He's your best friend. You can talk to him. And you're lonely owls and you're by yourself, you can talk to him. Lord, I would like to have some company sometime. You think I'm ready for company right now? I'm ready for friends right now. Talk to him. He knows. He knows when you're ready and when you're not ready. He knows everything about us because he made us. So we just want to thank God for this word tonight, the parable of the sower. So is this one that sowed the seed, and the seed is the word of God. We got to eat that seed. Plant that seed. Let that seed get in our heart. And I may not sin against God. So we just thank you.
