SPEAKER_02Okay. We're going to go back to where we stopped at. We stopped on, I think, the third or fourth chapter. This uh fifth Roman, the fifth chapter. Same thing. We're going right back to this second faith always wins. So we got to fight to keep our faith in what Jesus already given us everything we need. He said, I'm giving it everything you need pertaining to life and godliness. And it's through the knowledge of God. So that's the fight that we're in right now. We are fighting to stay safe. You're fighting to not go back to the world where you came out of, to the old man. We are fighting to stay in Jesus. That's our fight. We're not fighting the devil. Get behind me, devil. Get behind me, devil. That battle has been won. See, the devil don't want you to think it's been won, but it's already been won at the cross. Jesus won that battle at the cross. When he went to the cross, he took everything back that Adam stole. That the devil stole from Adam, I mean. Everything that the devil stole. Adam gave it up. Him and Eve. That's why Jesus had to go to the cross to redeem mankind back. So very important. So we talk Friday night, we talk on the peace. We talk on we got a hope. Our hope is in Christ Jesus. That's the hope that we got. We know that every one of us, if Jesus tarried long enough, every one of us is gonna leave here one day. But the main thing we know that on the other side, we still got that hope. We got the hope here and we got the hope there. On both sides. Forever to be with the Lord. To be absent from the body, toe ever be with the Lord. If I sing that song soon and very soon, Jesus' time is not like our time. We are going to see the key. But the main thing is dress up now. This is a dressing room. We get dressed up, put on what God has put on through the word of God. Dress up. You like you dress up when you get up in the morning. You dress, put your clothes on, dress. Now we dress up in the spirit, doing it the way God wants us to do it. All right. Okay, so uh Tyree, we see we say we thought of what verse you read now. Three.
SPEAKER_00Romans five and three. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation works patience. Y'all see that?
SPEAKER_02If you don't have no patience, wait till these tests will come. If you allow the test to do what it's supposed to do, it'll work patience. And doing, go through. So that's what it's saying. And I've written down for patient, I mean, for tribulation, the pressure is gonna come on. Old pressure is gonna come on, stress gonna come on, adversity is gonna come, affliction, squeezing. You know, you're squeezing the grapes and get the juice out of. We're gonna be squeezed. These tests come so heavy sometimes, and you're going to hardly get you from one test to another one. Soon as I go through this one, here pop another one. You say, Oh my god, just went through a test last week. Now here comes another one popping up. Now, when the test comes against us, when the enemy comes against us, you got to know who you are. Because Jesus knew who he was. So he had to speak that word. Man don't live by bread alone. I'm living by the whole book, whole Bible. Everything God ordained for me to go through. We got to go through. So we live by what? Man should not live by bread alone, but we live by knowing who you are in Christ. I'm more than a conqueror. And they and all these things. I'm more than a conqueror. We gotta let the devil know who we are. Jesus let him know who he is, he who he was during that time. God and man, but he didn't use his God, he didn't use his identity. But he was leaning on the Holy Spirit just like us. Man should not live by bread alone. Suppose he didn't know the word. Wish he was the word, but he didn't use his deity. Man should not live by bread alone, but by every word. So what is he telling us? How are we gonna live by every word? We don't know what the word's saying. I'm not saying you don't know, that's why it's so important to get to know the word. Then we know what when the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of God ends us, the word, we lift up a standard, come against the enemy. You can't fight this devil with your knight fist and gun like we did in the world. Fight with our lips, talk, fight with our gun, knife. But now you gotta use the word of God because you're not your own. Guess what? We are a what?
unknownNew creation.
SPEAKER_02New creation. We're not the same old person we used to be. We are new creator, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. So now we have to lean on Jesus, on his uh uh what I would say, on what he had accomplished for us upon that cross. So we lean on the word of God. What have he accomplished for us? We gotta go back and say he said, I was wounded. I was wounded. Not for me, what's nothing wrong with him, he said. But I was wounded for you. And that's what we got to realize when the ending comes. I was wounded for you. That's what God's saying to each and every one of us. I was wounded for you, for your transgression, for your sins, your shortcoming. I was wounded for your transgression, bruised for your, I was bruised. All them nails and blood running and messed up so bad, and putting their scones, what you call thones on his head, all that. He said, all this was it hurt. Even when he was in the garden of the seminary, he could have said, I can't go through this. How many times we felt like giving up and the test got kind of heavy? And we felt like just throwing our hands and said, Look, Lord, just take me home. I can't go through this. But he said, You can go through. Now you can't go through with your own strength, but it was me. Nothing is impossible with me. So what did he do in that garden? He didn't throw his hands up. But what he said, nevertheless, not my will. He turned it right over to God. Nevertheless, not even about me, but it's about your will being done in my life. That's what we got to say when we go to our test. Nevertheless, not my will. But your will be done in my life. How many times do we say that? We got to say that when the test comes, we got to say, not my will. But most of the time, we don't have to beg our Lord do this for me, Lord, do that. He says done, it's a done deal. It's already done. You already healed, you already delivered, you already free. But you got to know that you know that you're free because you don't know it, you can't receive what you don't know. So when you know within yourself that it's already been paid for, I told you go to the grocery store and get that basket of food that I'm paid for. If you don't believe, you're not gonna go get it. But yet it's still paid for. So it's already paid for. Jesus, I pay for everything. Everything you need, you already got it. But how can I get it? Faith always wins. That's faith. My confidence, my trust in Jesus. Always come through every time. So let's go to the fourth verse.
SPEAKER_00Uh Romans 5 and 4. And patience, experience, and experience hope.
SPEAKER_02Your patience, your endurance, it brings an experience. You get to know God like you never knew before when you go through these tests and trials. That's why you find people a lot of times, you can talk to people, you can tell they done been through something. By the way they talk and by the way they carry themselves, you can tell that they done went through something, and now they really, really trusting God. You can tell when you talk to them. They're not grumbling and complaining. Oh, I don't know why God's doing that. I don't know why God let this happen to me. I just don't understand it. They're not grumbling and complaining because they got that hope in Jesus. They believe it, I'm coming out, whatever I'm in, I'm coming out. You got to keep that hope. I'm coming out of whatever I'm in. So that that uh that fourth verse said, and patience. Experience. You get an experience, you get to get to know Jesus like you never knew him before. That's the fourth verse. Uh the fourth verse, and experience, and patient experience. And experience hope. When you got an experience, you got hope because you still trust in God for your salvation. You still trust in God. I don't see him, but I believe. We don't see Jesus. Have we ever seen him? That's why most people go by the five senses. They go by what they see. Well, it looks like it's getting worse. We're looking at our five senses. It looked like it ain't gonna get no better. You got to see it in the spirit. If you're gonna see, if it's gonna happen, you're gonna have to look at it and see it in the spirit. You gotta see it in the spirit in order for it to be fulfilled. Yes, you look at it, it looks like it's getting worse. But you look at it with your eyes. But look at it through the word of God and say, Lord, I thank you. Thank you for my healing, thank you for my deliverance, thank you for my joy, thank you for my peace. You've gone through everything just racking your mind, but Lord, I thank you for it. You begin to thank him for all at once, everything just cool right there. Why? Because he's like, I got you, I got you. I got it. Give it to me, I got it. But you holding, I can't do nothing with it. You keep holding it, you keep on speaking the negative to us. I can't do nothing with it. But if you would speak my word over it and believe me in the midst of it, I can do something about it. But you keep on looking for the pain. Where that? Let's see. Let's see. My head, my shoulder. Where? Where is the pain? You looking for. Don't look for the pain, look for the healing. Look for what the word had done. Look what the word has done. That's what you look for, but you keep looking for that thing. You keep putting your hand on the devil has handled a feel that. Oh, the pain is so bad. I don't know if I can make it or not. He wants you to say that. He then they look at look at Jesus just like it did with Adam and Eve. Uh-huh. Made them dike God's word. He'll make you dyke God's word. That's the same devil ain't no different. He's the same devil back there that he is today. If he can make you dyke God's word, you can't get nothing from God. You cannot get nothing because you don't believe. Only way God can work is you gotta believe. If that can believe unbelief, God don't like unbelief because he can't please him. When he done done all this for us, all that he suffered for us. And we say, I don't believe. I don't believe, I don't believe that he really wants to heal me. I don't believe he really wants to deliver me. I don't believe he really wants me to have a happy life. I don't believe he wants me to have joy. I don't believe he wants me to have this. This is the purpose why he died, so that you can have life. He said, more abundant life, more abundantly means everything about you. Your health, your strength, everything you need. Soundness in the mind, everything you need. That's what he died for. So you can have health more abundantly. You can't really praise God when you're hurting the pain, so much pain racking in your body. That's why you turn it over to him and say, Lord, I choose, I give this to you. I give this to you. This thing is hurting me so bad. But I know it's nothing I'm going through that you don't know about. Then you have an experience with God, and once he healed you one time, he'll do it again. If he did it before, he'll do it again. All he's waiting for you to do is believe. If thy canist believe, all things are possible. But you keep on saying, you frustrate the grace of God. All that he went through on that crawl, you're saying that it's no good. What you're saying, the blood didn't do it. He went through all that, but it it ain't helping me. I'm in pain. He said, I gotta take you that way. I got to take you that way to get you to where you need to go. I can't get you that. I can't take you from here to the door. You gotta go through all the way up. You see what I'm saying? You got to go that way. I got to take you that way. We have an experience. Experience means like you've been there before. Okay. So I know if he did it before, he'll do it again. That's what it's all about. So it's very, very important. Experience with God. That was the fourth verse you read. And those who remain good, steadfast, when the test they will receive what? The crown of life. Look at James 1 and 12. Stay with that Romans, but turn to James 1 and 12. First chapter of James. People keep looking at what's what's happening to them right now. Stop looking at the now and look at what is now and going on. What are you gonna receive? Just like a person go to work. You don't, you might not like the job, but you're not looking at Monday morning. Oh Lord. You're looking at Friday, I'm gonna get a paycheck. Y'all see what I'm saying? You're looking at it, you're gonna get the paid on the weekend. Uh if you go on Medicare, whatever it is, or Social Security, or whatever it is, of retirement, you're looking for that check to come in the mail. That's what I'm talking about. You're not grumbling and complaining, but I gotta go to work Monday. You're so busy looking at, look what you're counting up your money before you can get it. Oh, Friday. This is how much I'm gonna get, and I think I'm gonna be able to pay for this and pay for that and do that. You see what I'm saying? You're not looking for that's what God wants us to do now. Stop looking at what you're going through now. Stop looking at these tests and trials that you are in and look at where these tests and trials are gonna take. It's not to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us. That's what I'm talking about. These tests and trials that we are going through now is not, you can't compare it to what we got with what God got for us. God got great things for us, but we can't compare. How can you compare that? It's nothing that here that you can compare with the glory that God had for us. So when these tests and trials come, we go through these tests and trials experience. We got an experience with God because He did it before, He'll do it again. We know that soon and very soon we're gonna see the King. We're gonna be forever with the Lord. And we know if I can go through those tests without giving up, then I can have a good life here, and I have a good life there. I can live for God here, and I know when I get there, it's gonna be a great life. Because you're not looking at what you're going through, you're looking at where he's taking you. On your job Monday morning, you're not looking at two months about, mm-hmm, all this hard work, hard work, hard work. And you keep looking at hard work, hard work, hard work. You ain't gonna even want to go to work. But when you begin to look at that, you can't have your slide. I'll get a paycheck. Look how much I'm getting. That's all you're thinking about. It'll take you all through the week. You see what I'm saying? It'll let you feel good going to work. Tuesday come, Wednesday come, Thursday come. You say, one more day. Made it just for tomorrow's payday. That's the way we gotta look at. Every day we live in, we're getting close and close to leaving here. Close and close to Jesus coming back for a prepared people. So we prepare ourselves now for where we're going. We prepare just like the person gonna get married. They don't wait till the day they're gonna get married and go get the wedding gown and get all the all this decoration and everything. They prepare ourselves for maybe five years from now, or maybe two years from now. You see what I'm saying? So that's where they prepare themselves. So when the time comes, they're ready. We got everything they need. That's the same way this way. We prepare ourselves now because we have a hope. Where did we get it from? He's coming back for a prepared church. Amen. I'm going to prepare a place for you. And I'll come again and receive you to myself. The way I am, there you should be also. We'll forever be with him. The same Jesus that left here, that same Jesus that died on the cross, that shed his blood, that loved us so much that he's willing to give his life. See, we gotta stop saying about me. Be this selfish. Well, what I'm going through, I can only go through this. But yet you want to go to heaven when you leave here. But yet you want God to open doors for you when you need doors open. But we don't want to go through the tests. You got to go through how you're gonna get to know him. You will never get to know a person if you don't spend some time with them. And we ain't gonna spend but so much time with them if we don't get into this word. If we don't spend some time in our secret closet, we're not gonna get to know him. We're not gonna build up no relationship. And then when the test comes, we're not gonna trust him. This test is gonna come. We're not gonna trust God with our life. But if we get into this word like we're supposed to, and when the test comes against us, we'll know what God's Word says. You're more than conquerors, you're not just a conqueror, they in all these things. You're more than a conqueror. That means you win. Faith always wins. Because our faith is in him, not in me, not itself. My faith in, oh I know I can go through that. Oh, that's easy. No, it's easy with him, but not with me. Y'all see what I'm saying? It's easy. Well, you guys, ooh, but that person got an easy test. To them, that test is just as hard as yours. Every one of us got a different test. None of us got the same test. Well, I'd rather have that person test. God knows what do you think the Holy Spirit, all wise God, don't know what test to give every one of us? He knows you can go through what you can go through, but you got to do it his way. Why would he put some, he said, I would not put more on you than you're able to bear. So why would he put more on us than we are able to bear? And he already told us in this word that we can go through. But see, we want everything easy, the milk bottles and and the pacifiers and and all the stuff, the baby stuff. God said, Now it's time to eat meat. Just like a baby. After the baby gets a certain age, you said, get rid of that pacifier. Sometimes y'all will have to take that pacifier to two years old and still suck it on the pacifier. You said, Look, it's time now. Time now to get rid of that pacifier. I remember Faith, she had that pacifier, she was two years old, stable, walking around with the pacifier. And walking around the pacifier, that thing had to drop down the hole one day. We were somewhere outside. We went down the drain hole. And when she seen went down, every time she asked for it, I said, Didn't you see go down the drain? So she always remembered that the drain went down the drain. So what I'm trying to say is that's the same thing with us. We want to hold on to the old thing. You know, I don't want to hurt too bad. I don't mind serving God, but I don't want to give this up. I don't want to let this go. I don't want to let that go. I don't want to give this up. So you see what I'm saying? It's very important that we let these things go that's pulling us back from God. You see what I'm saying? Some things will pull us away from God, and other things that will make us get closer to God. These tests will make us get close to God. So that's what I'm saying. We got to start eating meat. The babies, a lot of times they've been so used to drinking milk at the bottles and it's pacifying all that. They don't want no meats and stuff like that. I want to have to chew, it's too hard. Gotta keep chewing, chewing, chewing, chewing. You see what I'm saying? And that's what we want sometimes. We just want an easy word. Well, I go home, I can look at it, and I just get it just like that. No, sometimes you have to look at that word two or three times, the Lord. You have to pray, Lord, open up my understanding. I I see what you're saying, but I don't understand it. Open up my understanding. You said all I get and get an understanding. I need an understanding of this word so I can do what you taught me to do. I can't do it if I don't understand it. We talk to God. That's how you build up your relationship. You talk to him, and that's why you know what I'm saying. Oh, I got it now. I've been reading this script for a long time. Now I see what he's saying. It comes to you. Because why? Because you didn't give up. You don't give up. You can't give up in the midst of the stone. You don't give up. We got so much to thank God for. So that's what he James is saying 1 and 12. What did it say, James? 1 and 12, or Tyree?
SPEAKER_00James 1:12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation. For when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life.
SPEAKER_02Hold it right there. Blessed is the man who endured temptation. They read it referred to the test of faith. Your faith is being tested. Our faith is being tested every day. When you get up in the morning, do you feel like praying every day you get up? How many feel like praying every day you get up and spending time in God's presence? You ain't gonna see nobody's hand go up. You know why? Because you're not gonna feel your flesh ain't gonna feel like it. But then you know when you start it, you don't want to stop. Your flesh don't feel like doing nothing for God. That's the flesh. You don't want to do it. You your eyes are tired, you're sleepy, you want to lay back down, and all this, but you push yourself forward. And once you get started, then you say, Oh, I'm so glad I went into my secret classes. So that means he said, Blessed are you, happy, joyful are you. That's what he really is saying here. You are happy and you're joyful.
SPEAKER_00What that read said that uh Tari refers to the test of faith, refers to a reward much greater than the price paid, which the Lord has promised to them who love him.
SPEAKER_02If you love God, you do what he said. He said, If you love me, you keep my commandment. So read that. If we truly love him.
SPEAKER_00If we truly love him, we will truly keep his commandments, which we can do with the help of the Holy Spirit, who requires that our faith ever rest in the cross.
SPEAKER_02You see that? Our faith is continually resting on what Jesus did at the cross, rest in him, approve. Those who remain steadfast under test will receive the crown of life. Life here and life after. Eternal life. That's what you're gonna receive. He's the crown of life. Go through hardship. When our Christian character goes through hardship, hope for what God had promised us, we grow stronger. We get stronger. Every test you go through, you get stronger. The more hope, stronger. He brought me through that, he's gonna take me through this. So, God, that's how much God loves you. When you realize how much God loves you, it's easier for you to go through your test. If you think that God don't love you, it's hard to go to a test. First thing you think, no, why are you letting all this happen to me? I just don't understand. Nobody else going through but me. But when you understand that God loves you, he allowing you to go just like Job. Job he was he hated the day he was born. A made up child was born. Why? Because it's Tober, he'd lost his children, his animals, everything he'd lose and all this. The only thing God wanted was to get Joe to know him. That's all God was after. All he had to do was spend time with God and got to know God. But he was grumbling and complaining. And that's the same thing. If we're not careful, we'll do the same thing. So we can't get upset with him because we how many times have we done the same thing, grumbling and complaining? When things didn't go the way we think it should go. On your job, or in your home, or in your school, or wherever you at, or wherever that things don't go the way you think it should go. People talking about you, persecuting you, just lying on you, and all this kind of stuff. We get upset. They lied on Jesus. They did all kinds of things to him. They call him the devil and everything else. And somebody will call you the devil. Some of us might be ready to fight. He lets like Ella Kelly said this morning, throw that desk over there. Y'all heard it this morning? Be ready to throw the chair on the desk. But you can't do it now. That was back during that time. You didn't have Jesus, didn't it? Today make a difference. When you got Jesus, you can't throw the desk, the chair, and all that. You have to, it's a new life. All right now. Let's let's go to the next one. We go back to Romans. See, patient experience. Mm-mm. We got a hope. If you don't remember nothing else, remember faith and hope. We have a hope. If you don't remember nothing else, you got faith, you got a hope. Yes, we all go through the same test. Nobody's exempt. Everybody in this world goes through tests. Nobody, even whether you save or not saved, you're gonna go through testing. But it's so much better when you got Jesus on your side when you go through. When you was in the world, you went through testing. And a lot of times we were in the world, we didn't grumble when we go through them testing. We we go out on Friday night and get gets um messed up this way or that way, and come next morning you got a hangover or whatever it is, and you're feeling all bad and sick and everything. You didn't grumble and complain. But why is it that when you're going this way, because the enemy wants us to complain? He figured we complain after why we're gonna give up. And you complain long enough, why are you gonna give up? Well, God don't love me. Why that just happened to me? I just I don't have to go this way. I'm just gonnabody else going through but me. He'll make you say nobody else going through but you, and everybody going through tests, but you don't see nothing but yours. All I'm saying, you see yours. Fifth verse.
SPEAKER_00Romans 5 and 5. And hope makes not a shame. And effect tells us that this is not a false hope. Because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts. God's love brings all of this about by the Holy Spirit, which is given unto us. All of this is a whole is wholly a work of the Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_02You see that? All of this is a work of the Holy Spirit. And hope make not ashamed. You're not ashamed. This is not a false hope we got. This is a real hope that Jesus is coming back. We got we are blessed and shown, we know he's coming back for prepared people. Because the word says so, and he can't lie. Because the love of God now is shared abroad in our hearts. When God saved or he is love, he's in our heart now. God love bringing all of this abite through the Holy Spirit. That's what it's saying. All of this is why a work of the Holy Spirit. If we allow the Holy Spirit to do the work in us, all the things that God wants to do in our lives, we got to move out of the way. And stop trying to do it yourself and let God do it. And you watch and see. Stop trying to take care of your own self. You don't belong to yourself no more. You belong to God. Your body belongs to God. You can't do what you want to do when you want to do it how you want to do it no more. Well, I don't have to put up with that. What do you mean you won't have to put up with that? You might have to put up with that more. I ain't got to put up with all that kind of foolishness. I do what I do. Who are you talking to? I don't have to pray upon one. I don't care how many people tell me I need to pray more. I need to read my Bible more. I don't have to do all that. You ain't gonna make it if you don't. Because sooner or later you're gonna fall. You might got enough to hold you for a little while. That's why you're going down. You got to stay in this word. You will go down. You think you want, you see people leave God and ask why you know anything. You see them, they look all bad and sick and late and everything else. Because they ain't got no, they ain't been praying, they ain't been seeking God. You see the leave God and that's why you know anything. You said, God, you see that prayer? You said, Whoa, what happened? They don't got sick, the devil don't want to take them out. That's why we gotta stay prayed up and stay in God because the enemy don't love none of us. If we back up from God, he ready to come and try to take every one of us out. What do you care about us? Because we ain't we ain't walking by faith, so we ain't got nothing to hold on to. What are you holding on to? Only thing keeping us is faith in God's word, knowing who we are. So that's why it said, hope make not ashamed, because the love of God is shared abroad in our hearts. By the Holy Spirit, which is given unto us. All of this is wholly a work of the Holy Spirit. We know the love of God has us bring us future blessing because the Holy Spirit let us know in our heart the love God has for us. God has love for us. All right, let's look at the sixth verse.
SPEAKER_00Romans 5 and 6. For when we were yet without strength, before we were saved, in due time, at the appointed time, Christ died for the ungodly.
SPEAKER_02Y'all see that? We wasn't saved like that, drinking, partying. We saw we were having a good time. We were on our way out. The devil wants to take you out. I'm smoking two packs of cigarettes a day. Some of you out there homemonging and drinking and partying and doing everything with your body. You thought you own your own body, not even realize. Go party, stay half of the night, not get no rest. Just doing what you want to do. Cuss somebody out of a minute. Somebody pull in front of you, you ready, jump out the car and fight. But now we are new creatures in Christ Jesus. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. We go back, we wouldn't we write a book, we wouldn't want nobody to read that book. He said, Well, that's you. But when we were yesterday, but when we were yet resided at strength before we were saved, in due time at the appointed time, Christ died for the ungodly. He didn't wait for us and say, Okay, I'm gonna serve you, God. If you die for me, I'm gonna serve you. We had to make him no promises, but he died anyway. He made the provision for each and every one of us. He made a provision for us while we were yet while we were yet sinners. Didn't want to be bothered with him, turning our back. Oh no. Somebody come talk to you about the Lord. Uh-uh. Don't don't bring that though, don't try to brainwash me. Don't bring that stuff to me. We throw it right back at him. But now we want the witness to appear. We want them to come on in just like that. You didn't come right in when you witnessed to you the first time. Some of us didn't come right in. We did what we wanted to do. But some got a hold of us one day. And we realize it's time to come on in. Noah says it's gonna rain. Come on in. We realize now it's time to come in. Sometimes sickness has hit your body. Most times if you ask somebody, uh uh, how did they come to Christ, they will tell you something happened in their life to bring them to the Lord. Either the terrible relationship, either sickness in the body, something took place to get tell them, let them know it's time for me to come on in. A lot of people wouldn't be in right now if it wasn't for something to happen to their body. If it wasn't for whatever. Some people go through all kinds of pain and suffering. God has to allow you, He didn't God don't put it on you, but the enemy does it. He allows things to happen to you so that you come running to God, just like a child. When the things have happened to the dog or something coming after that child, that child could run into the parents. So that's just God have to allow, he moved back at the way. It's okay. I'm not I made a provision for you, but I'm not gonna twist you on and make you serve me. So it's up to you. But when the time comes, that track that you had in your drawer, whatever it is, somebody gave it to you a long time ago when they witnessed it to you. You found that you're oh, ooh, God, Lord, thank you, Jesus. Now you're ready to go all the way. One time you wasn't ready to go all the way. All you thought about me, myself, and I. I ain't gonna let nobody tell me what to do. I'm my own boss. Oh, yeah, you are. When time gets rough, you ain't gonna be your own boss. Very important. We realize I'm gonna do what I want to do, but I want to do. Leave me alone. We don't want to be bothered. But now, tough times. God said, I love you. I know about your pain. I still love you. Now look at 25, 425. It says, Who was delivered for our offense had to do with Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. He has no sin and was raised again for our justification. We were raised with him in newness of life. Hold on to that five and go to Romans 8:32. He who spared not his own son concerning the great great gift of God. That's how much God loved. That's why we got to see this thing. God loves us enough to send his own son, his only son. That's why he told Abraham, offer up your only child, your only son. Now I know you love me. Because you offer your only son, Isaac. Because God knew he was going to offer his only son. I know you love me. That's what he told Abraham. So it said, Yeah, he who spare not his own son, but delivered him up for us all. How shall he not with him also freely give us all things? How shall he not freely give us? Freely, you don't have to pay for it. All things: health, strength, peace, joy, everything you need. Y'all see it? 32, 432. He spare not his own son. Just think. How many mothers would spare their own son? Not too, I don't think we'll be too many in line for that. But what did he do? He delivered him up. He allowed Jesus. When Jesus was up on the cross and he cried out to Jesus, my God, my God, why has God forsaken me? Sin. He when he took on the sins of the whole world. God had to step out of that body. Couldn't stand that body. Can't stand sin. He can't stand in us. That's why we have to quickly repent when we do wrong. He can't stand, he can't stand sin. My God, my God. He loved Jesus so much. Why have I forsaken me? He cried out to Jesus. That's why the Bible said here, he who spare not his own son, but deliver him up for us all. How should he not with him also give us free to give us all things, everything you need? He promised he would supply all of our needs. See, we want our wants to be met. He didn't say wants, he said your needs. So it's very, very important. When you begin to read all this, it'll make you fall in love with Jesus. When you realize how much he loves you. Love is no good unless you give it away. It ain't no good as long as you hold on to it. You gotta give it away. Romans 5 and 7.
SPEAKER_00For scarcely for a righteous man will one die. Not many would do such. Yet, pre-adventure for a good man, some would even dare to die. Some few might. Verse 8. But God commended his love toward us. Christ dying for the ungodly is a proof of love immeasurable. In that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus died for those who bitterly hate him.
SPEAKER_02He died for those who bitterly hate him. He knew the Pharisees and Scribes hated him. That's the kind of love God when his people have. When people hate you and stuff like that, you still got to love them.
SPEAKER_00Verse 9. Much more than if Christ died for us while we were yet sinners, how much more will he do for us now that we are redeemed and thereby reconciled to him? Being now justified by his blood. We are justified now, and the blood of Christ stands as the guarantee for that justification. We shall be saved from wrath through him, the wrath of God, which is always manifested against sin.
SPEAKER_02Don't you see that? He did all this while we were yet sinners. Didn't want to be bothered with him. He hanging on that cross. He could have said, I'm not dying for y'all. Them Pharisees prophesy. Prophesy. Who hit you? He could have lost his temper. Some of us would have lost our temper and came down. I ain't dying for y'all. Who hit you? Prophesy. He could have said a whole lot of things, but he didn't. Humble himself. Even to the obedient to death. Humble himself. He humble himself. And as we go to our test and trial, we have to humble ourselves down. Some of us got too much fight in us, God. So I gotta get that fight out of you. Fight for the wrong thing. Humble yourself. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. We didn't have to make ourselves right before Jesus went to the cross, but God said Christ sent Christ to the cross to earn our salvation. You're gonna read all the way down to the 11th verse. Verse 10.
SPEAKER_00Romans 5 and 10. For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son. The only way we could be reconciled, this verse shoots down the Jesus died spiritually doctrine.
SPEAKER_02That's what some people said. Yeah. He went on the rough side. He didn't go on the surpreness side of hell. He went down and delivered those people that died with the faith.
SPEAKER_00Much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. That does not speak of his perfect life, but rather the pouring out of his life's blood at Calvary. Verse 11. And not and not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are to boast of our reconciliation to God, for it is a true confidence by whom we now we have now received the atonement. Reconciliation.
SPEAKER_02So you see that? Even during the hardship that we're going through right now, we have and we have a hope in God. We have a hope now because of what he accomplished on the cross. Even though we're going through a lot of things, sometimes feel like you just can't hardly make it. You hurt in here, you hurting there, or this going on, or that's going on, or kids on drugs, and this is happening, that's happening, and you, you know, your loved ones is ripping, running wild, and and you saying to yourself, Lord, I want to make it in, but I want my loved ones to make it in too, but they don't act like they want to make it in. And all this kind of stuff is going on, you know, it hurts. But you know, you can't people have to make up their own mind. One thing about people have to make up their own mind, go all the way. Okay, all I'm saying you can do is pray for them and say, Lord, you know, put the right people in the past and minister to them, that they would realize it's time to come on in. It's time to give their life to you. Sure, Turkey. But one thing when you get to heaven, you're not gonna be saying about the ones back down here that didn't make it in. Because if you couldn't have no joy, God would never let that happen. You would never let that happen. You get up there, it's gonna be a different mindset. That's why you pray for the loved ones while you're here. That they would give their life to the Lord. And you the only thing you can do is just tell them. And one day when they wake up, if they don't make it in, all these people disappear. You're gonna be saying to yourself, What? Oh my god, I remember they told me this was gonna happen. Oh, I'm left behind. It's too late. Gotta go through the tribulation. Too late. It's sad. That's why you do what you can do while you're in this body, while you're here. Pray for people, but you can't take down. You just gotta pray for people and keep moving. Whether it's your mom, your dad, your sister, your brother, your husband, your wife, or whoever it is. Only thing you do is just pray. Jesus don't make no twist nobody on, and we can't twist nobody on. People gotta make up their own high. Who do you want to serve? Very important. I'm gonna teach one day on Jacob and uh Esau. This is this is something I'm telling you. It's a lot when I begin to read up on that. How foolish we can be sometimes. You can't see, you know, we can't see them falling right here instead of seeing. Only God can see that for He knows everything. All we gotta do is totally surrender to Him. And I want you to realize today we have a hope. Our hope is in Christ Jesus. I was soon and very soon we're gonna see the King. All the stuff that's gone right now. Bible said, When you see all these things going on right now, look up. Your redeemer draw nigh, your redemption goes nigh. You see all the stuff going on, all this fighting and all these wars. But one thing he told us to do, be not deceived. Be not deceived. Many are gonna be deceived, deceived and being deceived. Antichrist cannot come until the church is taken out. I mean, he can't show its face, like he wants to show it. Once the church is taken out, you don't want to be left behind. Be left behind. Can Antichrist take over? It's a terrible thing. See all this going on right now, all the stuff going on. That's why it's very important. You gotta keep praying. So, souls, Lord. It's so many don't even know who you are and the partner of their sin. These things they're having a good time. You can have your party here and have your party with Jesus. What's that scripture in the Bible? He said, Son of my tell these people come on to the party. They didn't want to come. He said, Go into the Hades and the Bible, get the rest of them that want to come. Get the ones that want to come. You gotta want to give up this life. That's why he said, Except you deny yourself. Deny yourself, take up the cross and follow me. One man said, Well, let me go back and bury my father. I gotta go back and take up your cross. Put your hand to the plow and turn back, you know good. You gotta keep going. Why are you going? Because if the enemy can have you to backslide, it might not be easy to get back in. It's so easy. Offense will come. But make sure you keep going. Always the offense comes. Then people get mad with Jesus when them Pharisees and Strive. Jesus walked right around here with them. They could have accepted Jesus. They want him to go to the cross. Crucify him. They'd rather put the bad person down and put Jesus up on the cross. Jesus ain't done nothing. Innocent. That's the same thing they want to do to the Christians today. You still find that you're a Christian like that? You don't want to really be bothered with you. You don't want to hardly be your friend. Unless you have half in the half-fight. Unless you have in the half-fight. And you really gone for showing up in Christ, they don't really want to be bothered with you. You are offense to them. Why? Because they think that you're trying to be better than them. Because you got Jesus. You are better in a way, because you had Christ. But you hang around with those kind of people, why you know anything? You start doing the same thing they do. Because that spirit will jump on you. Very important. Hold fast to the profession of your faith without wavering. Very important. So this is the end of the faith always went. Because we talked about that John 16, 33. God said in this world you're going to have tribulation, but be of good courage. I have overcome the world. Second Timothy 3 and 10. Paul is saying here, but you have fully known my doctrine. Better translated. But as for you, in distinction from others, have fully known my doctrine, I mean his teaching. You fully know my teaching. Manner of life, you know my manner of life, you know my purpose, you know my faith, long suffering, characters, patience. Timothy knew Paul's example, which the gospel had brought in his life. Persecution, affliction, which came unto me. Paul said, All this came unto me, persecution, affliction, which came unto me as Antioch, and I called it this, all that. What persecution I endure. Paul said, Look what persecution I endure. But out of them all, the Lord deliver me. All the persecution I went through, out of them all, the God deliver me. That's what Paul said here. Then it goes on to the 12th verse. He said, Yes, and all who will live godly in Christ, not outside of Christ, in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution. You're gonna suffer persecution. If you're not suffering no persecution, people ain't talking about you and saying that you're you're fake and all that different things they're saying about you. Oh, you this and you that. It's something wrong. You must you you either you're agreeing along with them, what they're doing, or whatever it is, because these things see Christ in your life. But when they see Christ in your life, you are an offense to those who are not going forward. You're an offense. So it's say here, but evil men and seducer should wax worse and worse. That's what it says here. Deceiving and being deceived. So that's what it's saying. And when you're living for God, you're not gonna have too many people talking good about you. Recognize that godly life testifies against godlessness in others. Being like God is living like God has told us to live through his word. This involves studying and applying God's word to our life. See, when somebody's not doing that, they're not studying, they're not meditating upon God's word, they're not spending time in God's presence, you're gonna be an offense to them. Because every time they see you, they're gonna see themselves as, oh, she thinks she's better than I am. And then after what you can't come down, you got to keep going forward. I don't care if it's your kids for who it is. If they're not going forward, they're gonna talk about you too. Look at you see what happened in the Bible. That's why God showed you all these things in the Bible. Same thing we see in the Bible. You see Mary and uh his mother and his brothers going to try to pull Jesus out. He's beside himself. They say Jesus is beside his own brother. Didn't even set him up to be killed. Why don't you come on go? Do you give me a go to Jerusalem, wherever they've gone? Jesus says, It's not my time. He knew it wasn't his time. They setting him up to be killed because they couldn't see. They couldn't see in the spirit. You see, when you can't see in the spirit, you set people up. You got to know that you know that you know. Before Jesus said, didn't know who he really was and what his purpose was. He would say, Okay, yeah, I'm gone with y'all. Come on, brothers, let's go. But he didn't. He said, No. He said, No, that's not my time. He wanted him to go, but he did go later on, but he didn't go with them. He didn't let them see where he was. So what I'm trying to say is, you're an offense. Now later on, his brother got saved. That's what I'm talking about. He got he got saved later on. Teaching the word, preaching the word. But during that time, James had to go, uh Jesus had to go through something. Had to then when they realized, I guess, that after he went to the cross, they would say he's real. He realized that, okay, he's real. A lot of times your own kinfolk, those are the hard ones to get saved as your own kin folks. Other people sometimes easier to witness to it than your own kinfolk. Because these these looking back at the lifestyle that you used to live. That's what they look at. Oh, yeah, I don't believe they changed that much. They put on an accent, they ain't that they ain't that perfect. See, they don't know what you don't they don't realize. You got a new life now. You don't think you don't change. They watch you every time you see something. Hey, what happened? Very important. Live the life.
