SPEAKER_01

Don't have to say that. I just want to thank God because when we look at back in Genesis, I'm not gonna read all that, but when we look at Genesee, Adam and Eve was in the garden. And every day, God would come down there and talk to them in the cool of the day. And would worship. But one day, when God came down into the garden, something happened. Enemy, the devil sneaked in. The enemy sneaked in and fooled them. Had eat to eat of that fruit. Whatever that fruit was. God had already told them, put them in the garden, leap, don't mess with that tree, that one tree. Everything else, you can have it. Disobedience is a terrible thing. The enemy, he wants to steal, kill, and destroy every one of us. If he can. And the only way we can get out of the thing, that put our faith in God. One day, when God came down there, cool of the day. Where were they? Sin will make you hide from God. They hid from God because they found I was naked. All this time he was in the garden, they didn't know they were naked.

SPEAKER_00

But when their eyes were opened to sin, they realized. And God said, Where are thou, Adam? We hid because we were naked. Who told you?

SPEAKER_01

Who told you you were naked? God knew what they had done. God knew everything. But he ran from God and still running to God. He ran away from God. In their pain and their shame, God wants us to run to Him, not away from Him. A lot of times the things that we are going through in this life, we run because we think, oh my God, I don't want God to see that. But not realizing God sees everything. He knows everything. He made you, He knows your thoughts before you can even think it. That's the God we serve. He knows everything about us. But because He loves us so much that He was willing to make a provision to redeem mankind back because of the disobedience. After that, the law came, but the law could not save them. The law was only there to show them what's wrong with you, just like looking in the mirror. You see that your hair needs to be combed, you see that your face needs to be washed. But if you don't have no hands, ain't nothing you can do but look at it. So Jesus himself, in the fullness of time, God sent forth his son, Jesus. Made of a woman, made under the law, under the law to redeem mankind. What's nothing wrong with the law? What was something wrong with mankind? Mankind wasn't holy enough to keep the law. So God had to make a provision for mankind. That's why the Bible said in the fullness of time, God sent forth his son. So we see in Matthew, let's let's read that in Matthew. First, it's prophesied in the Old Testament, but we're not gonna go there. But we see it in Matthew, I believe it's what, 121? I believe it is. We're gonna see what happened. Jesus Himself overshadowed Mirror. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mirror. Thank you, Jesus. Jesus loves us so much, he's not willing that any should perish. But that all comes to repentance. Let's look at Matthew, the first chapter of Matthew. But the whole thing is, people got to realize that everybody, I don't care how cute that baby is, when that baby's born, everybody, ooh, she's so cute, he's so cute. Born in sin. Because of one-made disobedience caused the whole world to be born in sin. That's why Jesus had to go to the cross. That's why he had to die. So that you and I might have life. Abundantly life. So we're gonna look at Matthew, first chapter of Matthew. Thank you, Jesus. Matthew 1. And we're gonna read a couple verses and break it down a little bit and see see what God is saying to us. We we have an opportunity now that we don't have to stay. Where are we at? We we can come closer to God. Alright, let's look at one and uh let's see. Uh round about the let's see, round about the 18th verse.

SPEAKER_02

Matthew 118. Another birth of Jesus was on this wise, when as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

SPEAKER_01

Now you see that before her and Joseph came together, it had no contact. It's full of sexual, no contact at all. She came to you'll see that she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. It was the Holy Spirit that overshadowed her, and she became pregnant with Jesus. Alright, go ahead, 19 verse.

SPEAKER_02

Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privileged.

SPEAKER_01

Joseph was minded to put her away because now she's pregnant with Jesus, and you know, like in a natural sense, you would think that, who, what happened? Have you done this? You did that. He knew that he hadn't been there. So she was impregnant by the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit overshadowed her, and she was pregnant. Now he was secretly thinking about putting her away. What I'm saying put her away means to leave divorce, he wouldn't demand, but divorce her or whatever it is. But while he thought, look at the 20 verse, while he thought on that, that's why I'm telling you, God knows everything. He knows how to fix everything. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

But while he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary, thy wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

SPEAKER_01

See, God had to speak to Joseph. Joseph might have thought that, oh, but she'd mess around. You know, like in a natural sin, you would think about a mess around. There's some Joseph, God had to speak to Joseph and let her know that pregnancy is of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit overshadowed her, and she became pregnant. So Joseph's blood was nowhere there, no seed, none. It's the Holy Spirit. And God is talking to Joseph. And 21st verse said, What?

SPEAKER_02

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.

SPEAKER_01

For he for what he said, you she shall bring forth a son, and his name is going to be Jesus. A lot of people say, Well, I pray to God, I pray to God, you don't want to talk about Jesus. There's none other name given unto heaven whereby we must be saved but the name of Jesus. Jesus, the saving name. Go ahead. 22nd.

SPEAKER_02

Verse 22. Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin which shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God with us.

SPEAKER_01

God with us. You see that? I just want y'all to see how they all started. Jesus was born. That same Jesus. That word was spoken over Mary. And we're not gonna go back to all that, but I'll just give you a little hints of it. Behold, the virgin, she's a virgin, shall be with child and bear a son, which would be Jesus. And they shall call his name Emmanuel. In the Old Testament, they prophesy about this, and it fulfilled in the New Testament. It's translated, God with us. God, that Jesus is God in the beginning, God with us. Got into a Mary, brought forth, overshadowed Mary with the Holy Spirit. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They're one. Play different roles, but they're one. Alright, let's go a little bit further here. Let's see where we go from here. Let's look at uh Romans to fifth chapter of Romans. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Lord, I thank you. Fifth chapter of Romans. And we're gonna look at I believe it started at sixth verse. Fifth chapter and sixth verse.

SPEAKER_02

Romans 5 and 6. For when we were yet without strength in due time, Christ died for the ungodly.

SPEAKER_01

For when we were still without strength, we were separated because sin separated men from God. When Adam and Eve sinned, everybody's born and born in sin. It's separate, sin separated just like a thinko cross here, and you on that side, I'm on this side. It separated us from God. So that's why Jesus had to go to the cross. A lot of people might not understand why Jesus went to the cross. Because he went to the cross to redeem, there was his blood that had to be shed on the cross to redeem mankind back to God. And we're gonna talk to you a little bit about how to get back to God. If you don't know, you might already know and you might not know, but we want to make sure you know so you would know. It said, when we were still with life strength in due time, couldn't help ourselves, we was helpless. We was a wretch, a mess. Everybody's born. That's why people do this and do that. You wonder why? Because a dog bar because his nature is a dog. A person sinned because the nature is a sinner, until we give our life to Jesus and go all the way with God. We do what's in us. So it says here, for go ahead, a seventh verse, uh Tari.

SPEAKER_02

So for scarcely for a righteous man will one die, yet preadventure for a good man, some would even dare to die. Amen. But God commended his love toward us while that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

SPEAKER_01

Christ did what? He demonstrated his own love towards us. You hear people say all the time, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That's the love of God. That why he went to the cross. Because of the love. Who else would die for us? Who? You can you know anybody who would die for you? I don't think so. So scarcely for a righteous man when one died, we had prepared for a good man, someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrated his love towards us and that while we were still sinners, we was we turned our back, we didn't want to be bothered with him. I know I didn't. When I was I think I didn't want to be bothered with God. Well, I'm sorry, but getting high and partying and doing what I need to do. But one day he got a hold of me, turned my life around, and placed my feet on that solid rock. That rock is Jesus. But God committed his love towards us, and that while we were still sinners, didn't want to be bothered with him, pardoned, doing everything I want to do. Because but the nature of a sinner is sin, you sin because the nature of sin. That's why you sin. Everybody's born was born in sin. And we're gonna tell you how to come out of it. But God condemns much more than having now been justified by his blood, been made righteous by his blood, he shall be saved from wrath through him. Only way we can be saved is through Jesus Christ. There's none other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved by the name of Jesus. I know a lot of people saying that, oh yeah, I believe in God. Yes, you believe in God, but God Jesus is the saving name. You got to come through him, you gotta be born again of the water and of the spirit. This is the problem why he went to the cross. Suffer, bled, died, talked about, persecuted, did everything they wanted to do to him. Call him the devil, all kinds of things. But yet, the love that God has for his people, he still was well, he didn't give up. The Bible said for the joy that was set before him. He endured the cross, y'all. He saw joy, he saw souls coming to him, he saw souls being delivered and set free from bondage. Just looking in the jail, you can't come out. But if somebody comes and said, look, I'm gonna pay you a fine. So you can come out. You will you can make up your mind which way you want to go. Do I want to stay in jail or do I want to come out? Now you have the opportunity that I can stay in and I can come out. So we have to make a better mind. God don't twist my arm, nobody arm to make a strong hell. But they said, I have made it away. But then um, you come to repentance. I don't want nobody to go to hell. I don't want I don't want the devil to steal you. Because the devil is a liar, he comes to steal, kill, and did strong money.

unknown

Come on, come on.

SPEAKER_01

He is strong money, to dead just like it didn't be like there.

unknown

Come on, bring it on, bring it up.

SPEAKER_01

That's what I'm talking about. I'm a little just side, I'm both side.

unknown

Come on, man.

SPEAKER_01

Come on, I know what the lack on this side. And I know what the lack on this side. I stand up for Jesus, because I can stand on this side who is Jesus that told me I never leave you, I never forsake you, and I'll be with you all the way, even to the end of the world. People come and people go. But Jesus will never leave. I can stand on the promise, so can you. God made a provision just because he made a provision to go to the cross, it doesn't automatically mean that I'm saved because he went to the cross. No, I gotta do something, I gotta accept what he did. I gotta invite him into my heart, that he can forgive me of my sins, clean up my mind, believe that he died that I might live. That's why he said, I come that you might have life. This word is life more abundantly. That life is in Christ Jesus. Outside of him is no life. The enemy comes with a substitute, he makes you think that everything's fine. Oh God has loves you too much, He ain't gonna let you go to hell. He not.

SPEAKER_00

We give us a choice. We can go either way we want to. He don't force us. That's what I'm talking about. He gives us life more abundantly. That life is in Christ Jesus. That's where it is. But we can't live this life. I can't live this life even now after I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I can't live this life in my own strength.

SPEAKER_01

I depend on him daily, a daily walk. Therefore, if any man be in Christ Jesus, he is a new creature. All things, the old ways pass away. All things have become new. I don't have no desire for them old things that I used to do. People used to tell me, well, you get saved, you ain't gonna be able to do this, you're gonna be saved. I don't want to do that. Because he gave me a divine nature when he saved me. When I asked him to come into my heart and be Lord of my life, he gave me a divine nature, a nature that wants to serve him. I lost a desire for a lot of things that I used to do. And it's a continuous uh progressive sanctification. That's what I'm talking about. A continuous, it's not a one-time thing, it's a continuous allowing this word to take root in my heart. This word would do it, but this word is life. That's what I'm talking about. So let's let's read a little bit more. Oh, my I'm getting excited by this thing here. God is a good God. All right. Wait, wait, Tari. Glory.

SPEAKER_02

Romans 5 and 9. Much more than being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

SPEAKER_01

Not only being justified, justified means being made righteous by his blood, what he did on the cross. We should be saved. Jesus coming back again. That same Jesus that left here is coming back again. He's coming back for a repair people. We don't know that all the time he's coming back, but we know he's coming back. We see the signs all around us, things that's going on. He told us what's gonna happen. When you read your Bible, you see all the signs. It was just like it was in Noah's days. Noah said, Come on in, it's gonna rain. People walking past, getting married, and going to parties and doing everything else. Come on in, it's gonna rain. People ain't never seen no rain before. They said, What are you talking about? It's gonna rain. You better come on in. He just kept hard and doing what he wanted to do. And guess what happened? The doors closed up. And with the door closed, now everybody wanna get in. Too late. Bible said, The day you hear my voice, harden not your heart. The day that you hear my voice, this is his voice. Harden not your heart. That's what he said. Alright, Tyree, let's go.

SPEAKER_02

Verse 10. For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son. Much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

SPEAKER_01

See that? We were enemies. We were enemies of God. We didn't want to be involved with him. But now because of Jesus, go ahead and 11 verse.

SPEAKER_02

And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, see that? Go ahead, 12 verse.

SPEAKER_02

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

SPEAKER_01

Y'all see that? Therefore, just as though one man sinned, it didn't take nobody but one man. Cause the whole universe, whole world to be born a sinner. Therefore, as though by one man's sin entered the world, and death. What do you mean death? Spiritually dead. We were spiritually dead. Dead mean what? Separated from God. Because of Adam and Eve's sin, and we were born in sin. We are separated, couldn't help ourselves, couldn't do nothing for ourselves. But it took the blood of Jesus to go to the cross to deliver us, free us from the bondage. Go ahead, Tyree.

SPEAKER_02

Verse 13. For until the law, sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

SPEAKER_01

If it ain't no law, sin is not imputed. You driving down the street that you ain't got no signs that said 55 miles an hour, 60 miles an hour. Ain't no law. You can drive as fast as you want to go. But when the sign put up there said 55 miles an hour, 60 miles an hour, that's a law. You got to abide by. So man couldn't keep the law. So the law was nothing wrong with the law, but Maine wasn't at the place where he could keep the law because he was not holy. He was not set apart for God. So then that's why Jesus had to go to the cross. So 14 verse that what?

SPEAKER_02

Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned, after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. Go ahead. Verse 15. But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many meet many be dead, much more the grace of God and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, have abounded unto many. See that?

SPEAKER_01

By the free gift. God's a free gift. You don't have to pay for it. It's not like the offense. For if by the one man offense, many die. Adam died what? And sin. But much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of this one man, Jesus Christ, abound to many. And the gift was 16 verses what?

SPEAKER_02

Not as it, by one that sinned, so is the gift. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is to many offenses unto justification.

SPEAKER_01

Jesus came for justification. Justification means to be made righteous. Made righteous with God. Go ahead, 17 verse.

SPEAKER_02

For if by one man's offense death reigned by one, much more they which received abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_01

By Adam, life came about by Jesus Christ. That's where life came. Death by Adam. Everybody born and born in sin, death. Separated from God. Wasn't nothing you could do. Couldn't save yourself. You couldn't keep the law. Because the law showed you what's wrong with you, but you couldn't do nothing about it. Show you that, mm-hmm. But you can't keep it. Because you wasn't at the place where you could keep the law because you was in sin.

SPEAKER_02

Go ahead. Romans 5 18. Therefore, as by the offense of one, judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one, the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

SPEAKER_01

Justification means righteous, being made righteous. Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are made righteous. All your sins you ever done in this whole life. I don't care if you done killed ten people. I don't care if you done done all the things that you done done. Jesus move your sin as further to the east to the west when you mean it from your heart and accept him as your Lord. Lord means ruler. You no longer rule your own life. He tells you what to do, what not to do. Lord, that's what Lord means. Savior means He saved you, justify, make you righteous. But then you have to allow Him to lead you, guide you, direct you. See, we've been directing ourselves all our life. We don't want nobody to tell us what to do. Mankind have always been like that. I don't want nobody to tell me what to do. I know what I want to do. We want to be our own boss. But when you accept Jesus, you've got to humble yourself down and allow him to lead you and guide you and direct you. It's not even about you, it's all about him. Because one day, we're going to have to go somewhere. We're going to either go to eternal life or eternal damnation. We make the choice. He don't make the choice for us. He gave us a choice. We make the choice. Where do I want to go? We all gonna leave here. I don't care if we live 100, 200 years old. We leave it here one day. If Jesus don't get back before then, we're going somewhere. The minute your eyes is closed, the very minute, not tomorrow, next day, you're going one place or the other. Either you're going to be with the Lord, the Bible said to be absent from the Bible to be present with the Lord. If you're saved, and you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you're living for God. But also, if you're not saved, the Lazarus, the rich man, he was in hell. The minute you open your eyes, the minute your eyes is closed, you hear people say all the time, that person's gone. They know what they're talking about, that person's gone, but they don't realize where they're gone. They're either one place or the other. And torment with the devil or in heavenly places with Jesus. That's where the minute your eyes close, you could drop dead right now. Just like that. If uh the spirit and the and the uh soul lead the body, just like that. Just a shell laying there. But that soul and spirit gotta go somewhere. It's gone up or down. It's too late. It's no repentance beyond the grave. Now it's the septic time of the day. He said, You hear my voice. Harden not your heart.

unknown

Come on now.

SPEAKER_01

Today you hear his voice. I'm trying. Give them the word. The only thing gonna help them is the word. So it goes on a little bit further here. Wait a minute, Tyree.

SPEAKER_02

Verse 19. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

SPEAKER_01

By many of one disobedient with Adam, many were made sinners. By one obedient, many were made righteous, which is Jesus. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

Verse 20. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound, but where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

SPEAKER_00

Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

Verse 21. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Now you see that?

SPEAKER_01

God made a provision. It's up to us. Sixth chapter. What shall we say then? Now just because God when you accept Jesus and He saved you, give you eternal life, it asks you a question here. What shall we say then? Should we continue sin that grace may abound? God's grace under the new covenant is the grace of God. The old covenant, mankind could not keep. But the new covenant. What should we say? And now we're under new, because we're under grace. Unmerited favor. We don't deserve it. But he gave it to us if we accept him as our Lord and Savior. What should we say that should we continue in sin now? Should I continue to go back in my old lifestyle where I used to live? Do the thing that I used to do because now I'm I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior? No. I don't want to go back there. He saved me from sin, not in sin. So it's very important. Let's come on, Tyree. Let's read, let's read that. What should we say then?

SPEAKER_02

Sixth chapter? God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein?

SPEAKER_01

See, when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you die to the old man. The old you. They want to want to cut up and do what they want to do. You're a new person now. We're gonna tell you in a few minutes. What's what? Verse three.

SPEAKER_02

Know you not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death.

SPEAKER_01

Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death, that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

SPEAKER_01

So what it's saying is when Jesus went to the cross by faith. Faith is something you don't see with your natural eye, but you believe. Because you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. When he went to the cross, you were united with him, you went to the cross by faith in the mind of God. When he was buried, you was buried. When he was rise up, resurrection, you got up out of the grave to walk how a new life. Because you are in him. In him I live. You got to realize it's all by faith. It's a faith walk. In him I live, in him I move, and him I have my being. I am who I am because of Jesus. So when he got up out of the grave, I got up to walk a new life. In the mind of God, I was buried, I was crucified, I was buried, and I also rose. A new life. A new life. We are united with Him. The old you, how you used to act. Cuss somebody in a minute. Tell somebody off in a minute. Do wrong thinking, wrong action, wrong doing in a minute. All at once, you don't want to do that no more. You don't feel like I want to do that no more. I don't. When you do that, you repent of it. Lord, I'm sorry. Forgive me. You repent of it. So what happened now? Let's go a little bit fully here. All that Jesus accomplished on that cross, he died that you and I might have life. How do I get there? First thing we got to do, let's look at Romans the 10th chapter. And we're gonna start at the uh sixth verse. 10 and 6. I'm gonna tell you how to get there. If you want to get there, you don't have to, you don't have to. This is because it's gonna be up to each and every individual. But my job is to tell you, to read the letter and tell you how to get there if you want to get there. Then you have to make up your mind which way you want to go. Because we all God ain't gonna trust my arm, your arm, nobody arm. Alright, everybody got 10 and 6. Okay. Okay, Tyree.

SPEAKER_02

Romans 10 and 6. This is how you get there. But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise. Say not in thine heart, who shall ascend into heaven, this is to bring Christ down from above. For seven, or who shall descend into the deep, that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead. Verse 8. But what saith it?

SPEAKER_01

This is what you need to understand right here. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart, that is the word of faith which we preach.

SPEAKER_01

The word which we preach, what I'm preaching right now. The word, the word of God. Go ahead. That if you what?

SPEAKER_02

Verse 9, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

SPEAKER_01

You got to confess it. Nobody else can confess it for you. I can't confess it for you. You can't confess it for me. Nobody can confess it for you. You got to confess it. Asking God, I believe that you died on the cross. See, this is a face walk. The gesture live by faith. This is a face walk. It's all by faith. You don't see with your natural eyes. So we've been so used to our five senses. But we don't live by our five senses. We live by the word of God. So you said if you will confess with your mind, your mind, the Lord Jesus, believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sin, that he died, and he was buried, and he rose, God raised him up out of the grave and resurrection power, and that same power now can be in you. So you got to believe it in your heart that you can be saved today. All you got to believe and confess it, not just with your mind, but your heart. God looks at the heart. And when you do that, your slate is clean. Everything you've ever done in life is clean. He wiped your slate just as clean and allow him to lead you, guide you, and direct you. Now I said it before, and I'm gonna say it again. This life, you cannot live it in your own strength. I can't, you can't, nobody can. Give me that little scripture, Tyree. 2 Corinthians 5 and 17.

SPEAKER_02

2 Corinthians 5, 17. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new.

SPEAKER_01

You see that? All things have become new. What happened when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior? That's gonna come into your heart by faith and believe it, you gotta believe he came in. Now that old man that used to be there, that old man used to do all the corrupt things and doing what he wanted to do, when he wanted to do whatever. That man is dull. He can't do nothing now, let's just tie it up unless you activate it. God didn't take him out. But he's there. That's an old you. He didn't take him out. But he can't do nothing now unless you go back in your old ways and begin to do what you want to do. That's when you activate just like a credit card. Credit card ain't no good until you activate it. So when you activate that old man, that he pops his head right back up again. Pop right back up. So it's very important that we realize that who I am. See, you got to know within yourself that who I am. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. All things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. I have been delivered. You got to see yourself delivered from the powers of darkness. I'm translated to the kingdom of light, Jesus' kingdom. That's where you're at now. You used to be in the old kingdom. Now you're in the new kingdom. It's different rules. In different kingdoms, it's different rules. You go to China or someplace else, it's different rules than it is here. So you're in God's kingdom. You can't you won't want to do them old things that you used to do. The old man. Let's look at uh go back to Romans the eighth chapter. Just turn up, yeah, turn back a couple pages. Romans the eighth chapter. See, we we want to do what we want to do. Some people think, oh, it's gonna be hard. It's gonna be hard. It's hard to the transgressors, but it's not hard when you really want to please God. It's not hard. But you you don't get overnight, it's a continuous, progressive sanctification. Sanctification being made holy. Because Jesus, when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He comes and He lives in you. He said, I'm going away. But I'm gonna send you the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. He's gonna lead God and direct you. Anybody know what I'm talking about? He's gonna lead God and direct you. I'm going away. Jesus, I'm going away. But I'm sending you the Holy Ghost. He's gonna take his aboard in you, and he will lead you, he will guide you, he will direct your steps. See, you got to move yourself out of the way. Let him do what he wants to do. So now we're looking at Romans the eighth chapter, and we're gonna read one and two verse. Verse one and verse two. Oh, Lord, I thank you. Hallelujah. What a mighty God. What a mighty God. You think that you lose nothing on some of you accept Jesus? You don't lose nothing, you gain. Lord, I thank you. You don't lose, you gain. Peace, joy. He said, Come unto me, all ye that are laboring heavy later. I want to give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. I want you to learn of me. My yoke is easy and my burden is light. But the devil comes and brings heavy burdens. He accused other brother. He accused you. Oh, you know you did that. Oh da da da da da da da. Let the devil shut your mouth, devil. That's right. Shut your mind, catch it down. That's right. Everything that doesn't line up with the word of God, catch it down. Don't listen to the enemy. Because the Bible said he's a liar. And the truth is not in him. So you know the truth is not in him. Why would people listen to him? Some people listen to the enemy. Oh, I don't know what's gonna happen to poor little me. What's gonna happen to me now? If you save in Christ, if you're gonna leave here, the best thing can happen. You step over until a better place. A better place. That's what I'm talking about. Alright, let's run Romans 8 and 1. Let's see what it says here.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Free from in drilling sin. Come on. Romans 8, 1 and 2.

SPEAKER_02

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

No condemnation, no guilt. The enemy tried to bring guilt when you do something. Oh, this da da da da da da da. No guilt to them that are in. How did I get in? I got in it by when he was crucified, I was crucified. United with him. He was buried, I was buried. When he rose up, I rose up. Because I was in him. See, that's what we got to see. If we don't see it that way, we always complaining. Oh God, what's gonna happen to me? Oh, I don't know how I'm gonna get through this. God said, peace I leave with you. Not as the world give it to you. When he said world, he talked about the world system. Not as the world give it to you. My peace. That's why you see people, a lot of people, you say, How in the world can you go through what you're going through? God's peace. God's peace. God's peace. He gives you peace. In the midst of this stone, whatever stone you're in, he gives you peace. Why? I never leave you, I never forsake you. I won't leave you alone. I'll be with you always. You can stain on that promises of God. Come on, Tyree. Let's be there. Therefore, now, right now, where you are right now, if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, right now, there's no more guilt. No more condemnation. Come on.

SPEAKER_02

Continue verse 1. Who walk not after the flesh.

SPEAKER_01

We're not gonna walk after the flesh now. Your flesh, you know what the flesh is. Your ideas, your way of doing things. You did that when we were in the world. I did that when I was in the world. I ain't asked nobody nothing. I just did what I want to do when I want to do it, how I want to do it. And nobody better not say nothing. And some of you the same way. You might not own up to it. We've all been there and done that. We've been there. But we don't have to stay there. That's the main thing. In Christ, we can live and move and have our being. Therefore, right now, he said, right now, where you at right now, no condemnation, no guilt. To those who are in Christ Jesus, you gotta know I'm in him. In him I live. In him I move. In him I have my being. I am complete. Complete means you don't need to add nothing. I am complete in him. That's what I'm talking about. You're complete. When you're complete, don't need nothing to add it. I got Jesus, and that's enough. It says, in him, there's therefore not no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who do not walk, do not live after your flesh. What is your flesh telling you to do? Oh, why don't you go do this? Why'd you go do that? Why don't you do that? The flesh will always tell you what your flesh wants. Because the flesh ain't gonna go the way up until the grave. But that soul and spirit gotta go one place or the other. Who are in Christ, who do not walk according to, you don't walk no more according to the flesh. You don't let the flesh dictate to you what to do, what not to do. I did it all when I was like there. Had my own little party, had my own little bar, my own little drinks, and my own little smoking two packs of cigarettes a day, doing it all. Everything that's big enough to do. But when I said God got a hold of me, I'm telling you, God get a hold of me. You don't even, I don't have, I can't even stand smoking now. When somebody smoke around me, I can't stand the smell of it. It makes me sick when I come at the store sometime. And somebody staying outside smoke, I can't believe somebody said, Ah, you I can't believe you used to smoke. Yeah, I did it. Rather smoke than eat. That's how bad it was. First thing in the morning, last thing in the almost burned the bed one time. Fell in the bed, I caught myself. Oh you see what I'm saying? That's what the that's what the devil wants you to do. Destroy yourself. That's what he wants. Yeah, I could have got burned up. Where were I in? Right in hell. Because I wouldn't save them. Right in hell. So it's very important. I thank God on the side. All right, Toby, where are we at now? Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Verse 2. Well, the last clause of verse 1. But after the Spirit, verse 2, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

SPEAKER_01

The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Jesus Christ went to the cross. I'm gonna get cut off here. He went to the cross. He paid the sin debt that you and I could not pay. And he said, Come unto me, all you that are live and heavy laden, I want to give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Guess what he said. But we got to believe it by faith. You some people might be saying, Well, you know, I've been walking with God for a long time, but you haven't been letting God lead you. You've been leading yourself. See, a lot of people, religion is different than salvation. It's two different religion is I do what I want to do, my thing. Salvation, I do it God's way. It's two different things. Religion is terrible because we feel like we don't need Jesus to tell me what to do. I I know what I want to do. If I want to get high, I get high. If I want to go this place, I go to this place. I do what I want to do. But salvation is Lord, what would I have me to do? In all my ways I acknowledge you. I want you to direct my path. Because I fall in a hole. But I need your direction. It's not in man to direct his own steps, the Bible said. It's not in man. Very important that we understand. Jesus went to that cross, he paid the sin debt that we couldn't pay. The sin debt was we couldn't keep the law. And it took his blood. When he went to that cross, he paid it in full. And because we are in him, we are paid in full with the law. So I want to say it today, God is calling you. It's not by coincidence that we are in this place. God has a purpose. You have to seek God and ask God, what is your purpose for my life? He don't want you just to be drifting. He has a purpose. Some of us have been around churches for years, been reading our Bibles for years, but we haven't been doing what God said do. God said today is the day of salvation. Today is the day of salvation.
